Turtle Bay in Manchester

Food was ok, as was the service. Pleasant enough place, drinks are pre-bought & paid for by the punters at a bar & not with the meal??? Odd set up really. Probably wouldnt go again but gave it a try.

Its our first time to visit this restaurant and Zeeshan made our dining experience memorable, recommended few delicious desi dishes, friendly and made us feel at home. Thank you Zeeshan and will definitely recommend this restaurant and will come back again.

Amazing, used to go the East Z East on Princess St which was great but this is the next level. Fabulous service, great food and the people are so lovely, it made the whole experience the best. Can't say a bad thing about our whole evening.kay was Amazing Just go!

Celebrated my Sons 16th Birthday last night , we was treated so well by all the staff nothing was too much trouble for them and they made sure that we had the best meal and experiences , Our waiter was Waz he looked after us and the barman was lovely toio,We enjoyed the food and we all asked for it to be made to different spice levels and they did that for us , Can’t Thankyou all enough for making my sons sweet sixteen special all of our guest loved it too Thankyou 🙏, We will be back soon 🙏

I had a lovely meal at Easyzeast, the staff were very personable and attentive and they even made our medium spiced curries hotter on request! They explained that they were going to cook it with in an 'Asian fusion' style with an added kick and classic Asian style spices etc. Our waiter Waseem was very knowledgeable, passionate and attentive and we had an excellent night!

Came here for iftar and it was absolutely spot on. Excellent food and great service, Zeeshan took care of us and made sure we had a great time. We ordered the mix starter for two which was very tasty, i highly recommend. For main we had the chicken massala desi which was also excellent and had a unique blend of flavours. Highly recommend this place will definitely be back.

Lovely food and great service for our group of 12

We went for lunch when we visited Manchester and were very well looked after. The staff were great and the food was really good. From the extensive pickle tray with the popadoms to the King Prawn starter and the main course of Lamb Nihari all dishes were top quality. In addition, the restaurant itself is very modern and slick looking and as someone loves Indian food I would definitely recommend this place.

Tasty Indian cooking at its best. A group of 12 of us turned up on spec and were welcomed in and quickly shown to our table. The food and service were great, despite being a large group. The seafood balti was fantastic - a lovely dry spicy curry with onions and green peppers. Not a trace of highly-colour sweet gravy so often seen in many restaurants. Highly recommend! It was one of the best dishes I have had in a long time. With drinks, it came to £25 a head so good value for what we all ordered.

Want to dress up? But want to go to curry spot that hits spot? This place I do recommend! Located centrally in Manchester. The place is well laid out, clean and spacious. The food was super nice, I'd recommend there chicken tikkas. They were some of the best chicken tikka I've had. Service was good, nice, friendly, welcoming staff. Overall a good night and experience here.

Zeeshan was awesome, attentive and the service was excellent. The food is delicious and reasonably priced 😊 Zeeshan, checked in to see how everything was going and went out of his way to rustle up a lovely cup of tea at the end. Definitely recommend East is East.

One of the WORST Currys we have ever had!!! 😳🤢 Very bland,no taste to the sauce atall,more Oil than anything,meat was ok. Ordered Veg pillau rice...all it was,was plain rice with mixed FROZEN vegetables mixed in 🙈🤦‍♀️..never had anything like it,totally different to any Indian curry we have had,and its by far better in North wales!... £96+ spent on 4ppl and Not worth the £££ sorry. Very disappointed !!

KAY is amazing A true champion at his job! We have been going to this restaurant for many many many years and we went back after a little while of not having been and he remembered every single one of us The food in here is absolutely phenomenal all fresh and tastes incredible bookcase service is like no other I’ve ever had. He really makes your visit at this restaurant.

