Service wasn't great. 2 tables that arrive after, received their food before my table. My pasta was dry couldn't eat it. Wasn't asked if our food was ok. This was at Ashton-under-Lyne.

Booked to catch up with a friend. Booked even though we needn’t have it was very quiet. Looked at the menu and was torn between pizza and arrabbiata pasta. Went with the pasta - we both did. Ordered drinks, only cola as we were both driving. The pasta arrived, smelt nice. Tasted awful! Well, I say tasted awful but it didn’t taste of anything! Masses of green chilli’s though. It appeared like the pasta had just been plain boiled and tossed in a sauce as and when required. The actual spirali pasta tasted of nothing. The sauce was barely there - maybe a couple of tablespoons that’s it. We were using a taste card upon payment which was supposed to cover food and drink but was only put against the food. So disappointed. Won’t be going back.

I asked a member of staff and the manager for a quiet spot on the corner for my autistic son they stright up refused as there wasn’t enough staff. I’ll never ever go back

Ordered Mac and cheese which was cold and lumpy (not nice) chicken burger which was too tough to bite through … garlic bread pizza which was hard to bite and meatballs which were not nice .. sticky chicken wings which were not sticky and felt uncooked. Chips were nice but that’s all.Totally disappointed and price was £57 cannot believe it

Me and my girlfriend have had issues with ordering from the service known as Puddo which actually resides in Frankie and Benny’s Trowbridge. It offers delicious desserts to your door should you ever feel the need to satisfy your sweet tooth but don’t want to venture out. Sadly our experience again recently was anything but sweet. The delivery time changed twice before actually receiving the order (this was problematic as it was closer to the kids bed time.) Once the desserts arrived admittedly it was presented decently in separate boxes etc. but what those boxes contained was a calorific disaster. Cold waffles, not even cooked and we both remarked about the bananas on top having an odd taste, definitely not fresh. My girlfriend had the cheesecake which we could only assume had been sunbathing as it was sloppy, warm and had a taste like it was on the turn. I’ve never eaten cheesecake and thought of cheese so literally. The base was somewhat edible but we don’t buy a cake for just the base do we? The ice cream was terrible. I can only describe it as some off-brand cold mud. As the ice running through out had given it a somewhat gritty texture. Overall I can only assume ‘Puddo’ is some sort of term I’ve never heard of for ‘crap.’ 25 quid wasted and never returning. Avoid.

Arrived was greeted instantly. ordered food got starters quickly the Fully Loaded Potato Skins were dry and not very warm. Had to wait 40 minutes for mains, had no drinks while we waited as the QR code table order was not working and the servers were not attentive, my partners Classic Cheese burger was sat on the side waiting for 15 minutes before being served was cold and the presentation wasn't good. Wasn't very busy. Will not being going again due to poor food, poor service, and long wait.

Terrible meal pizza had only half of the filling and was badly burnt. We didn't need to complain as a member of staff spotted the problem and arranged a suitable credit. Great customer service.

Absolutely shocking from start to finish! Went for special occasion and non of the staff knew what offers they had, got it but felt uncomfortable as had to argue the toss. Customer service doesn’t exist and management is even worse. No air con/fans in 28 degree heat so we were all far too hot, therefore didn’t enjoy meal and couldn’t wait to leave. Safe to say we won’t be returning which is a shame as we used to go quite a lot.

Well I've eaten at other francie and bunny's and everything has been OK but this particular restuarant was poor to put it midly . I was in the restuarant and at the time I was there there was 3 staff serving and only 4 or 5 groups of people none larger than 4 the service was slow my server was a gentleman who was rude and argumentative to say the least he struggled to understand what I was pointing out to him .I had ordered cajun chicken wrap with no mayonnaise as described on menu so as I see it and everywhere else I have eaten the chicken is cooked in spices not here apparently its plain chicken and the cajun part is mayonnaise I questioned this and the server was aggressive in his manner I tried to explain cajun chicken should have spices on it now on the menu it says cajun chicken and cajun mayonnaise again I tried to explain it should explain on menu if it's only the mayonnaise is cajun again he was rude it also took him 15 minutes to bring my drink when the restuarant was very quite .I will not be rushing back to this restuarant again .

