We’ve been ordering from Flames for years but had a Chicken Tikka Rajshahi this time and it had a very different taste which I could have handled but it was the amount of salt that was put in it . Won’t be ordering again .

Used to order on 'lazy nights', but haven't done for a while. Husband is still happy with his curry, but my chicken kebab in pitta was truly awful! Dry, salty and I am sure that this is frozen fillets from a well known frozen food outlet. Will not be ordering again... No more lazy nights!

Been many, many times in past, usually for the 'family sized' special mixed kebab and went again last night, after not going for past 3 months (cost of living!!) and got a big shock! Prices gone up massively (£12.50 to £16.50), with a massive drop in quality and quantity too - they loaded the box up with chips, to make up for much less meat and we couldn't even taste any meat in Donner meat, just dry and tasteless. Not sure if they changed owners, but won't be going back to find out!

Food was consistently not turning up. We'd phone up and then it'd be delivered to us 1hr and 25mins later despite them saying it'll be 25 mins. Food would arrive stone cold, by which time it was late as heck and nobody wants to have to send it back then wait again till late just to eat. It was sp suspiciously cold and dry that we just assumed they'd made the order and it was left on the side to go cold and await a driver. We gave them more than enough chances to improve, but this consistent experience put us off using them again. Delivery drivers always seemed pleasant however.

Absolutely the worst Indian food I’ve ever had, chicken dry, sauces weren’t even filled half way up to the top, masala just tasted like sugar. I binned the lot after a few mouthfuls. Even the dog wouldn’t eat the chicken. Driver was courteous and owner was kind enough to bring me £5 back for the issues, but I’d have been better off making a sandwich. The only nice thing were the popadoms. My husband only tried one of everything then actually made himself a cheese sandwich instead! Waste of money, we could have got better and cheaper from a supermarket.

Been getting food from here for about 10 years now. Always good people, staff very accommodating and curries are excellent. Deliveries always on time. Awesome all around.

We will NEVER order from here again 2 chicken kebabs that was so salty it was inedible not only that it was so dry and over cooked total waste of money we paid almost 28 pounds for our whole order .We also had a pizza and again there so much salt that it was inedible and totally DISGUSTING. NEVER ORDER FROM THIS TAKE AWAY !

I have always had this takeaway and always will be as its the best but have to say for past couple of times the pizzas not been the best tonights was very mushy and the last time didn't like the tomato puree hopefully better next time and the chicken tika sandwich is the best I always have it and the chips are beautiful nice and soft just the way i like them but just need to do somthing about the pizzas

Very oily lamb curry and lots of bones in it. The naan was also burnt. I would not recommend it.

Very poor food cold garlic bread soggy southern fried chicken has to be the worst takeaway I’ve ever had. Would avoid at all costs just cheap quality food and not even a reasonable price

Shocking ....Meal missing. Cold meal delivered. 2 burgers delivered looked like road kill. When spoke to the shop all we got was, next time you order we will credit you!!!!! This is 19:00 for a family not 23:00 for a feast!!! Never again!!!! Attitude stunk.

We have used flames for many years as the great menu choice suits our whole family. There has been an odd mistake here and there over the years which is to be expected but the service and food has mostly been spot on. Unfortunately over the last few months I can’t remember a time when the food arrived on time, correct and hot. I always get the staff member to read the order back to me to double check but every time the food arrives they have missed 2/3 things off from the order. They always blame the person who takes the phone order even though the ticket she writes out is attached to the bag on arrival and is correct so it’s obviously the people making the food who are at fault. They repeatedly say we will give you discount next time! I don’t want discount, I want the correct food in the time you stipulate and for it to be hot. Last night the same thing happened and the same mistakes were made, the food took 90 minutes instead of 40 and on arrival the order was incomplete and cold again. They blamed the girl who took the order again and offered us discount next time again!! Sorry flames but you have lost us as a customer now as this really needs sorting out. Such a shame but it can’t just be happening to us.

