Delightful meal. We decided to have an assortment of dim sum. We had fried dumplings, soup dumplings, and some bao. The char su bao were the best I’ve had outside of Hong Kong. The bao were fluffy and light while the pork was a perfect sticky sweet. The Beijing style dumplings were equally good. Great meal.

We recently visited Young Chen in Chinatown, Central London, looking forward to a good buffet meal. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing from the start. On the very first plate, we found a hair in the rice, which was clearly from the kitchen. It was an immediate turn-off and raised concerns about hygiene. We remained calm and civil, and politely asked for a refund, given that we had just started our meal and hadn’t touched anything else. However, the manager responded in an incredibly rude and dismissive manner, repeatedly telling us a refund was “not possible” with no apology or understanding. We left feeling uncomfortable and very let down by both the food standards and the customer service. We won’t be returning, and sadly cannot recommend this place based on our experience.

This was a very tasty and cozy experience. Even though the restaurant is not huge and has an upper floor, we felt very welcome here. From the lady on the street who advertised to the service staff in the restaurant, we were very looked after. Recommendations were also made upon request. They're also willing to have a little chat if it's convenient. The food was very tasty and authentic. We'd love to come back. Thank you.

We went for dinner yesterday. We really liked the iced sweet and sour chicken, the sweetcorn chicken soup, and the Shanghai pork and prawn dumplings. We also had honey and black pepper beef, but as we don't usually use many condiments, we felt that the pepper flavor was a bit strong and the beef was gummy.

This restaurant was excellent, great service and attention. It was very friendly, and the food was delicious. We were here after the theater and many places were close but this restaurant saved the day. Hard working people and fantastic options. Is not expensive and is very close to picadilly, Leicester square and Tottenham court road. Location: China Town. Very good, highly recommended!

I tried their chow mein and steamed chicken dumplings, and I must say it’s very delicious. If you like spicy foods, do well to tell them and they’ll be glad to make yours spicy. Overall, I highly recommend this place. The staff are very friendly and on standby in case of anything.

A Hidden Gem in Chinatown! Had a fantastic dining experience at this lovely Chinese restaurant in the heart of Chinatown. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, made even better by the incredibly friendly and attentive staff who made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. The set menu was very reasonably priced, offering great value without compromising on quality. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented — a real treat for the taste buds! From classic dim sum to rich mains, everything was absolutely delicious. It was the perfect spot for a catch-up with good friends — relaxed, tasty, and memorable. Awesome dishes available for vegans, with variety and size of portion, including price which is reasonable. The aubergine and tofu with black bean sauce, steamed rice and then a tofu friend rice with sugar snaps. Really enjoyed our pronto meal before going to theatre. We only had an hour and we were done with 20 minutes to spare!! X

I came here with my wife the food is good and so is the service. I had the roast duck and BBQ pork and that didn't satisfy me so I ordered wonton noodle soup.

The pork dumplings and BBQ pork are very delicious. I also ordered their stir-fried ho fun with black bean sauce but forgot to take a photo. The prices are reasonable, service is great, highly recommended

Morning tea tastes great! The skin of the rice rolls is soft and elastic, the Thai chicken feet are sweet and sour and appetizing, and the service attitude is particularly good! Recommended to eat here and bring friends here next time

Nice restaurant with mellow atmosphere!! Set over two levels along with seating outfront for warmer days. The food is super yummy and they have unusual options like iced meals (essentially food on ice) if you like your food cooler. Good portion size and price. Staff are extremely friendly, accommodating, and offer speedy service. I recommend.

The little old Asian man outside is the cutest!!!!! Drunken wine chicken very Asian, hits close to home! Mapo tofu's tofu is firm and silky! Buddha vegetable mix has great vegetables (and TOFU SKIN!)! I can only recommend!!!!!!!! AND waiters were extremely nice, helpful and smiling all along. Loved it. Thank you!!!!! Devoured it, deffo bringing my friends here more, coming from a Londoner! (My friend's comment: best thing was that coming in and leaving we don't reek off food and greasy kitchen smell.) ❤️.

Me and my friend came here after she went here with other friends. I begged her to make this the post theatre destination for evening plans we had in the diary, as I heard such good things. And let me tell you it did not disappoint ! The host and staff were incredibly accommodating, friendly and knowledgeable. The food was absolutely delicious and atmosphere for a Friday night was calm for a full house. We had a feast and leftovers to take home which didn’t break the bank.

Really love this place. Food is always good. Staff and friendly, welcoming and helpful. Discovered the place around lockdown when the restaurant I had previously frequented for 30 odd years went bust, and much as it galls me to admit it, it absolutely wipes the floor with the other place. Sorry I didn’t find this place years ago. Well worth a visit.

Excellent atmosphere and tasty food. Dishes such as noodles or fried rice have plenty of flavour and are not greasy. I can personally recommend dishes such as the char siu pork and the French beans. The staff are always extremely friendly and attentive, making you feel very welcome. An fantastic restaurant to eat at in Chinatown!

Everything is delicious and the restaurant runs like a well-oiled machine. Especially recommend the grilled turnip paste, the beef ho fun and the osmanthus jelly, which is a ridiculously refreshing dessert

My favourite Chinese restaurant in the UK. The food is always delicious, no matter what you order. The staff are friendly and is always on hand to offer you suggestions. A must visit if you enjoy good tasty food.

It was a good place to try. My only issue was that the chow mein was a lot of noodles, and not too much mushrooms, or else. I may be back later, to try some other dishes.

The food was absolutely atrocious. I ordered the duck soup, the pieces of duck were just bones and fat. Would definitely avoid this restaurant, the dishes are pricey and just not enjoyable

Reasonable food, reasonable price, but mediocre service. Got charged for 2 beers we never had. My group was there until closing, so maybe an honest mistake as they were trying to close up. But other reviews cite similar issues with billing - be sure to double check yours....

Maravilloso restaurante chino. No es necesario reservar ya que acabamos de caminar hasta la puerta y nos sirvieron de inmediato. Personal amable y encantador. Rápido para tomar nuestro pedido y solo una corta espera para que llegue la comida. Las porciones son enormes, pedimos pollo rallado chow mein y bolas de cerdo rellenas. Muy sabroso y no graso. El lugar en sí es impecablemente limpio, manteles blancos que se cambian después de que cada restaurante ha terminado. Los precios son sorprendentemente razonables teniendo en cuenta que está en el corazón de Chinatown y Leicester Square. No te equivocarás al venir aquí.

Delicious food, delicious duck, although for dinner for 2 people and tea you have to be prepared to spend around 50-60 pounds. There is a rush, waiters are rushing as fast as they can because of the queue outside waiting for a table. The staff is very nice and helped me charge my phone. There is a toilet on site. I recommend this place.

We were seated quickly upon arrival, which was a good start. However, we were asked to add more items to reach a minimum spending amount per person, which wasn’t mentioned beforehand. The food arrived in a very staggered manner, with long waits between dishes, and we had to wait quite a while for the last plate to arrive. Then, as soon as we finished eating, we felt rushed to leave so they could give the table to someone else. Overall, the experience was not very pleasant due to the inconsistent service and pressure to order and leave quickly.
