Bird in Hackney

Ordered through UberEats. We got two burgers, two sexy fries and a mac and cheese.The burger bun was dry, the sexy fries were absolutely nothing like the photos and at a whopping £5 each, I would have expected something half presentable. The Mac and cheese was an absolute joke. We got the side but there were barely two spoons of Mac and cheese in a tub which was 10% full. See pictures. You can see the shadow on the outside of the tub which indicates how full the Mac and cheese tub was.We tried to call the restaurant to complain but no answer and auto response from ubereats telling us feedback will be passed on.I’ll never order again from here.

First time order: could have loved more. Second time order. Didn’t love but assumed was one off. Third time order: just awful. Dry and overcooked. Probably been on display so long as delivery was within me within 20 mins. Fourth order: will not happen.

Visited local Brixton store twice now. Much friendlier staff at Bird than than the frequently rude staff at Other Side Fried. Sadly the chicken both times has been very dry.

Wow this is the BEST fried chicken I have ever tasted EVER. If I lived in London I would go to this place all the time! Visiting london, visit BIRD!!

Myself and a group of friends went to Bird recently and had a wonderful time! Great service from the staff who were incredibly attentive, the food was great and we loved the range of sauces for the tasty wings, they also do a fabulous selection of cocktails.... what else could you need! Would definitely go again.

Simply the best chicken shop in the whole of London, and one of my favourite restaurants ever. Lots of choice in how you have your chicken, great place for a group of mates to go.

Called into Shoreditch for one of their Ice Cream Donut Sandwiches following all the hype we had read about them.

As a coeliac, I was really excited to try the gluten free chicken! I was definitely not let down, and the chips to go with them were excellent.

Me and a group of friends went to Bird last week. The chicken wings were good although even the hot sauce wasn't hot enough. The fries were amazing as well as the burger and the doughnut ice cream. They're not very good at clearing the tables and do forget what people have ordered though.

We sat until 9:45 after work, at which pint the waiter was incredibly rude because he wanted to go home. Absolutely would not recommend for service alone.

I had a great meal - buffalo chicken wrap was excellent with nice heat burn. Great craft beer selection and the donut ice cream sandwich with an orange-espresso martini was a nice finish for the meal. I’d go back to eat here in a quick heartbeat! They had a very steady delivery service during my visit and my table service was quick.

En lo que se refiere a los platos principales, las cosas han bajado un poco. Han intentado ser demasiado experimentales. El waffle de pollo caribeño no era bueno y realmente debería ser retirado del menú en mi humilde opinión. El "poutine canadiense" tampoco era auténtico. Era sólo caro patatas fritas. Had food delivered from bird today at around 930, ordered the mash and gravy, chicken wings and blue cheese sauce, cauliflower and some drinks. The mash and gravy was a tiny portion, no more than two spoons worth, it was colder than room temperature, underseasoned and had bits of macaroni pasta floating around in the mash. The chicken wings were underseasoned, burnt, the batter was flalling off and the blue cheese dip had split and tasted vinegary. The cauliflower was greasy and overcooked, looked disgusting and smelt awful. The drinks we ordered were also wrong. The only upside to this food was knowing that id already got my worst meal of 2019 out of the way.

I'd heard good things about Bird so came with some friends for the all-you-can-eat deal.

Quick service, tasty food and lively atmosphere. Waffle chicken burger is an interesting combo of sweet and savoury, enjoyed it, certainly beats your usual chain restaurant for chicken by a mile.

For a Thursday night the restaurant was a lot quieter than expected. Our waiter was helpful and very patient considering a number of our group kept changing their minds. The cocktails were nice, the popcorn whiskey cocktail is to be avoided as my colleague discovered much to his disgust. Unfortunately Bird doesn't offer mocktails.

Came here on a Friday night with my partner. Was greeted promptly at the door and seated quickly. Quite noisy customers, placed on an inconvient table next to the bar. Staff had to keep squeezing past me. Very bad lighting, was hard to read the menu. Bar had run out of ginger beer, not cool at all. Food took a while to come out. I did not really enjoy my burger, my partner did enjoy his waffles, thought his chicken was supposed to be boneless but it was on the bone. Not too sure if I would come back but if I did i would try something else. The fries were nice. Toilets were clean.

