If we could give minus stars, we would. - The service was horrendous - long waits for everything, no checks to see if everything was ok, a lot of time wasting considering this was a 90 minute experience. - The food was cold on arrival and the salmon was grey. Our orders were mixed up and items that should have been on my plate were on my husband’s. - The food and drink options on the bottomless brunch were minimal. 5 alcoholic drinks options but they only had the ingredients for 3 of them; Prosecco, mimosa and Bellini, which are essentially a variation of the same thing. - Catalogue of basic hospitality failures from the minute we walked through the door to the moment we left. Had it not have been a prepaid voucher, I would not have paid a penny. - This offer is sacrilege and I urge anyone to avoid this place at all costs. I don’t write reviews normally but felt the need to today. Absolute daylight robbery.

I did the cooking class experience and it was fabulous, the staff were brilliant and so so freindly. The food was fantastic as well.

We took part in a cooking course with the family. Was lovely to see how everything is homemade with fresh ingredients and a lot of love. Would 100% recommend and Amjud the owner is a lovely host as well as all the other talented chefs

We came to take part in the cooking experience & had a great time watching & being taught to make the traditional dishes … the staff at Zouk were very friendly & it was clear to see how they used quality fresh ingredients in the cooking . I would recommend this experience for anyone wanting to do an activity with friends , family or colleagues.

Nice restaurant with some great food options! Great for a date night. Some food was amazing some not so good! The beef burger was AMAZING, actually reminded me of In n Out burgers in the US. So good! Samosa chaat and seekh kebab were good too - the only let down was the dynamite shrimp which were DROWNING in the sauce, it was just too much and too overpowering. You can see in the photo how much sauce is left after we took out the shrimp. Just ease it up a little please! The apple juice tasted just like concentrate carton juice tbh which for £4 is shocking lol. Otherwise a lovely place for dinner!

Cons: The service was shocking. I Booked as a large group for my husbands 40th and left paying for items that were left at the end of the bill as staff were slow to calculate the bill. I was then told it was my fault as the host. I've never been in a restaurant where people were allowed to leave without paying. I had no idea what was on the bill as they only gave me the receipt once people had started leaving and said they will process my payment last. I spent 20mins trying to understand what was left to pay and who had paid as it was spread across 3 separate bills (instead of just one or per group as requested). Taking orders was slow and clunky, The Time from ordering to getting the food was ridiculously slow. By the time some people had finished starters and mains others hadn't even received their food. My husband and his nephew gave up on receiving their sides and just ate my left overs instead. It wasn't particularly busy, but the service was not very good. We wouldn't return. I wish I would of booked somewhere else. Pros: The food wasn't that bad

The sultan lamb is one of the finest things I’ve ever eaten! Update: I’ve been three more times since my first visit. The Sultan lamb was much reduced in quality next time, mainly because it wasn’t warm enough. The Ramadan buffet was very disorganised, with an unnecessarily long queue (15 minutes+ anytime you wanted something) which could be reduced by a simple different system (but it could be deliberately this way to stop people coming back for food multiple times). It is also all relatively expensive for what it is.

Fantastic Value and Vibes at Zouk Had a wonderful evening at Zouk thanks to their Pop & Pour promotion! For just £20, we enjoyed unlimited prosecco and a delicious canapés — such great value for a classy night out. The atmosphere was relaxed yet lively, perfect for catching up with friends or starting the weekend right. The prosecco was crisp and refreshing, and the canapés were beautifully presented and packed with flavour. Highly recommend if you're looking for an affordable but elegant drinking experience. Will definitely be back!

Came early afternoon. Quiet just how we like it. Food super tasty. Plenty of it too. They do 3 course special for £25. Desserts were fantastic. Would certainly come again and definitely recommend. Cocktails were great too

This is a Deliveroo review. Food is delicious, just some constructive feedback, I do not think the pickle tray should cost £5 I do think that is a bit steep. I think you should re-introduce the veggie side dish size options, and the paneer starter for the price, at least 4 pieces should be given

