Despite the low reviews on here I find the place pretty good for pizza although I ordered a rocket special and the toppings weren't right. I was looking forward to some tasty red onion and jalapeño but neither were on the pizza!? ... I'm gutted as I was looking forward to this. I'm leaving a review because i tried to call them and tell them but their phone doesn't connect.

First and last time in here. Expensive for what it is , small portions too

Food took over an hour to arrive, garlic bread was greasy & cold. Chicken was burnt and the chips were soggy and didn't come with any salt even though I asked.

Nice handmade pizza and chicken and daily deals

Went to rockets this evening and ordered 6 chicken strips and a Donna pitta. I tipped the box of chicken strips and chips with red salt out onto a plate, ate 2 pieces of my food and found a small spider in the middle of the chips. On the phone they claimed the box comes flat packed with paper inside so it may have come from there but the spider was seasoned with red salt so I doubt it.

I have been to rockets frequently now ordered a variety of different foods from the menu and never disappointed Very respectful staff and good portion sizes

Lady was very rude and aggressive towards to me and my friends for sitting down and for talking she also shouted at us because a chair moved an inch and she gave us a lot of attitude and the pizza was undercooked

Me and my family had a takeaway night which we do regularly. We got donner meat and chips and a couple other things of the menu, as the result of this both me and my brother in law have both suffered from severe food poisoning, to the point we are both being sick! I would therefore never recommend this awful place to anyone and will definitely be taking it further……

Decent choice of food, but prices have gone up and quality down. Chicken can be dry and tough. Pizzas are OK, but base can be thin and soft, not crispy.

I ordered the The Wednesday special chicken and donner nan and some chips. (As they don't come with the order.) But chicken and donner wasn't that special. It looked fantastic, my mouth was dripping like a tap needing a new washer! But it wasn't that good. It was like you thinking you bought a Bentley and it ends being a Yaris. The nan bread was cold, hard and tasteless. The chicken was cold and dry and was in need of some seasoning... The donner was OK, but cold again. I ordered chilli sauce but there was hardly any on. I did spot it when I scratched my eye. The reason they got 1 star was because of the chips... They where the only good bit of it. They were crispy and had red salt on them. But anybody can fry some chips and buy some red salt and give it little sprinkle... Wish I took a picture now before throwing it now. But I am not rooting through NO bin with my short arms!

To be brutally honest they don’t even deserve the 1 star food was terrible chicken was raw pizza was soggy I am a food man and I don’t think I could ever say I’ve eaten a worse take away in my life from eating bad food abroad that definitely tops it all absolutely shocking staff arguing over pay place stunk doesn’t look like it has been cleaned for years honestly couldn’t run a piss up in a brewery IN OTHER WORDS STAY AWAY IF YOU WANT TO LIVE ANOTHER DAY!!!!!

Just been in to get a kebab and was told there was a twenty minute wait because the girl who did the kebabs had gone on her break never known anything like it what a joke

Order food ask for chips in a bag on there own as go soggy with the chicken, when ordered said that was fine, arrived in the box soggiest chip. Rang to complain, they said that how it is, not helpful and don't care

Amazing food and service! Went in on Wednesday before Christmas and was really happy to try their Large mixed kebab in a naan - really soft flavoured chicken & donner meat. My partner got a chicken tower burger & Meat feast pizza (which has a proper kick to it!) Would highly recommend, the girls are really helpful in there & the owner too. We loved it so much we are going again tonight!!

Ordered 6 meals plus extra bits and every meal was awful. 2/3 pieces of chicken was not cooked. Pop corn chicken hard. Garlic bread just edible.. 4/6 Meals went straight in the bin. The other 2 got picked at and followed shortly into the bin. we used to visit regularly but after tonight NEVER AGAIN absolutely disgusting 🤢.. think the environmental health needs to check this food out !!

Honestly the worst kebab I've ever eaten, pitiful excuse of a chicken kebab, the chicken was plain chicken beat, very bland, salad was sloppy and wilted, tasted disgusting, donner kebab meat was awful, tasted wrong and lots of pieces were crispy and inedible. Will not be returning, this unfortunately isn't the first or even second time I've been disappointed, won't be doing it again that's for sure. Also, who in the world runs a kebab house and has never heard of thousand island and doesn't do it, insane!

