The staff were incredibly attentive and made our visit enjoyable from start to finish. I had a bit of trouble remembering what I ordered last time, so I showed one of the staff members a photo, and he was very informative. He helped me find it on the online menu and explained how to order, which made the whole process smooth. The food came out super fast, and every time we needed to change the paper or adjust the heat and fan on the barbecue, they were right there to help us without hesitation. The food itself was outstanding—delicious and marinated to perfection. My friends and I had a fantastic time, the experience of cooking our food on the BBQ in front of us was such a change from our usual dining experience but was so fun! and I can confidently say we will 100% be coming back (and with more people this time). As a student studying care and always exploring new dining experiences, I had the pleasure of visiting Bandibull Korean Restaurant with a friend yesterday night , and I am thoroughly impressed. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the bustling atmosphere of the restaurant. We initially expected a long wait, given how busy it was, but surprisingly, within just 2-3 minutes, we were seated—something we didn’t expect given the number of people in front of us. It’s rare to see such efficiency! The service was exceptional, and I was particularly amazed by the attention to detail. Upon sitting down, we were given a QR code to explore the menu. A staff member then came over to explain the dishes in detail, which was incredibly helpful for someone like me who isn't too familiar with Korean cuisine. We decided to try the new barbecue set, which was absolutely delicious. It offered a choice of seven types of meat, along with vegetables, and the flavors were outstanding. We also tried the Bimbimbap Tuna set, which was fresh and flavorful. Both dishes were incredibly satisfying and at a very reasonable price, which surprised me considering the quality and quantity of food. Omg! this is worst place to experience food. Korean cuisine is my best favour and this time drove 1 hr to Manchester to get a disapointed meal at Ban di Bul. Firstly, the location is so good among Chinatown and central of Man city. But when we came by with a todler and pushchair, even 2 front staffs at reception island were free, they did not give any support. While eating, we need some more napkins and cutlery and he did ignore our requests. Secondly, about food, they said they are authentic Korean food, and even all pictures on menu look so delicious and attractive, we were disapoited with their taste. I ordered kimchi pancake £12.90 was so expensive, it was overcooked, too dried to chew and thin as carton paper. Can't see and can't taste the kimchi mixed inside. The other food that make me feel so upsad is Gar bi tang with short beef rib soup, which is tasteless of beef broth. Both me and my husband could blame it's taste was seasoned by MSG chicken powder, or something similar! They delivered a small bowl of few pieces of beef (not sure short ribs???) egg, and a little bit noodle at bottom. And of course, it is overpriced again! I can understand for their business staying at the central city, but their food is very expensive. I wish they can add some side food such as little bowl kimchi, seaweed, beansprout.. as free appertise to customers. I saw many Korean Restaurant doing the same. All in all, I don't think I come back again. Many food places in Manchester are better.

As of January 25. Visited for a late lunch. There was no BBQ, just a meal. The rating was about 3.8, which was just about right. Don’t put it on your top Korean restaurant list. I think it would be right to put it in the next or next priority. It was not authentic Korean food. Maybe it's because there's a Chinatown nearby. I can hear Chinese in the kitchen The food was Korean food with a bit of a Chinese feel. The taste wasn't bad. The taste was okay. Just a little lacking in cleanliness, The interior is decorated with Korean-related elements. A feeling of how a Chinese restaurant operates, It would be a good idea to visit this place knowing that it is a Korean restaurant that serves Korean food with a Chinese feel. I recommend Korean chicken here. (Chicken smell issue) Korean chicken is better at Piccidilly Garden Station. I recommend eating it at ‘Bunsik’.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We had a set meal (cooked in the kitchen rather than ourselves on the BBQ) for 3. It was delicious! I particularly enjoyed the beef soup, bulgogi and the rice whicv baked in the hot bowl with vegetables and egg. But all of it was lovely. Maybe I prefer crispy chicken fillet pieces instead of minced but still nice. Thank you.

A Cute Petite KBBQ, Staff were incredibly friendly & accommodating, Food was delicious + fairly priced. Atmosphere was phenomenal and had an amazing time! Excellent value for money! We came as a group of four and ordered the BBQ Set 1 with 1 additional person making it a platter for 3! We figured to start small and order more if we needed, but it was the perfect amount for us! The fish pancake that is included was one of my favorite parts of the meal! Highly recommend Ban Di Bul for KBBQ, we will definitely be back!

Honestly not sure why there are so many mixed reviews on this place – the food is great and the service was wonderful as well! We did the bbq, ordered bulgogi and chicken and it was delicious. The server also changed our grill plate in the middle of service. We also ordered beef and chicken dolsot bibimbap which was delicious, fresh, and authentic. I will definitely be returning!

