Amazing food, fantastic service, delicious menu and great value! 10/10. Hands down the best burger Iv had in a loooong while!

Having to wait 38 minutes for 2 burgers and chips is ridiculous, staffs response when being ask “where’s my food” was 5 minutes everytime. The food arrived warm at best and was a grease pit in a bun, 2 hours later my stomachs turned and I literally can’t get off the toilet! I won’t be eating there again I’ll still to Mc’ds

This restaurant is awesome! We chose our food online from the qr code on our table and it came quite fast. We got some chicken tenders, burgers and milkshakes and all of it was so tasty! They have lots of different and unique options on the menu, so there is something for everyone. The restaurant was fairly clean, but not immaculate. The prices weren't cheap, however I would say it is pretty good value for money.

The main problem that Archie’s don’t seem to be able to address is the wait time; everything’s slow!

This is for the Archie’s at the Trafford Centre. I went with my daughter and another family. Food looked good on the menu and whilst a touch on the pricey side not crazy. However I won’t be going back because - the wait time was too long (half an hour) - there was one member of staff floating about trying to look busy. Emptied the bins then went straight back to serving food/drinks without washing hands - when it arrived the order was wrong - the food was only lukewarm at best I also began to feel really ill a couple of hours later and feel really terrible now. It could be good but this all adds up to a really poor experience.

Went the other day with my brothers, I ordered the bbq chicken teanders for myself and my brothers both had burgers the food came quick which was perfect as we were in a rush, it tasted amazing my chicken was so fresh and tender. it was my first time eating at Archie's and I will defiantly return and would recommend.

Worst milkshake ever!! Making something simple like a milkshake seemed impossible for them to do! Just a blip of solid ice cream- with a straw - impossible to drink!! When I took it back and said it’s not a milkshake just ice cream the staff could not care less and told me it will melt in around 30 mins and I could drink it then- unbelievable bad customer service They offer me a spoon to eat the milkshake

Very disappointed as took my children for milkshakes and they had none. Wasted journey, won't go again.

The service was the best service I have experienced in Manchester! Shoutout to Farihat, the best waitress ever you made the whole experience <3 If i could, i would go again just to see her warm smile. My Milkshake arrived melted WHO PUTS A Cold DRINK In the SAME BAG AS (supposed to be hot) FOOD?! No common sense. So all the food was cold, too. Burger was pretty tasteless and the fries were dry and crusty. Total waste of money. Very annoying & disappointing!! 1st time ever ordered burger was wrapped in foil so nice n hot when it came - not this time in the paper. The last time I came inside here for a milkshake told was take out only which was fine, but I had to wait over 35 minutes and there were only around 2 or 3 other people(customers) in there! Strange how, after waiting 25 minutes with the staff seemingly doing nothing, everything and anything but my milkshake when I asked for a refund the man said I'M DOING IT NOW... hadn't even started it then still had to wait another 15 minutes. Almost ended up with a parking ticket. It's tempting to call in with my melted milkshake reciept to request a replacement next time I'm in the centre but honestly I haven't got another 35-40 minutes to waste and definitely don't want another greasy, tasteless burger or crusty fries !!!! Also had a bad stomach after eating half that burger which wasn't even enjoyable, had to force myself to eat it because of how much it cost, also can't bare to waste food when there's people starving. What an absolute waste of over £20!!! Honestly, take note of this and other reviews and AVoiD!!! Definitely won't be ordering from here any time soon in a rush. It's also quite obvious that you are not taking any of this feedback on board, either! Better off supporting your local take away for half the price!

Only one person serving on the till but yet lots of staff wondering around doing nothing & talking to each other. Food is nice, especially the waffles, it’s a shame the service isn’t the same. Toilets aren’t the best, they were very dirty. I won’t be going back in a hurry.

We waited a ridiculous amount of time for food that is simple to do. The service was appalling, when I asked about food the customer interaction was poor and when bought to the table, the tray was virtually thrown on the table by the gentleman who bought it. One of the burgers was cold and had to be sent back. Once the food arrived that I ate was really nice but not worth the wait and the shocking way the staff handled it. Not sure I will revisit in a hurry