Absolutely love the food,especially the pizzas iv had em 2days in a row. Tonight will be my 3rd ha. Perfect everytime. The staff r polite n make a great team. Brilliant service 👏 keep it up guys

We came in last night and the chicken was nice

Where to start! First of all the staff are so rude. When I say staff I mean the 3 kids it's run by. They have no idea what they are doing, one didn't even know how to turn off the chip fryer. One gobby member of staff was complaining about having to make a pizza I ordered whilst I was stood there. She was very loud and her language and attitude was awful. No one was wearing hair nets and 2 staff were seen messing with there hair several times before touching food. Staff were swearing and shouting. Very unprofessional and disgusting customer service. Food- ordered over the phone to collect. Once collected and home the order was missing items. The kebab meat was hard and stale, the pizza was overcooked on top but the base was undercooked so I took the food back. After getting the missing items and replacement kebab whilst listening to the staff complain and swear we returned home. After messing around for 45 minutes to get our order correct we then found a black hair inside the chicken wing 🤮 safe to say the rest of the food went in the bin. Waste of £45. This place used to be our go to takeaway but since it stopped being run by adults it's gone massively down hill and overpriced for zero quality. They stopped serving pizzas at 8:30pm but yet I saw someone leave with a pizza just before 9pm. We WON'T be going again!

Absolute dive the service is shocking by chubby male staff who we ordered a kebab meat with salad and sweet chilly sauce on phone. Got there and he passed it over after going nowhere near the kebab after getting home 2 minutes later its not even luke warm and all dried up old meat thats certainly not fresh then purposely ignore phone. He might like his food like that or any way it comes but the mrs definitely not eating it and won't order over phone again or probably from the establishment. If I could add a picture I would but not sure how. The sweet chilli sauce is swimming all in bottom of tray not one bit on top only fresh bit is the salad.

Kebab was disgusting, it was burn’t to a crisp and smelled bad. Burger and chips were ok although the chips were cold.

Were to begin...... ordered our food waited 20 min plus even though we were the only ones in store and no other orders. Lad serving us looked like he had just got out of bed, and couldn't wake up simple order of 4 meals.. he told us 10 mins for a pizza even though he got the other items ready, 10 mins later the girl chucked away our chips and re did them, got home and had 2 cans which were both wrong and a kebab covered in chilly sauce instead of garlic mayo. I tried to think how chilly sauce and garlic mayo sounded the same, tried saying it out loud a few times..... but no they don't sound remotely similar. kebab in the bin waste of money (you like what you like and that's why you asked for it). not sure how vimto and diet pepsi sound like 7up and tango, if the girls serve you then you might get what you ordered, but try not to wake the lad he clearly needs his sleep or a change in job

Absolutely disgraceful service .2 hours for a 10 min delivery ..cold pizza soggy base.attidude and lies beyond believe when called to check on order ..no apologies offered but verbal abuse ..the pizza was not editable and binned .avoid this excuse for a take away at all cost ..if anything needs reporting to the trading standards which we have done.

Got a fillet burger meal deal bun was hard the chicken was hard not enough mayo on the piece of chicken was ok the chips was ok won’t go again sorry

So disappointed with our order,we have got frozen chicken meat and donner kebab when ordered mixed kebab. The naan was not even cooked . We used to have kebabs from other shops across Preston and this is the worst take away ever.1mile away from the shop and the food gone very cold,when we got home.had to put in the bin straight away. What a rubbish place 😒 waste of money.

first time hubby got me chicken and chips tea time special nothing special about it only live a cross the road all stone cold. took it back hubby got asked why is it cold dont know was his reply. came home with chips hot same old chicken out of oven a load of rubbish. when you have kids that dont care about what they send you home with the owner needs to do something about this as it is not the first time its gone in the bin, but it will be the last time as it is we pay tax on hot food. at times we have had their rubbish food were chicken is so dried out but what do you expect when there are only kids paid peanuts. there is only one sever that gives you what you are paying for proper hot good food, shame she cant work 7 days a week. my advise is go to the docks and get Kentucky service is good and food hot if not at least they apologies and put it right. DONT WAIST YOUR MONEY!!!!!! Load of rubbish

A really good kebab. Plenty of meat, fresh and spicy with lashings of hot chilli sauce and masses of crisp salad. To be honest one of the best kebabs I've had. Will definitely return.

Good food in decent size portions served by great staff. This review also includes Evans Fish & Chips right next door. Their spam fritters are the best!! Whichever you choose you'll get great value for money.

