Frankie & Benny's New York Italian Restaurant & Bar - Norwich in Norwich

Burger bun stale. Garlic bread stale. Pizza poor (just like it came from the supermarket frozen section). Server not really bothered when I reported this. Won’t return.

Food was very good, felt hurried, then got told had to go as member of staff had to catch a bus, but found out this was a lie as saw her standing in the carpark. Think this was very rude as I spend £53.30 to be treated like this was absolutely terrible and very rude

I took the red dirt road on Thursday with Brittany to McLean house with Alisha. On the Friday While on the road Saturday Deauville where at Iles Et Ailes I met Zoe on bar and Tiffany serving tables. I told Hayley and Sasha, to take heart fr.om her new opportunity to drop the Swedes and take heart from the Norfolk landscape on Sunday while asking on the Monday Sean to Impose Toi on the restaurant five wonderful evenings and five great meals.

Wow what a rip off price wise ..food was ok but definitely not worth the prices charged .Can't justify paying £4or a few onion rings . Wow and the charge for a small portion of chips ..unbelievable. shan't be returning.

I’m unsure if the restaurant has consciously changed the type of pasta they use in dishes or if they were just out of stock of spaghetti but I’ve attached a photo of our visit in 2021 vs Dec 2022 and as you can see they did not use regular spaghetti for our dishes but some other kind of noodle. There also seemed to be less sauce in general on the dishes compared to 2021. The garlic bread however, was great, hence 2 stars instead of 1.

Ordered sirloin steak rare - shoe leather appeared - cooked to beyond well done and not seasoned - could not cut it with a knife, they were eventually able to rustle up a steak knife when asked. Macaroni cheese was tasteless, rubs were stone cold, ordered Caesar salad which came with no dressing. Asked for a dressing to go with it - waitress asked what sort of dressing - we asked for a ceasar dressing - she went away to see what she could do. A huge bowl of dressing similar to tartar sauce appeared

The restaurant lacked atmosphere. Mixed opinions on servers first one happy and friendly, second lacked personality and a smile. Lasagna bland, I have eaten better from a ready meal. Meatballs tasted as if they had been frozen, no texture to them and the sauce had little if no taste. Very pricey for the standard of food. Will not revisit.

Had the ribs and it tasted really good and was a very good serving of which I could take back for another meal later on still

Came in last night, thought restaurant seemed a bit dated, the food was just average for the price can get the same food just done better else where. My 2 boys did leave happy thou due to the server on the door meeting and greeting them. Went the extra mile to speak and make sure there happy.

Came for a meal tonight at Frankies and bennys. Was not overly impressed with the food or the service. We had two same main meals and one was served a larger portion than the other. One of our meals also was very dry and had barely any sauce nor meat. Service was poor and did not ask at all how our meal was. Most of the staff stood by the open kitchen bar chatting among themselves. When serving food they did not ask if we needed anything and when I called over for someone to get cheese this took longer than it should have. I have eaten here many times before and never had a problem. Was just disappointed with the meal and service this evening.

Food was disappointing, only a handful of fries, breaded chicken burger was full of hot grease that sprayed out when eaten, apple crumble must of been microwaved as it had both frozen and hot spots, definitely not worth £48.

I really don't like to leave bad reviews but we were so disappointed with our recent visit to F&B. When we arrived and waiting to be seated there was a chap kind of laying on a table surrounded by Halloween decorations (think he might have been staff). Sat at our table and were served quickly. Food arrived very quickly but my daughters meatballs and spaghetti dish was luke warm and my Mediterranean Grain Salad was so tiny. A smattering of rice/quinoa, two slices of pepper, no tomatoes or rocket and the smallest amount of baby spinach. I had requested an extra of halloumi which was the equivalent of one slice and that cost me £14.50! Usually when I go out and have a salad you get something a little different and extravagant than what you would produce at home but this was seriously lacking. Visited the toilets and one of the handles was completely broken, I personally think the toilet should have been closed off as people were still using it despite not being able to flush which was unpleasant to see and left a bad aroma in the whole toilet area.

Came In for a evening meal with my daughter and grandson. Got seen to very quickly to have our order taken.garlic bread was hot onion rings was cooked perfectly. Never tasted a better burger in my life. Waitress was lovely didn’t catch her name tho. Will definitely be back again soon

Right from the word go, we were greeted by Aimee who was completely brilliant,service with a smile, food was excellent have been here twice and the double cheese bacon burger is best I’ve ever had,we decided to return here for my wife’s birthday dinner and really enjoyed once again Cheers Aimee once again & hopefully see you on our next visit

Popped in for a lunch although busy we were served very promptly and Chelsea was very good who looked after us.food very good and great value

This is the chain responsible for Birdbox on Deliveroo. My order was completely wrong. The fries were cold and unseasoned. No sauce in my chicken and a tiny amount of cheese even though I paid for extra. Bacon was burnt. The best thing about my order was the bottled water. Disgusting and o reproved rubbish. Better off with a KFC - save yourself the disappointment!

