Really bad service wait for long time

I ordered a take out for collection tje food was spot on ordered 3 curry disheswhich wete really nice & the naan was light & lovely !! We were all impressed as read recent reviews for this place!!

I went in to get a a take our that I had ordered on the phone but he charged me £4.50 extra. Whenever I go the price fluctuates and it changes depending on who the customer is. The customer service is rubbish and l would not recommended this to anyone. He has just scammed me by charging extra. I would never go again

Desi atmosphere. Desi takeaway or sit in. If your looking for a 5 star location seating then it not for you but I guarantee its food is amazing and better than 5 star authentic pakistani food..better than home cooked

visited Royal Manchester Restaurant yesterday with my wife and baby, and unfortunately, the service was terrible from the start. The manager was extremely rude, making our dining experience very unpleasant. Despite our concerns, the manager showed complete indifference to our situation, which ultimately led us to leave the restaurant. I am very disappointed and cannot recommend this place based on our experience.

Horrible service. We were served after 2 families who came and ordered after us! They had even finished eating by the time we got our food. They started preparing it to the very end, could see inside the kitchen. My parents are aged and diabetic and had to take their insulin and other medication and this place let me down, wish I could burn this place down. We had to request for everything repeatedly. We were served in disposable cutlery and glasses LOL. No water given. Charged for unsealed bottled water lol. Had to really beg for them to give us our tea although we asked to be served the tea with the breakfast. We were about to leave when they gave with the tea. I could see into their kitchen. They started preparing tea when we threatened to leave. Horrendous service and no apologies by the staff. They stayed silent whenever we complained about the delay. No apologies at all!! Appalling. We had to ask for even things like sugar (for tea), tissue paper, glasses, cutlery etc each time. And each time the guy went and came back after ages. Horrible. If I could I would sue this place so they close and go bankrupt InshaAllah.

What a food! If you love your tummy you should go there:)))good price, good portions and really nice spicey food.

Amazing food and definitely reminds you of authentic Lahore taste. Their lahori channel, chilli chicken, masala fish, chargha are highly recommended. Prices are reasonable. There not much seating area but they don't need to expand as the demand is more for takeaway.

Don't even bother eating from here, The worst seekh lamb kebab in the UK. Burnt, dry, microwaved old seekh kebabs. This place needs a health inspection. Many good food places near by just avoid this lahori dera. Absolutely Disgusting. The only thing good is the fries but not worth £20.

Ordered two seekh kebab sandwiches and a portion of chips. It was our first ever visit as we live in cheethamhill. To be honest, we had high expectations as it looked busy from the outside. Once we got the seekh kebab sandwiches, we were shocked to see the kebabs on a paper thin hard peice of something that was not a naan at all. The kebabs were burnt and hard as a rock. Only managed to eat one kebab with loads of yoghurt sauce to make it edible. It was the most dry kebab we ate. Told the waiter that kebab is burnt and hard like a rock and that is nothing like a naan. To be honest, the waiter did offer to bring me some complimentary curry, but we were put off with the food already. Brother, this is a very honest review so please ask the waiter and he will tell you that we left the kebabs behind.

We had Mixed grilled Tawa for 2 people. Liked it. Worthy to have a try.

Had a pleasure of eating at Lahore Dera today, I visited along with my family, we were super hungry as we were fasting, we ordered Chicken Chergha, Nehrai, Haleem, seekh Kabab and Biryani. Chicken Chergha was 8/10, Nehari was 7/10, Biryani was 5/10 as it was just a curry in rice so not a actual biryani, Haleem was 2/10 not good at all, seems it was made in a grinder. Overall food was good, service was super fast.

Been there to eat Butter chicken karahi, taste was not the same , spend £40 roughly for only karahi also have to pay for salad as well. So ridiculously high priced as compared to other restaurants.It was just before Ramadan , few days ago.

So I walked in and was immediately asked would you like to EAT IN or TAKE AWAY, upon enquiring I was informed by the server that they have separate Menu for Eat in and Take Away. Anyway I decided to EAT IN as it was cold and raining outside, I ordered CHILLI CHICKEN along with a Portion of CHICKEN SEEKH KEBAB. I thought it’ll be a quick turnaround as the Kebab’s were ready and all they had to do was Re-heat them and Naan should not take them a few minutes as the restaurant wasn’t busy and they have enough staff to fulfil the order. To my DISAPPOINTMENT I had to wait around 15 minutes for my food and even then the server just gave me a plate with a portion of 2 SEEKH KEBABS which have been warmed infront of me in the microwave and to my surprise the plate had water drenched from the Kebab’s (Again not Impressed as No Cutlery was given along) So I had to ask for cutlery! Anyway after another 10 minutes I finally got the CHILLI CHICKEN and 2 naan. Firstly the CHILLI CHICKEN was by no means whatsoever deserved to be called Chilli Chicken as it seemed more of chicken rashers with a lot of oil and no chilli or flavour not even enough salt. (Huge Disappointment) The kebab’s were just ok and not the very Best. Later as I couldn’t finish the food, I asked the Server that if I can get the remaining food to be packed for it to Taken away and again to my Surprise he brought in a Container and a paper bag and left it on my table so that I can do it all myself. Overall a Huge Disappointment both in-terms of Food, Quality and Service. A Massive let down as I surely won’t be Returning and Won’t be Recommending to Anyone. So save your hard earned cash and AVOID this place to save your Disappointment.

