Kfc in Tameside

They got the order completely wrong and took ages to prepare it so I was left having to eat it. Slow and incompetent.

Ordered a bargin bucket for delivery, no fries, phoned to complain, no refund, no delivery later, and they hung up. How are they still In business with such terrible customer services.

If it was possible to score zero I would. This is the worst KFC I’ve ever had. The food wasn’t fresh and the size of the pieces was a joke. The fillets were not much wider than a pencil and I’m not sure if the the breast was from a chicken or a sparrow. I will never go here again.

After several bad experiences with this restaurant, time has passed and I was persuaded by the children to give it another go. This has to be the worst KFC in the whole of England. I have no idea where they get their staff but their inability to correctly add 4 meals to a bag is astonishing. I get human error, but incompetence on every occasion I have visited?? They miss not just one or two items but several at a time and even whole meals. The food is below standard and certain items they did add to the bag were inedible (chicken wings covered in feathers, black chips, gravy too thick you could stand a spoon up in it and coleslaw which had a slight fizzy taste). Never again.

If they was a lower rate that 0 I would give them do NOT ORDER take away from there not all your order will come and when you try to chase it up you don’t get an answer basically robbed me paid for product I never got

Ordered food to be delivered. Arrived over an hour later than promised, stone cold and completely incorrect. I ordered a colonels meal, gravy, fries and a drink. All I received was a buffalo wrap and a miniature chicken burger! No receipt with the order so refusing a refund too! Absolutely appalling.

Oh my word. Went through drive thru, got wrong order lucky I checked. Went inside spoke manager told him what order was . He got part of it wrong aswell. Never re checked with him being the manager. Got home to find it wrong n stuff missing . Terrible.

I ordered a KFC bucket with 6 pieces chicken and 4 chips + coleslaw. It took almost 1 hour to deliver . I only received 4 small pieces chicken with the 4 Chips and the coleslaw was warm. I payed £23.96 . I was furious as was the worst KFC I have had in my lifetime. It says a lot to me about that KFC and the management as can’t get the order correct. Never again would I order from this place. It’s not even worth one star.

Visited the restaurant to grab a quick bite whilst out shopping this weekend and I wasn’t sure what to expect. My husband and I wanted to sit inside but the bins were quite full and a few tables still had rubbish left on them. The staff were completely pleasant and the value for food is cheap and cheerful but may be next time I’ll drop in when it’s a little less busy

All I ordered was a popcorn chicken snack box and was waiting 30 minutes for it to be done and 15 minutes to even be served this is a joke I will not be coming here again

I have tried KFC in Hyde a couple of times and each time it gets worse. Today was the final straw, never will I visit that site again. It is run by kids, it is dirty and the service is disgusting.

Rubbish got out take out meal cold no straws napkins salt they were not busy just stood around gossiping

Ordered via the mobile app tonight, the app clearly states you can collect at the drive thru window, which is what I planned to do when collecting my order. The kid on the drive thru till had to go and check my order when I gave him the number then came back and said I couldn’t collect from the drive thru but had to go and park up and collect in store. So I had to then wait 10 minutes in the car queue to park up. I asked the girl at the drive thru window if she could just give me my order as I didn’t want to go in the store with the current covid 19 situation especially in the Hyde area, she said no I couldn’t and would have to come inside to get it. Ridiculous!! I collected it from in the restaurant and it was sat there in a bag ready about three feet from where the girl was stood when I was at the drive thru!! When I got home half my order was missing even through it had a “checked and sealed” sticker on it. I’ll never go to KFC Hyde again, it’s run by and employs idiots.

Never had a decent meal from this KFC!! The staff are rude! Young kids calling customers stupid!Put a complaint in and heard nothing back! Tried it again Benifit of the doubt and received the worst meal ever not fresh and half missing!Frankly I wouldn’t bother wasting my time or money! Might as well shut this place down it’s a joke to any other KFCThe chain has gone down hill!!!!!Get the staff trained in customer service that would be a start! Then train the chefs how to cook and serve fresh food!!!!!

