This is my go to chinese takeaway, have never had a bad meal from here.

Nice typical einglish place, cheap and good warm food, the girl at the counter very nice with tourists.

I’m not sure why it’s rated so low! I had local takeaways that were rated a lot higher and I was constantly disappointed. I ordered from this place and I finally found local salt and pepper chips that great. The portions were big and the delivery driver was friendly.

spare ribs were very tough like yesterday's reheated...

When you decide to try a different chinese and instantly regret your discision. Its Not good at all I've litteraly just thrown 30 quid of food in the bin. Chips were raw and hard The fried rice was wet and stodgey. Chicken balls and crab claws were crap. Don't bother spending your money here there are much better places in the area that actually enjoy cooking food. I'd bet these guys have never even been to china 🤣🤣

Great portion sizes. Some food lacked flavour, like the sweet and sour chicken and the salt and pepper chips. It was there, but not promenant. The duck spring rolls arent worth the money as theyre mainly pastry, barely any filling in them. And the menu needs amending to show which food is actually spicy. I ordered my daughter the Mee Goreng noodles - the menu didn't show a chilli mark next to it and I've never had Mee Goreng before so I didn't know that it was a typical spicy dish - she couldn't eat it because it was crazy spicy, so that was a waste of money. Not sure I'd order from here again, but it was OK overall.

Afraid to say it but this is the worst Chinese we’ve had in a long time, not been here since before covid and it used be a fav… thought we would have a change as it could be delivered, lees chippy is 100% better and New dragon city in Gatley is the way to go ! Chicken and Mushrooms- just tastes of pure garlic , special chow mein- tasteless, sorry if this offends anyone but a review is a review, £30 treat for the dog !

First time there this evening. Sweet sour chicken and ginger spring onion king prawn was delicious! Big portion good prices! Highly recommend.

Worst Chinese i have ever had and the order was wrong

Was waiting nearly an hour for the food. I ordered a spring roll. I open the box and there was a huge spring roll in there. I was not expecting that. Soft noodles were quite greasy. And there was more mushrooms in my dish than prawns.

Best fish n chips had in a long time, 2 days in a row it was that good, already recommended to neighbours 👌

Hadn't been to this place in years and whilst passing on my way home I caught a whiff of goodness through the car window. I had to try the special fried rice, curry and prawn toast last night as a treat. This is my number 1 takeaway for food now. The prawn toast was thicker than I've had at other places and was freshly cooked, really nice with the sweet dip. The special fried rice is special and even scrumier with the curry sauce. Massive portion in a container that is microwavable and recyclable. Just finished the heated up left overs..very happy customer 👌

Nice enough food but very expensive just for 2 people.

Just been in for some fish and chips Honestly the best fish and chips I’ve had ! perfect in every way the curry sauce the chips everything about it beautiful.

I’ve ordered from here numerous times and always had a fantastic meal but ordered the char Sui pork and cashew nuts and it’s was lacking flavour and was actually pretty bland everything else however in the order was 100% as usual maybe just a blimp

I ordered hot and sour soup. I swear the soup tasted of off water, not taste to it at all and just hot with chilli. I had taste if it and threw the rest in the bin. I also ordered the duck pancakes. The duck shredded in a box was awful too. Dry, scrag end if the meat nothing substantial at all. Very disappointed. I've ordered from here for years but think I'll be ordering else where from now on.

Just Vile - cannot even describe how disgusting it was - so sorry - they need to sort it out as even the complimentary prawn crackers were stale!

Phoned up for delivery service & will do again as we received excellent food & was not kept waiting long at all. Not greasy & so perfectly cooked. Great portion sizes! Thai fried rice & Singapore vermicelli so tasty. (Shame no prawns were included in the dishes though) S&P chips & chicken were yummy too

Just tried this chippy since it has been taken over sausage wasn’t cooked so had to put in the air fryer and chips were ends so hard cut my mouth absolutely disgusting what a waste of money

I have ordered from here many times and hoping the issue with the meal I had last night was a one off. I asked for no garlic in the chicken with cashew nuts only to receive this with garlic and chilli peppers. Unfortunately the meal was unedable and given to someone who can eat garlic to which they said it was not up to its usual standards and far too spicy.