Seekh kababs too heavy to digest. Kabab meat is too coarsely ground. Chicken tikka not fully marinated and over-treated with termeric. Sauce was stale.

I ordered heleem and its like daal .no meat at all.portuin is too small even not enough for 1 person with 1 naan.

2 years ago use to be good quality. Unfortunately since they have become established the prices have increased ALOT and the quality has fallen ALOT. Not very clean inside either, my kids refuse to sit inside and eat. As they don’t clean up very well. The staff are over worked and must be low paid as they don’t smile and take your order like they are doing you a favour. The owner is the same, does NOT give you the service you expect from a family run business. Attitude, quality of food, hygiene and lack of quality of service is an issues here for which I would NOT recommend and will NOT be going back. There’s plenty of other places you could try. Avoid going here.

Food: Multiple visits. All the meats are tender and spiced perfectly. Butter chicken or mutton, both are well made. Lassi hits the spot and the mint sauce is to die for. Service: Prompt and friendly staff. Overall 8/10. Would recommend

My experience at Lahori Dera was extremely disappointing. Not only did they overcharge for their food, but the service was also incredibly rude and unprofessional. It felt like they were trying to take advantage of customers with inflated prices and no regard for providing a pleasant dining experience. I won't be returning to Lahori Dera and would caution others to avoid it as well.

Honestly, I was blown away with the quality of food. Its a nice, quiet unassuming place. I ordered 2 paronteh, though it wasn't on the menu. I wanted daal with ghoast (lentils and lamb) I didn't get what the guy was saying, did they run out or was it discontinued, something got lost in translation. so decided to keep it simple with massala lamb. The lamb salan was utterly delicious, just like your mum makes it. The paronteh were massive and the salad with the chutney makes it. My recommendation to management would be that they should do more breakfast type meals because that's why I went. Overall I'd recommend.

Restaurant with comfort food which tastes AMAZING! Authentic Pakistani cuisine for sure. Don’t expect anything else other than just great food :)

I recently had the pleasure of trying the Nihari and Chicken Masala at this restaurant and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. The Nihari was rich and flavorful, with tender pieces of meat that melted in my mouth. The Chicken Masala was equally delicious, with a perfect balance of spices and a creamy sauce that had me licking my plate clean. The portions were generous and the service was top-notch. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an authentic and satisfying meal.

I had palak chicken, lamb biriyani and naan... Its been so long since i had palak gravy... That could be a reason for loving it... And the rice of mutton biriyani was satisfactory but the lamb pieces were superrbbb... So soft and tender... When it comes to price... Its cheaper compared to the quantity of food they have served... Overall it was a nice experience for me.... I recommend people to try there once...

Unhygienic food after eating I started having cramps and continuous dierreha so would say don't ever eat there again also very expensive.

Quiet nice. Lamb karahi was really nice.

We only went because we've heard so much about their lamb chops and they were amazing. Soft n juicy. Place is set up with traditional Pakistani decor. They make fresh lamb karahi whilst you wait. Took around 35 mins for the food to be prepared. They supplied us with piping hot rotis as we ate which was amazing. We washed it all down with mango lassi. I cant fault their food. Only downside is that the place is small and crammed with tables and chairs. Its one of them places where you just sit and eat and leave, not sit eat and chat.

Before some years food was good butt unfortunately now i think my 10 0r 12 visit food have rabish that fish is no test now some time ago was very good i think now they dont want custumars how many time i have requesting please i have too came for special for fish make nice butt now everytime fish not cook good i have to make sure that was my last visit and no recommend now for other families because everytime i was recommended my family and friends very shamefully almost 10 to 20 time good have not good ....no recommended...

Shocking customer service, place is ran by T.P.’s Who have no customer service skills. Made a phone order and on arrival told me they had given it to someone else. What kind of service is that. Shocking. Expecting me to then wait another 30 mins while they cook again. No thanks. On previous visits they always say food will be ready in 20 mins but never is. Always get there after 20 mins and it ends up taking another 20 mins. Typical back home behaviour. Wont be returning thats a fact.

went there at 10:25pm and was told take out only told them travelled from bham and was recommended to try there food but guy was rood if you close ur business at 11pm you shud NOT refuse custom 35 mins before …. so we went to lahori nazara instead they close same time too 11pm but they were happy to give us a table ….

So a meal with soft drinks for 4 people somehow came up to £80. No starters or desserts Here's the extras they DONT tell you about or mention about costs Small plate of Salad (Lettuce, 4 pieces of cucumber, onion and a few tomato slices) £4.95 1KG Lamb Larahi £45! (asked if we wanted butter or olive oil - we went for olive oil. £5 extra charge for using Olive Oil - Again no mention of extra charge So it actually cost £50 6 Rotis and drinks somehow cost 80. They write in urdu on receipt so beware. Ridicuous prices - Even Mumtaz and Akbars charge less. Add in poor Hygene and service and you have perfect plae to avoid that will ruin your trip.

Food is reasonable but way over priced for what you get. The other issue is that the customer service could be much improved, in particular not too comfortable with having waiters staring at females whilst they're eating.
