Oodles 'N' Oodles in Manchester

Excellent, very friendly staff. We attended for iftar and celebrated a birthday there. Staff are very helpful, ready to attend with a smile. And of course, the food was amazing and cooked to perfection.

It was nice to receive some fresh fruit and dates for opening our fast today. Unfortunately the evening was marred by the serving of a main course dish without a warning that it was served in an extremely hot platter!!! I burnt the tip of my pinkie finger and when I asked for some assistance from the head by asking for some treatment gel for burns he said they didn't have any!! I'm sure that is probably a health and safety commission as I'm sure there is a risk of burns for the chefs and other staff.

Food was excellent, as was service. Really interesting feel to the restaurant with a blossom tree growing right in the middle of it all.

Th ed service was quick and very friendly. However, the food was a bit like Nandos up market. Veneration was not good so on a busy day it would be to hot. But would go again.

Firstly, the food was outstanding, however that’s where it ends. The waiters did not have a clue about any of the menu, and the food took forever to arrive, and when it did arrive, one of our guests did not get his meal until we had all finished. My dish arrived with the wrong Meat however, they did replace it. Excellent decor, but overall let down by Service and Mgt.

This place looks great but the food really isn’t all that. Quite expensive for what you get. Much better alternatives on wilmslow road. EDIT 3 YEARS LATER: Food was average honestly my mum makes a better chicken steak. We came for iftaar but ended up eating closer to Sehri time. Was forced to come back by a few brothers - never again.

Asslamoalikum, hope everyone doing well. I have been here in hsp for my nephew and one day I came here for food and it was so delicious. But today I will tell you one very imp thing of my life. It was my roza and I was very late ..I don't have anything to eat even to drink..my roza aftar time was 6:10 and it was my 1st roza..the person in your restaurant gave me a full plate of fruits ..and tbh he made me cry..he's like my own brother and I really appreciate his effort..even though we don't know each other but he helped me I definitely say allah helped me allhamdullaih. So from that day till now I pray for him . May Allah pak bless everyone to help eachother 🙏🏼 ♥️

No vegatarian options, when they did manage to bring me a sweet n sour stir fry it was awful! It tasted of burned under cooked spices. My friends meal was awful to. Its the first and last time in this place.

Foods are not bad. The blackbean was the only dish that was a little overpowering. The rest was decent. My only disappointment was that they only seemed to sell Coca-Cola and Sprite with the exception of the mocktails. Considering I won't touch coke or Pepsi, drink options are limited.

An excess of wait staff, however was incredibly difficult to get our bill at the end of the night. Sat at an empty table for 20+ minutes, only to have to get up and find someone so we could pay.

Tasty delicious food and warm attentive staff. Lovely atmosphere and decor. Even though we were full, we made room for dessert!

Not what we thought at all. Either too spicy or bland choices. Flavours mixed up that didn't work. Beef was thin and chewy in the dish I had with noodles. Had to spit some out it was that bad. Not good value for money. Mocktails and staff are good though. Expected alot more from such a nice looking place.

I didn't have to wait long for a table or food, waiting staff were helpful and friendly. The food was really delicious (as always). Definitely find them consistent and the portion sizes/prices are very reasonable, will definitely go again. Could've been a bit warmer but it was freezing outside, plus having some kind of frosting on the window for a bit of privacy would be great. Adding a Tofu option for vegetarians would make the menu options 5*

Incredible birthday celebration at Oodles tonight! The staff, service and food were absolutely exceptional!!! They went above and beyond to make it a special night for our large group of 12 and we had the most wonderful night. Good table, quick service, delicious drinks. I could not have asked for more. The manager Umar checked on us regularly to ensure we were okay and all the staff were simply fantastic. Our whole group was impressed and we will certainly be back!

This review is for big John's burgers not the noodle bar next door. Amazing chicken burger and proper chippy chips,would highly recommend.

Went here with the Mrs and 3 year old daughter for late lunch yesterday, ordered beef chili fried rice for myself, the chicken popcorn & chips kids meal for daughter and the fried beef kway teow for the malaysian wife, and we had crispy chicken roll for starters. All dishes had more flavour than we had anticipated, the wife mentioned that the kway teow was as good as that from penang. My beef chili dish was spicy which I thoroughly enjoyed. and our daughter enjoyed her meal and parts of ours too. The portion sizes were better than expected and the proportions of beef and chicken in the dishes were great and not lacking. The Virgin mojito drink was sub-lime 😍 Total bill came just under £38 so quite happy with our visit to Oodles N’Oodles, and looking forward to visiting again to try other dishes. And finally, I felt the service was spot on, the waiters interacted just enough and in a friendly manner, and was not too much, as I was there with my family for us to enjoy the meal and not to be entertained more than that. For us the customer service here was perfect, and all food arrived fresh and just on time as it did not take long enough for us to wonder where our food was after placing the order. Only negative point for me, myself was that we got seated in a closed round table with fixed seating, and I sat right at the end and the table was pushing right up against my stomach. The wife and the daughter had no complaints. If I was slimmer then I really would have no complaints at all, and it has highlighted that I need to get back into the gym.

