Sweet Diner in Tameside

I ordered the donner loaded fries which had one chilli 🌶 next to it on the menu (there were some items that had four), thinking it would have a little kick and I like that vibe. It was so hot I couldn't feel my lips or taste anything, I barely ate any of it. We also ordered onion rings and mozzarella sticks only to find that they were very basic rather than good quality ones.

Food was really good. Big portions. Chips and drinks are additional cost but the sharing chips are great. The staff were attentive. We went at a quiet time but everything was really good, I recommend giving this place a go, you will enjoy it!

I haven't had such a delicious burger in a long time. The kids burgers were great. The normal burgers are awesome. I can highly recommend going here.

The service was good. The 2 female waiters were nice, kind, and polite. The food wasn't nice. Limited menu at 1pm (only brunch menu available). My orange juice was given in a glass with lipstick prints on the rim. It was promptly changed when I pointed it out.

This is usually my one of my favourite places for food and deserts.. The girl was lovely who was serving but tonight the wait time was crazy. We ordered crispy chicken tenders, sir mix alot between 2 of us and then 2 sundaes and 1 scoop ice cream after. We asked them if we could leave the deserts as we had a baby and 2 year old with us and they were getting agitated and late to be told there about to be made in a minute..The deserts took around 40 minutes from ordering. We ended up having to take the deserts home because we were still waiting and not the best.

The food from here is so good, you won’t be disappointed. The King Kong burger I would highly recommended; who would’ve thought to put tandoori chicken in a burger, brilliant work😋. Loved the mocktail!! Service was super friendly too, a must try !! 🥰

Very friendly and helpful staff, food delicious. Having a mid afternoon treat. Waffles were our menu choice. We wasn’t disappointed large portions so beware! Unable to have my tea later so fun. Will definately be visiting again.

Decor in the restaurant was pleasant, staff were also very friendly. The menu had a broad variety of dishes which was great but also worrying, as most places that don’t focus on one type of food tend to lack in quality in some of the foods. I ordered 2 Burgers, 1 Fries and 2 Milkshakes which where shared between 2, coming up to a whopping total of £40 which i did not mind paying as i imagined the food to be of good quality …It was of course my luck to have had a dry digestive biscuit as a “Gourmet Beef Burger”. The flavour in the burger was nice however the patty was just far too dry and a tad chewy. I was quite disappointed, having travelled 105miles for the food as it was recommended my someone. But yeah.. atmosphere was nice, friendly staff, just wouldnt recommend the Beef Burgers ;(

The food was delicious!! The only reason I marked it down on service although the staff were nice is because of a long wait due to fitting takeouts around sitting orders. We waited 45 mins for waffles and ice-cream but the taste was worth it.

Omg the service here is ridiculous, took them almost an hour to get one dessert out.

Best burgers and milkshakes in tameside I recon.

I visited a couple weeks back with a friend on a Thursday evening. There was a nice and calm atmosphere inside. The two girls working did an amazing job at service and creating a welcoming environment. Our waiter also went out of his way to accommodate, making a cookie dough ice-cream which wasn’t on the menu. I’d definitely recommend anyone to visit, the establishment offers a very high standard of service.

We had an excellent dining experience at Sweet Diner, thanks to our waitress, Mollie. She greeted us with a friendly smile and thoughtfully asked about our Eid celebration, making us feel truly welcome. Mollie’s attentive service stood out—she even brought us sauces without us having to ask. Our food was served very quickly and it was nice and warm. We look forward to returning and hope to be served by Mollie again!

Amazing place, staff a really friendly and amazing food and deserts

My favourite local place. Come here at least once a week and it never disappoints. Service is always spot on and so is the food. Pipe N Slice Garden in the Summer is brilliant with shisha and they show all the football and big sporting events too.

Inside the diner it was very clean with a nice atmosphere. Food was served quickly and very nice while still being reasonably low in price. Drinks and milkshakes were the best in the area, definitely a great place to go.

I have been here many times and love going in for cheeky cheat days .. we always grab booth 11 the staff are always very friendly and always make sure everything is to standard.. The food is always good can't ever say I have ever had a bad experience...My only niggles are the staff need to pay a little extra attention to tables when you have there attention all good but trying to get attention when you need it is near impossible especially when in corners outside of that i can't fault the place ....

Got takeaway deserts lollipops and a slush served quickly and by friendly girl on counter first time here won’t be my last portion size of the cake I got was huge well worth the money

Heard big things about this place and it was very nice the burgers wasn't as big as expected but nothing wrong with it at all could of done with 2 of the quad burgers. My lad said his was the best burger he's had so that's the main thing. Only gripe was no root beer and it took ages to flag someone down to get the bill it wasn't busy either. Music was randomly blasting too which was a bit odd but would certainly eat there again

Foodbwas lovely as usual but the wait was ridiculous over an hour for a crepe and long waot take order wheere we waoted 10 minutes be told what we wanted wasnt available! No cutlery given on the table with mains, waited a long time for drinks and for 2nd went get water at bar so not another long wait. I would sadly avoid in the future especially as they barely apologised andothers were served long before us think they forgot about us!

