Went for bottomless brunch- menu advertised is not what is offered and definitely not worth the price online. Got 4 drinks in 90 minutes and took around 15 minutes to pour a Prosecco. Terrible service, some food okay some cold coming out and place was swarming with flies all over the food. Will never return and would advise you not to!!

Been wanting to try the Sunday roast here for ages, and I’m sorry to say but it didn’t live up to the hype, especially not for the price. Don’t get me wrong, the food wasn’t terrible.. but I’ve had much nicer roast dinners in that price range. The restaurant itself is lovely and the staff were very attentive. The Platter for 2 is £60, comes with 3 meats, roast potatoes, Yorkshire puddings, broccoli/carrots and 2x gravy… if you want mash potato, cauliflower cheese, tenderstem broccoli or mac & cheese it’s extra £££. I’m a big fan of spice but it was a thumbs down from me for the spicy gravy. The tandorri mixed grill starter was very nice. The portion looked small when it arrived but it was surprisingly filling. Kids roast dinners are £12.50 and includes a soft drink.

Birthday meal with family , very disappointed, extremely overpriced food and drinks food quality below average, two Sunday dinners were sent back , potatoes and Yorkshire puddings were not fresh potatoes tasted like they had been cooked days ago , the 3 curry meals were edible but nothing special for the price had much better Indian/Pakistani food at half the price. Decor is looking tired and not particularly clean , to be fair Zouks took the meals away and remove them from the final bill , would not go again We are well travelled and eat south Asian food on a regular basis including in India and Pakistan ,

What an absolute horrendous evening from start to finish. I would never recommend to eat in this restaurant ever, Absolutely disgusting. And all extremely poorly. 😟

Went here for my sons birthday breakfast! The service was quite slow and the waitress looked a little flustered to be honest. She was very polite. But as there was only 3 tables seated (including ours) we seemed to wait a long time for our order to be taken and then another long wait to receive our food. However it was worth the wait. The French toast was the best I’ve ever tasted😍 we got the breakfast share platter. They put extra waffles on for my son which was massively appreciated and very thoughtful❤️. The venue itself is stunning inside. The entrance is beautifully lined with flowers. The kitchen area is open and impressive. And the decor is immaculate. We will definitely be visiting again for breakfast and will most likely go to try the dinner menu as well 👌🏽😁 Oh I’ll add that there is plenty paid parking right outside on the street. So you don’t have to walk far to enjoy the Zouk experience 👍🏽

Ordered the zouk roast platter for 2. When we sat down the 2 young lads next to us had ordered the same thing and within a few minutes of them starting their dinner, one lad had to run to the toilet to throw up. This was the first red flag. They informed staff it was due to the meat. Ours arrived within 10mins of us being there (a bit quick for lamb to be cooked) the beef was rock hard, the lamb although cooked fairly well was poorly presented with an inch of congealed residue on top. Disgusting. The yorkshire puddings were hard and only edible with heavy pourings of gravy. The spicy gravy was not at all impressive. Highlight was the veg. But im not a rabbit. Management should take a look at how much meat was thrown away from today, as were not the only table who complained. Would not recommend at all.

From what I heard from friends and family Zouk seemed like a really nice grill and south Asian restaurant. To an extent I think they’re right but it did disappoint me in some areas when I visited last week for my friends birthday dinner. They had a good variety of food and had many vegi options too. We ordered lamb biryani, karahi, chicken tikka and some others but those were the ones that stood out to me and tasted the best, so I would recommend ordering them. But I didn’t understand why the serving sizes were so small, ordering I thought we might have big plates that would easily feed 6-7 people since we were paying about 15 quid for each one but they came in an average sized plate that we had to share with all 6 of us with just one or 2 spoons. Additionally paying 4.50 for naan I thought it would be at least a basket with 2 or 3 but they only bought out one! But I will say that their mango lassi was very tasty! We then asked for a dessert menu, however I again felt uneasy when I saw the prices which the minimum were 9 pounds. And what was even more disappointing was how mediocre the desserts were! Unlike the food the desserts didn’t taste as good ( we ordered the fudge cake and the chocolate sundae) and was definitely not worth the price tag. I’d say if you are dining here and thinking of dessert maybe visit one of the dessert shops near by or even chaiwala. I thought the atmosphere of the place was very nice and presentable though, but overall I think you could find more affordable choices for south Asian dining or grill either on wilmslow road or in the city centre.