Got here at 7:30pm got seated 45 later. Fine they were super busy but tables were waiting to pay and some tables were left empty and dirty for 20+ minutes. If on a Wednesday you are this busy, employ more staff! Asked for water 5 times before it came. Had to wait on cutlery and drinks took forever to arrive despite the really long wait to order and for the food to arrive. The chicken batter was not crisp and delicious and was honestly incredibly disappointing. The guacamole in my burger was good though. One dish didn’t arrive with the rest of the table and somehow they got brought out within 5 minutes. It’s just disappointing when you have large queues we expect the hype to be worth it!

Everything took ages for the staff to do. We ordered our drinks which took about 30 mins to arrive, they missed one drink (which was only a can of beer which they serve unopened) and we had to ask 4 different members of staff for the missing beer. We asked for some water as well which took about 40 mins to materialise. While we were trying to get waiters/waitresses’ attention they were so dismissive and clearly didn’t care about offering any good service.

Greasy chicken fried in an old oil, and service that is non-existent . I would not go back there again.

Visited 02.09 in afternoon group of 10 wanted get table, we asked for bigger table but waiterss said we have to pay 250£ if we want to sit in bigger table downstairs, so we were split in 2 different tables in different side of restaurant. I must say food is very tasty but service needs to improve especially that service charge is included

My first visit to Bird which I had heard great things about.

Does not travel well. Batter does not taste like southern fried and it is tasteless and greasy. Would not recommend. Sauces taste very watered down

My husband and I went to this place to try their famous waffle burger and it didn’t disappoint us! We ordered their Original Waffle Burger and it was huuuge! If only we knew that it was that big we should’ve just ordered one and then we could’ve just shared. Their chicken is better than KFC, in my own opinion. We also tried Vanilla Ice Cream with Cream Soda and Cheesy Korean Fries and it was just awesome! Everything was perfect except that they’re a bit pricey. But we will definitely come back for sure!

I'm of two minds about writing this review. I've been eating and loving this chicken for about 3 years and frankly it's one of my favourites in London, so i'm hoping this will be taken well.

Pedimos desde esta y en deliveroo no sólo nuestra comida tome 30 minutos más que en primer lugar no teníamos cosas de la orden que nos registramos con el deliveroo doble tipo. El conductor estaba dispuesto a recoger nuestra comida falta incluso sólo para el restaurante para negar repetidamente que me faltaba.

Fuimos con un grupo de amigos. En la actualidad, estoy en una silla de ruedas. Cada restaurante que voy a, me ayudan el paso en el restaurante si hay uno, y haremos todos los esfuerzos que pueden así que puedo sentarme en mi silla de ruedas y no tener que levantarse.

Vivimos en Los Angeles, y sabemos que el original, Roscoe pollo y restaurantes de gofres. Este era mejor. Como llegar un plato, una hamburguesa de pollo, o simplemente, o ensaladas. . En un lugar pequeño en la zona de Shoreditch, plena. Estuvimos allí durante la Copa del Mundo, y este estaba ocurriendo. Fui allí dos veces en cuatro días.

I ordered bird to be delivered. Firstly the order was half an hour late, when the food did arrive 2 portions of chips were missing and they refused to resend our chips (which was part of a meal) and insisted they had sent them. With the food we did receive, we were short of wings and chicken strips. To be precise we were short of 3 wings and 1 chicken strip. For the money you pay I expect to receive what I have ordered with the correct amount of food.

I’ve been here three times now and each time the food as been really good but the service has been questionable. I don’t think I’ll be going again after my last visit which is disappointing. I ordered a drink that didn’t come and was still charged for. It took a long time to get our order taken, our fries arrived long after we had finished our burgers and my friends korean fries only came after we told them we hadn’t received them. It just seemed like the staff weren’t attentive and it was a bit of a mess. The table next to me were complaining about similar things and overall the service just kind of ruined my experience unfortunately.

I somehow came across this rating and I felt it's necessary for me to rate myself. This place simply has the best possible wings I've tasted in my life. That buffalo sauce. That perfect temperature. The perfect crispy outside. This place deserves awards and your soul. Go there. For anyone that had a bad experience, go back. You're wrong. Go eat grass you cows, it's London priced but the best thing ever.

The service was perfect, fast, attentive and really welcoming. A young guy recognised our Northern Irish accents and mentioned he used to live there. They gave us great recommendations on the food and drink and even roped us into a dessert.

If you love dry, overcooked, horrible chicken then this is the place for you! They're also experts in terrible service.