Ordered pizza took over a hour and half to get to me. Was stone cold when arrived donnor meat had two massive dead flies in there got abuse when spoke to them about it would never order from there again

My food arrived as per specified 45 mins after my order was placed, so on time being a Friday night. The chips were still hot so it's a good sign. My naan sandwiches were both fine however huge portions and not a lot of condiments like lettuce or onions and not a lot of sauces. If improved this can be an ace place. Satisfied enough

Food tastes lovely, it really does. However there’s only so much you can enjoy a stone cold curry. 50 mins late. 2 phone calls to the take away for an update, couldn’t give us an answer. Another phone call after it finally arrived cold to complain, no apology, not bothered. We won’t be ordering from here again. 2 stars because if it was on time and hot I’m sure it would be nice.

Not a good start when the meal was already 40 minutes late on top of a 1 hour wait for our take away. When the meal finally arrived the onion bahjis tasted like they had been triple cooked over the course of 3 days, no doubt. The food was hot so I can’t complain about that, however the prawns were rubbery and hard (as if they had already been cooked beforehand) and the food was just o.k quality. For the expense of a £30 1 course meal with Naan and a couple of onion bahjis I would’ve expected much better taste and quality meals. I highly recommend a fresh and tasty Indian dish via hello fresh. Takeaways can’t seem to handle the increase of orders since covid-19 and for that, I feel they cut too many corners to keep up! (But that’s not good enough when paying £30 for a meal!!! you expect it to be top quality for that price). We won’t be ordering from here again.

Flames for years has been our one and only go to kebab shop because the food always tasted great. However we have now unfortunately had two really bad experiences. Months ago our food arrived and it was cold, rang and told a member of staff who wasn’t greatly bothered and said just tell us next time you order and we’ll give you 20% discount. We then haven’t ordered any takeaways since the pandemic, and thought we’d gives flames another go as anyone can have an off week. Spent £35, put a note on the order asking for no cheese on the small pizza for my little boy. It came with cheese. The food was cold, had to heat it all up, and the chicken that my husband bit into wasn’t cooked. Definitely will NEVER eat there again, gutted!

Very tasty and reasonably priced food. When we order we usually order from these guys. Delivery is quick and drivers are friendly :) Ordered a range of food in my time but the pizza is especially delicious.

On the rare occasions I come Nantwich for drinks I can't wait to order my chicken kebab from this place. I'm not sure how they do it but it's the best I've had. I can't comment on other food and home delivery but as long as they don't mess with the recipe I'll continue to use these guys!

Ordered a hot chicken balti and garlic pillau rice. Collected it half an hour later. What happened guys? It was tasteless, full of onion with a bit of dry chicken thrown in for good measure. It wasn't as if you were busy as two or three guys were sitting around looking at their phones. The food had clearly been thrown together by someone with no interest or pride in what they were presenting. Well, I don't care to give you my custom again....

Regular business doesn’t seem to matter to this place. We are regular customers or we were.... 1hr 30 and counting for a delivery ...call and they lie and say it’s on its way when it isn’t... Worst service I’ve ever had from a take out. Will go elsewhere in future.

Too greasy for me but my family enjoyed it. It smells really bad they got the order wrong . I suppose the price isn't bad though. Oh and they couldn't understand me on the phone

We called in for kebabs and were not disappointed! Friendly service and lovely fresh kebabs !

Just Ridiculous!!! Ordered margarita pizza and portion of chips with doner meat ( 2 meals) just to realise that they decided to put it all together in a pizza box! yep! Doner and chips on top of margarita!!! Not sure how this mean to be eaten, probably they expected us to scrape the chips and doner of the pizza at home? One of us doesn't eat meat so that was just one big disaster! Also when we said that we waned it separate a very rude member of staff said that we need to mention this next time...well there will be not a next time!!!

Delicious food and friendly staff

Ordered on a Friday night, just after 7 and was told 50 mins. We had to call them at 8.20 to see what was going on, food arrived 10mins later, so approx 35mins after they suggested, and the order was wrong & partly missing! Called back to be told the correct order would be with us in 15mins, 30mins later and we're still waiting! Girl on the phone had zero manners and I won't even mention her customer service skills! Shocking on every element! If I could give a 0 on ratings I would!

This place has a wide variety of food from burgers and kebabs to Indian food.It's good takeaway food.

I ordered fromvthis place and its was a mushroom pizze instead of margarita. That stupid woman must think mushroom is margarita! How ridiculous!

