Some of the tastiest Thai food I've ever had. Everything in the mixed starter was delicious, as was the pad thai. My boyfriend had the massaman, which was really aromatic and not too spicy. Wonderful service too 😊

What a great find. A warm welcome, nice surroundings, fresh and beautifully cooked food, and a Thai beer (or two) to wash it down. I even got a chance to say hi and thankyou to the chef personally. Faultless. Thankyou!

It is with no joy that I review again what was my wife's fav restaurant. This was never my fav place, so we just used to go on special occasions, birthdays, new years.. However, last nights set meal was I'm afraid a total letdown, especially when compared to the previous new years. The starters were just average, with the previously great chicken satay just so-so, and the Thai fish cakes not great. The stir fried mixed seafood was rubbery, tough and pretty tasteless. The king prawns in the panang curry were similarly rubbery & tough. The fried seabass was not too bad. However the Tom Yum soup was outstanding, full of depth of flavour. ...and annoyingly, really annoyingly, when offered desert, I asked for jasmine tea instead of coffee or fritters, but this was not available unless I paid extra for it, which I declined to do. If i was to guess, I would say that they have downgraded the raw ingredients and unfortunately that shows. Alas, unfortunately I said nothing about this at the time, as I didn't want to spoil my wife's enjoyment of her fav place. However, this morning when we discussed, it transpired she felt the same. lesson learnt.

Absolutely abysmal, apparently our order was delivered but it was to the wrong address. when we called to enquire there was no answer despite it being well within working hours. Continued to try calling but no answer. iI is now too late to order from a more reliable venue. Will not be using O'Cha Thai for either takeaway or Dine-In again, and would advise that no one else does either. There are several other excellent takeaways in macclesfield who better deserve your custom.

Our go to place for Thai food in the area. The flavours are always there. It is not the cheapest of places to eat, but we have never been disappointed with the food.

Really lovely food and I'd highly recommend trying one of the chefs specials. The owners were also incredibly polite.

Authentic Thai food at reasonable price. My only quibble is that the Chicken Krapao used quite large pieces rather than something more mince-like that is usual. Located in the centre of town.

Decent place, lacking portion sizes. But the food was very nice, shame there wasn’t a lot of it. Also our server was very polite and kind. Thank you for a good experience.

A family run and owned Thai restaurant, serving excellent food, I would recommend you book beforehand it's popular and I would suggest the day before.

Ordered delivery on a Wed eve. Took over an hr (via Uber eats) and both rice portions missing. Not great value for money anyway (duck portion was very small) so not sure will be ordering again. Shame as curries are delicious.

Lovely family run, traditional, Thai Restaurant. Food was very good, service was professional and very friendly. The King Prawn Panang and Crispy Sea Bass were two of our favourite dishes. Really enjoyed the visit.

Cannot fault the food, Not an expert on Thai but loved every part of it. Definitely spicy but subtle spices and herbs too. I'd recommend it.

We have been here a couple of times over the years, not sure why we don't go more often. The set meal for two we had was great, it is fresh, tasty and the portions are just about right. Have already booked to go again soon.

We ordered a take away from O’Cha which was well below average. Overcooked/sloppy noodles and chicken, very bland and low quality ingredients. We phoned the manager to see if there was anything she could do and she was very rude and hung up on us. Its safe to say we won’t be returning again.

What an awful experience. Takeaway ordered. Starter and main all of terrible quality. Sloppy overcooked noodles and tough chicken. Called and explained we’d like a refund and the phone was put down on us.

We were a group of 12, that visited the restaurant last night. None of us had visited this hidden gem of a restaurant before so none of us knew what to expect. Anyway on arrival we were greeted with a smile and friendly welcome. We all had starters and mains. The starters came out, I had the Tempura Prawns, they were delicious, if you like prawns I’d highly recommend. When ever I have Thai food I always go for a Pad Thai but decided I was going to try something else and I really wasn’t disappointed, I had a number 49 (added a picture of the dish from the menu) from the main menu with the Jasmine rice cooked in coconut milk. Both the rice and the main were so tasty, I’m so pleased I decided to choose something different. We’ll definitely be returning and also getting a take away to share with the family. The whole group walked away saying how great the food was we were definitely not disappointed.

This place has been round for a while but never got round to going until now. Such a shame I’ve only just gone as I definitely would have been several times based on the meal I had last night. We went for the first time tonight and had a great meal. We chose a set menu so we could experience a range of dishes. Each was delicious, fresh and tasty. Would recommend this restaurant, the service is good and the ambience is cosy and relaxed. Cant wait to go again.