Great service, great affordable food and amazing mocktails!

Didn't find the food all that, the noodles aren't very nice and wouldn't go again, one time experience I'd say, three of us didn't enjoy our food. Only thing that were good were the starters which were dynamite prawns and the wings.

That was delicious ! I will come back. Nothing to complain about the service or the cuisine.

Gonna have to be a 2 star. I took my daughter and her friend. The food was bland, expensive and portions were small. Good milkshakes though, but then they were £5 each.

Delicious Noodles and excellent service.

Food was really lovely and worth the price , took a while to be able to order food and drinks and didn’t have a consistent waitress, wasn’t asked if the food was okay and had to go and ask someone for the bill.

Positives, the staff are really friendly and the restaurant is a great setting for photos. However, if you're a foodie, I would not recommend it. The food was very disappointing (went in a large group, so tasted quite a few dishes). Another negative was that they only let you pay for the bill with a maximum of three cards. So when out with a large group, this is not great! Also, be careful where you park. There are lots of permit only areas around the restaurant.

Would not go for free… The general manager’s behaviour is dangerous. When we went, we had issues with payments a few days after we had dined. So we went back to discuss but the general manager was everything but helpful; condescending and told us there is nothing he can do. Even more, when we asked for a contact email, he told us to “go around the corner and it’s right there!” - absolutely poor service. Staff are alright. Tap water not available (as they do not serve alcohol) so you are forced to pay at least £2 for drinks. I know it’s not compulsory to have tap water when they don’t serve alcohol but is it really a time and place for cash grabs? Feels scammy. Food is too greasy and portions are small for £11 dish of noodles. Another thing about the General manager, I was nearby at another shop just a few days after trying to resolve our payment issues with him. We saw a homeless man walk by Oodles and teased at the staff through the windows. Instead of ignoring or getting police involved, the general manager went outside, ripped his neck tie out and was taunting the homeless to punch and fight him. Unprofessional and again, dangerous behaviour. The whole community there witnessed. Shame for the staff who do seem to be working hard and the interior of the restaurants which is nice. Would not go again. Don’t even want to walk past, the manager is truly unbelievable.

Nice little place to go, food was great

I placed an order for noodles with chicken and upon its arrival, I noticed a distinct lack of chicken in the dish. Consequently, I brought this discrepancy to the attention of the serving staff. In response, they promptly rectified the situation by providing additional chicken, which I found satisfactory.

Really enjoyed my meal here, had the Ribeye Steak and my wife had the Chicken Shaslic both were well presented and tasty! Staff were very polite and attentive.

Loved the food the flavour was exceptional! There is no food like this on Wimslow road. Menu is really big so caters for everyone’s needs. The service was really fast and for the value of money I would definitely recommend and go again !!

Oodles N'Oodles is a great fusion of far east ern and southern eastern flavours. Really delicious food that is served promptly and with flair. Portion sizes are just right for the price. Good choice of Mocktails and a unique atmosphere. Would definitely recommend it for large gatherings.

Staff are amazing, asked to be moved 3 times because of sun glaring into my eyes. Not a problem for them the food is amazing, always try something different each time and each time it's wonderful. Went yesterday and had lunchtime special, starter and main for 9.99 absolute bargain. My go to place for great food and lovely staff and service.

Hi, Recently me and my girlfriend went to oodles for dinner and food was very amazing and specially manager very calm and he take care of customers very well. Specially thanks to their waiters like Chirag. Love food and service. Thank you

Yesterday I went to Oodless Noodles for dinner with my friends and the ambience, service and management was epic. And I ordered Spicy Noodles and Dynamite Shrimp, Dynamite Shrimp was epic and Spicy Noodles was a bit spicy because it has Spicy in its name and I don't eat Spicy so much then I said to the manager give me this replacement then the manager said Without hesitation asked me what do you want, I liked shrimps, so I asked for shrimps, and within five minutes, they gave me shrimps. And I think this is the best restaurant in all of Winslow Road and very well managed by umair manager and khavar manager and service.

