The best restaurants serving American food in England

We came to TGI Bournemouth today for Lunch. I am on a diet and everything on the menu looked quite overwhelming. I spoke to the manager (Rob) explained my predicament, he put me at ease straightaway and assured me that he would personally prepare me a high protein salad. The dish I was served was utterly sublime!! Chicken and egg salad with so much goodness and flavor!! The atmosphere was happy, friendly and welcoming! Rob was extremely professional and an excellent host! I cannot recommend TGIs enough.

Started queuing at 10.50 with a sign up saying wait time for food was 8 mins. Got seated quickly enough mmjw to be told it was lunch menu only. Disappointed but ordered anyway. After 40 mins still my food. That's simply not good enough when you're trying to catch a flight. Really bad show. 👎

Burger bun stale. Garlic bread stale. Pizza poor (just like it came from the supermarket frozen section). Server not really bothered when I reported this. Won’t return.

Great service and friendly my 6 year old who normally struggles with eating out,loved it and Becky Was superb little man is already asking to go back which is rare for him.

I booked a last minute overnight trip to Chessington and got a great deal. It was mine and my daughter’s first ‘girls trip’ and I excitedly booked our breakfast and dinner at the restaurants in the hotel. Closer to the trip I looked at reviews here and was genuinely terrified. It was with some trepidation we arrived for dinner, my expectations were VERY low! Let me tell you, I need not have worried. Staff were lovely, I mean SUPER nice, the place was spotless with plenty of seating. The theming was brilliant with TV ‘windows’ showing various jungle critters and they had a really cool leaf cutter ant colony running around the restaurant seating perimeter which was fascinating to watch. Whilst not the most elaborate buffet I have ever seen, my (picky) eater and I both enjoyed 3 courses and left full and happy. My daughter particularly enjoyed the battered chicken chunks, which were real breast meat and not usual nugget mulch. My nachos with chilli were delicious. The roast beef was too tough for my liking but the veggies were all excellent and there were so many puddings we struggled to chose! It is a bit more on the pricey side, but we went with our water bottle and a drink purchased from the bar and as we are Merlin passholders, benefited from a 20% discount. I wouldn’t hesitate to visit again on my next trip. Chessington do a great job on training their staff on customer service. Every staff member who passed by gave a smile or stopped to check we were ok and would happily chat if we initiated conversation. One staff member in particular was super, I think his name was Issac but as I say everyone was lovely ☺️

Asistimos aquí utilizando el Wowcher de £ 20, que es una gran relación calidad-precio de un menú fijo. Puedes tener un entrante y un principal, o un principal y un postre. Nos pareció que el servicio era aceptable - estaban un poco estirados. Pensamos que la comida era buena y volvería.

The staff that we were served by were lovely and deserve to be told that. As for the food and the experience, I haven’t been for years and the new branding just doesn’t work for us. The food is basic, no presentation in the dishes we had and the restaurant was quite dirty. The food was nice what we had tho and I would go back to try again if we were passing. Thanks to our server, I would mention her but she didn’t leave a name on our receipt (:

Ordered through UberEats. We got two burgers, two sexy fries and a mac and cheese.The burger bun was dry, the sexy fries were absolutely nothing like the photos and at a whopping £5 each, I would have expected something half presentable. The Mac and cheese was an absolute joke. We got the side but there were barely two spoons of Mac and cheese in a tub which was 10% full. See pictures. You can see the shadow on the outside of the tub which indicates how full the Mac and cheese tub was.We tried to call the restaurant to complain but no answer and auto response from ubereats telling us feedback will be passed on.I’ll never order again from here.

After a fun filled day of family activities, my daughter begged to go to one of her favourite restaurant chains and, since we thought you can’t go wrong at Frankie & Bennies, we decided to visit. How wrong we were. Drinks were brought reasonably quick and, despite being just soft drinks, were the highlight of our visit as they were the only thing that would turn our correct! When ordering our food, my sister was informed her first option was unavailable due to there being no halloumi and, after choosing an alternative, told she’d be unable to have sweet potato fries due to them being out of stock too. No big issue though as original fries were fine. So, we sat back and waited for our food. Twenty minutes later and a new server appeared to explain that there were no fries in stock… yes, no fries. Miraculously, they could give us sweet potato fries which were in stock - the original server having simply mistaken “low stock” for no stock. Sadly, only my sister eats them so we decided to pay for the drinks and leave. The new server then went to speak to the manager and returned to ensure us that we could have the food for free as we’d already waited some time and they did not want us to leave hungry. In the end, we got our main items served with these fried dough o’s you’d probably expect to see on a child’s plate. I won’t lie, they were rather bland but edible enough to eat and subdue our hunger. We ended up getting our drinks free too due to the massive disaster that was unfolding before us as other staff were sitting more customers and not informing them of the items out of stock - our original server humbly avoiding all her original tables and serving the new tables - we overheard her again offer fries so I pity the rest of the evening for the staff. The only positive we have from the night was our new server who was an absolute gem to us and to everyone else. She was the one apologising to everyone and trying to find solutions, she was the one apprehending the chefs for not updating servers on the stock updates, she was the one who ran to new customers who had sat down to inform them of the stock issues before letting them make an order they couldn’t complete. I wish I had gotten her name as she deserves a lot of praise as she was the only server doing the hard work but alas, I did not. All I can say was she had dark hair and an accent and seemed to take pride about her job in which she has clearly a lot of experience! Sadly though, this experience makes me want to avoid not only this particular Frankie & Benny’s, but the brand itself in the future.

Tenían dos mesas de billar que aceptaban pagos sin contacto. Estos rara vez funcionaban. La máquina también tomó monedas pero nuevamente se negó a trabajar. El personal no parecía interesado en que perdiéramos bastante dinero en estas mesas y no hicimos nada al respecto. Cuando llegamos a jugar, las mesas eran muy desiguales y mal cuidadas. Por la cantidad que cobran por un juego, uno pensaría que cuidarían mejor las mesas. En los tableros de dardos. Tienen dos tablas en una zona muy estrecha. Muy poco margen de maniobra cuando dos personas juegan a la vez. Un ligero lapso de concentración al recuperar tus dardos podría verte golpeado por dardos de la otra tabla. La otra cosa más extraña de esto fue que no hay máquinas de puntuación, lo que sí sucede en algunos pubs, pero tampoco ni siquiera pizarras para tiza sus puntuaciones. Mantener puntuaciones en tu teléfono no es lo más ideal para echar un vistazo rápido al lanzar. Pobre show. La zona es un tamaño muy agradable y tiene el potencial de ser un pequeño gran lugar para fiestas privadas, etc. Lamentablemente los precios, la falta de cuidado de las instalaciones y la comodidad a la hora de jugar hace que le dé los pulgares abajo. Una mejor gestión de esto podría hacer que sea uno de los mejores lugares en Londres para piscina y dardos. Esperemos que los propietarios puedan aprovechar un bar deportivo increíble potencial.

Ordered a takeaway through JustEat, who conveniently won't let me leave a review. Food was stone cold, ordered chicken with 2 carbonaras, neither had any, and one even lacked the bacon! Complete lack of care when contacting the restaurant, pretty much told it wasn't their problem. Do NOT waste your money