The service was fairly friendly, the food was ok. Tasty enough but slightly overcooked chicken, reasonably priced which is good. We enjoyed it but as there are loads of better chicken places in London, we'll probably go back to those instead.

Popping in on a Friday evening about 7pm, we found the place quite empty. Seated promptly and placed drinks order. Advised that the cocktails were on 2-4-1 till 7:30 so ordered 2. Did ask if we could get one at a time but was advised this was not possible. Food ordered and within 15 minutes it had arrived. Chicken burger was tasty with a nice bit of chicken in it. The chicken tenders were quite bad, not at all crispy. The best bit of the meal was the fries. Crispy, well seasoned and hot!

Expensive for a takeaway but a little different & very enjoyable. Burger was very tasty & best French fries I’ve had in a long time. Served very fresh & very very hot. Worth a try.

The lady and gentlemen that served me were both lovely. The location and restaurant itself is fantastic. I can’t comment too much on the food as it’s my first time here and I only had one dish but the chicken really wasn’t nice at all. Very dry. No taste. The sauce was not good either. Didn’t taste like bbq sauce and very watery taste with a strange flavour. I’m far from a fussy eater but I really didn’t rate the food I had and for that reason I don’t plan on returning anytime soon. The doughnuts however looked nice. It Is such a shame as the staff and restaurant has a lot of potential.

Went to this place for my sister's 18th birthday and like most of the group, I ordered the chicken and waffles. Who would have guessed that the two would have mixed perfectly? The fried chicken had a crispy exterior and tender centre whilst the waffles...

Stopped by Bird for some fried chicken and doughnuts. The chicken was incredible: soft and juicy whilst still being crispy. Doughnuts were good too. They tasted like they'd been properly made and not fried and greasy like some I'd had.

The chicken had no flavour whatsoever and the sauce didn’t help because it was just horrible. The food overall was so disappointing I wouldn’t want anyone to waste their time and money here. The buffalo wing was just salty and the coleslaw was also very salty. It was either too salty or too bland- no inbetween.

One of my favourite restaurants. This place does the best fried chicken ever. If you go, make sure you try the chicken waffle burger. Customer service is average but it’s great value.

Pedí el pollo amigo y estaba delicioso, las patatas fritas eran crujientes. Probamos el sándwich de helado de donut, pero era demasiado dulce y enfermizo. En general, me gustó mucho la alimentación y volvería de nuevo.

Its a good place to spice up your eating out routine. Menu isnt big but different chicken options are available, so if you're not into chicken burger, you can have chicken waffles or wings or tenders etc The chicken itself was pretty nice and the service was alright, but something about the vibe didnt speak to me, there is something in that place missing, dont know what though, I leave it to the team to figure out !

Went there last night for something different from burgers. I liked the atmosphere and the service. Waiting staff were nice and helpful. The food is not bad but we didn't like the sauces they use. French fries with Korean(-ish) sauce for my husband and the sticky soy glaze for my chicken wings did not convince us. We preferred simple no sauce version. Fried chicken was good though, Shame they sold out the milkshakes so next time I'll come back for a salted caramel shake.

Met to slow service, understandably it was busy however we waited for a while and seemed to be forgotten about, we did receive a free bottle of wine as an apology.Not many options on the menu however the food we ordered was great.

