Star and Garter in Oadby and Wigston

Many thanks to the Star and Garter staff who looked after us yesterday. The staff were polite and helpful , they provided an excellent buffet, that was good value for money , thank you.

first time iv been in in ages but the new owners are the best, very welcoming and freindly, could easily see this becoming my new haunt, 100% will be back :D

We live just round the corner from the pub and have always been made to feel very welcome in here and this was our main venue for watching the world cup also, such a great atmosphere

I attended the wake of my much loved brother-in-law last week. The landlord and his family did us proud. The food was delicious and plentiful with unlimited tea and coffee. Everyone was very kind on what was a difficult day for us all. The landlord even made a playlist with the my brother-in -laws favourite songs on. The room itself was very nice. If you need a party venue or fancy a skittle night please give it a try here. They all deserve to be successful. Thank you all very much.

This is a wonderful pub. We had a fun evening playing skittles. The food was excellent and the land lady provided a choice in order to fit in with dietary preferences.

Went to the comedy night as part of Leicester comedy festival, great laugh and great company. Defiantly worth going!

Want a pub with a nice atmosphere the Star and Garter is for you...the landlord, landlady and all the staff are always there to oblige....do not serve meals but the cobs are great. weekends are usually buzzing with the sports on tv. A great pub to go to.

Good local friendly pub .Good range of beers. Parking in the local street . A good night out .Just been redecorated outside and it looks good .I will be going again next week ! There are takeaway restaurants in the local are you can walk to . There are a few pubs close by if you wish to have a little pub crawl .

Organizar eventos regularmente y recientemente celebró un bolo y bastante noche aquí. No puedo alabar el pub lo suficiente. La comida era absolutamente magnífico. Todo casero (no basura), con un montón de pensamiento y esfuerzo evidente en su ejecución. La sala de eventos ha sido reformado recientemente y es de muy alto nivel. Los toques como velas en las mesas y pancartas de cumpleaños y velas a mano demuestra lo que el cuidado y la atención al detalle es en el Star y Garter. Fue una noche maravillosa y todos 30+ personas que me atendieron abrumados con la calidad de la comida, lugar y servicio.Es imposible comparar el Star & Garter con otros Pubs locales - realmente no sería justo -como Este pub es puramente fuera de su liga.Me voy a ir de nuevo? Tienes que pedir? ? Sin duda, sí, sí, sí.Star & Garter - por favor hacer comidas pub, estoy 100% seguro de que tendrá éxito.Pd: sólo he cumplía de categoría media por el precio, como 'comer barato' no reflejan la calidad. Pero es realmente no es caro y excelente relación calidad-precio.

OK. This place is 30 metres from my house. Still my favourite pub! Good range of beer's, friendly service.

Lovely Pub, Lovely Staff. Prices are great too!! Love the atmosphere that we get in here when we come in :)

We have just had a skittles party for my gran's 93rd birthday. We had a great night and the food was excellent and great value for money. I would highly recommend the Star and Garter and would not hesitate to visit again.