Came here to try the “American fast food” restraunt. The food was anything but fast. We waited 45mins to receive two burgers and chips. Without the dips which were charged at an extra cost. Food- For to much grease, never tasted a soggy bun before but this was the first. So ordered a chicken delux this was in my opinion below average/ average. Hi! This review is for the Archies at Trafford Centre. Simply Amazing! 1- welcomed and given a table straight away. 2- manager came over and had a chat with us anout menu and recommended items etc. Was very friendly and professional. 3- ordering was easy and quick4- good space tables and booths especially when with children. 5- we tried a few different thing as there were 4 adults and a child. - cheetos chicken burger is just wow ! Simply one of the best burger i have had in a long time. Good size and juicy, good quality burger. - cheesy chips were good and exactly what we wanted, perfect! - chicken tenders box was a good portion and very tasty! Well done again archies thumbs up! - chilly tots were good and very tasty!- the superstar beef burger was a good size and tasted really really good. Wow! - drinks we took the bottomless option and just refilled whenever required. All in all a very good experience as the food and service both were really good. Definitely recommended for a good burger! I know i will be returning when i am in manchester again! Thank you Archies.

Went to visit archies at the trafford centre for the first time, was not a great experience to the point what was the hype about? menu wasnt a great selection and a lack of deserts. when the burgers arrived they were really greasy and sloppy and didnt remotely look as advertised. I ordered a milkshake separately and it took 30mins to arrive which turned out to be a second attempt as they delivered the first to the wrong table. It was so thick it was like they made it and put it in the freezer as it came out like an ice cream, it was so bad it was not drinkable i should have asked for a spoon Also there was no attempt at social distancing between tables When a staff member was cleaning a table next to me he sprayed me with the disinfectant This is far from professional I look forward to hearing your reply

It was my first visit to Archies, I thought I’d try it as everyone raves about it. I found the food to be ok, it wasn’t the best and it is highly priced for what it is. When I arrived there I was asked to put my mask on, twice. Twice I had to say I am exempt, that made me feel quite embarrassed. I didn’t appreciate the roll of the eyes the second time, that wasn’t nice. As I said the food is ok, customer service needs improving. I don’t think I’ll be going back.

2 days ago I was this place a lady is customer service she didn't respect to the delivery rider and was to rude with them I said to her why you are angry she said they deserve it because they cant waiting for food I said anyway you have to respect to them and she said is none of your business I cancelled my order I don't like this place

Kids these days don't know the value of money, why on earth are these owners charging 8/9 quid for a burger and then charge separate for sides and extra for a drink. You owners are conning the British public and it's out of order. Someone needs to open a very similar establishment near this place and start charging people normal price. We have all got money no doubt but this needs to come to a stop. It's overpriced and overrated.They have designed these bags that look like your about to feed the whole village in your area. The shakes are amazing, the waffle we had felt a bit too expensive for the size you end up with, burgers are total bombs, although would recommend the beef ones and not sommuch the chicken but it might just be me, the fries are a bit on the too salty side but not too bad.

Tried an Archie’s the other day for the first time after hearing many good reviews at work - and I must say it was very good!Was feeling a little hungover on New Year’s Day so I wanted something filling, I am so glad I chose Archie’s. The food was absolutely delicious and the portions were spot on! I had the tornado chicken burger with the hash brown on top and a side helping of curly, cheesy fries - wow!!Will definitely be back, thoroughly enjoyed!!

Visited on Boxing Day and was really pleased to see an Archies here, experience in all other Archies has been fantastic. But extremely disappointed, had to wait ages for our order and then when it eventually arrived rude and impatient staff member rushed us out before we could check it. Probably intentional as we found it was one burger short at the cost of around £7. Couldn’t get back in as the queues were too long. Food was cold and just awful. Sent a couple of complaints but no response and not even an acknowledgment- clearly not interested in customer satisfaction or feedback. Managed to get back to the shop a couple of days later and they just didn’t want to know. In all, I’d suggest you avoid, plenty of other decent establishments in the Trafford centre and never once had reason to complain against them.

Absolutely unbelievable. I arrive at Archie’s (Oxford Road), Manchester 2 minutes before they close for inside order (21:43). Security guard was rude and staff weren’t helpful. The food was good but for the staff they will need to be more professional and on form in future.

Finally they have opened at Tc my kids have been raving on for over a year fantastic food not let down love the chicken burgers and beef burger its our local retail park only 5 mins away can see my kids making this their lunch every time we visit tc like the packaging the burgers come in pink is my daughters favourite colour even at 13

Decided give Archie's latest store in the Trafford Centre a go as everyone raves about them, sadly the worst burger I've ever had and that at £7.49. Could have had a better burger from Mc Donald's or if I want real quality for similar price I would rather go to Gourmet Burger Kitchen, they might be a bit dearer but at least I'll have proper beef burger and not this excuse of a burger.

