when I walked in this place was really busy. Thought we won’t get a table we sat at the bar and had a few cocktails. Let me tell you one of the best cocktails that we’ve had in Manchester. What a lovely meal tonight , one of the best places for Indian food, Kay is absolutely brilliant we had the Chana masala and it was excellent. My brother always likes the chicken masala Desi and his favourite lamb chops the best in Manchester. ❤️❤️

This place Is HEAVING on Friday night!!!, especially on valentines 💘. The atmosphere was unreal, in the bar lounge upstairs we had a few cocktails, even though it was busy we was seated quickly, OMG what a huge restaurant, lovely decor, The staff are amazing, funny. Chach served us hes sick 🍺. Kay Is the Guy ;) The food came out quick, and came out piping hot, compared to how busy they were. Loved it 🥰

Staying at the Travelodge and was recommended from the receptionist what can I say? What a fantastic restaurant from start to finish the service was unbelievable and the food was amazing for starters. I had the lamb chops. What can I say? One of the best ones I’ve had and the main course I had the lamb biryani One word fantastic👌 The gentleman called Kay Took our order and what a lovely guy helped us with a menu ordered two bottles of wine and let me tell you they were very nice definitely will be back 🙏🙏🙏

Had a lovely meal here; best pickle tray in the business with 8 choices for £3.50. Happy hour is from 5 till 7, and is 2 for 1 cocktails Zeeshan was a great waiter, communicated well with us, and let us delay our food til we were ready. Will happily come back soon

Zeeshan was amazing, best service and food was amazing.

Nearly overlooked this restaurant as thought it was just a takeaway from the website, looks a bit nightclub ish as we approached from the road, but much nicer as you walk to the river side, was warmly greeted and sat downstairs next to the window, only negative is it was a bit cold with a noticeable draft. Wasn't too busy and we had poppadoms within 5 minutes, sides were not just the normal 3 but extras like a whole plum side dish, all very nice. Mains came within 5 minutes of finishing popadoms, (didn't order starters) there was unexpected lemon slice on our potatoe dish which I am allergic too but the server immediately apologised and offer to replace it. That replacement arrived before I had even plated my Tandori mixed grill! Well there mixed grill, what can I say the lamb chops were the best I have ever had in an Indian themed restaurant!! Would return JUST to have these! Was a suprise to be offered fries with my main but surprisingly did complement the dish! Our server Zeeshan was very attentive and came to chat at the end giving us suggestions of other things on their menu for next time. Gave us a complimentary traditional pudding to try too! Update: Traditional hot carrot cake and ice cream to share, as I am not a lover of carrots I was suprised to find it was actually sweet and not really 'carroty' at all - very nice in fact. Last word: THOSE LAMB CHOPS, THE BEST! Will be coming up fron Surrey regularly with work so idea as only 4 minutes from our hotel suite.

Been coming to EzE for many years and its always been top notch. Always greated by the manager Kay & lots of other staff, feel very welcome and they can't do enough for you!! The food is always outstanding and consistent! We have a great relationship with Kay who always takes time (even in busy hours) to come and greet us and have a chat with us! One of the very best restaurants we have ever been to and ill always be a loyal customer! Thanks guys!

Definitely a must-try for anyone who loves a comforting, flavorful meal. I’ll be ordering it again! And the service is unbelievable compared to how busy they were on a Tuesday. Came here on Saturday night with some friends and had to bring my husband back today absolutely fantastic he loved the food, specially the chicken masala Desi off the bone and I had the chicken madras absolutely fantastic and The service from muneeb and Mizan was brilliant they were so friendly 👍🏻👍🏻

We went as a group of 10 as a reunion of sorts with booking for lunch though it wasn’t busy. The food was good, especially the karahi chicken and butter chicken but service staff attitude to us wasn’t great. It could have been a recurring event but everyone felt the service could be have been better and voted against this place. We felt the naan wasn’t hot either. Mix grill and tandoori chicken is good, while ideal for 2-3 people. Comes with good quantity chips or a single portion of rice. The pickles option is quite grand and has enough to be shared between 3-4 people.

We got there early prior to seeing Peter Kay at the arena, so it was a little quiet but got busier prior to leaving. We were seated and got a pickel tray. It was obviously a used one as there were half eaten pots. They did eventually get a fresh one. We ordered our food, 2 min later we forgot to order onion bargies so asked for these to be added although never came but got an extra rice. I Dint get charged for this, though. The restaurant was great and couldn't fault the food it was lovely and would go back when in the area. We did go through a 5 min period where 3 staff members came to our table 4 to 5 times to ask if everything was OK. I felt we were being rushed a little. Although some moaning, just being honest and our overall experience was great and food was great, I would recommend.

Another cracking night out! We were a large group but service and food was excellent as always. Love the pops and dips, delicious. The garlic chilli lamb (or chicken) is always a reliable choice although the menu is expansive with plenty of options. Kay, Isha and the staff were very helpful and friendly as always, the mango lassi went down a treat too ;)

Ordered multiple times on Ubereats, the food has always been divine and delicious. However, I decided to walk into the restaurant after work today to takeaway my favourite butter chicken and Bombay aloo, however the price did not match what I’ve typically paid for online (£10.95 butter chicken and £4.95 Bombay aloo), I got charged £21 today 8th Feb for just Bombay potato and butter chicken which should’ve totalled £15.9 for takeaway. This is really disappointing as I really love the food but I felt scammed after today. Maybe it’s a mistake, but still really disappointing.

This place is absolutely amazing. The vibe was buzzing with people all enjoying the vibe I have had some lamb chops in my time but these were the best I have ever had, all the meals we had and the drinks were prepared with such care and then served with the best hospitality I have ever seen, this is the place to be and come to when in Manchester, come see Kay and he will take care of you with the best team. I cannot recommend this place enough such a great atmosphere with beautiful people. Can’t wait to come back for more chops

We visited eastZeast last night after watching Peter Kay at the AO Arena. First thing we were drawn to, was how lovely the decor and ambience was. The staff were friendly and incredibly helpful and chatty. The service was very fast and the meal itself was out of this world. It is definitely up there with one of the nicest curries we have ever had. The flavours were incredible and the meal was a perfect end to a brilliant day. Thank you

After a show in Manchester we came across East is east Absolutely fantastic food and the service Kay waited on our table he was bubbly and pleasant to talk to advised us On any food requirements. Atmosphere in the restaurant was dull. Toilets were disgusting dirty. Our food was not good. No sauce on curry very dry chicken. Service from waiters they were quite abrupt to be honest. Will not go again.

We visited as a group of 16 for my mum and sister in laws birthday and had a fantastic time. The food was amazing, atmosphere was great but by far the highlight was the impeccable service from brother Zeeshan. We were very well looked after and he is truly a credit to the team at East Z East Riverside. 5 stars!