We saw a voucher for Bird on TimeOut London for a three-course offering (sides, a chicken burger and a dessert). There was no harm trying Bird, especially at that price (I can't remember exactly how much that voucher was for but it was something like £15 per person plus drinks). So I reluctantly agreed to purchase the vouchers and off we went.The staff were absolutely friendly, and wanted to talk about their food. I know the word passionate is overused in the food business, but they were. They were actually excited about the food! They were completely happy that we had the vouchers and they explained how we could get the most out of our vouchers. So order the food we did!We both ordered wings as sides. We ordered wings with the honey and ginger sauce. The sauce was on the sweet side but had that lovely ginger hit that stopped the honey from being sickly sweet. It was a lovely sauce for the perfectly cooked wings. We also ordered the buffalo wings. I loved it because it wasn't blow-your-head-off spicy. I love spicy food but I like it when it's not so spicy that you can't taste what you're eating because it was too hot! It was just the right blend of spicy, tangy and the floral peppery notes. Plus, the accompanying blue cheese sauce was yummy and was an absolute bonus. There are a total of 7 sauces to choose from to accompany your wings and 2 types of glazed wings (buffalo and Korean-style).Then we ordered the chicken burgers. There are 6 burgers to choose from the menu. Being the buffalo addict that I was, I ordered the buffalo blue chicken burger. This burger is a battered boneless chicken thigh fillet served on a brioche bun with buffalo sauce and a blue cheese slaw.  We also ordered a bacon cheese burger which was also served on a brioche bun with a boneless thigh fillet and American cheese, bacon, mayo and house BBQ sauce..Then we ordered Bird's doughnuts for dessert. We ordered a doughnut ice cream sandwich which I thought was a dessert big enough to feed a family of four and the daily glazed doughnut special - which was, on the day, a mint chocolate glazed donut. It was such a HUGE MEAL and which came to about £20, including drinks and service charge, per person with a voucher. We were looked after, but it wasn't saccharine-sweet sincerity. It felt very genuine, and they really wanted us to have a really good Bird experience. We didn't feel smothered and I was quite impressed because they asked us if the food was okay before we took bites, which I thought was nice. It's never nice talking around a mouthful of food.When they saw me taking pictures, one member of staff, a cheeky but charming French guy (I wish I'd taken his name), encouraged me to take photos and to tell people about Bird and to write a review on TripAdvisor! I thought was brave because he hadn't asked me yet whether we had a good time. I think he knew that we ate well and that the food was good. That confidence in their product speaks well. And to be fair, we like it so much, we went back again for just the wings!

Attended here on the evening of 23 August 2017 with a friend. We arrived here at around 1800, and it was fairly quiet. First impressions where that it is quite a fast moving restaurant, seemed clean, and very heavily marketed as you would expect. We were given the choice of areas to sit, now that became a little bit irritating when you're as indecisive as I. We ended up next to a party of 12 people who I must say absolutely ruined the experience here. Yes, okay, we should have moved but initially it seemed fine, and it's a bit hard to get up and locate elsewhere when your food is in front of you. There's my little rant anyway, let's talk about the food. Smallish menu, but then again, what are you really going to eat here other than Chicken. That's what the place is all about. If you're a Vegan or Veggie, forget about it. I asked our waitress (Ariadna) what she would recommend and the Buffalo Blue (Thigh, Buffalo sauce, and blue cheese slaw) was recommended, and I didn't personally fancy that. So, I asked what the Bacon Cheese was like, which was well supported. I also went for the Cheesy Korean Fries, and a pot of the Mash and Gravy. All in all, this food is filling! But properly filling. To the point where I was actually struggling to finish. This is nobody's fault but my own remember, especially when you double up on Carbs! I didn't try the wings, and I really wish that I had. But I guess that gives me an excuse to return. Okay, yeah it was a nice restaurant, service was fine, noise was questionable (but that was no fault of the restaurant), but I would say that this restaurant didnt blow my socks off. It just filled them up. Maybe I am being harsh when I rate this as average, because it is above average. I'll stick with my rating though. Give it a go.

A friend and I visited Bird yesterday after giving in to the urge for fried chicken. When you first walk in it isn't apparent whether you wait to be seated or find a table for yourself - not helped by the barely visible staff (lack thereof and attire). I asked for a booth but was denied and when asked why was told they 'always have to keep one free' - this was despite there being a large table unoccupied. We were seated and made our decisions and waited. And waited. And waited. No drinks were offered before our food order was taken. I ordered the large skillet with a side of cheesy Korean fries and deep fried pickles - most of which was excellent - the fries, beneath the cheese and sauce were lukewarm. My friend ordered a large skillet with a side of mash and gravy - again, both excellent. Unfortunately the waiter didn't understand what 'no sauce' meant with my friend having to repeat herself three times - being told 'it's free' and 'it's included'. I ordered a second drink halfway through my meal which came once we were both done eating so I turned it down and asked for the bill. The bill, unexplained at the time of being seated included a service charge. I asked for this to be removed which the waiter did without question. Literally, without question. He's either poorly trained, not interested in what was wrong or is so used to the request he simply adheres to it - or possibly a combination of all three.To sum up the service the card machine had run out of paper and the waiter couldn't find a new roll. He asked a colleague where it was who could barely be bothered to raise her arm high enough to point to a place where he had already looked mumbling she had to take an order and walked off.