Went to the new Archie’s at Trafford centre today. We were the first customers so they gave us our entire meal free, which was a lovely gesture. The restaurant was immaculate and the food was excellent. The staff and owners were both friendly and kind. Can’t wait to go back when it is fully open to sit down in. Highly recommend to anyone wanted an American food fix, especially the hot cheesy tatter tots!

Visited the takeaway, ordered 6 burgers. As was travelling to Leeds asked for drink cans rather than plastic cups, manager, female, rude enough to refuse asked her to keep the drinks. Standard food for expensive price. Terrible

Archies has some of the nicest food I’ve ever had when out with mates. Service is great, food is exceptional and had one of the best lads night out here. Very nice and well developed seating area, definitely made for some good pictures!

I started using the didsbury takeaway as the Manchester branches were disgusting. Same from didsbury. Food is disgusting greasy sloppy burgers. Half items missing gave them another chance with the chicken just as bad. Asked in notes no cheese as allergic they got rest right apart from absolutely loads cheese inside!! Soggy ripped bun. Missing chips. Twice tried twice was a disaster and you can never contact them. If you want to waste £40 this the place to do it 0/10.

Last night I ordered to Archies through Uber Eats, when my order arrived, it was missing items, my partner food was completely wrong and on my chips it was a NASTY HAIR mixed with the cheese sauce. I spent almost £40 on missing items and nasty surprises on my food? I won’t order anymore from here.

We’ve come from leeds to try Archie’s as you are launching a venue in leeds but couldn’t wait! My partner enjoyed his Eminem loaded waffles and the chicken and waffle was really nice but there was no taste to the chicken at all, it was a tad dry but still edible! Very excited to go back to Leeds and have Archie’s!

Visited Archies in Piccadilly (can't find them on trip advisor) - stood in line for an eternity waiting to be served by 1 person at a till (while other staff stood around, hugging, chatting) got to the front of the queue and ordered and were told they do not accept my MASTERCARD payment option. A worldwide card I had used in Uniqlo, my hotel, Morrisons, Sainsburys, Aer Lingus, Clarks, the Printworks, McDonalds, Zizzis. I contacted customer service and they offered nothing other than "we have been victims of fraud" - nothing said about the lack of service in the restaurant.

Archies - Manchester!Visited this branch during the ‘Eat out out to help out scheme’ and the quality of the food is great! There was a long queue to get in but didn’t take long for us to be seated as it was 2 of us. The staff were very nice and cheery even with the vast numbers walking through the door which was very welcoming. I have tried various burgers and shakes from Archies, one of my favourites is below! ;)- Texas Tornado, Peri Fries &amp; Coke - Superstar, Peri Fries &amp; Iron BruI would give this a overall score of 10/10.

Order take away food via uber eats from Archie's which is usually really good. Considering we were less than half a mile away from the eatery the food on arrival was cold,soggy and lettuce slimy. We had also ordered waffles which were cold with melted ice cream. Not the usual quality. My advice would be to collect yourself and not use uber.

Okay, so I ordered from a lovely lady a falafel burger and chips with a side of nachos.I wasn't expecting much when it comes to burger joints and vegetarian food, but blimey it was so good. Lovely restaurant and really friendly pleasant staff would deffo eat here again.

Stay well away from this place!! My food was preordered and they cooked the food on order and it sat for hours until delivery!! It was stone cold! I hear that delivery drivers are taking the food back themselves and are being sent away!!!!

Ordered some curly fries and chilli sauce. I sat down on a bench nearby and after eating a few noticed there was hair in the fries!!! I was absolutely disgusted so walked back and without making a big scene just asked for a refund. The staff were polite and apologised but there was lots of staff working close together with no masks/beard/hair nets. I had paid via card so followed his instructions and tapped my card against the reader for my refund. He apologised and I left. I checked my bank account after a couple of days to see I had been charged twice rather than being given a refund! At this point I was really frustrated with their service or lack of! I emailed and they responded immediately and asked for my bank details for a refund, and still I have not received anything and it's been over 10 days. This is all for £5 btw so petty but it makes me so angry that anyone can provide such a terrible food and service and think they can get away with it!

We ordered from the one in Didsbury, no flavour to the burger at all, the hot wings tasted like battered wings and the jerk bbq wings had never seen a spice, the milkshake was very watery and the had the nerve to charge £2.19 for a warm can of coke. will never go into one of theses shops again defo not worth the £30 we spent.

