Busy lunchtime, but only one person serving isn't good. Food was ok authentic but for £10 expected better quality and service, waited so long for my food to be just microwaved.

This place is a hidden gem! We came across this restaurant when trying to find somewhere to eat, and we were so glad we food this restaurant! After speaking to the lady she told us they used to have a restaurant open somewhere else in London but recently closed and relocated to Strutton Ground Market which is where they are located now near St James Park underground station. For drinks we tried a teh tarik ice which was so creamy and sweet and perfect for a summer drink! It paired so perfectly well with the Rendang meal which had some spice to it, but as we were sharing mains and a side of soya protein fritters we also chose the gorgeous Soto soup which cooled down the spice from the rendang curry. Both dishes were clearly absolutely authentically Indonesian and made perfectly, the beef in the rendang is slow cooked for a long time so it's lovely and soft. The Soto soup was my favourite and made me feel very comfortably full afterwards. We also tried a Bandrik hot drink which was a different taste to the ice drink we had, it was very much like a horlicks/mild hot chocolate drink with hints of ginger in it which was very nice but we couldn't finish the whole thing. The service at this restaurant was amazing, sadly we didn't catch the lady's name but she was so happy to be at work, singing, chatting, explaining the food etc and it was so lovely to find authentic Indonesian food! Highly recommend!

Went to this place almost every chance that I got. Ordered "es cendol". This drink used to be great. Nowadays, it's got mixed with old "cendol" that perhaps not sold previously. You can tell me the new "cendol" has bright green colour and the old "cendol" has darker green colour. The taste is also different now. Talking about increasing profit margin!! The service is excellent, but the drink is just terrible. The food is nothing to shout about. Avoid this eatery if you can. Consistency is not their motto.

This is a hidden little canteen where you can have Indonesian street food in Queensway market. We went in Anugustc, got day, and there is no AC. So it’s not the most comfortable restaurant to sit, but to have street food, it reminds us the atmosphere of the street market in tropical countries, so it was kind of nice in a way if you put your mind for it. There are only 4 main meals to choose from, 2 rice dishes and 2 soup noodle dishes. We have tried 3 out of 4 dishes. Rendang Meal, Coconuts Rice, Bakso. Rendang Meal was quite nice. For the coconuts rice, chicken was a bit too dry for our taste, but the fried anchovies on the side was tasty. For Bakso, the taste of the soup and meat balls were ok, but the noodle was disappointing. We will try Soto and some desert be next time.

This is a bit of an obscure bar in a hotel with some really good food - especially Malaysian food. Quick and good service in a nice environment.

I think this place might have closed now. I tried 4/5 to order over the phone then I went down in person but the place was closed. Feel sad that they've closed. Used to enjoy their food

No volveré

I strongly advise to avoid this place...the staff are incompetent. No card payment facility. The ATM didn’t dispense correct cash. The drinks are awful and the food is terrible at best ! Carlton Lounge is much better for Shesha and food and is in a much better setting, this place is more of a make-shift smokers den at the back of your garden...

We went to Itsu in Victoria for lunch. First off, there was nobody at the counter. No staff to be seen.....they certainly weren't cleaning tables! When the staff member came to the till, our order was taken as we were told, 'stay there it's coming'. A few seconds later, our rice pots were brought out. Cold, hard, rubbery awful. We asked for the toilet code and got, 'it's not working' in a 'couldn't care less' manner. The tables were filthy, the floor was filthy, the whole place did not look cared for. I ate a few mouthfuls before binning it and leaving.