Came here on a Saturday night after recently trying another similar style restaurant in the area hoping to compare meals. The quality and seasoning of the chicken here is far superior, really tender with some great flavours. Three of us had the chicken and waffles, three of us swapped the thigh & leg meat for chicken breast and it was delicious. The thigh and legs were positively received as well so its just down to personal choice.The wings were succulent with a great choice of sauces, the Korean was a particular favourite!Side dishes are where this restaurant is let down, there isn't a great deal of choice and most of them aren't really to our taste. We shared Korean fries and the halloumi skillet which were both delicious however we would have liked sweet potato fries or mac n cheese etc like similar restaurants offer. The meal was so satisfying we couldn't eat dessert but as I had seen the doughnuts be raved about I ordered one to take home - I don't recommend this! I wish I had eaten it in the restaurant as part of the doughnut ice cream sandwich as they are so dense and huge it was too much to eat on its own. All in all a great meal and looking forward to returning. It came to just over £30 a head including a beer each.

Ok so an American style restaurant serving basically American food. First off the waffle and fried chicken is... I'll say just above average is nothing to blow your mind but I had to try it as I was curious. My girlfriend is a vegetarian and she didn't like the veggie menu and yes yes yes I know it's called the bird. Tried the fries, grilled skillet and wings as well. Again above average and I would recommend the salted caramel shake. Now the desert was nothing special at all, matter of fact my wife said it's not nice and she had the with ice cream. Between 4 of is it came to £88. It's worth a "try" but not somewhere I'll go running back to.

My boyfriend and I visited Bird yesterday and had an awesome time. We purchased the unlimited wings, fries and prosecco through the Timeout website. The staff were very attentive, checking up on us and were more than happy to help. The best thing though were the wings!! They were juicy, crispy and tasty! I will definitely be going back again!

I've tried to two branches of Bird, this one and the one at Westfield Stratford Food Court. Both times I've had good food and good service.First time I went, they had a promo: 50% off all chicken items on the menu, second time, I was just craving it.A friend and I tried come of their wings but we definitely preferred the chicken and waffles. I admit that the waffle burger is a little bit much at times but it's good to have once in awhile. As it also serves halal chicken, it's one of the best places to have chicken and waffles.

So, we went there on a Time Out voucher night, however the service was absolutely abysmal. They insisted that despite all having vouchers we didn't have the same time and we ended up sitting at 5 tables (there were 8 of us!). The manager was absolutely terrible - kept blindly insisting it was out of her control and verging on the aggressive. This was made all the worse when she dropped a full glass of Prosecco over my mate!The food was mediocre at best - the chicken wings are pretty dry and terrible and the sauces are unoriginal and lack any serious heat, flavour etc.I look forward to the inevitable day when I walk past and this place is shut. And I sincerely hope the 'manager' is never allowed to be in charge of another restaurant again.

The worst place to eat. Aggressive and lying staff, chips that tasted bland and looked like scraps and leftovers, chicken wings flavours that were flavourless and an atmosphere that made you feel unwelcome and trapped. We bought Timeout vouchers which Bird Shorditch initially refused to honour because they were busy (This was stated nowhere in their terms and conditions). After complaining for 45 minutes, the manager finally agreed to let us sit and eat with the Vouchers provided. This started the evening on such a downer. As we waited for our food, we felt tense and uneasy. Drinks orders were mixed up, plates and cutlery were dirty, staff looked like they were unsure of their jobs (most staff were lovely in reflection but just badly managed and undertrained). Other tables were arguing with management about being refused timeout vouchers. I literally felt like I was in a restaurant that had no code of practise and were just looking to con customers out of money. Literally the worst place to go. Stay away.

Rip off! The place is a hole.Waited 45 mins for a glass of water. Got charged £28 for 12 (admittedly tasty) wings and 2 glasses of cheap tasting sparking wine.

The food was average, not worth the price would rather eat at KFC and then have drinks elsewhere. In fairness, the staff are all friendly however they need more staff to cope with demand on friday so i don't fault the waiters/waitresses, management need to rethink their staffing plans e.g. Took 35 minutes for 6 drinks to come to us, only one card machine working which meant we waited 20 minutes to pay the bill.

Really friendly, fast, staff. Great drinks and tasty moist meat with insanely crispy skin it will set a standard that will make other southern fried chicken shops in the UK put to shame.

Chicken is always well cooked and service is quick. Generally fairly empty at lunch time. Unless you want waffles or doughnuts with your chicken, though, it's all pretty much the same - chicken with bones or chicken without. Wide range of sauces and good fries. Never dared to try the specials, which mix chicken with ice cream and alcohol. Great place if you like chicken and don't want variety.

