Food was nice. Good portion size. Staff were friendly and helpful. Now a chopstix rewards member. 🫡🫡

Very greasy and artificially flavored. Spring rolls - only dough, minimum filling.

Staff was unhappy the whole time, In every other noodle stop in the uk a small box comes with 2 sides, Food was quite nice really but he was clearly unhappy, looked and acted very grumpy, I was having a conversation with another customer and he sort of just coughed to say hurry up and pay for your food.

I went for egg fried rice, firecracker chicken, BBQ pork and spring rolls, with drink, in a small box, cost around £11. The lady who served me explained how it worked and the choices etc, very helpful. The food itself was delicious! Deffo look out for this again on my next trip - highly recommended!

Service, speed and food. The big 3 for me. This place great value for money. Staff always loving and caring. I like to give recognition for being a great service man at the till. He asked for me to leave a review so this what I’m doing. I ordered a 2 topping box with bbq and sweet and sour. WOW!! It was the best. Whoever made this masterpiece, deserves a medal. Gives these guys a a raise

The guy that served me was very professional and responsive. He explained all the choices and options. I chose noodles with three toppings. Noodles were ok but all just one texture (nothing crispy or fresh tasting), not very hot. The two chicken options (one Katsu) tasted the same. The sweet and sour dish was bland. In the whole dish there were some small fragments of red pepper and one green bean. A better option than McDonald’s but not good food. All a bit sloppy

This does not taste the same as the usual chopstix.... No more red curry.. no more fire cracker chicken....I should've stopped at Peterborough.. my 7up cup had more ice than drink... Very disappointed

22 Aug 2024 at 5-6 pm I'm always big fan of chopstix food. Even want those service stations just for the chopstix. But today's experience was awful 😖! One staff there, who served us he was very rude (big European man). He just literally ruined my day by his behaviours! He wasn't interested to surving or listening what customer want.There was 3 staff and only 2 customer (my self and my husband). He should learn how to talk with customer, how to surve customer politely and most important need to train good customer service! Because not all the people are mentally strong. Some are really sensitive like me! Who can easily broke by people misbehave..💔

Food is reasonably OK but I'd expect service with a smile, especially when spending almost £40.

Firstly this was my first time at this location. The food was delicious but the service was awful. The server was not listening to me and I was given the toppings I did not ask for.

We arrived at 12:30, Saturday lunchtime in summer, so a high-turnover period. First the good: the staff were friendly, fast, efficient and accurate. Mini spring rolls were crispy and tasty. Now the not-so-good: noodles were claggy and tasted like they'd been there for ages. That's strange, because we could see more being fried, and they were being used quickly, as we're the other main meal items. Sweet and sour chicken bites: the meat was tender, but the batter was soggy enough to be slimy and unpleasant. Sauce was pretty standard, but I'd prefer more sour. Salt and pepper cauli bites: tasty, but the batter was oily and more floppy than crisp. I suspect they were fried at too low a temperature.

Well, what a delightful surprise. The food here looked lovely and fresh, but I was sceptical of service station food. Prices were a little expensive for me,but, again, being at a service's this is to be expected. I was served by a lady called Andrea who was very friendly and knowledgeable, even made me smile as she offered other items to add on ( love it that people try - we do expect it!). I ended up having a two topping box with Noodles and Salt and Pepper Chicken/BBQ Chicken. The portion size was enough for me when I added on spring rolls and a drink. It tasted great and was hot. I would definitely recommend giving this a go, they had rice too and lots of different toppings to try next time I'm passing this way. Thank you for a great lunch experience.

Pretty good first experience in chopstix, got a medium box meal deal with rice bbq chicken and spicy potatoes, wasn’t too spicy though which is good for me because I’m terrible for not being able to handle it if it’s too spicy, everything tastes nice and was super quick to be served 👌🏼

One of the best experience in the services after a long drive. The staff were so nice and served food with a good smile. The lovely lady and the gentleman who served us were very kind and had such a pleasant manner. The whole team that were at the store today were warm and we really appreciated their kindness. Meant a lot to us after our long drive. Put a smile on our faces! The food was so tasty with decent amount of portion. I would definitely recommend it. Will definitely be back! After a long journey we popped into the services for some food and rest before continuing on with our journey. My daughter wanted chopstix as it's her favourite so I placed an order. The young gentleman serving us was very pushy wanting me to upgrade to a meal deal and when I asked for just 1 box, he kept asking me "are you sure?" I explained to him that I do not eat that sort of food due to dietary requirements and he just kept going on at me. When passing me my receipt he then told me to leave him a review whether it's good or bad as he needs them. So here is my review. As someone that's worked in hospitality as a manager for several years, I understand the importance of reviews BUT I also understand the basics of customer service, if a customer doesn't want to upgrade to a meal deal that's perfectly okay! And if they are insistent that they only want one item you don't need to repeatedly ask if they're sure! Take a step back and to your customers.

Stopped at the services for lunch and decided to take a gamble on something different. Was worth it, customer service was great staff took the time to talk me through how the menu works. I went for Caramel chicken with firecracker 🔥was worth it. Will be back for my 5 free spring rolls on the app!