Yet again the App reader is not working "system is down" I am told. This happens so often. I get my meals for the family and make it home..SURPRISE SURPRISE I'm missing 2 items. I clearly made a point of mentioning that I always have items missing and the lady offered to double check..she even said as she handed me the bags of food "Don't worry, I've double checked everything" Not sure if it's the lack of training, moral or if these people are just thick. I ended up driving back to put s complaint in and get my missing items as one was a meal for my daughter..I ended up eating mine cold. No real apology. No compensation due to wasting my time and diesel. I think I'll be emptying the contents of the bags before I leave to check my order myself in future.

I live in Bradford but I was in the area so I thought I would get myself some kfc I go there at 9:30 and the staff says we have stopped serving. After I speak to the manager and he says he sorry for the inconvenience I go into order guess what the krushem machine is broken so order a family bucket and some popcorn chicken the food tasted excellent except the gravy it tasted like it was made last week so then I asked my friend’s who live in the area and they said the krushem machine has been broken for months now and they told me never to get the gravy unless you want to be sick

Read the previous reviews so I dubious about buying food from here even though I was working in the area. Pleasant staff, food was super quick and hot.

Asked BEFORE ordering if they had mash (because one of my children doesn't eat chips) and was told yes. Went on to order food. When the order was all ready was then told that they had no mash! After I had then explained that I specifically asked if they had mash he said that the person taking the order didn't know they didn't have any! Why?? Offered me chips as an alternative! Took food to table to then note that 1 side and the yoghurt from the kids meal was missing. Obviously won't be returning. Really worried now too after reading the earlier posts about maggots ....

Where do you start?! The Ice cream Sundae machine has been out of order EVERY visit. The food order is NEVER correct.....if you are unfortunate to visit please check your order before leaving.... especially from the drive-thru. I have tried over numerous months and the drive-thru have NEVER got an order correct....This tends to be when an additional item is added to a meal or bundled food deal.The wifi didnt work, so the team couldn't apply the special offer from the KFC app. The staff appear to be on alert ready for the next complaint.....My recent server.....walked off and said she wasn't "dealing with this". Even though I was mearly highlighting a mistake.If I was a business owner who cared one bit about customer feedback (and the other poor reviews) in here. Id try and rectify the problem that has been seen at this restaurant since opening.Very, very poor experience (everytime). Therefore receives the award of not just WORST KFC EVER, but quite possibly WORST RESTAURANT EVER!.........Chicken Hut, Freddys, Krunchy Fried Chicken, Clay Hut and even your local pub in Hyde probably does a better version of KFC than KFC Hyde does.......its that BAD!

Upon arrival I noticed chicken with maggots crawling out of it at the main entrance turned straight back around and got back in my car. Never ever visiting this shambles of a kfc ever again

This place is a joke- parked up to grab a coffee and do some work inside KFC just before 9. Presumed it was going to open at 9 (which it didn't) so sat and made a phone call in my car- at 9.10 I went to the doors to see that it was still closed so got back in my car and drive off. I have received a £100 fine for parking in the car park out of the hours 10am- 10pm. Funny thing is the parking notice at the car park does not specify any times at all. It simply says maximum stay 90 minutes for customers. So are KFC saying that if you park up five minutes before the restaurant opens you get a fine? Absolute joke. Complete scam.

Visited at 16.30 on 29/3/19 as my daughter likes KFC ( I personally think it is mush with no taste).The outside of the building was dirty, there was a dried smear of ketchup on the main window to start with. There were empty food wrappers and bits of fries on the floor which looked as if they had been there for some time.The inside had lots of wrappers and bits of food on the floor, some of the tables had not been cleaned and the staff looked as if they were still at school. I couldn’t locate a manger to complain about the state of the place. The food was hot but tasteless and the corn on the cob was dry; would not go there again and would seriously consider reporting the placement to the trading standards.

Recent visit and the fries have either been changed by KFC or this restaurant got it all wrong. Gone were the fries to be replaced by ‘chips’ or rather a poor imitation of chips. If this is the new KFC recipe then I’m off to McDonalds and have chicken McNuggets and proper fries.

I arrived too early before the KFC had opened. I only found out that the restaurant was closed after I parked up and walked to the front door. The opening hours are not posted anywhere but at the front door. I then received a £100 parking charge through the post (£60 if paid early). Civil Enforcement Ltd who look after KFCs car park rejected in my appeal. KFC management had no interest in helping me appeal the charge. You use this KFC at your peril, I will not be coming here again.