UNFORTUNATELY CANT GIVE NO STARS Absolutely disgusting service and complete lack of ownership on incorrect food FOR A Special diet request. IM AN EX CHEF .We ordered a Thai green curry number 26 with no capsicum pepper (Highly allergic) and number 46 gai pad prik Khing. Plain egg noodles and jasmine coconut rice. Not like it was an awkward order. We were told 40 mins to collect time ,all good so far. We get there 35 mins later, my partner goes into the shop for collection and is left standing there for 10 mins before she is seen too. She has already noticed the multiple bags of food on a table in front of her for collections. As my partner gave her name for our order the young girl behind the counter said yep …. My partner waited a few mins and asked if we could have our order ,she pointed to one of said bags on the tables in front of her (been stood in the shop now ten ish minutes with the young obviously very inexperienced girl at the counter. THEN WE GOT home.THAI GREEN CURRY FULL OF GREEN PEPPER HIGHLY ALLERGIC coconut rice stone cold not even tepid. Plain egg noodles Luke warm at very best.I of course called the shop to explain that I requested no pepper as I’m allergic and it’s full of them also my rice is stone cold as was the noodles. The young girl on the counter I assume was the one who was now answering my call I asked to speak with the owner as It was not the young girls fault it was the person who made it .We heard her talking to “an” owner in the back ground with the Said “an” owner in the back ground refusing to take the call instead telling this poor young girl to deal with it .When I got to saying the the Thai green curry was not only inedible but also highly dangerous for me to eat, the cold sides that had been sent , Mid sentence we heard he owner whisper to her ,and the phone was put down on me!! No sorry or can make it again or maybe a part refund. NO NOTHING. How dare you as supposedly professional business treat your now none loyal customers . You nearly poison someone and when they call you to explain your mistakes you get a very undertrained, inexperienced young girl to deal with it . Ps I recorded the whole complaint telephone call and can prove I was polite and courteous throughout the whole interaction It’s as plain as day your attitude towards complaints of your mistakes is to disregard them Next time I suggest YOU deal with YOUR complaints and mistakes.I expect a reply please ,to address my comments. 21st October STILL WAITING FOR ANY KIND OF RESPONSE

Lovely food and great welcoming friendly staff

Service was friendly, but one of our party got the wrong meal, and my dish was quite disappointing. Krapao is one of my favourite Thai dishes, but this was watery, not spicy, and I couldn't taste the holy basil. Pretty sure it should be quite dry/sticky, not in a runny sauce? I wish I could get food in Britain like actually in Thailand.... :( However, the soup was beautiful, and the coconut and sticky rices were lovely. My partner's salmon in panang was the star dish. If I go back I'll probably stick to the more "British" popular dishes of thai curry or pad thai.

This place was a very refreshing welcome to Macc, I'd been hoping we would get a better Thai restaurant for a while now (sorry to the other 2 Thai restaurants) but this place definitely ticked all the boxes, Tiny little restaurant but the atmosphere is...

First time buying food from here and it was disgusting. I never leave food and certainly never throw it away and I had a few bites of this and had to bin it. Their website says you get 15% off takeaway order but when you get there it's only actually 10%. Then is the middle of a pandemic when you're supposed to pay on card as much as possible I arrived to pick my food up and its either cash or card over £15 so the food that should have cost £13 something I had to pay £15 for anyway. I wouldn't mind this if is was nice but it was honestly the worst pad Thai I have ever eaten.

Attempted to order a takeaway over the phone this evening at 7:15 pm - have used this restaurant many times - this was first attempt to order a take away - staff answering unable to speak or understand what you are trying to order- after 15 mins they said they would call back but didn’t - so we drove to restaurant to see if we could order there - they told us there would be an hours wait for a take away ( or they couldn’t be bothered )- tried to secure a table but was told there was no tables available til 9:30 pm - it was now just before8 pm- gave up and went to Pizza express sadly ! Not helpful or at all what we are used to - seems they are too popular and getting complacent !

Working in Macclesfield I was looking for a tasty meal: and walked past.

It was lunchtime and not very busy. The spring rolls were greasy, mainly cabbage, the other starter was dry and we couldn't even tell it was.

This is a small family run restaurant which makes the food and service a very personal experience. Khan and Neeta produce beautiful fresh Thai food all well presented. They both have many years of experience cooking in top hotels in Thailand.

Great Real Thai authentic meal here with a cosy feel the restaurant is small and gets full quickly I would advise booking first over the phone.

Last time we visited was 3yrs ago. Once again we were not disappointed. We have visited Thailand many times and this food is as close to Thai food I have ever tasted in the UK.

We went last night and had fantastic meal, it knocks the socks off the macclesfield chilli banana which is ok but this is in another league. Service is impeccable, restaurant is exceptionally clean and the food perfect. The green Thai curry is top class. We will definitely be returning such a great find.

I used to go to this restaurant when it first opened. It used to be open at lunch times when it was first making it's name and the food is absolutely fantastic!