I ordered Roast Chicken with all the trappings: - Yorkshire puddings were cheap and flavourless. - Veg was ok, cooked al dente so 👌 - Gravy... I ordered the spicy, it was vile. It's seemed like gravy with chutney ? Unappetising and ugly tasting - Roast chicken is the star of the show for thsi review..roast chicken is supposed to have crispy skin. The skin on this tiny little baby chicken was fatty, chewy, and HAIRY!!!! We as diners want decent food for the price we pay. Not just served with anything, because the people you're serving do not know what is acceptable and what isn't. Actually, the only plus was the waiter asked if I wanted a refill of the gravy, ty, pleasant man. I really really wanted to enjoy this place. The Zouks team arrived on time, set up quickly, and delivered an absolutely stunning presentation. The food was amazing!!! fresh, flavourful, and beautifully arranged. Highly recommend for any corporate event; they’re reliable, efficient, and elevate the experience with both taste and style!

I had an incredible experience dining at ZOUK. From start to finish, everything was top-notch. The service was impeccable, staff were attentive, respectful, and went the extra mile to ensure cleanliness and comfort. The restaurant itself was spotless, including the bathrooms, which were very clean and well-maintained. I mean,what a place,mu children are mixed race so when we go for a carvery they can only have veg,I found zouk online and they absolutely loved the place,the mash potatoes were on point, this for my kids is a big thing as with the Yorkshire puddings, the mac and cheese was exquisite as my son is a very fussy eater when it come to mac and cheese, loved it,topping was the personal touch from the im guessing owner of establishment who made not just our table but all the tables feel welcome,the wait staff were very helpful and adjusted our order according to our specific needs(fussy kids) we travelled up from the midlands for Easter to York but made the pit stop on way back home to Zouk, top marks and will definitely be visiting again,

Don’t come here if you want good quality authentic Asian food. You could tell that the food did not get any attention from the chefs. The food was cold even though they were in the chafing dishes. No taste no flavour what so ever. The Raan roast was pathetic, unappealing to the eyes as well. The sauce of lamb curry seemed as if it was from a jar. These are the kind of dishes that are really hard to mess up even if you have minimal expertise. We tried our best to like something but it is as if every effort was made by the restaurant to not let that happen. Don’t want to even go towards the desserts. Umme Ali the Egyptian dessert had a raw flavour to it. People who know how to cook milk based hot desserts would know what this means. Probably taken out of the oven before it was cooked thoroughly. I almost spit it out and I respect my food. The whole environment was so sad and dark. The quality of this place has certainly gone down. Never going to come here again and will tell family and friends as well. Can’t even say that I liked one dish!! And definitely not worth £30 as Ramadan buffet.

I had brunch with my friends today and it was very festive vib there. Such a clean place with brilliant xmas decorations which makes us enjoy our brunch more. It made everyone happy and we felt having xmas dous. Food was good but service was slow as restaurants got busy after 12pm .we overall enjoyed it. I would highly recommend for those who looking to book a xmas dous with halal food options. Its a very festive vib there ,even 11am in the morning.

This Ramadan I ordered iftar from Zouk for a University revision session hosted by our society and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. The order was placed very last minute after a previous restaurant let us down, but this team stepped in with incredible professionalism and care. Their prompt response and attention to detail really set them apart. Throughout the process, their communication was clear and reassuring, ensuring that every detail was taken care of. They made every effort to accommodate all our dietary requirements, showing a high level of flexibility and customer care. The staff demonstrated an impressive level of understanding and efficiency, the staff, namely Deepanshu, were not only proactive in addressing our needs but also quick to offer solutions, making the entire arrangement stress-free. Their polite and respectful demeanor made the interaction feel friendly and genuine, adding a warm touch to the whole experience. The delivery was another memorable highlight of our evening. The meals were brought straight to our university for our convenience, arriving in a charming tuk tuk truck that added an authentic and delightful touch to the overall service. It was a unique delivery method that certainly left a lasting impression on everyone. We ordered their tiffin meal with each meal packed in individual containers and bags for our convenience and the food was absolutely delicious. Each person received a perfectly curated meal that included a starter, a serving of rice, fresh naan, two flavourful curries, chicken and lamb. The flavours were spot on, the portions generous, and every single dish was cooked to perfection. This impressive spread not only satisfied our appetites but also elevated our iftar dinner to a truly festive celebration. I along with the rest of the attendees want to thank the team again from the bottom of our hearts. I’ll definitely be going back and wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking great service, food, and a personal, authentic touch that makes every meal feel special.