Came into this restaurant with a group of friends for breakfast, was first told they couldn’t seat us in an empty restaurant and then miraculously found seating. A older blonde lady served us and was communicating with other colleagues about us in front of our tables, shaking their heads and pointing. This woman continued to be very offensively impolite and had an awful tone to any questions asked.Took over half an hour to order food and drinks, was spoken rudely to about asking order. Had drinks spilt over our phones and laps with no apologies or any effort to help clear up. At the end of the meal we all paid our food and was shouted at for waiting to pay. Will never make a return to the restaurant and don’t advise any larger groups going in for meal. Very disappointed and an extremely upsetting end to a lovely weekend. A real shame to be spoken down to.

We had a birthday brunch here on Sunday morning which was all a bit of a disaster.

Title says it all. You can get your food within a reasonable time, or could wait ages. Missing items normally felt with promptly. The do have a habit of burning/over cooking chicken. Portion sizes vary week by week.

Great quick service from Emily she could not do enough for us! A fantastic standard of food, the meatball dish left me stuffed. Will certainly dine here again.

visited early Saturday evening, place was very busy, glad had pre-booked table. Were 4 of us, service was a little slow taking drink/food order, and bit of a wait for the drinks and longer for the 3 starters that were ordered, but were worth the wait, nice and hot and very tasty, mains arrived very promptly after starters were finished and cleared. Again these were all very tasty and all plates cleared apart from mine as could not finish the double bacon burger I had, was just too much. Two desserts were ordered and again they were first rate.

Decided to take the family for breakfast. There were four adults and two children. I'll start with the food...four of us had the traditional breakfast. The food arrived without the pre ordered toast and when the toast arrived we had finished our meals. The toast wasn't toast it was warm bread. I also noted that the beans came in little white pots and consisted of bean sauce with only about 7 beans in the mix. When I handed back the toast the so called chef just said "ok" when I complained about the warm bread. I said "it's not really ok is it?". The staff were not bothered and the establishment obviously run by students that really didnt care. The manager asked me if everything was ok so I explained. The manager said we could have the toast for free. I had already given it back. The waitress was disinterested and rude. I thought this was going to he a nice treat for the family and it turned into a £50 disappointing experience. Stay away and go to Macdonald's, the food there is usually hot and much cheaper.

It’s my second time here and yeah the first one was a bit of a slow one with the food getting out but as they explained they have some new staff in :) great lunch with a friend today, thanks to Emily for being a super star :)

Visited with friends for a late breakfast before going on to the cinema. The restaurant is pleasant and welcoming and our waitress Emily was charming and very attentive. The food was good and Emily kept us supplied with tea!

We visited on a Tues morning for breakfast which was lovely. Emily was friendly and helpful and nothing was any problem. My only complaint was how chilli it was in the restaurant. But it didn't ruin our visit with you.

Looks clean with decent furniture, feels fresh. Steak was very tender, nice you can see into the kitchen to see the food being cooked for you. Staff polite and attentive. Drinks a bit expensive but they are in similar restaurants. Nice atmosphere.

Been to this restaurant numerous times with friends . The staff are really nice to 4 elderly people. Emily always remembers our drinks and food if we dont change our minds. Sean always the same friendly. Food always good thank you chefs.We visit when we can.

Fantastic service received today at Frankies Norwich, Emily was polite and attentive without being too intrusive. Loved the meal also Carbonara an old favourite with the added chicken and helping of Mozzarella! Shoutout to the kitchen staff Toby smashed it! Will definitely be returning!

We visited this branch on Friday for pancakes and on Saturday to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. All the staff were helpful and friendly and service was as quick as can be expected on a busy Saturday. We will definitely return

Went for dinner and cocktails and ended up leaving without either, service was terrible, the waitress was rude, no wonder it was practically empty on a weekend! Such a shame it used to be a good restaurant with a lovely atmosphere, won’t be giving it another chance

Visité esta noche y el menú se ha vuelto muy limitado, esperamos más de 45 minutos y el restaurante estaba medio vacío. Tuve una hamburguesa vegana que no venía con nada en la lista. Los chips parecían haber salido de una caja de microondas. Y la hamburguesa era muy pequeña y pobre. Mi compañero tenía un trozo pequeño y delgado de pollo con tocino y papas fritas y todo estaba frío. Terminamos en 15 minutos y nos fuimos. No volveremos Gracias a Dios tuvimos un 33% de descuento

Waited over an hour for our food to be brought over. Restaurant is so busy making food for home delivery orders that the in-house customers are neglected. Waitress was lovely but was not able to salvage my daughter’s birthday celebrations - totally ruined the evening.

First impression was, it looks very nice and clean. Soon got shown to our table and soon got served. The meals we had was very nice, but I did think it was expensive for what we got. Around 9pm, we noticed that they up the music so loud that we had to shout to hear ourselves, especially me when I have a hearing problem. I don’t feel they needed to do that, we could perfectly hear the music quite well in the first place. The waitress we had was friendly.
