Great food and service for takeaway food

Food was great. Tasted really good, we ordered takeaway and was ready and hot at the time we requested for pick up! Great stuff!

Tasty food cooked rapidly and at reasonable prices. Great to have them on the High Street.

The best Chinese. moved to Teddington and still come back. 10/10 all dishes.

Normally love this place but had food from lemon grass last night and had an allergic reaction to MSG with swollen lip etc. First time I’ve ever had a reaction so assume they use a lot of MSG :-(

Worst customer experience of my life,ruined my whole weekend when looking forward to a takeaway after a long week at work. Ordered the same thing that I have done for the last 15years of my life and was sent something that I had never even heard off.the lady on the other end of the phone would not admit to her mistake and said I would have to pay again. Discrace

Best (well only) Chinese takeaway in Shepperton! Still very good.

We have used this place for years and normally food and service good. However tonight we ordered at 6.10pm online and it said delivery at 6.50pm. We tried calling from 7.15pm, until 7.50pm as it never showed. I then drove to the restaurant as the phone was constantly engaged. They looked at me as if I just ordered and gave me my order. I was fuming and they done nothing to calm me down, and just said that they were constantly taking orders on the phone. I then phoned in front of them as no one was on the phone and it showed engaged. Just very disappointed as this used to be our favourite place but we won't order anymore.

My favourite Chinese. I always collect my order. Reasonable prices. Worth trying if you haven't been here before

The meal I ordered arrived on time. That was the best but about it. Really disappointed with the food. Bland, no flavour. Three of us shared the meal and none of us were enthusiastic about it.

first time ordering as my normal Chinese is closed today 😥, so far the food is 25 mins late so not looking good, don't think I would use again!!

Just fancied a crispy duck and Chow Mein on Saturday night so placed an order on the website. Collect in 20 minutes it said but still waiting 40 minutes later. I thought its good that they are busy and at least I knew it was going to be fresh. So disappointed when I got home as the duck was dry, the hoisin sauce claggy and noodles dried up. What a shame, will probably not bother with Chinese again.

The food is always excellent and piping hot, try it you won’t be disappointed. Go directly to the take away 😘

Best Chinese takeaway in the area! I can’t fault any dishes here. I Highly recommend the dumplings, Singapore noodles and, kungpo prawns crispy beef! I see there have been some negative reviews in the past but don’t let this put you off because the food and menu has greatly improved. Staff have been amazing during lockdown and continued to serve high quality food

Extremely disappointed. They deliver the wrong order, and I had to go back to return it but the lady at the reception refused to correct her mistake. We are regular customer but we decided not to use this shop again for their bad manners. I don't recommend this shop.

Lemon Grass is the best Chinese in the Whole of London. Even though I guess it isn't technically in London. About 3 years ago I moved from Shepperton to London and I've lived in about three different places and never found Chinese food as good as Lemon Grass. I have to have it every time I come home, it's my absolute favourite meal and reminds me of so much of my family. It was my birthday this festive season and although we had plans to travel back home, we didn't make it because of the lockdown. I was so sad to miss my family but when my boyfriend surprised me that night with Lemon Grass, that he managed to get specially delivered (via private courier, mind you) to East London, a whopping 25 miles away, I was so happy! It was Christmas and Birthday rolled into one. The staff are amazing and the food is so good you would of thought they'd have a star or something! Thank you so much to Lemon Grass for helping with my special delivery and I can't wait to have it again at home as soon as I can. Best, Number 21 x

Over 3 hours, called over 400 times, still no delivery

Always love my takeaways from Lemongrass,I always have salt and pepper tofu(extra crispy) it’s delicious with boiled rice and garlic Pak Choi. My son is really fussy but loves their sweet and sour chicken (but without the vegetables unfortunately !) with egg fried rice. Lemon grass give good customer service and we always enjoy our meals from there ,they also offer fast home delivery!

I’m yet to find a better chinese takeaway since moving away from Shepperton. No where comes close to this place. The best crispy chilli beef & the lemon grass special king prawns are to die for

Pricey, my satay chicken was extraordinarily tough with the most disgustingly gelatinous Satay sauce. Maybe the most overcooked yet lukewarm meal I've ever experienced. It was vile. Then it proceeded to go downhill from there. Prices up, quality down.

L I ordered a special fried rice, I got yellow rice with sultanas, pineapple prawns carrots and spice... Not a special fried rice. 1⭐ for not poisoning me.

Put up the prices on the food I order by nearly 20% recently and dropped the food quality by 50%. Genius. Not sure if it’s changed hands as has all new staff. Won’t be going back.

Been eating at Lemon grass for a long time now and we always get great service as well as fast delivery with very kind and happy staff and the food is simply amazing. Proper decent chinese food. 👌🏻👍🏻

Rude staff - really gone downhill in past few months

Used the Lemon Grass for 4 years but very recently food is not good, gone down hill rapidly. Sadly wont be using it again.

Great food seved by friendly welcoming staff

Food arrived and was cold, watery and bland. Will NEVER use them again! Also messed up the order and got most of it wrong.

Portions have down sized and quality is not the same