This is the worst KFC ever .chicken raw cold fries gravy congealed .i have ordered here befour when it first opened .so put wrong order down to newly trained staff.But this weekend 19th October has been the worst .when phoned the manager he could not give a dam .This chicken has been sent to environmental heaith as it was raw shame on you young children could have eaten this and maybe some have

Truth is with place is you can go and the food is decent, other times its just a greasy old mess. They regularly don't have items on like this last visit, no Krushems or wraps and the server was just point blank rude. Wait times vary so much and a guys order was sat for no reason, just no one called him. Tough to review as been and its been fine, this last time it was appalling.. Make a visit, your taking a chance..

The floors were sticky and the windows really dirty. Made me think that the staff do not clean and I worried that the food might make me ill as a result of poor hygiene. I asked for Pepsi max and was given some sort of root beer drink without ice. ( It was tepid) which I couldn’t drink. They had no ketchup either. I very rarely eat KFC and was really looking forward to my meal. So disappointed. Won’t go back here. Horrible!

Took 40 minutes from getting in the drive through queue to getting to the kiosk to order our FOOD?! OMG never in my life has it ever taken this long to order KFC.. Shame on you KFC Hyde

Visited on Sunday. What great service. I can't agree with the other comments on hear at all. The place was clean and although there wasn't that many in the seating area the drive through was quite busy. There was loads of accessories ie napkins, lemon wipes salt etc and everything we asked for they had. Well done Hyde KFC

I popped in on Thursday an got a zinger box meal !! Never had one before it was dry an gotta say tasteless !!!! SO on Friday lunchtime I popped in , in hope it cant possibly be as bad !!! WRONG !!!! Only got a zinger meal but wow it’s the worst meal I have had in years this place desperately needs a Ramsey nightmare mention , KFC take notice this place is crap the food is very poor quality do something or soon you will be joining house of Fraser closing most of you stores !!! Hyde kfc ,asked for chicken breast ,got none ask for legs ,got none no chicken , why ? it’s pay week .for staff. What an ill run dump.

The staff here are very nice and they do try there best but the customers are very rude and leave the place a mess. The restaurant is always a mess with tables filled with wrappers and left over food. The kids that hang around outside are very rude and make you feel on edge and uncomfortable entering the restaurant. I would go here again

I visited this kfc on 3 December for the first time, even though it is local to my mums residence and we pass it at least four times a week.

This is our local KFC and have been going to it since the opening. It was great at the start, fast, hot, pleasant and we'll run but now it is just an option...the last option.

Absolutely ridiculous how many times we have been here and received the wrong order....or stuff missing. But recently the food is greasy and not very appetizing at all

Food is the same as in any KFC restaurant but the staff is a bit more friendly and seem to know what they are doing

Over the last year had parts of orders missed on more two occasions. It's usually my favourite hot wings too! But nevertheless the staff are polite and friendly and they serve pretty promptly and the food is hot and fresh.

Always run out of chicken and certain sides, absolutely useless staff that don't know their **** from their elbow, I go to KFC Denton now as atleast I can guarantee chicken there

The food from here is consistently good in my opinion. It's always hot enough and even if the fries are sometimes not so warm I kind of like them. But the staff are something else. The majority are children of college age that really don't...

Purchased 4 meals at drive thru. Got home and found small fragments of metal in 3 lots of chicken fillets. Returned to restaurant to complain.

The food was fine and the staff were pleasant. I've only been in during the day and its always reasonably clean and tidy.

The food is usually good but the last say 5/6 times I've been it's been a let down the food isn't nice one bit. the place itself is a huge let down! The staff are completely useless, slow and just not interested. The tables and floor are always dirty because no ones been cleaning up so if you sit inside while your eating it will be on a dirty table. I won't be coming back again that's for sure.

We went for a quick meal as it was getting late. Went to eat in, the tables were not the cleanest and so we had to clean them ourselves. Ordered meals with side orders in Drive thro, no fork, no spoon, no salt, napkins.When tried to use the App to get rewards, told i could'nt, order already processed, so I was told. Drive on.The speaker at the Drive thro was set so low that I could not hear them.

