The food here was ABSOLUTELY amazing. It was the best food in my life, I highly recommend this restaurant if you're on a holiday, celebrating an occasion or anything really.

Not my first time at Zouks I love this place! It had amazing food such amazing flavours and seasoning, we came for the roast dinner and it was great! The service is so fast and swift, our waiter Chaitanya was so lovely and helpful along with all the other staff too! Will 100% be back again!

The restaurant itself was spotless, including the bathrooms, which were very clean and well-maintained. Even the toilet had heated seats, a lovely touch that made the whole experience feel extra thoughtful and luxurious. The food? Absolutely delicious. Full of flavor and beautifully presented. I left feeling very satisfied and impressed. If I’m ever back in Manchester, I’ll definitely be returning to ZOUK. We recently had one of our events catered by Zouk and I couldn’t recommend enough! The food tasted all amazing, as well as the mocktails, and everything looked just as good for pictures too! Amazing service, and really helpful staff! Will definitely be using them again soon

I mean,what a place,mu children are mixed race so when we go for a carvery they can only have veg,I found zouk online and they absolutely loved the place,the mash potatoes were on point, this for my kids is a big thing as with the Yorkshire puddings, the mac and cheese was exquisite as my son is a very fussy eater when it come to mac and cheese, loved it,topping was the personal touch from the im guessing owner of establishment who made not just our table but all the tables feel welcome,the wait staff were very helpful and adjusted our order according to our specific needs(fussy kids) we travelled up from the midlands for Easter to York but made the pit stop on way back home to Zouk, top marks and will definitely be visiting again,

The chef must of been flown in from heaven as this Sunday roast was heavenly and don’t even get me started about the Smoked Honeycomb Old Fashion. This place will be seeing much more of us two I can tell you that much

Don’t come here if you want good quality authentic Asian food. You could tell that the food did not get any attention from the chefs. The food was cold even though they were in the chafing dishes. No taste no flavour what so ever. The Raan roast was pathetic, unappealing to the eyes as well. The sauce of lamb curry seemed as if it was from a jar. These are the kind of dishes that are really hard to mess up even if you have minimal expertise. We tried our best to like something but it is as if every effort was made by the restaurant to not let that happen. Don’t want to even go towards the desserts. Umme Ali the Egyptian dessert had a raw flavour to it. People who know how to cook milk based hot desserts would know what this means. Probably taken out of the oven before it was cooked thoroughly. I almost spit it out and I respect my food. The whole environment was so sad and dark. The quality of this place has certainly gone down. Never going to come here again and will tell family and friends as well. Can’t even say that I liked one dish!! And definitely not worth £30 as Ramadan buffet.

This Ramadan I ordered iftar from Zouk for a University revision session hosted by our society and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. The order was placed very last minute after a previous restaurant let us down, but this team stepped in with incredible professionalism and care. Their prompt response and attention to detail really set them apart. Throughout the process, their communication was clear and reassuring, ensuring that every detail was taken care of. They made every effort to accommodate all our dietary requirements, showing a high level of flexibility and customer care. The staff demonstrated an impressive level of understanding and efficiency, the staff, namely Deepanshu, were not only proactive in addressing our needs but also quick to offer solutions, making the entire arrangement stress-free. Their polite and respectful demeanor made the interaction feel friendly and genuine, adding a warm touch to the whole experience. The delivery was another memorable highlight of our evening. The meals were brought straight to our university for our convenience, arriving in a charming tuk tuk truck that added an authentic and delightful touch to the overall service. It was a unique delivery method that certainly left a lasting impression on everyone. We ordered their tiffin meal with each meal packed in individual containers and bags for our convenience and the food was absolutely delicious. Each person received a perfectly curated meal that included a starter, a serving of rice, fresh naan, two flavourful curries, chicken and lamb. The flavours were spot on, the portions generous, and every single dish was cooked to perfection. This impressive spread not only satisfied our appetites but also elevated our iftar dinner to a truly festive celebration. I along with the rest of the attendees want to thank the team again from the bottom of our hearts. I’ll definitely be going back and wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking great service, food, and a personal, authentic touch that makes every meal feel special.