If you’re thinking about ordering a desert. Don’t order Puddos. I ordered the Biscoff waffle and it was complete opposite from what it is! It came with bananas which looked like it was just thrown on, the chocolate sauce absolutely smothered to the point it was all over the box. And don’t forget the waffle being Stone cold! My partner is allergic to bananas and when I called up to complain apparently it comes with banana. But my argument is, that there is no full description of what is on the waffle but as you expect the BISCOFF waffle with a picture of Biscoff sauce and biscuits the waffle wouldn’t have banana on it? Spoke to the “manager” and she wasn’t even sorry about the allergens more apologetic about the quality, and got told to just complain to Deliveroo. Paid £35 for what? No drinks, food can’t eat, ice cream melted to the max. Awful awful awful. Stay away, awful food, awful service skills

Poor cooked food. Squid starter was greasy and half were scraps of squid. Chicken wings were ok Chicken Burger greasy and over cooked. Meatball pizza unappetising. 6 hours later still feel sickly

Had a lovely meal here today, the daytime menu is great value and served very quickly indeed. The service of our waitress Kelly was fabulous, been served by her before she’s attentive and friendly and is a credit to the restaurant.

Attentive staff. Food absolutely delicious and hot. Unfortunately we had to wait quite a while for our desserts to be served. However the young waitress who served us kept coming and apologising to us for the delay. The next thing the waitress advised us that we would not be charged for the desserts. Very impressed as this was totally unexpected and showed really good customer service. Would definitely recommend Ashtons Restaurant. Sorry no pics. 🍽

Today we attended the restaurant we once loved with our children who was super excited we walked into the restaurant and it’s charm is GONE not an ounce left it’s all grey colourless, a fresh lick of paint absolutely needed but it’s all gone it’s grey up on grey with black seats not the Frankie’s we remember at all food was appalling and the staff are miserable all walking round in black jackets like grim Reaper’s you expect a bubbly extremely colourful loud, happy, waiter, or waitress, and that’s not what we experienced today one bit once up on a time going in here was an experience all on its own, regardless of the food but no I’ve had better food from giant fast food chains such a shame

Whilst I cannot fault the Food & Service the Ladies toilets were disgusting.... 3 cubicles all Full of waste not flushed...dirty...no toilet paper in any cubicle..Sinks dirty floor dirty... Considering Covid-19 still amongst us I found this unacceptable... I mentioned it to an employee..but still hadn't cleaned up before I left.... Grandaughter couldn't use the Toilet as I couldn't either.

Went for my granddaughter’s end of work experience ordered 4 meals 3 was nice but mine was unedible i went for the 3 course meal after 5 offer starter was good main was uneatable the burger was rock hard burnt and the bun was rock solid told the lovely waitress and she asked what I would like to do about it ( she should have said I’m so sorry we won’t be charging you for it as I have worked in food places for years ) won’t be returning to there again as I was trained if you won’t eat it yourself Dont serve it and it wasn’t that busy very disappointed ☹️

Kids were starving and Ash Tree Farm was full, so we came to Frankie & Benny’s as a last resort! I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food but I have to say it was really expensive at £115 for 4 adults & 3 kids. The staff were lovely and very attentive, even though it was a busy Sunday afternoon. We didn’t have to wait long for the food either. But a word of warning - the sauce on the vegan meatballs was way too spicy for me! Desserts are all around £6 and you don’t get a huge portion. You’d probably be better off coming during the week and going for the set menu.

Myself and my husband visit very regular for breakfast. We are always well looked after by Carlos. He is very attentive and know how to look after his guest. Breakfast is always delicious and very enjoyable. Thank you Carlos for always being amazing.

You know what you get with F&B and the meals are good., But the prices keep going up and hte value is not going with it. If you have Meerkat and there's 2 of you , then it's a good deal. Otherwise look elsewhere.