Portion size ridiculously small the food was pretty much bland the butter chicken was the only one with flavour that was ridiculously sweet told them about this no one took ownership just a small oh so sorry about this. Wont be returning again.

Good was good. I little more expensive than you would pay in Rusholme and not quite as tasty. Gave me acid for two days, not sure why.

What a wonderful and lovely brunch experience here! The options were vast and we really enjoyed the brunch mixed sharing platter. It’s a very beautiful venue, and we are really looking forward to coming here again to try the dinner options! Thank you so much.

A very nice restaurant with a good feel and ambiance. Good breakfast menu have both Asian and Continental options. The decor is impressive. Good srvice. Free orange juice as welcome drink at breakfast.

i’ve eaten here a few times and the food has always been exceptional we always come before going to see a show at the palace theatre and i can highly recommend the chicken handi! the staff are lovely, helpful and attentive especially shavran at our most recent visit

I had the mixed platter to share with my partner, and I can honestly say it was so worth it and cooked to perfection with all the flavours. We left feeling very satisfied and full. Also, the staff really took care of us and took the time to go out their way and make conversations with us, very friendly. We have come all the way from Birmingham for the weekend, and we already know we’ll be back again.

First went to zouk a few years ago, been many times since and never been disappointed. Amazing food and atmosphere, 10/10 service. 100% recommend

I recently visited Zouk Tea Bar & Grill for dinner but had to change our plans once we arrived. Instead of dining, we decided to just have coffee with friends. The staff was very accommodating and didn’t hesitate to let us move from the dining area to the bar. The coffee was great, and the overall ambiance was pleasant. It was a good experience overall. Looking forward to coming back for a full meal soon!

I’ve been going to Zouk for a number of years now. Unfortunately, the portion sizes have gone smaller and the prices have increased drastically. Don’t know what their method to the madness but it’s clearly not working as I’ve never seen them so quite at peak time on Eid Day.

So food tasted really nice like lamb dishes, Daal was nice, service was decent, abit noisy the atmosphere due to being busy, overall a decent place but why I given ZOUK a 3 star, when I ordered 2 portion of Sheek kebab and the price was £17.00(£8.50 each portion) I thought okay, let’s see the portion and they were tiny, like half the size of the kebabs in rusholme and the taste was average and nothing special so I was abit disappointed as it was my first time

First time visiting Zouk; I came here for lunch by myself as I was passing by. Such a lovely experience; the staff, the owner, the ambience was top tier. Coming from a small city in the US it’s hard to come by well done, delicious Pakistani food and this was the perfect end to my weekend trip in Manchester. Such a lovely experience and would definitely come back just for this restaurant!

I visited Zouk yesterday. I can't praise it enough, the food was amazing. The dips with the popadums were really fresh and tasty. The atmosphere was nice and the staff very friendly. Just quite simply a lovely place! Will definitely be going back. Visited again today for Sunday roast. Absolutely delicious roast and yummy desserts. The Manager came and had a chat with us, what a lovely guy who is very proud of his staff. The staff cannot do enough for you they are just great and go above abd beyond.

Don’t try you will be disappointed, I read the reviews there was so many negative but I decided to try and it was a mistake. All the food was cold the tea must be brought after meal but the brought the tea than the meal, the price was very high and at the end charged 10% extra on top of the bill, absolutely no way to go again like this kind of restaurant.