I have been 6 or 7 times, but definitely I am no going to back. The grill always very sticky and bad quality, had to be changed like 3 times, also yesterday the lady was looking us in a weird way and suddenly she came to us and put in the bbq al the rest of the meat , very rude you can don’t rush the customer when is just 5 pm and the business quite. Also coke 5 pounds and no glass ? Food is lovely btw , full of flavour!!

I highly doubt this restaurant is run by Chinese. Koreans are unlikely to ask diners to pay extra for each kimchi. It is a Korean tradition to serve diners an endless supply of kimchi. The taste of the food completely lacks the flavor of Korean food. It just feels like the technique used by Chinese chefs (adding a lot of MSG). Conclusion: What this restaurant serves is an insult to Korean food culture

This is the worst restaurant I have been to. Honestly don't support this robbery at all. We ordered some food, and one of which was the crispy fried prawns. The price was 12.90 and had a picture of 6 deep fried prawns in a batter. We went ahead to order it. However, upon the arrival of the dish, the prawns were really, I wish I was there exagerrating, small. In a thick layer of batter. We didn't mind it as much, however we were shocked to see carrots in the shape of prawns. There were 3 prawns and huge carrot pieces, the price was 12 90. Furious when I complained they said that none of the pictures were the same. Usually, when this is the case there is a footnate stating so. Intact while ordered, the waitress agreed this was what we were ordering. For that expensive of a restaurant, there were qr codes. Absolute waste of money. Upon confronting a senior waiting staff, they told me they ll take off the service charge, which was optional in the first place. Please avoid going there. The portion of plain rice for 5 pounds were barely 3 spoons much. Honestly, there are much better places in Manchester that are respectful.

A chill and quiet spot with lovely staff for lunch amidst the rush and busy Manchester. A go to spot where I enjoy great quality food with friends or solo. Highly recommend! Especially the gar bi bbq.

2024 update BBQ duo set for two is now £33 per person Opted for a la carte. Our fire was abruptly switched off by a waiter while meat was still cooking because “there were too much smoke” as we weren’t constantly cooking our food. No explanation was given at the moment, it was explained later. Apparently there was something wrong with the ventilation and the solution is to cook everything at once and eat them cold or switch off the fire. Chicken shredded like stir fry I couldn’t recognize the sirloin filet. Garlic was just sprinkled on top but not marinated at all. Texture tasted like pork. Veggie side dishes also not marinated enough But at least I can recognize them. Sad to say I have to agree with the Korean users to say it has changed and not the Korean bbq place to go for anymore Explains why there are much less customers now… The Hong Kong waitress was kind. Hope she gets a better job soon Price and terms for bbq set were a bit confusing. Although they marked the price for one on the menu (24.5 / 28.5 pounds), The term “set” for the bbq set means “a bbq set for two people”, not “a set per person”, which means if you order one bbq set /tasting set, you will be served food portion for two, and be expected to pay a minimum of 49 or 57 pounds (plus tax and service charge). So if you want to order for two ppl, just order “one bbq set”. Or else the waitress will think you are ordering double and you will end up with heaps of food for four people and a whopping bill of 98 to 114 pounds. Good service, good food.

This Korean restaurant doesn't provide the usual side dishes that other Korean restaurants typically offer, such as kimchi. And most importantly, I ordered two very small bowls of rice, but when I checked the bill, they charged me £9! These were really just two tiny bowls of rice! I absolutely cannot accept this. I don't want rice-loving Asians, especially Chinese people, to be taken advantage of like this. This Korean restaurant will not provide you with the side dishes that other Korean restaurants have, such as Korean sauerkraut. And the most important thing is that I asked for two very small bowls of rice, but at the checkout they asked me for 9 pounds! These are really two very small bowls of rice! I completely, completely, completely unacceptable. I don’t want Asians, especially Chinese, who like to eat rice to be fooled.

Korean restaurant run by Chinese, Korean restaurant is a disgrace It's a waste to give it even 1 star. There's a lot of service charge, it's a waste of money, the service is terrible, and the food is just so-so. It's a waste of money. Don't ever go there.

2 servings of pork belly, 1 soup. I ate beer and kimchi pancakes and gained 91 pounds. It should be around 60 for it to be correct. I checked when I got home. .. The meat was tasteless and stuck to the grill... Green onion pancakes are okay. The staff has no work ethic. It's not good

Finally tried the Korean bbq here. So good! We ordered the platter the Mo Dum Gul enough for 4 people and then added an order of rib eye to bbq (could do without ordering this as the platter was more than enough), kimchi, soup and jap chae noodles. They give you an option to let the kitchen cook it for you or you can do it yourself with the grill on the table- we bbqed it ourselves which was more fun.