Service was very good, staff were very attentative and friendly but place is let down by the standard of food. The lamb chops were very gristly with the fat not rendered down and the chicken karahi had bones in and the meat was quite tough. It was a subpar meal for £80 ( £7 of this was a service charge!) but we paid as the haloumi pakora and mocktail drinks were very nice and service was great. Sadly would not recommend or return.

Not sure about normal days but iftar definitely NOT WORTH IT. Long queues (believe it or not 30 minutes to get to the front) at buffet (as it was not organised) and mostly empty - not sure if this is the strategy but if it is then not worth it. Seekh kebab - looking at the photos - you can tell that they have seen better days. The price of £30 is much higher than competitors (well known buffets) by almost a third yet the service so poor. The location is so tiny for 4 or 5 dishes. To be fair to them, they do advertise the dishes in advance. I went there hoping that it is bit expensive so would be more organised. As you can see from wet plates, it was actually an hour after breaking of fast so I would have expected them to replenish constantly which was creating unnecessary delay where people waiting for dishes.

Absolutely disgusting food. Total rip off for £30 a head on buffet. Buffet at the cheapest £14.99 a head more choice of food and better quality. And have the cheek to try and slap a service charge on. Salad and food trays empty. The quality and taste of the food was vile..... Save your money people and don't fall for these food reviewers and tiktok adverts.... Not a single person in this place was happy with the service and food on the buffet. Ramadan Buffet Dinner at Zouks Walking into Zouks for their Ramadan buffet dinner was a pleasant experience—the ambiance was warm and inviting, and I appreciated being able to choose my own seating. However, while the setting set high expectations, the food itself did not quite deliver. The selection was quite limited, which was disappointing for a buffet. That said, the fresh salads were a highlight, with the kuchumber, corn salad, and bean salad standing out as vibrant and refreshing options. Starters were hit-and-miss. The samosas were delightfully crispy, but the Chicken 65 was a major letdown, leaving a harshly sour aftertaste. Given that curries were meant to be the highlight, they fell short—lacking the bold, authentic Asian flavors one would expect, seemingly toned down for a more Western palate. The chicken biryani was similarly underwhelming, with barely any chicken and a lack of depth in its seasoning. However, the chicken seekh kebabs were juicy and flavorful, standing out among the mains. The biggest disappointment was the corn soup, described as creamy but arriving watery and oddly flavored. On the flip side, the absolute star of the night was the lamb leg raan—perfectly cooked, served with herb-spiced roast potatoes, chantenay carrots, broccoli, and a spicy gravy that brought everything together beautifully. Desserts failed to impress. The mini dessert pots, including mango mousse, tiramisu, and panna cotta, all tasted the same—just plain cream with different toppings. They felt more like an uninspired, mass-produced selection you’d find at an all-inclusive resort rather than a thoughtfully curated dessert spread. The only saving grace was the vanilla milk cake and the bread and butter pudding, which at least tasted homemade and had some character. At £30 per person, the buffet felt overpriced given the lack of variety and inconsistent flavors. While a few dishes stood out, the overall experience wasn’t special enough to warrant a return visit. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t be back for this buffet.

Acabo de ir a su restaurante por algo de comida con la familia para celebrar mi 30 cumpleaños y decir que estoy decepcionado y horrorizado por el servicio en el que recibimos es una eufemismo. Fue terrible de principio a fin, Al llegar nos ignoraron de varios miembros del personal y luego vimos nuestra fiesta, así que nos instalamos. No creo haber visto sonreír a un miembro del personal y el servicio fue muy lento. Esperando por bebidas durante mucho tiempo, cuando finalmente las recibimos, literalmente habíamos tomado un sorbo antes de que un miembro grosero del personal se sentara a la mesa y nos entregara la factura y dijera que necesitamos la mesa ahora, en la que respondimos que las acabábamos de conseguir. Terminamos nuestras bebidas, luego un miembro del grupo fue al baño y a su regreso el grupo fue retirado de la mesa. No nos preguntaron cómo estaba la comida y al pedir un plato para 4 esperaba obtener más de 8 pequeñas papas asadas. Estoy verdaderamente insatisfecha con mi experiencia con usted y no creo que valga la pena lo que se pagó.