Anyone going to Zouk, go elsewhere. I am not one to ever complain but this has been by far the worst experience I have EVER had at a restaurant. I travelled 75 miles to get to the restaurant on a recommendation of a friend who went there when they first opened and said he loved it and would be a perfect place to have my evening meal on my Wedding Anniversary. I go online and made a reservation and specifically mentioned that its my Wedding Anniversary, to mention its my FIRST! We get there, a member of the staff greets us, I say to him we booked a table online hoping he will check the system and realise this is not just a regular meal for us. Didnt bother as it was a quite day and not many customers, the type of day you expect a better service then usual. However got shown to our table. No one comes to get our order for a long time until I waved at a lady working there who comes over and I say we are ready to order, she runs around looking for a tablet to order. Takes our order and I order the drinks SPECIFICALLY mentioning that the cocktails are to be the ones with cocktails in the clouds or whatever it is, mentioned this to her 3 times! Ordered our food. Drinks come and just standard drinks, I say to the chap who brought our drinks, thats not what I ordered. He simply replies “hm” and walks off, the food comes, stater chicken was undercooked, the meat was red and chewy, took pictures and would be happy to share. Asked to speak to a manager at the end to one of the staff, so called manager comes over, chap with a moustache. Told him everything, he then starts pulling faces as I am speaking which I found really disrespectful. He then simply says, okay and walks off. Food was very low quality for the prices. Experience was extremely poor and service was just not what you expect when you are spending over £90 for 2 people. Absolutely no apology and no acknowledgment, even charged us a “optional” service charge for which there was no service. Didn’t bother with the deserts and went elsewhere as the experience was that poor. Save your money and go next door to Etci, they know how to look after their customers. Really poor Zouk, already called my friend and told him not to ever bother and will make sure anyone that mentions Zouk to me I will be doing the same. Change your staff, change your food, change your service or simply close.

SERVICE CHARGE IS POCKETED BY MANAGEMENT!!! Food was good, no complaints, servers were excellent. But to find out that the service charge does nt go to the servers was absolutely disgusting, poor guys and girls run about and really contribute to the restraunt, and then what we would belive are there tips go straight to the managers, is disgusting!!! AVOID AVOID AVOID

Food was not bad, service was incredibly slow (considering it was very quiet) and staff were generally rude. Also very expensive, one of our party had a slice cake and 2 scoops of ice cream, totalling a whopping £16.50.

Honestly, the number one spot for any food outing, with the family, or for that date spot you have been looking for! I took the family to Zouk for the first time last year, and ever since then, it has become a weekend ritual. The food, the service, and the atmosphere make it the best place to be if you are in Manchester, and if you're from outside of Manchester, I cannot recommend enough to travel at least once to visit this exquisite cuisine. The grill dishes here are unbeatable when combined with the cocktails. What makes Zouk far superior to any other restaurant is the fact that it is Halal; they combine inclusivity with a high-quality, top-of-the-line menu that is perfect for all. Everyone should experience the amazing restaurant that is Zouk at least once in their life! Genuinely, cannot recommend more!

Was the best food I have had in a long time. Would highly recommend. Haven’t had a curry that good before since moving here. Very good staff and great service with speedy food and the naans were incredible. I will definitely return even thought I live 1.5 hours away.

The brunch was overall lovely however was not keen on the type of sausages accompanied with the breakfast. Also some of the music can get a bit annoying, but other than that it was a nice atmosphere.

I was very disappointed with the service Zouk provided. We pre-booked for 9.00 and ended up waiting in the cold despite this. We were told that everyone had pre-booked (it looked like they took on too many customers). When we finally did sit down, we had to wait 50 minutes before anyone took our order. We asked waiters multiple times to see to us but they blatantly ignored us! When we did catch their attention, they told us "5 minutes" which somehow turned into 50 minutes. >_< When the food came, it was very good and tasty. One starter was cold but at this point we really didn't care. We had fasted and waited so long! It would have been nice if they at least offered us drinks earlier. Anyway, that was the 2021 experience. I know Zouk aren't usually this bad as I've been going there for years. Hopefully the service will improve.

Came for my siblings birthday and zouks has improved a lot. Wanted to say thanks to sharavan our server, for making the experience good he was always checking to make sure we were okay and if we needed anything. The food tasted really good, highly recommend the lamb handi, and mango lassi. The portions are decent, had plenty left over to take home. Will definitely be coming back x

First time visiting zouk tea bar and grill for my sisters 40th birthday brunch… This whole place was a vibe the moment we stepped in!!! The ambience and atmosphere was warm, aesthetically pleasing and very inviting. All the food we ordered was delicious and presented to a very high standard and the service provided by shebhanghi was impeccable. Would highly recommend and will definitely be coming back soon xxx