Having had previous bad meals from this branch of KFC I decided to give it one last chance and I wish I hadn't. Ordered on Fillet burger with fries and a 3 piece meal with chips, got it home and it even looked awful, the burger had no salad on it and the chicken had no chips with it. It was probably the worst tasting chicken I've ever had from KFC.At long last I have lodged a complaint with KFC themselves, stay well clear it's dreadful.

Went to kfc today with my wife and daughter 20 people in the queue one member of staff serving! The place was dirty most of the tables had left over food on them. No where to sit customers were cleaning and having to clear tables! Kfc should be ashamed never will I go here again

I haven't been to a KFC for years and this was lovely, we chose to take away and I had a rice box,I thought this was the healthier option and it was the best ever, would highly recommend.

I've had half cooked chicken before from this establishment, my girlfriend has been sick all night from the food from here and I've been on the toilet for hours because of this KFCs food. Staff seem to be too young to care about standards.Needs to be closed down in my opinion.

went for a take away - ordered meal through drive through waited ages for the order to come to the car - we were then given someone elses meal and they were given ours -we both took the meals back and they were just swapped and returned to us - on checking our orders they were both wrong so the staff started swapping the food within the bags - cild food by this time and not until I complained did they make a fresh order but no compensation for trouble caused.

Friends came to visit us and said they liked KFC. When we arrived at this outlet there were no staff to be seen. The tables were covered with litter and the floor was filthy. We left without placing an order.

Visited sat evening to drive through. Ten mins sat at order window with no communication at all. Drive to next window to sit in another queue. Appears computers were down . Total chaos. But several staff members appeared to be stood about doing nothing while poor young lad on window had to take orders take payments and get the food. Got home to find chicken poorly cooked. Don't think will be visiting again

I haven't been to a KFC for years and this was delicious.I had a rice box ( they didn't have them with pulled chicken, so had to have fried) this was amazing and a healthy choice.Hubby had chicken stacker meal deal.Service wAs quick, staff were efficient and everything looked clean.Would go again.

Went today with my wife and daughter. It was first time we have visited this KFC. Drive through quite long, service taking the order was polite but slightly robotic. Waited at second window for what seemed a while and then asked to go and park up (why hey couldn't say that when we arrived at the window i don't know), car park was very tight and quite chaotic trying to park in waiting bay. We thought we had waited a while but the people in the bay had been waiting longer and we got our food before them!Fries were very limp and tasted like warm ups. For the nearly £20 we spent wished we had gone to a cafe.

Waited 7 minutes to be served at the drive through, gave up drove to the next window to see staff dancing, throwing food and eating. Eventually a female open the window and said "what" Told me had to drive back around and wait to be served as they were having a conversation!! After seeing the back of the counter would eat from there ever again ! Totally discussing

Been here a handful of times since it opened, and come to the conclusion that you can only give so many chances to 1 place! Utterly shocking that in all the times I've been there has never been a time where something hasn't been wrong. Food is regularly missed off orders in the drive through, being given the wrong order, being served an under cooked chicken fillet, having a bring poured on me when it was dropped on me in the drive through, rude staff and managers who don't care. I would not waste my time or money going here again and would rather drive to Denton to go to that KFC even though the Hyde one is on my door step

Food all over the floor, over flowing bins, slow service. Only one person serving on the front who if they went any slower they'd be stood still. When approached about the cleanliness they said they didn't have time

Called tonight for a quick tea and they had run out of chicken, the attitude of the staff was as if they couldn't be bothered. Well I won't be bothered going there again.

This place is woeful. Summer school holidays one guy serving. 25 minutes from walking through the door to get served. No one cleaning at all. Tables still full of finished remnants if food long after customers have left. In an attempt to try and be nice here the food was hot and the order was right. But nearly 30 mins to get served is poor.Highly unlikely anyone will respond to these comments as the kfc machine will just keep rolling on.

We called here instead of calling to denton or ashton which look clean when walking in.. hyde looked very dirty to top this we made our order and the kids always get beans as a side one of the tubs we received were out of date which topped it. No we would never go back staff are rushed and incompetent at there job maybe needs new management and a bloody good clean!

The store was terrible the first time I visited but when I arrived the second time it had gotten better, the tables were cleaner and the waiting time was short and the customer service was great! Will be going back!