I had brunch with my friends today and it was very festive vib there. Such a clean place with brilliant xmas decorations which makes us enjoy our brunch more. It made everyone happy and we felt having xmas dous. Food was good but service was slow as restaurants got busy after 12pm .we overall enjoyed it. I would highly recommend for those who looking to book a xmas dous with halal food options. Its a very festive vib there ,even 11am in the morning.

Service was very good, staff were very attentative and friendly but place is let down by the standard of food. The lamb chops were very gristly with the fat not rendered down and the chicken karahi had bones in and the meat was quite tough. It was a subpar meal for £80 ( £7 of this was a service charge!) but we paid as the haloumi pakora and mocktail drinks were very nice and service was great. Sadly would not recommend or return.

Not sure about normal days but iftar definitely NOT WORTH IT. Long queues (believe it or not 30 minutes to get to the front) at buffet (as it was not organised) and mostly empty - not sure if this is the strategy but if it is then not worth it. Seekh kebab - looking at the photos - you can tell that they have seen better days. The price of £30 is much higher than competitors (well known buffets) by almost a third yet the service so poor. The location is so tiny for 4 or 5 dishes. To be fair to them, they do advertise the dishes in advance. I went there hoping that it is bit expensive so would be more organised. As you can see from wet plates, it was actually an hour after breaking of fast so I would have expected them to replenish constantly which was creating unnecessary delay where people waiting for dishes.

The staff were also very friendly and welcoming, which made the evening even better. Definitely recommend it for iftar!

Ramadan Buffet Dinner at Zouks Walking into Zouks for their Ramadan buffet dinner was a pleasant experience—the ambiance was warm and inviting, and I appreciated being able to choose my own seating. However, while the setting set high expectations, the food itself did not quite deliver. The selection was quite limited, which was disappointing for a buffet. That said, the fresh salads were a highlight, with the kuchumber, corn salad, and bean salad standing out as vibrant and refreshing options. Starters were hit-and-miss. The samosas were delightfully crispy, but the Chicken 65 was a major letdown, leaving a harshly sour aftertaste. Given that curries were meant to be the highlight, they fell short—lacking the bold, authentic Asian flavors one would expect, seemingly toned down for a more Western palate. The chicken biryani was similarly underwhelming, with barely any chicken and a lack of depth in its seasoning. However, the chicken seekh kebabs were juicy and flavorful, standing out among the mains. The biggest disappointment was the corn soup, described as creamy but arriving watery and oddly flavored. On the flip side, the absolute star of the night was the lamb leg raan—perfectly cooked, served with herb-spiced roast potatoes, chantenay carrots, broccoli, and a spicy gravy that brought everything together beautifully. Desserts failed to impress. The mini dessert pots, including mango mousse, tiramisu, and panna cotta, all tasted the same—just plain cream with different toppings. They felt more like an uninspired, mass-produced selection you’d find at an all-inclusive resort rather than a thoughtfully curated dessert spread. The only saving grace was the vanilla milk cake and the bread and butter pudding, which at least tasted homemade and had some character. At £30 per person, the buffet felt overpriced given the lack of variety and inconsistent flavors. While a few dishes stood out, the overall experience wasn’t special enough to warrant a return visit. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t be back for this buffet.

Iftar at £30 was not worth it at all. Nice salad but that’s it. It was more like a £12 buffet. They made no effort for people fasting. You couldn’t tell it was Ramadan at all.

Acabo de ir a su restaurante por algo de comida con la familia para celebrar mi 30 cumpleaños y decir que estoy decepcionado y horrorizado por el servicio en el que recibimos es una eufemismo. Fue terrible de principio a fin, Al llegar nos ignoraron de varios miembros del personal y luego vimos nuestra fiesta, así que nos instalamos. No creo haber visto sonreír a un miembro del personal y el servicio fue muy lento. Esperando por bebidas durante mucho tiempo, cuando finalmente las recibimos, literalmente habíamos tomado un sorbo antes de que un miembro grosero del personal se sentara a la mesa y nos entregara la factura y dijera que necesitamos la mesa ahora, en la que respondimos que las acabábamos de conseguir. Terminamos nuestras bebidas, luego un miembro del grupo fue al baño y a su regreso el grupo fue retirado de la mesa. No nos preguntaron cómo estaba la comida y al pedir un plato para 4 esperaba obtener más de 8 pequeñas papas asadas. Estoy verdaderamente insatisfecha con mi experiencia con usted y no creo que valga la pena lo que se pagó.