Arrived after make a reservation a few days previous and the place was packed. Not many staff appeared to be on shift and we’re back and forth like mad. Despite this, we were sprayed quickly and the ordering process went well. I ordered the wrapped dog and my partner ordered the mac n cheese and garlic bread. The food was delicious and was served within around 20 minutes. When it came to paying the bill, we waited over 25 minutes and in the end had to go to the bar ourselves. We understand this is due to the amount of customers and work load but it did put a downer on the experience.

Arrived and was please to see finding a seat wasn’t go to be an issue, no wonder. The staff are nice enough, but the food is disgusting. I feel sick. Chicken platter consisted of very dry breaded chicken, burnt chicken wings and partially cooked onion rings. That had to go back. The replacement was better, but it could hardly have been worse. My daughter had to return the steak which was supposed to be medium rare , but arrived well done with cold sauce. The pizza had to be returned as it was partially cold. The salmon was dry and the sauce, was it sauce? Couldn’t be bothered to ask. The chips, surely most places can’t go wrong with a portion of chips , very dry and cold. I will never come here again. On the upside , I started my diet sooner than I intended as I’m put off eating for the rest of the day

Visited Sunday lunch and after walking out of 1 restaurant was encouraged to see that frankie & bennys had plenty of available tables. In fact I was very surprised at this.

After waiting 15 minutes to receive a tap water we ordered our food. My partner ordered bbq chicken and ribs and they came and were awful. It was just plain chicken and plain ribs with barbecue sauce put on top, for £16 it was ridiculous. I ordered mac and cheese and it was a small portion and not as advertised with a crunchy top. Overall very poor meal that was not worth the money spent.

I had a burger with chips e.t.c. very well cooked and presented came via the waiter Jay who was very attentive and obviously knew the job (thanks Jay). all in all goods reasons to revisit

Took family for lunch today - service was slow and poor. Food was awful! We ordered chicken variety sharer for 3-4 people, firstly part of food was missing but could not get attention of a waiter to complain, grilled chicken was barely warm, chicken wings burnt but still not hot and southern fried very crispy! Cheese garlic bread, the base was very floury and too much garlic if there is such a thing! Paid for what was an expensive lunch but would not return in a hurry!

We were looking for somewhere to go for tea when one of my stepsons said can we go here. It’s been a long time since we’ve been here so we thought why not. Service was great to be honest but my food was crap. I ordered the New York giant pizza. It basically looked as though it had been thrown together by a blind person. I even asked the waitress for a menu and asked her if I had the correct pizza. The picture had full size meatballs and thick pieces of chicken and looked very appetising. When I received it, it had little and I mean little pieces of meatballs and 2 pieces of chicken. There was loads of onion and tomato and was all held together with a sweet substance that I think was supposed to be barbecue sauce. It’s been a while since we’ve been here and I’m afraid to say it will be another while since we return. Complete waste of money don’t bother. The reason for 2 stars and not 1 is because our waitress was good.

Myself, my husband and daughter and husband and her in laws went here on saturday 23/03/19 for a meal to celebrate my daughters wedding anniversary.

We visited frankie and bennys on saturday the 23/03/19 fpr my daighters wedding anniversaty, there were 6 of us.

A charming but clearly overworked waiter seated us at a less-than-clean table and brought us less-than-clean cutlery. Two of the first three things we tried to order were unavailable, and the beer when it came was obviously watered-down. I think the fact that my glass kept sticking to the table was just about the final straw, and if my companions had been willing we would have gone somewhere else instead. There was a time when Frankie and Benny's was a wonderful place to go for special occasions, a real treat, but it seems to have moved downmarket in a big way and to be cutting margins right and left, and the food is just not good enough to make it anything other than a last resort. I don't think I'll bother trying another branch in future, especially not when there's a TGI Friday within reach. Sad, I know, but unfortunately nothing lasts forever.

I am tempted to give it a POOR rating but there are good days but largely when busy it's a series of misses

Myself and my missus went for a meal out at Frankies and Bennys, we live in Warrington and our local F&B; is great so had no initial hesitations.

I would never eat in here again. The service was shocking and I was left starving and had to eat elsewhere. The food was shocking, my burger was cold, tasteless and like eating rubber. The portions were very small and the chips were cold and hard. My daughter got fried chicken and it was also cold and hard and a waste of money.