Top quality food at very reasonable prices and very loyal and friendly staff. Although there were times on which I had to wait quite a while for one of the staff to answer the phone as at certain times they are very busy which I do understand as they have alot of other customers to serve aswell as me wanting to place my order. When I got there my food was ready and it was just as how I wanted it. I have been going there for many years and have not had any problems at all. Definitely would continue going there as a regular customer if I say so myself.

I had calzone it definitely wasnt a traditional calzone and I didn't like it at all but in the most part it is what is is typical chicken takeaway.

Ordered 3 meals and Specifically said no red salt on all 3 meals, order arrived and all the meals where drowned in red salt😡! U would give zero stars if I could, not ordering from you ever again!

Always very friendly staff. Not a bad word to say about anything I have ordered. Very hard to find a takeaway which is good at everything like jonny rockets!! Used to be a really good takeaway as you can see from my review four years ago. A lot has changed since. Staff are now rude, get orders wrong and customer service is awful. I went last night half an hour before they shut and less than half of the menu wasn't available because they were shutting soon. 'we've turned most things off so we can get out at half passed 9 when we shut' another customer came in he said I'll be back in minute to order after finding out most things were now off the menu.....the girl said ohh you don't have to come back we're shutting soon and I want to go home. Embarrassing. The food we got was average, nuggets overcooked more like shot puts! The cheesy garlic bread was so uncooked it was only just warm. It's been going down hill for a while now, I used to be regular customer but unfortunately I won't be returning again.

The food tastes alright for a takeaway as long as it’s what you ordered. Gave it 3 chances and each time was wrong. First two times they sorted it but third they can’t because it was reported straight away (we didn’t know until the next morning the calzone filling was wrong)

Super friendly and helpful staff. We ordered the peri peri chicken with mango chilli, chips and salad. The red salted chips were perfectly crispy and hot, the salad was fresh and crunchy and the chicken was well seasoned and really tasty. Best takeout we've had in a long time! This will be our go-to for takeout food from now on. And just around the corner! Brilliant!

This place well what can i say honestly The Best Parmesan i've had. Everything is made to perfection and 10/10 for taste and Quality in the food. Defo obe to try if u have not done already. Its defo got the WOW FACTOR. WELL DONE TEAM ROCKET. WILL BE BACK SOON. QUALITY, TASTE AND SERVICE WAS JUST EXCELLENT. KEEP UP GOOD WORK.

Ordered a chicken kebab. Got it home and it was burnt. No other flavor, just burnt. As I was that hungry and too far away I didn't go back but won't be getting a chicken kebab from them again. Pizza's are great.

Very disappointed on this occasion very little chicken in mine & hubby’s kebab, hope there not cutting back on their potion sizes due to COVID to recoup their losses.....

We ordered a Kabab and chicken popcorn at 20:37. Over an hour later we rang and was told the driver had been arrested by the police for no insurance. We were promised delivery soon after. Now 22:25 still and no delivery. When I rang I was told the food was delivered. Lies I’m afraid, stood at gate 21:40 until 22:20. Lies lies lies Very happy to discuss in person. You tell lies which for a company is disgusting. Happy to meet face to face to discuss.

Food is always lovely and so are the staff,never had anything bad to say about it.

Some things are done well and some not so well and it's a shame the not do well out weighs the things done well. The kebabs here are nice .. You get plenty for your money and the meats not overly greasy. The flat bread is nice and you get a good mix of salad. The chicken buckets are a mixed bag .. The meat is juicy and cooked well but the coating us very bland. The burgers sadly the presentation let's them down. I've had the chicken burger and my partner had had the rocket burger .. We both agreed the meat part was tasty .. But there was so much sauce on the bun that it just disintegrate in your hands when you tried to pick it up. Sadly when we rang to give feedback on the burgers we were met with a reply of "well that's how we do our burgers"

went in to order and waited half hr just for 2 x chicken burger meals I asked for one meal not to have cucumber on the burger so after waiting so long I thought I would check the order They had put cucumber on so I asked for a fresh burger as my son would be sick if this was on his burger The assistant took the cucumber off the burger and chucked it in the bin I asked her to make a fresh one when I got home my son was eating his burger and said I cant eat it as I can taste cucumber so they didnt make a fresh one after all Everything was cold didnt enjoy it at all

Visited this takeaway and ordered the johnny rockets special pizza, Its consists of the following toppings: meatballs, chicken,mushroom, jalapenos,red onions and sweetcorn. I believe this pizza can be improved by using different toppings. The ones chosen do not mix very well with each other. I would also marinate the meatballs and chicken, this would enhance the flavour too. The current taste was very bland of these toppings Also, the use of a better cheese would increase flavor too And try some herbs too, thyme would be great due to the high quantity of meat.