Last went about 3 years ago and wasn’t too sure what to expect this time around and was a bit skeptical (hoping it met last times standards) everything was on point, from the food, service and atmosphere. Came here for a meal with my friends and we had a lovely experience. This place was very busy for Monday night, we was taken downstairs to our table, and the waiter came over and gave us the menus and then took our order. The food was lovely. Had a really lovely meal with the family. Both the food and the service were excellent. The chief waiter was really welcoming and recommended some excellent dishes to try - we had the traditional Punjabi Chicken Massala Desi. Up there with the very best Indian food I’ve had - highly recommended!

Zeshan was great! Really enjoyed the food

Genuinely the worst curry I've ever ordered. Rock hard pieces of chicken tikka. Naan, roti, lamb all tastesless. Pakora was just about fine. It did come with a extremely woeful side salad containing some shredded onion a tiny piece of cucumber and a massive slice of lemon, looks like it had already been eaten.

Visited the restaurant for the 1st time with my husband on Valentines day. The place looked lovely and was decorated with red balloons which made it a bit special. The food was really good, we had a starter for 2 which had samosas, fish, chicken and lamb. Then I had a mixed grill which was ample and I couldn't eat it all. And my husband had chicken biryani, which was lovely and also more than enough. I think we could have asked to take home what was left if we wanted, as we saw others doing so, but we didn't as we were staying in a hotel. We were waited on by Kay, who was really friendly and chatty, making sure we were happy. A really good experience had by us both.

when I walked in this place was really busy. Thought we won’t get a table we sat at the bar and had a few cocktails. Let me tell you one of the best cocktails that we’ve had in Manchester. What a lovely meal tonight , one of the best places for Indian food, Kay is absolutely brilliant we had the Chana masala and it was excellent. My brother always likes the chicken masala Desi and his favourite lamb chops the best in Manchester. ❤️❤️

This place Is HEAVING on Friday night!!!, especially on valentines 💘. The atmosphere was unreal, in the bar lounge upstairs we had a few cocktails, even though it was busy we was seated quickly, OMG what a huge restaurant, lovely decor, The staff are amazing, funny. Chach served us hes sick 🍺. Kay Is the Guy ;) The food came out quick, and came out piping hot, compared to how busy they were. Loved it 🥰

Staying at the Travelodge and was recommended from the receptionist what can I say? What a fantastic restaurant from start to finish the service was unbelievable and the food was amazing for starters. I had the lamb chops. What can I say? Had a lovely meal here; best pickle tray in the business with 8 choices for £3.50. Happy hour is from 5 till 7, and is 2 for 1 cocktails Zeeshan was a great waiter, communicated well with us, and let us delay our food til we were ready. Will happily come back soon

Nearly overlooked this restaurant as thought it was just a takeaway from the website, looks a bit nightclub ish as we approached from the road, but much nicer as you walk to the river side, was warmly greeted and sat downstairs next to the window, only negative is it was a bit cold with a noticeable draft. Wasn't too busy and we had poppadoms within 5 minutes, sides were not just the normal 3 but extras like a whole plum side dish, all very nice. Mains came within 5 minutes of finishing popadoms, (didn't order starters) there was unexpected lemon slice on our potatoe dish which I am allergic too but the server immediately apologised and offer to replace it. That replacement arrived before I had even plated my Tandori mixed grill! Well there mixed grill, what can I say the lamb chops were the best I have ever had in an Indian themed restaurant!! Would return JUST to have these! Was a suprise to be offered fries with my main but surprisingly did complement the dish! Our server Zeeshan was very attentive and came to chat at the end giving us suggestions of other things on their menu for next time. Gave us a complimentary traditional pudding to try too! Update: Traditional hot carrot cake and ice cream to share, as I am not a lover of carrots I was suprised to find it was actually sweet and not really 'carroty' at all - very nice in fact. Last word: THOSE LAMB CHOPS, THE BEST! Will be coming up fron Surrey regularly with work so idea as only 4 minutes from our hotel suite.

Been coming to EzE for many years and its always been top notch. Always greated by the manager Kay & lots of other staff, feel very welcome and they can't do enough for you!! The food is always outstanding and consistent! We have a great relationship with Kay who always takes time (even in busy hours) to come and greet us and have a chat with us!