We were so happy to see there was a Chopstix in the services as it’s one of our favourites! We had one large and one regular box; mine was sweet & sour chicken and beef teriyaki. We also got a portion of ten chicken bites to share. We were happy to discover they offer a 20% BLC discount, which was gratefully received! The food was absolutely delicious and really hit the spot for our lunch. Will stop here again for this!

Foods always good on my travels but never come across 2 of the worst assistants behind the counter extremely rude whilst giving hardly any food for the price and laughing at each other. will not be using Cambridge xtra services for Chopstix again btw others like Edinburgh Glasgow Bristol spot on great staff

Every time we have travelled the past two years I headed to Cambridge services for Chopstix - no more - just finished a dire lunch - the normally lush noodles soaked today in strong, guessing its soy, sauce and nearly all the same toppings of chicken something - so disappointed ☹️ what has happened 😭

Absolutely unreal fast food. People lined up for McDonald's when this is here.

Poor staff service. Lady who is serving is so rude. I ordered large box of noodles with 3 toppings and she make it like she is giving money for my food, cold and in each topping she only put halfer spoon of everything. I usually went for this box because I really like but from now to onwards I will never go back again. Improve your service or otherwise you will lose customers. I wish I can get my refund for this poor service and food . Thanks

20:00 and very little food left and all containing chicken. No positive customer service. No idea what time they close as they don’t show opening hours. The staff were there until 20:30. I’ve been before and had wonderful food and service.

I always enjoy the pumpkin katsu curry here but thought if try the leaf no beef option and it was delicious. Really recommend it! 👌 staff are really friendly and helpful it you have any questions.

I usually enjoy Chopstix, but sadly, this isn't one of the better ones. Chap who took the order was rude and lacked basic manners and communication skills. He tutted when me and my partner wanted to pay together, and when I asked him about the meal deals he simply pointed at the sign and said "look". The rice and noodles were both overcooked and the chicken toppings were incredibly dry. Not a place I'd be likely to visit again.

I waited in a queue of three people, one member of staff serving two other members of staff leaning against the equipment resting. It took forever to serve the people in the queue. When I did get served I was told I would have to wait for the Catsu curry to be cooked and then I realised there were also no potatoes left. I decide to abandon my order. Besides the terrible it is pretty awful if you are vegetarian.

It's taken a turn for worse for sure. portions are much less generous, disgusting overcooked noodles, chicken doesn't feel fresh either. Sad, as they used to be better and my go to place when coming back from Cambridge. Eat here if you're hungry and desperate, I'll just vote with my wallet and cook at home.

You never have a vegetarian option. I come to these services frequently and I have never seen the pumpkin katsu in stock. Potatoes with noodles or rice isn't really an acceptable alternative. Your staff are also always very rude when I ask if there is any available.

I'm a driver. A few times I had a very unpleasant service. Today at 3.30pm I could not order food because I got information that 3 people at the same time have a break..

Wanted the chilli prawns but they ran out which was fine so opted for the pumpkin katsu. Received only one piece when other customers who ordered chicken katsu got 2-3 pieces. Rice was under-filled which you can see in the photo. Definitely would not have spent £6.50 for that…

Food was pretty gross, no flavour to noodles and the egg fried rice over salty with strange texture to egg. Sweet & sour chicken was the worst of all. None of it was very hot so I worry about the food safety of this place to be honest. Very disappointing!

Had the prawns yesterday evening and I thought there was a funny taste at the time, but the sauce was covering it. Within an hour I was throwing up and I’ve been sofa bound since…perhaps it had been sitting there too long?

We are regular customers to Cambridge extra services Chopstick we almost always take food medium with 2-toppings and we also take our regular Elmexican. On Sun-2/7/23 we thought we will go for large Xtra offer £11.95 -4 toppings. The East European lady serves us always we are regular because our favourite prawns & beef-We ordered beef/salt& pepper, caramel chicken kasu-chicken but my husband doesn’t like the sauce which we tried before. I asked could we have beef little gravy or chicken sauce instead! Staff was absolutely adamant NO, so we had no sauce dry chicken ??The drink was small, when I mentioned she says small drink just offer says large-extra ( this is miss-sell ) advertisement. Also for several weekends we found the spring rolls under cooked not crunchy like previous occasions! We are happy they offer Blue Card-After this occasion we have decided not to ever take food from chopsticks. Staff are absolutely awful no manners and hardly any knowledge of English. Chopsticks front first stall restaurant. Tues-evenings staff go home early saying food all sold out- noticed staff take food home for themselves. Anyone wanting to go chopsticks please avoid. There are more options with better staff service. We love chopsticks food. Tottenham Court Rd, London best! Bihanger Services also serves Chopsticks!!

Their chicken katsu curry is my favourite, we always have it when we are on long roads.

Normally a great place for vegan Katsura pumpkin curry, but none being served today, so had to go elsewhere.

Food was delicious and noodles was really good! Sweet and sour chicken is usually good but felt off this time but the caramel chicken hit the spot. The woman was really kind and told us that it was halal and was patient. The atmosphere was quite good and the chairs near the place was decent and the table was good with charging plugs.

Box of Rice with sweet chicken was delicious, but box with noodles is just full of tasteless noodles really.

Everything was really good, lovely customer service, delicious food and fast order, highly recommended!