Have ordered mid week once before, and was fine. Ordered tonight, and never again! Wouldn't even give one star!!! Ordered online, food took forever to arrive. Spoke to someone over the online chat, they told me they had rang the shop and had been informed it was out for delivery, we waited another 20 minutes, this time I rang the shop, to be told it was still at the shop! Food finally arrived an hour and a half later, to find items missing! Rang again, took ages to get through, by this time the food we had received was cold, I was shouted at over the phone by the man in the shop, and was told to enjoy my food and it wasn't their fault as they were busy!! Requested a refund to be told they can't do that, as I had ordered online, went back online to the chat to be told by them, it was up to the takeaway to refund me. Rang yet again, to be shouted at all over again, telling me boss man wasn't there to give refunds, and then to be told he would come to my house later tonight to refund me! Trying to fob me off! The way I was spoken to was disgusting, I sent my partner down to resolve it with the cold food in tow. We were also told not to come to the shop!! We were eventually given full refund, and partner returned with a whole new order of our food, which wasn't what I wanted, I was happy with just the refund, tried a small amount of the food, it was average, after all of this comoshsion, originally ordered around 7pm, partner came back at 9:30pm, ruined our Saturday night, food left as didn't fancy it after all this mayhem! Safe to say won't be ordering again, if they can't cope, maybe get more staff?? And ones that know how to deal with situations like this.

Fast delivery. Pizza was really good. Tikka nan sandwich was good but a little greasy. Currys are good value and very tasty but again can be quite greasy

On the face of it this is just another takeaway / kebab shop, but compelled to write this review based on how good (and reasonably priced) the curry options are. As good as anything I have eaten in sit down restaurants in Nantwich, and in fact in many ways better. Some terrific specials which are not over spiced (heat wise) but always extremely flavourful. Throw in great prices and free delivery and this is a real must try.

Having been a customer at this place for over 6 year I have been very satisfied till now. Just recently the past three times I have been here the food standards and hygiene have seriously dropped I.e brown lettuce, reheated chips and donet meat like rubber. I will endeavour to inform the manager and hope the place returns to its usual high standards.

Really fancied a curry all day I was propper craving one. service was great delivery came bang on time,so I thought great!! Got some free poppadoms and they were great chutney was awesome!! Then for the main event the best bit I opened it up with shear excitement, stuck the tikka on me plate then the rice took one bite and it was like chicken coated in sugar paste I thought what the hell! This is no tikka masala I still ate all of it because the chicken was cooked very well! But now unfortunately I may be a type 2 diabetic. And my stomach has gained 2 inches! If anyone could tell me why this is it would be great!?

The delivery took a long time to come, the guy was very rude and then to top it off; I had an allergic reaction due to cross contamination of the food. Won’t be going there again, ever

First time i had ordered from Flames Balti Massala. Had the set meal for one, I thoroughly enjoyed it!. Very tasty, The chicken chilli massala with pilau rice. Will be ordering from here from now on.

I know it's a matter of personal taste, but as a londoner used to Indian food cooked by Indians in their own homes, I must say this absolutely delivers. You ask for hot, you get hot and you can tell the difference between chillies and chilli powder. Lemon? Yup, you can see the lemon. My 1st choice from now on. Delivery is prompt as well.

I liked nothing.Payed for a zinger burger and received a bun with 2 chicken pieces thrown in that's all,same for my partner no salad or anything even tho we ordered it on extras and paid extra for itto have more salad but no sign of salad!!! Probably delivery driver ate a half of the order on the way or something...looked forward to my food but received a garbage,ridiculous don't eat from this place you just waste your money,they rob people off

We have used Balti Massala for a long time now as our local takeaway. The variety of meals is amazing and if you are not sure what you are looking for then all you have to do is ask and they will advise and guide you to what you are after. Friendly staff and great food from your local takeaway 😃

This is my local takeaway and does an excellent range of Curries The chicken tikka naan sandwich is a guilty pleasure, and not to be missed

We have been trying to find a good authentic Indian in the Town for ages. Have tried several already but they were either too greasy or had too much colouring and onions and green peppers thrown into the dish. My son recommended this place the other day and I thought I would give it a try and ordered the Karahi Keema and Pilau Rice. I was quite surprised by the taste. It was very good. Although still too red in colouring and the lamb could be a bit coarser and meatier the taste and spice was spot on. I would definitely come here for a quick meal instead of just driving all the way for a meal at the Curry Mile in Rusholme as we often do.