The place has went way downhill. Young and not so nice staff. Boneless box with bones in .Rude and in apologetic after charging £2 delivery on an order where they got everything wrong.

Absolutely disgraceful service and staff attitude really needs to be addressed, wrong orders, blaming customers, staff arguing, customer service needs completely sorted .

So I was told this place was decent so decided to give it a try... Wish I hadn't. The quality of the food doesn't match the price. I'd of expected decent quality food but unfortunately my expectations were not met whatsoever. We placed a biggish order nothing confusing all straight forward. BUT still this was not simple enough for the staff to follow. Drinks that came with the meals were not present aswell with the sides wasn't present Was contemplating to call and complain but decided it wasn't worth the free minutes calling to get the items delivered. Also the 3 female members of staff are preparing orders without the appropriate hygiene requirements eg no hair nets or gloves. The gentleman who has a beard wasnt wearing any hygiene equipment either which is rather worrying especially in this pandemic crisis So from this I will not be recommending or returning to this establishment again.

If i could rate 0 i would. Ordered at 7pm tonight. It's 10.20pm. No food has arrived yet the update in foodhub claims it has been delivered. Can't even contact the takeaway directly as the phone has been out of action for hours. Utterly appalled and will not use again

Rang up to place order and women picked up the phone and put it straight back down well I say put down she didnt and left me on the phone and her exact words was I cant be ar*ed answering the phone too busy, absolute shocking customer service if I was the owner i would never have anyone as rude as that working for my company disgrace especially when I love there food but I will never return after that no way. I waited for 12 minutes blasting music down the phone waiting to get her a piece of my mind but when she finally heard the music she hung straight up and now it's been engaged for 25 minutes. Jokers

Hit and miss.. I had mixed experience. Love the spicy pizza and chicken. But somehow I get the ones looks like double fried from yesterday 😔.. Usually great if you get the fresh batch.

Just ordered a chilli burger and boneless meal large..got home to find there was no salad or chilli sauce on burger and wasnt asked if I wanted it..I also had to remind staff member..did u put the beans in the bag..Burger seemed dry without salad and sauce..Sorry guys

If your passing this place , then carry on passing and go to an outlet were they appreciate your custom Went in on friday 24th of january ordered a mixed kebab £7.80 on the advertising board said with piles of salad , when order was ready the person behind the counter is shouting order 102 then after several times she decides oh yes its 101 ok we all make mistakes . Got the kebab home the nan bread was out of a packet and stone cold the doner meat was ok , the chicken on the kebab still slightly frozen in middle and the piles of salad consisted of a few shreds of lettuce and one slice of tomato So if you fancy a kebab go where they actually know how to make them.

Went to rockets on Wednesday , when we got the food home , the donner meat was dry and to be quite frank was inedible , then my son was half way through the kebab after removing the donner and found a long hair , we immediately went back and spoke to a girl with a tan and long black hair , her attitude was awful and said that no one had dark hair working there and said that the donner meat was fresh lol she argued with me then she rang the manager who gave me £5.50 back WILL NOT BE GOING BACK THERE terrible customer service !!

Food is good but please CHANGE YOUR TIMES on google as it says you are open until 11 but it is 22:30 that you are open till

I visited yesterday teatime and the shop was empty. I asked for a 3 piece meal deal. When the guy put it through the till I noticed it said £4 and I know the deal is £4.50 so I asked if that included a drink to which he replied yes. I checked again and he had put a 2 piece deal instead of 3. I told him I wanted a 3 piece and he abruptly said no you said 2. I said well I would like 3 pieces. He then huffed and puffed and said well I will just charge you for an extra piece of chicken which came up on the till at £1.60. I said no I’m not paying £1.60 it’s only 50p I owe you. He threw my £1 back on the counter and said oh just leave it I will put it in after it’s too much messing on the till! He was very angry when he said it. To top it off when I got the food home it was awful. The chips used to be the best in Preston but not any more. They were cold too. It’s a shame it’s gone downhill as we used to live this place. Needless to say I won’t be back after the attitude and the food. Will go next door to Evans chippy like other people are doing.

Ordered the chicken and rice the rice was all sticky and clumped together the chicken was even hot. Clearly all reheated. Absolutely horrible got home and left the whole thing