Can see they have recently upped the prices. A portabello burger is £7.50 which is very expensive. Can get a whole meal and extra for that much from other places. Burger was tasty. Fries were average. I wouldnt be going back often

Disappointing. First time I got a milkshake it was never blended and had massive pieces of Ferrero, decided I wouldn't write a negative review. Yesterday got some food again, chips were so hard they actually hurt my gums, the milkshake straw had been stapled so I couldn't even drink my milkshake. No sauces added in the bag. Burger was very tough. Not moist. It's a shame because you have one job...nothing else. Make sure you're providing people with what they are paying for. Worst part is we travelled from Sheffield and waiting 55 minutes for the food. I would give 0 stars but its not possible. Food was very cold.

I had high hopes but they were quickly diminished when it arrived. For what I paid and received was unacceptable. The fries are the worst I've ever tasted a bit like economy crinkle fries but with a strange after taste. My burger was also missing so I was left with the waffle which wasn't bad but not great. Asked for a refund and thrown in the bin maybe it was a bad day for them but I wouldn't order again.

First time ordering, Ordered on deliveroo.. it said it would be 35 minutes but we got a call to say the food had spilt and ruined so had to reorder, it eventually arrived an hour and a half later. Food was relatively warm considering distance from restaurant.We spent 25£ on two basic burgers, 2 fries with cheese, and £2 something for a can of irn bru!!! We ordered from the Archie's in Didsbury with the promise that it would be delivered in 30mins. It ended up being over two an half hours, with customer service saying 'as the order was over three burgers it was more complicated for the chef'. Coming from a burger restaurant, this seem absurd.

Ordered through Deliveroo and timing was great. BUT the food was cold and the muffins the burgers were on looked squashed. Burgers tasted good it is just as shame the temp was cold. Would have definitely ordered from here again but may have to reconsider.

I only went there once a couple of years ago and haven't been back since which tells you everything you need to know. The burger lacked flavour and I was surprised just how bad it was and how expensive it was for what you get, awful quality.

One of the worst takeaways I've ever had paid £27 for it it and it was disgusting all packed into a tiny paper bag with the burger at the bottom which was absolutely squashed I've attached the picture of this

Me and my husband ordered a burger and fries and drink each and as there was no kids menu I ordered my 4 year old a burger on its own. We had it delivered it was quick it took less than an hour. They sent the wrong sauce sweet chilli instead of barbecue and didn’t send the sauce I paid for at all, bit annoying but I can live with that. Food was mediocre and it wasn’t really warm when it arrived. The price was ridiculous it was almost £40 including delivery. The lone burger for my 4 year old was nearly £8.00. And my can of coke shown £2.18 on the receipt and my husbands can of coke was £1.09? I thought I was getting a bottle not a can! Burgers weren’t big and fancy and not much salad. Chips remind me of microwave chips. Overall it’s was okay but over priced for what it was. And they should introduce a kids menu.

Ordered via Uber eats and stated “NO MAYO - DAIRY INTOLLERANT!!!” Not sure what part of that meant slather the wrap in mayonnaise ! Waited an hour for it to be delivered and we couldn’t eat any of it. Didn’t even know it had mayo on until biting into it so I’ll have to deal with the consequences of their incompetence! Thanks a lot.

Very busy restaurant and the food and shakes are very nice. However the seating area is disgusting, plaster falling off the walls, tables are filthy, floor is slippery with grease and cracked. Even worse is the state of the toilets, Upstairs toilet was out of order so we were directed to the downstairs toilet where there was no water running, no toilet roll and it was disgusting to the point I almost felt sick. Use this place only for take away or visit the other one in Manchester that is take away only.

Now that Boris has told cafes and cheap restaurants like Archies to close and delivery only we see many scramble to sign up with Uber & Deliveroo, but without thinking about how the food will be when it gets delivered 40 minutes after cooked!

25 minute wait for chicken strips and chips, finally arrived and everything was overcooked - dry chicken, tough as f---k to eat. Chips were fine but its hard to f---k up chips.

Awfully long wait for the food but it was worth it...very, very nice! It would have been good to know which wrap was which though as there was no way to know what it was without dissecting it.

The new piccadilly branch is a virus hotspot! the ball pit, phones on the walls, a swing seriously! Do the teenagers who visit these places understand that their health is more important than a Instagram picture!

The burger was overcooked and tasteless, staff are unhelpful and don't seem to care. Awful experience.

Visited early hours after gig and drinks, specifically asked for plain burger (no salad or sauce), got back to hotel, burger covered in salad and sauce, unable to eat.