I was recommended this place by members of my own family who had seem to have had a good experience. After being there for about 15 minutes, I was quite cold as was my son and my husband asked if we could be moved to a warmer area . The way to who served as well his eyes and said that we should put our coat on. ?? Moved we ordered food and drinks and the food that arrived was mediocre. We constantly asked where our drinks were. Eventually after around 30 minutes our drinks arrived with what can only be described as drinking the water you would use to wash up pots. My Son hot chocolate was so weak there was hardly any chocolate in it and my husband complained. Nothing was done about it. We left most of the food after eating half of the burgers they were tasteless and bland and quite greasy. It is a shame because we have been given such good recommendations and even shownphotographs . Not a place that we would return to.

I had a lovely experience dining here with my friend for lunch. I ordered the loaded Philly friends and they were delicious! The portion size was good and the price was fair. Aneesa served me and was very friendly. I’d definitely come here again.

Nice place but food isnt worth the price. Used to be better but last visit all the burgers were abnormally spicy. Idk if they've changed the chefs or what but bordering on uneatable.

By far the best Burger, Shake and Dessert place in Tameside ! Food was amazing, Service was on point, open up a place in Stalybridge you will smash it up !! All The Best Sunny Consistency is key !!

Absolutely astonishing. Great atmosphere, the service was professional and sweet. The food was absolutely amazing, the price for the quality and portion size was surprising. I don't know what else to say. 10/10 so far would recommend. Coming back next week for my mates bday.

Sweet Diner in Manchester offers a delightful fusion of classic diner favorites with Indian inspired twists. I recently enjoyed their Kashmiri Zing Burger and Bombay Burger, both bursting with flavor. The "Let's Go for Lunch" loaded fries were a tasty side, and the Fried Chicken Tenders with dynamite sauce were crispy and delicious. To top it off, the Terry Chocolate Orange Shake was simply amazing. Overall, a fantastic dining experience with bold flavors and friendly service.

Food and atmosphere is nice. Omg their meat burgers are yummy with good portion of fries. The service was friendly but felt like they were in a rush to get us out. It was only 7:15pm , and they close at 11pm. We had to bring to wait staff attention for cutlery and napkins. Nonetheless would still go back again for that burger 🍔. And the mocktail was 😋.

Lovely place, came with friends and the food is amazing, The Dynamite chicken burger! I must say it lives up to its name😛. If you love zing and spice, this one is perfect for you. I also ordered the halloumi, it was grilled to perfection. I finished with a lovely Eton mess sundae, stacked pancakes with Kinda looove spread and mint fudge mayhem. What a day! 😋😋 compliments to the chef and staff.🥰 would 100% come here again.

Unfortunately had to stop eating at this restaurant as the Meat has made me seriously ill (Vomiting, Abdomenal Pain) on multiple occasions. Main offenders are the 'Boxes' Ie. "Lets go for lunch" and "Love me a bit of donner". The Donner burger is also not fit for human consumption. Something has gone seriously down hill with this restaurant as I have only had these issues in the past few months, i have eaten here for a good year or more beforehand. The sauces and meats have recently been changed and are now of seriously poor quality and safety.

Great service friendly staff had the gormay burger and chicken strips.The burger was fresh juicy the chicken was juicy beautiful food that nice taking my mum 😋

Good food modern menu good service

I used to come often on way home from work on cold nights, last couple of times I have called in, both times I’ve ordered a HOT chocolate and both time I’ve been left waiting for about 20minutes and both time the HOT chocolate has been Luke, warm. I wouldn’t mind if it was busy then I can understand the waiting but the fact is the only people I’ve seen in here is the staff, but in the past I’ve not minded the wait, but to pay £12 for 2 Luke warm HOT chocolates is just irritating

Really, really good food. Better than the burgers I’ve had in Manchester City centre. Keema Fries, tremendous! They don’t sell alcohol but I’ve gotten over that fact.

I had a wonderful first time at Sweet diner. Really impressed, the food and customer service was on point! keep up the good works guys, my family of 13 enjoyed it so much, we definitely recommend and will be visiting again.

Just had milkshakes and they were nice. Seating is plentiful but benches weren’t super comfortable !

Ordered a kinder hot chocolate at 1945. It arrived 40 minutes later. It tasted of Luke warm dishwasher. £5 as well. Won’t be coming back.

Service was great and so was the atmosphere. Regarding the food, it was cooked fresh and was of good quality as well. I enjoyed my loaded fries the most. The burger was good too. However, the beef in my opinion, was a bit too dry and tough. I don't know what it was, whether it was overcooked or if it was the meat to fat ratio that wasn't right. Either way, I'd be more than happy to give this place another shot in the future.

They were super quick in getting us seated and served, the burgers were delicious and quite filling, and the fondue was just the icing on the cake for this place!