Visited this restaurant which looks absolutely stunning! Food tasted good however we really wanted the chicken roast which is what they are popular for but annoyingly you have to preorder 2 hours earlier which is really inconvenient for people who decide to pick a restaurant an hour before visiting or in our case have travelled from far and don’t get a chance to look at the menu until you arrive. Bbq Ribs tasted delicious but were unfortunately quite tough. Service was great and atmosphere was date nighty vibes but also perfect for families.

The food was okay, but don’t expect it to be the same as you see in the Instagram reels by food bloggers. It’s a really small spread in a congested area, and we were really disappointed. Not at all worth the £30.

I came here today for the iftar buffet and was a litter nervous seeing some of the reviews but honestly it was amazing, the food was awesome and I really love the chicken seekh kebabs and chilli chicken, and omg the desserts were awesome, the date pudding was one to try and the pistachio moose was my favourite. Thak you to the team working there, everyone was soo friendly and nice. Thanks for arranging these wonderful buffets, I'll be back for sure

Absolutely rude service from the manager, you pay £30 for iftar and they refuse to give you a takeaway box. If you don't finish your food they would rather put it in the bin than let you take it home. Wasteful and shameful in the month of ramadan. When I challenged this the manager said to only eat small amounts then. It's a buffet. And then on top of that they add a service charge. The audacity. Absolutely disgraceful. Was so excited to visit this restaurant with me and my friends for ifthaar (Ramadan) We chose the buffet option. Waited 15 mins for the food which was okay as we understood as it was busy. The menu had a wide selection which we were really looking forward to. However some of the food included on the menu were missing. Where were the seekh kebabs? And the desserts were shocking. Half the desserts listed on the menu weren’t even there! For £30 per head you’d expect a much better variety of food options. Me and my sister were also violently ill after eating the roast lamb. I spent all day puking up. To top it all off there was a 10% service charge added to our bill. We had no service throughout and had to call the staff to take away our used plates and to replace our cutlery. Overall the experience was shocking I would not recommend this place they literally just rob your money for such shocking food and service! I won’t be visiting again.

Deepanshu, who served us food was very kind and friendly - took care of us very well. Amjad, who is the owner went to each table himself and asked if everything was good with the food. The dishes lacked flavor, and some items tasted like they had been sitting out for hours. The presentation was uninspired, and it felt like the restaurant was cutting corners everywhere.

Rubbish selection for a buffet! It took 20mins to even get to the staters! £30per head for 5 dishes is abit awful!! Service was awful so asked for our service charge back but he told us to come back the next day for the refund strange! So in the end we told him to keep it! Wouldnt go again! Defo dont recommend!

We had a fantastic Indian cuisine cooking experience in a top spec restaurant with an amazing host and team of chefs. The red carpet was rolled out and enough couldn’t be done to make it a 10/10 experience. Highly recommended and will definitely be back. Thanks to all the Zouk team.

Came here for Mother’s Day expected to be celebrated Sunday roast beef as tasteless hair was found wrapped around the chicken put me straight away my daughters beef was very bloody thought that was odd considering it was child’s meal. The service was shocking the girl couldn’t speak English well and struggled to understand what I was asking for. It was very stressful to order considering there was other outstanding places offering good hospitality for Mother’s Day and I picked zouks to receive this service. The atmosphere is amazing but the food quality and taste I would give it 2 star waste of money really. Don’t bother speaking to a manger because all you get is am sorry.

The worst buffet we have ever had in terms of price as well as quality and taste of the food. A total chaos at the time of Iftar. All the cheap dishes l offered in the name of Iftar Buffet. No comparison with My Nawab and even Al-maida etc. At least, you get a better environment and a far more variety of dishes with proper authentic taste. Strongly NOT RECOMMENDED.

Avoid this place. Customer service is non existent. I booked for iftaar during the month of Ramadan but had to cancel unfortunately. I rang up more than 3 days before my booking to the restaurant and was told that I will be issued a refund. I continued to get emails and texts confirming my booking so I rang the restaurant again and they told me I am not eligible for a refund because they don’t give refunds on bookings. They have stolen my money so I would not recommend this place to anyone. The iftar buffet isn’t even all that it’s all just a hype. Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere if you’re planning on going here