Off the bat service was pretty poor. Ordered the prawn dim sum and the oriental fish and chips. The dim sum was sticky and bland. The fish from the fish and chips was mushy and soggy, the batter just tasted like pure pepper. The chips were a nice texture but the sauce tasted like sick. We asked from tap water after already purchasing drinks and they said “they don’t do tap water”, pretty sure that’s illegal but alright. Overall a poor experience, prices weren’t bad and the milkshake was nice, wouldn’t recommend other than for the drinks. Place was clean and nicely decorated.

Food was cold, even when they bought it out the second time saying they've made it fresh but it had just been heated up slightly. No tap water option which is ridiculous, no explanation to why it can't be offered. We asked for no ice in our mojitos which is a pretty reasonable request but we were told thats not possible. Again no explanation as to why. Won't be visiting again, the food wasnt the greatest.

The beef in the noodles tastes like soap

Came here as a group of 4 just before Christmas. The atmosphere was cold and modern, other patrons were generally satisfied but not happy, from demeanour. I had the popcorn chicken for starter and noodles for main, both pictures attached. Also I shared a chicken fried rice with others. (Not pictured) The popcorn chicken was excellent, with a lovely sweet dipping sauce. The noodles on the other hand were horrendous. The noodles were undercooked, chewy and badly cooked. The meat within the noodles was not existent and overall it was a bad meal. The chicken in the chicken fried rice was off, and the rice was badly cooked, dare I say, reheated? The staff and our group had a language barrier which didn't help things, but they removed my noodles from the bill. They didn't understand what a VAT receipt was, so couldn't supply. Overall, it wasn't a great meal, nor experience. I would not recommend to others.

Not all that..food was just spicy no flavour .

Can have no complaints. The service was fast and all the workers had good etiquette. The food was great, we had the chicken dumplings and spicy chicken noodles. The star of the show however was the dynamite shrimp, fantastic. Good restaurant we will be returning.

Probably one of the worst restaurant experiences in quite sometime. 3 mains dishes ordered for a family meal out along with a side of mash for my 7 month old. The first main dish and the side arrived 10 minutes before the rest. When asked the waitress she advised that they serve food this way and they don’t bring the food out together. She then called over the manager and and another waitress who advised that their policy is bring the food out as it is cooked irrespective of time between. What makes it even worse is while you’re eating the waiting staff pace up and down past you. Food was OK but AWFUL experience. Probably worth going elsewhere.

We were visiting Manchester just for a few days and came across this restaurant. When we walked in, the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The food was great quality and was delicious! It came out quickly and was nice and hot. The only thing that wasn’t made very clearly on website that they didn’t serve any alcohol and would of nice to be told clearly before. Overall, I would recommend if people are looking for a more of a local restaurant serving great food.

Attended 30/12/23 Food was spilled infront of my table by a couple of waiters (very clumsy and unprofessional) I ordered salmon which was over cooked. Ordered two mocktails one of which was more than half filled with ice and not much juice. We raised our concern to the waitress who said the wrong ice was used but then proceeded to serving other customers and left this unresolved. We then spoke to the manager who rudely said we should’ve asked for less ice and said he would only assist us if the taste was not good. Poor service, management skills and quality of food overall. I will not be returning again.

Myself, my wife and my 1 yr old visited for dinner between Christmas and new years. The atmosphere was very fun and the decor made the restaurant feel really high quality. Everything was in good condition and the plates and cutlery all matched up as well. We ordered chicken and prawn dim sum, meegoreng, sambal fried rice and dynamite shrimp. Everything was well portioned and tasted fresh. I really enjoyed the meegoreng and dim sum. The dynamite shrimp was great as well. I wouldnt buy the sambal fried rice again as i found it lacked flavour but it wasnt bad, just needed some more oomph. Total price was £59 and that was with 1 kids meal and a large bottle of water as well. I over ordered as i noticed how cheap it was. If i was on a budget i could have made the meal around £40. The service was fantastic, staff were very attentive and always served with a smile. They made the meal as good as it was.

i went alongside some friends for her 18th- friendly waiters who were patient whilst we ordered! the food is amazing, selection ranging from noodles, to rice, to burgers😄 (food was also served promptly and was very nice) good music & beautiful decor!! my friend is also a vegetarian so it was good for vegetarian options 👍

Very nice decor, very picturesque. Decent price and good portion size (except the beef burger, not worth it!!) Dynamite prawns were easily the best we had at the restaurant. Only 6 pieces though the bottom of the glass is filled with lettuce so it looks full Beef burger was very disappointing, looks tiny on the plate it’s served, cold bun, not even warmed or toasted, with a tiny beef patty. Similar to a rustler burger/school burger Crispy chicken rolls taste of nothing Chicken strips were mid Beef Kway Teow was ok, a little on the greasy side but enjoyable, slightly bland

The experience at Oodles Noodle in Manchester was a mix of delight and challenge. The starters were a fantastic introduction, exhibiting flavors that hinted at the culinary expertise of the kitchen. However, when it came to the main attraction—the noodles—I found them to be a tad too spicy for my taste. While some might relish the fiery kick, it was a bit overwhelming for my palate. The service, however, were commendable, adding a positive touch to the experience.