I wen there and ordered waffles and a milkshake and they were well nice and I wasn't full to the point where I couldn't eat the rest of the day I was just perfect, the waffles were really nice to :) Edit: We went again recently when it first opened, and we all got pancakes. I got the nutella and nut pancakes, and I'd say only get it if you like lots and lots of notes because you'll get many crushed up nuts on top of the pancakes and around the sides. Overall, it was a good experience, and I would recommend checking out.

Really great, staff were mega friendly even on boxing day. Wish we'd been in less of a rush to have been able to have dessert 🍨 will be back. Little one loved my milkshake so much I didn't have any lol

It was cold waiter said u sat in the wrong place he seated us ? Served waffle 1st then chicken and our drinks at the end ? Went to buy some lollies waitress said over there we took 4 said don't u put them in anything waiter gave us a bag the waitress needs training and to smile at customers 1st visit and last food was just ok £33 wasted

Fantastic messy burger! The 'Sweet Stack' was bangin. Amazing flavour in the juicy smashed patties. A good size portion of curly fries too. Little disappointed to be charged for BBQ dip. Dips aren't listed on the menu so when asking people if they'd like any sauces when serving their meal the charge should be mentioned. I'm not so bothered about the extra quid but more the cheekiness of sneaking it on the bill! Couldn't really fault the service otherwise, waitress was smiley and welcoming. Decent value food in a nice venue and an impressive menu. Defo recommend a visit!

I tried the Kinder Love You? waffle - there wasn’t much to love, it was far too dry, lukewarm and with very little topping - very disappointing. The rest of my order was ok, but I won’t be ordering/visiting again. Overpriced and the quality has deteriorated since my last visit 4 years ago. Although neatly and safely packaged and delivered well, I do not think this food travels well for delivery.

Arguably one of my favourite joints. Granted they’re expensive but you won’t find burgers like there’s anywhere else. Always blown away by the quality of the food. Always fresh hot & pipping.

First time visiting heard about it from my sons friends absolutely loved the food,the service was excellent only 4 stars as only thing i wasnt impressed with was the drinks too much ice in them....a bit over priced as sides dont come with the burgers but overall had a lovely experience will definitely visit again

Naga burger was the favourite. Only if they gave nachos like this in the cinema! When we arrived it was a full house and we still got out food at a decent time. Consistent.

First time,enjoyed my English breakfast,missed had waffles,good service,would go again,only issue I've got is very common in my experience was when food is ready to be taken to table its left under headlamps to keep warm and it tells in the food becoming a bit dried out but they gave us juamst in time,ant longer then I may of said something,but overall enjoyed it,nice coffe as well.

Amazing food, excellent service and a comfortable relaxing atmosphere to enjoy our meal. My grandson and I have enjoyed several visits to sweet diner trying different meals every time and everyone has been delicious. I'm sure my grandson is going to work his way through the whole menu. Sabir is the most welcoming person and very focused on making our visit a pleasant one, nothing is to much trouble. Thank you we will be back very soon and complements to the chef...

It was good for meat eaters but not a big choice for vegetarians. Service was friendly and helped out with vegetarian options that were not on the menu.

This place was recommended by a guy I work with. I've been 4 times now. It's superb! The burgers are incredible. The shakes amazing. It's a very pleasant atmosphere, and the staff are great.

I love this place, its my go to place for a flithy burger or a platter to share. They are always busy and attentive. The food is always flavoursome and filling. I enjoy their sharing platter the most which has a little of everything. The summer chips was refreshing and light, really enjoyed that. Keep up the great work guys!

Went there with friends, the burgers were overly unnecessarily spicey which took the taste away, the staff were miserable l like they didn't want to be there, not very friendly or helpful.

Honestly the food was nice hot and fresh, that being said one burger cost 12 pounds without a side of fries. The parmigiano fries pictured cost 7. For 2 adults and a child bill came to £65 but even at that price I would return.

Massive let down to be honest. I see the good in most places and don't like being negative but won't be going back there at all. Really overpriced for just about average food. The frozen chips went soft really fast...the chicken wings were sloppy and really hard to eat...the shakes were nice but small for the price...burger pattys-nothing special really.....overall just meh! The biggest let down was that after checking the menu and prices online, the prices were way higher, double for some things. I'm more than happy to pay for good quality or quantity but this was neither.

10/10. Great food and atmosphere

After a tough week of training hard in the gym…for me this is my go to place for my cheat meal! Burgers and fries washed down with milkshake and maybe even a slush as an extra treat never go amiss here. I must say the milkshakes and mocktails always hit the spot and they’ve gotta be up there with the best around. Get down here and try it (even if you’re not a gym goer)….you may be needing the gym after how stuffed you’ll leave!

We went last evening as a group of 4 on a special occasion. Were looking forward to it as it's been recommended. However, we got no further than the entrance and were told that as it was Ramadan and they were expecting to be busy within the half hour, when the fast is broken for the day, we could not be accommodated. Unbelievable. The people in front of us were told the same thing. We won't go back and wonder what repercussions there would be for an English restaurant who turned customers away because it was a Christian festival. There were many empty tables, just waiting ...

Not very clued up on suitability for vegetarians but corrected their mistake appropriately.