Since it changed ownership the prices of food has shot through the roof and the portion sizes is a lot smaller. Safe to say won't be going here again till they sort these 2 big issues out.

Very Disappointed Ordered from here quite afew times before however was really disappointed tonight. Was suppose to arrive by 8.15pm showed up at 9pm and was absolutely freezing cold and as if that wasn't bad enough the food quality was well below standard and tastes very rubbery and bland. Won't be ordering again, very let down.

Food was lovely hot but wasn't keen on the sweet sour pork very chewy but salt and pepper chicken and ribs in ok sauce were nice.

This is my usual Chinese takeaway, never had an issue with anything. Food is always spot on, hot, and amazing.

Duck was over cooked a waste of money

Tried this place once and I found it really nice

Horrible. Only good part of the meal was the drink ( vimto) Curry sauce stodgy hardly pourable Mixed starter just ew! Steamed dumplings needed to be cooked for longer. Rice dry Won’t ever order from here again. For the cost (£45) very disappointing!!

Delivery driver was rude! Not like the original guys....basically threw the food at me & went, no apology for being 45mins late.

Terrible food and the service was pretty bad too . Chicken in the curry was waterlogged. The fish I had was massively overcooked, the chips my dog wouldn't eat!

Chips curry gravy etc were fine. However the “crispy fried noodles” were an absolute joke. Never in all the takeaways I’ve ordered have I EVER seen anything like it, it was rock hard noodles that haven’t even been cooked at all no flavour on them nothing.I payed £4.20 for them. I could of got a 37p packet of noodles out my cupboard uncooked and shoved them on my plate. Because I’m not even lieing here. I had to put the “ crispy fried noodles” in a pan of hot water to cook them. What an embarrassment

Not being our usual takeaway we didnt know what to expect but massively surprised with the quality, It was FANTASTIC we had the chicken and sweetcorn soup, sweet and sour spare ribs and salt and pepper ribs.. Amazing its the test we always do from new places and hands down the best quality you are going to get ✨️.

Very rude staff!!! This restaurant was closed for some time and reopened, This restaurant now has new management and old owners have now moved to Top Chef just off portway at 19 Ruddpark Road, when entering the shop I noticed brand new signs outside the shop and was very intrigued as I used to go here all the time before closure, I then chose to stand and admire the new signs and was very rudely asked What are you looking at? I then told them I used to shop here all the time and noticed the new signs and thought they were metal signs but realised they were just new big stickers , the only response was what? hm ok, they then spoke to someone in their language and I was rushed out the shop , very unprofessional and is no way to treat a customer!!!

Massive generous portions. The crispy chilli chicken is so hard, great taste but just so hard. A but more chicken is needed inside so it’s not as hard.

It was delivered on time, but the length of time was an hour five minutes after placing order. A little faster would yield much higher marks.

He eat portion sizes. Curry sauce is a little tasteless however

Since takeover, The quality is really worth it. Yeah it’s a bit pricey but the food is worth every penny. Definitely Recommend

Ordered at 7:20pm, delivery time estimate was 8:10-8:35. Order arrived 8:50. Meaning we waited 1.5hrs for food. The place we ordered from was a 4minute drive from our address less than a mile away.

I’m a trained chef and wow. Give these people a medal! Best portions ever, best quality ever, authentic and tasty! :) congrats to anybody who finds this place :)

I've bought from here before, but they added too much salt in the salt and pepper chicken, prawns and pork and black bean sauce. Highly disappointing. We had to add our own fresh rice to counteract the high salt content. Couldn't even finish our food after spending so much.

Wing Hing continue to offer some of the best food and options of Eastern cuisine. I've used this takeaway for years, from my teens to my thirties and refuse to go elsewhere

Usually arrives earlier as only down the road but waited over an hour tonight for a small chippy order. Cold when arrived. Not impressed they have put the prices up! Unfortunately won’t be ordering from here again now it’s moved premise!
