This place doesn't do food anymore

Went in to watch football with my disabled friend, football on upstairs but lift not working, well ????? we don't quite know!!!! Pictures taken of the lift, being used as a stock room with tables and chairs infront of the lift,so who knows!!!! Ryan apparently bar manager very rude and patronising made us feel very unwelcome. Please give up your day job ,as I think you might be better working away from the public. Worked in retail for 35 years plus. Disappointed, dissatisfied customers. Ps Darren and Paula you need to get a new bar manager.

Sat on a table that had a condom underneath it when i asked a bar staff member to move it she told me to move it myself same goes with a pair of used boxer shorts in the toilet full of someone’s s**t. thanks Danielle

What an excellent venue! I went for a Soul Day, and it was really enjoyable. They have quite a few different drinks on tap, and I had a really nice day with friends. I will certainly be going again.

It can be on the loud side music wise. Darren the owner is a very approachable person With a great attitude to his customers.

Very lively bar and good prices for drinks. Opening times advertised on Google are incorrect though. Closes at 12:30 on Fridays, not 2am as shown.

Absolutely love this place, had one of the best nights out in forever. And the little cocktail bar upstairs is just a bonus. Would go here every weekend if I could.

Great staff and really nice food.

Enjoyed it but air conditioning was bloody freezing and when asked if it could be turned down a touch we got totally ignored so rather than stay for a few more drinks we had to egress to another local hostalry.

Top friendly local service, food is not back on the menu for a while but the drinks are great, be it cocktails, local Gin or Draught beers. Love this place and the Staff and so will you.

Been a couple of times for roast dinner, nothing to write home about. Frozen food, watery gravy and a grumpy waiter that thrust the card machine into our faces whenever we ordered a drink. You can’t put them on the same bill apparently. Nearly £20 for a roast too ... not worth it.

I went to The Jam Works after work with my support bubble. I've wanted to try it for ages and glad I did. I wasn't too keen on the decor downstairs, a bit dark and didn't really fit any theme. but I loved upstairs. The restaurant is fresh, airy and modern. I ordered the halloomi which was delicious, really tasty and great portions. Price was good too. The bar man upstairs was absolutely lovely, I didn't catch his name, he had brown hair and a goatee beard. Nothing was too much for him. He made us non alcoholic cocktails with whatever we asked him too for the drivers and the alcoholic cocktails were delicious and well presented. I can't wait for the restrictions to be lifted so I can come back in a group and try the Pornstar martini cocktail tree!

The food is amazing and drinks are fabulous! Brilliant Staff and a great venue the tapas is great and the Sunday roast is amazing highly recommended! If you see a bad review on here they clearly have missed the full jam experience and need their heads read! 😂 Well done jamworks

Went in for food ,the staff upstairs was very rude as we asked for a little bit more gravy an salt an we was told we could have salt only an when we asked for the manager the owner come over an he was very rude aswel ,he asked what problem was an we said we jus asked for a little bit more gravy as the dinner didn’t have much gravy on so he said everybody likes the dinners an we are only ones to complain but he was so unprofessional about it ,he was so cocky saying we have to pay for our drinks an to pop off ,also the locals started shouting to us yea go on an get out ,we put a review on last night but it’s been removed by them,iv never been treated like that anywhere just coz asked for bit more gravy

I write this review from the warm toilet seat that has been my only comfort this evening. Regrettably due to the most rancid plate of calamari I should have known better not to eat. Shrivelled, greasy and cold inside, clearly frozen, and attacked my digestive system within 30 minutes. The aneamic squid, which had been dead quite some time, was followed by a questionable dessert of powdery 'brownie' and cold custard that resembled the lard-laced baking the kids in year 4 produced; topped with a wonky truffle which broke in half and shot across the room. My posterior is usually one of steel, but I would suggest keeping a loo roll in the fridge prior to dining here.

Brilliant place to eat and drink, foods top notch and atmosphere spot on.

Got to start with the place. Loved it. Nice cosy atmosphere nice background music. Drinks were pretty much standard. So upto now all ok. Then were introduced to the most obnoxious barman I've ever met. Kyle you need to change your attitude mate your driving people out

Just been for some food for the first time after seeing no reviews. WOW!! I'm not one for tapas but decided to try after looking at the menu. I rate myself 10/10 for my choice. Every dish we tried was amazing. Its like mini assaults on your taste buds and heavenly flavours too. Not a lover of blue cheeses but decided its time to try again after so many years. In the mushrooms its wonderfull, im converted! Steak, chicken, mushrooms and the homemade chorizo are to die for. Will I return? Hell yes. Booked the family in for a Sunday treat. AMAZING!!

The food and drinks were delicious, unfortunately the night was let down by the staff and the organisation. We pre booked a table for 3 ppl at 6pm. When we arrived the bar staff looked confused and didn't have a table ready for us.. why let people pre book if you're not going to have a table ready? When we were finally seated (squashed in) on a 2 person table we had to ask for menus.. again we pre booked for food and drinks.. clearly people turning up to buy excessive amounts of alcohol were more important. On a side note with covid.. they have all these rules at the door, temperature taken, hand gel etc. To then have loud lusic above talking volume which is against these rules in a high risk area is simply confusing 🤔 The whole experience made me feel very anxious and even though the food was amazing I will not return for food.. i wouldn't want to risk turning up and having no table ready for me.

Alexa made our day, absolute legend will not visit again unless alexa is there! She made us cry laughing, great entertainment, great food, want to do this every week!

Love this place. Chelsea has done an awesome job of putting this place on the map. Cocktails are a mix of traditional and Chelsea's creations. Tried a selection and they were all divine! The bar staff here are 2nd to none, felt so welcome and looked after from the minute we walked through the door. Highly recommended.

I went here to watch the football with friends, the atmosphere was great considering it was derby day. We also ate here & the food was amazing. One ordered a Sunday dinner (kids size) as the adults portion was massive & the rest ordered Tapas. Not one negative thing to say. Highly recommend this place.

Our first visit to this modern new pub with family and meeting old friends Really busy Saturday night good choice of drinks great busy friendly atmosphere and if you want a bit more privacy nip upstairs to a quieter lounge area which serves tapas plus still has a few large screen TVs. Just what Droylsden needed to bring it into the 21st century along with other new venues nearby to make our small town 🐝 buzz again

Went in there for the football rude Bar staff 90s deco just a shame that the toilets are well presentable but the rest is not. £4.50 for a pint of lager it’s droylsden. Will not be going in there again.

Nice place. DJ plays really good mix of music although music is way to loud for the size of the room.

Was lucky enough to be invited to the recent opening launch of the first floor restaurant (also has a lift) and I have to say Droylsden now has it's own fine dining gastronomical experience to be savoured. Wonderful locally sourced ingredients cooked to perfection and served with a smile what more could you ask for...........👍👌😘

Our first visit to the Jam Works today and we loved it! Such a cool bar and a great atmosphere. We went in on Saturday lunch time with out baby, the football was on but they didn't have the commentary on and had great music playing. They have a great choice of beers and some classic cocktails. Really good vibe in there... a great addition to Droylsden along with the Silly Country.

Came in last night, brilliant bar staff one that stood out was a young blond lad who seemed to have great organisationally skills with other members of staff. Good everall atmosphere, will come again and recommend.

I hope Alan from the Lazy Turd isn’t running this place, it’ll be closed before Christmas because he’d have barred everyone...including the staff !