I can't even begin to tell you how bad this place is. The first time I went they got the order wrong. The next time the place and staff uniform was so dirty it was a joke. Last night I took my little boy for a 'quick' bite to eat. We went through the drive through and was queuing for 10 mins, then I waited at the counter and no one came. A girl spoke to me on the radio and she said she won't be a min, 5 mins late she took my order. Then when I looked in the bag it was incorrect - so I went back inside as and the staff are obviously not all with it as they couldn't work out what was going on. Quite simple that I ordered and paid for a large popcorn chicken and got a small- not sure what was so hard to work out! Then they said it would be 5 mins wait for chicken- they literally didn't even have any food ready in the place - and it wasn't busy! Then I saw 1 large popcorn chicken on the stand so I said can't I just have that... Seriously the management either need to be on-site or they need sacking!! I will never be going there again!

Same as all others in taste, food was very fresh but slow to arrive, staff miserable, slow and unattentive. Parking a bit confusing. Got it home and order was wrong (kinda got used to that with Kentukys). Would I go again, probably if in the area and needing to eat fat, salt and sugar, which I did on this particular day..

Been here several times at varying times of the day, always the same chaos, dirty tables full of cups and bags smeared with tomato sauce, and as for the floor it's always well greased every day and you either slide to the counter or your stuck to a spot, when you do get served the food Is quite good, but if the front of house looks like this what do the cooking and storage areas look like!

I was always a fan of KFC, but the service and quality of the food here was truly awful. Have tried the place on 2 or 3 occasions and they have never managed yet to get the order right or produce food of an acceptable standard. Not been in another KFC since.

I visited kfc on tues with my son, i qued for about 20 mins, there was only 1 girl on the till, when i finally got served i asked for a kids meal boc and a wicked zinger meal box, i was' nt asked what sides i would like but she did ask what drink, i asked for a lemonade, when my order was ready i noticed they only plonked on the tray a sml popcorn chick and sml.fries for my son and my drink was wrong, i went bk and sorted it out but then later on as i opened my burger box it was the wrong burger!! By this time i was that pissed off with the overall experience and the que was massive i just binned it and left...i will not return to this absolute joke of a fast food restaurant ever

Having given this place a rave review previously. I feel that it is only fair to report that review no longer replies.Each visit now sees completely different staff who don't know how to run the place. On this visit some local youths had littered the place with food and debris whilst being glared at by the man who appeared to be in charge. He was incapable on one of taking orders at the counter from the waiting customers, as he was busy being annoyed.I tried to order an offer on my kfc app only to be told "No. The system is down." Therefore I didn't get my chicken stamps either. The food took a long time to be served. The chips were cold and rubbery. The bottle of diet drink ordered with the bucket was not provided.I complained to kfc, who answered from "noreply@kfc"To say that they were aware of the situation and were looking in to it.No offers of replacement food or providing the missing drink. Not even an offer to add the due chicken stamps.Perhaps kfc customer care system is going wrong from higher up the system, not just in the restaurants.

Staff always keen to help, very clean restaurant . Food always great . They never 'as yet' ran out of anything so a plus .

This has got to be the worst KFC I have been to, service was slow, tables piled high with empty food buckets, staff arguing with each other, also not speaking English a very bad experience, waited ages to be served don't think I will be back.Shame I do like KFC food

i ordered a very simple meal 3 piece meal with pepsi, how possibly could anybody screw that up, well yes once AGAIN they did, only got 2 pieces so not going back there EVER!!!!

Such a slow service that the line was at the door and there were only one person at the till. Maybe could put another one person at the till and maybe it'll get the customers served a lot faster.

Ordered two piece variety meal and asked for two legs when I got home realised there was hardly any meat on the legs most of the coating was gone and what was left of the coating was like concrete i'm pretty sure it had been there quite a while I'm usually a big fan of kfc but I won't be going to my local one again.

The past few times I've been the club card machine was not in use. This time I ordered 3 children's meal deals only to get home to find things missing and it's not the first time that has happened. Don't think I'll bother again.

Tuesday offer 9 pieces £5.99.Very busy due to the offer, but seemed to have prepared for this with extra staff and continuous cooking.My order was quickly taken by pleasant, helpful, happy staff who apologised that the chicken would take 5 minutes. In the meantime my drinks were provided and I was able to waited seated until my nice , fresh, hot food was served with a smile.Definitely go here again!