Food was decent, service terrible although they are over staffed. The toilets were shocking, we told staff when we arrived there’s a knife in the toilets and one hour later when we was leaving it was still there. If I had seen the toilets before being seated I would have never ordered any food. If the hygiene of the bathroom is that bad I can’t imagine what the back/kitchen looks like. Never again.

I didn't get a choice of where I would have liked to sit.we are both seniours and we were given a table right next to the serving hatch and payment desk. The whole restaurant was empty it wasn't like it was tht crowded. The food portion was a bit small. Fortunately for us we are not big eaters so we were satisfied. I ordered beef noodles and they were so spicy tht it was enough to burn your tongue thru I couldn't make out the actual taste. The beef was not tender as it should be for a dish like tht so didn't enjoy it however we has ordered their oriental fish and chips which was absolutely delicious wonderful worth going back for I would highly recommend the fish and chips worth every penny for what we paid. Their mochtails were overpriced and wouldn't want to order those again. Overhaul it is a nice place to go to with a lovely ambience and could be enjoyable if we could sit in a appropriate place.the service was very good 👍. And prices for food were good.

Was served by Nadia I think her name was I believe she was a polish or eastern European girl during Ramadan. Last Year. The Service was Excellent and food was wow. Me and my wife have been coming here since and have never been let down with a single meal. We love the chicken rolls and as somebody who doesn't overly enjoy shrimp Oodles Dynamite Shrimp is the best and one of the things I always look forward to eating. Keep up the good work guys. :)

Food was asked to be brought to table together. However everyone ate and then my steak came, and i sat eating alone. Not the best service, by the staff. I made a point of telling staff I was not happy but no manager came to discuss

I don't appreciate being lied to by management. The first time in history at any establishment, licenced or not, I've had tap water denied. Disgraceful. Being denied tap water because of "hygiene issues" makes you ask how they wash the salads, which i did. It's obviously a decision by management to increase spend per head at the cost of customer service. So we cancelled our drink orders and just ate the salty food.

Was lied to by management when wanting a mug of tap water to go with our alcohol free cocktails, starters and mains. Because of hygiene issues. I asked what they wash the salad in,it was obviously the water. It's because it increases the spend per head and in didn't appreciate being lied to by the dity manager. Shocking.

Very disappointed with the lack of customer service we received. Felt rushed, if you're closing soon then why take in people. Waiters kept hovering around waiting for us to leave and we were interrupted by the staff in the middle of our meal advising we must pay now as they want to do the banking. Definitely made me anxious to be here and not coming again, especially when you pay a lot of money and get this awful service.

I really enjoyed the meal here. It was as spicy as they promised, the decor and atmosphere was dope, and waiters were of their best behaviour, lol. I went with my friends and I can tell you we enjoyed having a good meal without breaking the bank.

Aesthetically a very pleasing place. Doesn't make sense that the food comes out sporadically as some are left waiting whilst others are almost finished. The standard of food/service isn't consistent in its quality.

The restaurant is a really aesthetically pleasing place and the food fills you up fast and is really delicious and cooked well, the building is a nice temperature and the tables and chairs and sofas are clean so is the cutlery.

Food was ok but nothing special. We all ordered drinks but they refused to give my son a glass of tap water, apparently it’s their policy to not give tap water. Well, they lost out on about £20 as we changed our drinks from mocktails to fizzy water. Had we not been there with friends I would have left. What a ridiculous policy to have 😡 We will not be returning.

Amazing dishes with so many options, loved the wok chow mein noodles and the dynamite chicken. The restaurant is beautiful and staff were kind. The service was very fast, definitely recommend.

The food is nice but they don’t serve tap water. Also, with the spicy dishes they informed us that “it’s too spicy”. We said that we like spice and we would like to order it and we were discouraged. My friend ordered it anyway and when it came it was not that spicy at all, maybe nandos medium. Seemed a bit prejudice to assume that because we are white we wouldn’t be able to handle the spice. But the food was nice.

I have worked here for a couple of days and never received a payment. Rude manager won’t reply and kept me hanging it has been 2 months. Not fair at all!
