Ban Di Bul in Manchester

I went to eat Korean food and the food was so delicious! I ordered a BBQ set, cold noodles, bibimbap, green onion pancake, and chicken. The assorted kimchi tasted exactly like Korean kimchi and was delicious. Kkakdugi, cabbage kimchi, and pickled cucumber were all the best.. The meat and green onion pancake were so delicious that I ate until I was full because there were so many BBQ dishes. Cold noodles!!! were really delicious, and the chicken wasn't Korean style chicken. The bibimbap was okay, so it was fine. The staff was also friendly. They kept looking after the grill and grinding it.

Fantastic! Beef soup was great. Chicken wasn’t spicy at all but Nilukshan saw that I wasn’t eating much of it and offered to give me another one with extra spice. All in all fantastic!

This restaurant is really underrated and has a great tofu soup. Plan to come back for the barbeque as well. If you're missing Korean food come here!

This place is like a little Hideaway which you would not notice but the food and staff is absolutely amazing. They don't even charge you service charge so I just gave a tip at the end because the food and everything about this place is amazing. The venue is a fancy but they make up for it by the quality of the ingredients Will come back again

It is my second time here. Didn’t like it since the first time. Due to its location, we ended up there again as we want Korean food. The food is okay.

Used to be a great spot to come grab lunch or dinner, was fairly priced with good quality. Went in and noticed a bowl of rice was now £6.90 which to me was crazy enough for me to just leave and eat somewhere else and honestly, not come in again. I mean everywhere else in the area has rice for a fair price but steamed rice for £6.90? Really?? Overall a nice restaurant if you want to spend almost £7 on a side that is basically not included in 60% of the menu dishes. That's just not me though, I'd prefer to give my business to a restaurant that doesn't try to extort me for a bowl of rice Update: Owner has said I have spread false information, if that's true forgive me but this picture on your menu which you have to use to order shows the price of £6.90 and is the same dish used the past 12 times I've been in the last few years which is palm sized (for one person) it doesn't say for two or anything but £6.90 nonetheless for rice is daylight robbery

The food quality with absolutely excellent with very generous portions. An option to cook / BBQ your own meat is a nice touch! The only thing I would say is that the music is too loud and the one available toilet is not the best... But must say that it goes with the Korean theme of shown K-pop on TV. Worth a visit overall!

I couldn’t recommend the seafood ramen enough!! Good portions and the flavour is on point. A lil bit spicy but not too overpowering. Craving satisfied!!!

I had a fantastic meal at this Korean restaurant! The stone pot bibimbap was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The combination of tender beef, fresh vegetables, and a perfectly raw egg yolk on top created a great harmony of flavors and textures — especially when mixed with the crispy rice at the bottom of the hot stone bowl.

Had the Dolsot Bibimbap and it was amazing! Everything was super fresh, the beef was really tasty, and the crispy rice at the bottom was perfect. Loved how everything was mixed together with the egg and sauce. The staff were really friendly too — made the whole experience even better. Definitely coming back!

Had an amazing dining experience here! We had seafood ramen, black bean noodles and squid bbq. The black bean noodles were absolutely delicious, the flavors were rich and well-balanced. Also, the service staff were really kind and attentive, eventhough we were the last ones to leave the restaurant. Highly recommend!

food was amazing, would highly recommend the beef bibimbup, as it was excellent in flavours and quality. atmosphere was great with kpop playing, however it would be better if the smoke extractor could be stronger. overall as my first time coming, it met my expectations, will definitely be visiting again.

Things are very different today than they were the last time we came here. Very friendly service from the chaps working here but everything was disjointed. Pointed us to a QR code to order so we did, but after spending close to £90 they told us that the BBQ we ordered would come from the kitchen precooked unless we ordered more. They then graciously reconsidered. Table didn’t have cutlery set up. Food came before our drinks. The restaurant wasn’t busy, so no reason why the service was clumsy. Food was decent for the most part. As some of the other reviews have pointed out, food quantity that’s pictured in their menu did not reflect actual amount. Seafood ramen had 5 bits in it. Corn dogs were pictured as 2 of them but only 1 came. A lot of the recent 5 star reviews look bought. Short descriptions the lot of them. The fact that the place was virtually empty at peak lunch hour means that the fake reviews aren’t working. Advice to the management: stop with the petty cost cutting and you’ll have more customers and genuine 5 star reviews.

Fabulous food. The service was very quick and the waiter couldn't do enough to help us. A great place for lunch. The only reason I haven't given it 5 stars is because the decor is very tired and needs updating.

Went for the bbq. Food was mediocre at best. Kept having issues with the heater not working. We waited like 20 minutes for it to get hot, but it never did. we got moved to another table where the extractor fan didn't work. Gas ran out halfway through, which was annoying. £5 for a can of coke is extortionate. Would be 1 star, but one of the servers was very kind and apologetic about the situation.

Was really excited to try Korean BBQ for the first time left very disappointed. We came in to a silent venue that was absolutely freezing cold. Bizarre atmosphere. As someone who's never had Korean BBQ an explanation about how it all works would've been really useful, however the food was just dumped in front of us and left to our own devices. Our grill was barely operational and did not cook our food adequately which led to bland barely cooked food, we would've raised this point earlier however as this was our Korean BBQ we did not know anything was wrong. Our server finally noticed, apologized and moved us onto a different table but it was still annoying having a lot of our food cooked inadequately. Feels slightly over priced, times are hard but almost £5 for a 330ml soft drink hurts. Would've loved to bring up these points to a manger but trying to pay also became an issue due to a faulty card machine so just wanted to leave the place. Overall if you're looking to try Korean BBQ I couldn't recommend this place. Would've been 1 star but our server was friendly enough and seemed like he was trying his hardest.

The host was on the phone when we entered and gestured towards a table we should sit at. We sat down and did not remove our jackets due to the cold atmosphere. Moments later she came over and told us to scan a qr code to order. The food was ok - slightly overpriced. She later came with the bill and asked that we submit a google review. As I knew I would potential leaving a negative review I was waiting for her to leave my side before submitting an honest review. As I was taking a while to submit the review she assumed I did not how to. She then proceeded to scroll to the top of my screen and click 5 stars. I tried to bide by time, by scrolling through the options but she would not leave my side, staring intently into my phone. Fed up with being under duress I submitted 2 stars and she finally left. At this point I was severely uncomfortable and left immediately.

A place my husband and me enjoyed a lot! Good food! Very Korean! Waitress and waiter are always friendly.