First to be informed there was no popcorn chicken in the boneless banquet because they run out and then no alternative but chips could be offered. Then they forget to give me my drinks. Too late to drive back so missed out big time. Rubbish service

Nipped in here for lunch as my friend wanted to try the new burger. I asked for a salad. And was told by the guy behind the till that they do not do salads even though it states they do on the menu. When I told him that I'll leave it he ran into the back to "check" and said "I will make you one up specially" Totally lying to cover his mistake. Back in October 2015 I ordered 2 zinger meals. The food was stone cold and missing the drinks and had incorrect sides.I complained and was send replacement meal vouchers.I decided to redeem these vouchers today for exactly the same order as above. I made sure the staff read the order back to me and thought they wouldn't get it wrong again......but they did.....the 2 X chicken strips were missing on both orders.The restaurant was empty, but there rubbish piles near the service window.I will never go to this 1 again and I don't really understand why they don't resolve these basic issues. They clearly don't care.

Took my two grandsons for lunch and left disappointed .Had to wait 10/15 mins for order to be taken,not a good start.The place is a shambles during the time spent on site no attempt was made to clean the floor(full of old chips)the tables were left with old trays and food debris and the waste bin was full.It makes you think what are the kitchens like? Far better and cleaner places to eat in Hyde

The first day this KFC opened, I took my granddaughter Dionne as the characters from Frozen were there. We even had our pics taken with the Mayor and Mayoress. It has definitely gone downhill since!! Last time I visited after doing some shopping in Hyde, I waited ages to be served, even though it was very quiet. I had to tell the staff that all the boxes on the counter were empty (sauces, napkins etc) and I mean ALL!! Then when we sat down the place was absolutely filthy!! Almost all the tables were empty, but all were dirty and had either packaging or food on. The floor was full of food and disgusting. I got up and went back to the counter and said to what looked like the manager/team leader 'do you realise what a filthy mess your restaurant is in'. He replied, I will get someone to clean. A young girl then came out from behind the counter and very half-heartedly started wiping the tables. The floor wasn't touched. I would seriously worry about my health eating in there again.

We waited 25 minutes for food.We were told by a member of staff that it was not fast food it was quick service?We finally arrived back home to eat and the order had less than we'd paid for . If I want k f c in the future well go to any other place but this one terrible service and the food wasn't up to the standard that this chain provides.

One of the better KFC takeaways. It does serve original KFC hot unli,e some others that serve food from elsewhere.

I was served 2 stale burgers by john at the drive through, after returning to complain i discovered john was the store manager and he refused to even look at the stale burgers he supplied and tossed them straight in the bin. He was clearly aware this food was not suitable for consumption and more interested in the store profits. He refused to refund the cost of the meals and only the cost of the stale burgersA complaint to head office was also unsatisfactory and resulted in a voucher for 1 meal. Needless to say this went straight in the bin and I will never visit this store again.Inedible food followed up by poor customer service.

Chicken rubbery, coating dry, restaurant filthy inside. Staff too busy shouting at each other. Won't be eating at kfc again

Go to mcdonalds instead. Doesn't matter if it's further away it's better than going to this dump. Waited 15 minutes just for some chips and a milkshake. Pathetic. Another time found a hair in my snack box. Grim. The state of the tables and floors in there are ridiculous you could probably catch something. Guy that served me on the till reeked of B.O as well just for good measure. They knocked down the multi storey to put this crap there? What a waste atleast the multi storey was useful. And to think that this plave actually sponsors the town hall. Joke of a city.

Me & my boyfriend went & not only did we have to wait ages to get served as there was one boy on the till we also had to try find somewhere clean to sit & eat our food. Main issue was it was a dump in there & rubbish all over the place. The floor needed a good sweep & mop & the tables were dirty. They got our order wrong & was extremely slow to say there was a mad rush at dinner time. The food was okay but the staff & hygiene of the restaurant let us down. What a shame!

Every time I have been to this KFC I have been let down with the waiting time, wrong orders and unavailable things! It's a joke! The staff are thick and don't know what they are doing. They have got my order wrong each time and every time they keep you waiting for about 15 minutes for your food. I will not be visiting this one again it needs shutting down waste of time opening the place!