We just came in for a quick dinner before a local event. We all loved it! Service was friendly and efficient, food was to die for! I had the wings and they were so tender, well cooked and tasty. Sides were also top notch. Will come back for sure!

Flew into London and are staying in Shoreditch. We needed a quick bite to eat, and a place which has Gluten Free items. The Bird was a block away, and what a find. A neighborhood restaurant with all fried chicken GF. My wife was able to eat fried chicken out for the first time in years. It's a small place with only twenty tables and at one point had a line out the door for take way meals. It only serves chicken dishes, and it has a full bar. It has good music and free wifi.

It was quite empty when I went in- although the waiter was quick the food took ages.I went for the big skillet- it would have been enough on its own without sides. The chicken was well cooked in a crisp coating but it didn't taste amazing, it was quite bland. I had the fries which were ok. The Caesar salad was a bit pants. Too much bread.Pretty average overall.

Spent almost £200 on food for our company (16 people) hoping it was going to be amazing based on reviews I have heard from friends... chicken was hard to chew and quite dry. The chicken/batter ratio was almost 50:50. Having been to Chick'n Sour the week before, I was hoping it would kind of be the same - it wasn't. Food presentation was bad... so bad it looked like chunder on a bun. I'm sorry, but I really can't remember when I last ate something so bad. I've been to KFC once, about ten years ago, and I'm almost certain it was better than what I had today.

I went with my family to your Shoreditch branch. Made a purchase online for the set menu. We got to the restaurant no one had a clue what was going on- no one at the front to greet and set us- they didn't even know what the Ramadan set menu was .. lucky there was one lady I think she was management. She took as to our seats and then left us to decide what we would like to order. We got no explanation for what we can choose.. there was no point of us looking at the whole menu when we had brought a set menu online .. anyway as time was getting closer to breaking our fast .. as we had been fasting for 18hours and we had booked the Ramadan set menu..I had to get up and ask some some to explain to us what are our options and serve us. This person again had no clue about the set menu and kept going online to a iPad to get information of what we can have as part of our set menu and we can't have. The food was not great the Oreo milkshake was thick ice cream -it's a good idea to provide a spoon with the milkshake .. the doughnuts are not that great - dry to be honest it didn't taste as if they were fresh (maybe made on the day in the morning) .. very over priced .. 250ml coke for £2:50.. 3 people went it cost us £70. I wouldn't go there again and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. And the music was loud and had lots of swearing in it. - I should have just stayed at home.

Went for my birthday as it was advertised through friends as being a great destination for quick eats and to try! The booking was madness, yes booking for 10 is difficult but it took several rings and several follow up calls, followed by more follow up calls before I got a response. Email was never responded to... The food was good, the batter is wonderfully spiced and the chicken succulent! Korean fries was delicious and we loved their nice array selection of sauces. The bar staff were attentive and cocktails arrived fast and quick. Sadly for me the service was a little off, they seemed constantly busy although the place was only half full.. took several times to get the bill and quite a few dessert orders came wrong.Would definitely try another branch as the food was good! But not incredible, the service was a disappointment here but the music was fantastic!

I had the chicken and waffles were perfect with ting. Chicken was fresh, fried to perfection and waffles just right, fingerlicking good. Staff was wonderful, I recommend you try it.

Food and service were average... Prices reasonable for what you get. Enjoyed the Korean fries though!

I was there today with my boyfriend and even though it was Sunday and midday it was almost empty... I normally have my suspicions when I see a place empty but I had wanted to go anyway for a while as I've heard good reviews so in we went...I ordered buffalo chicken tenders with blue cheese dip and korean fries (£7 + £4.5) and a mojito (£8 for basically a glass of ice) and my boyfriend ordered the waffle chicken and corn pudding (£11 + £4.5). My food was very average, the buffalo sauce was not very good and it made the chicken soggy. My boyfriend was a bit happier although he said the waffles were cold even though we were almost the only ones there.Not worth the price and fame in my opinion. I had high expectations and left dissapointed.

Had the waffle burger, and was the most beautiful thing ever, and will be going to bed dreaming about it. Staff and service was epic. We only had tap water and they were always refilling glasses!The food portions were big and let us take our time! People saying it is over priced and average? This is free range organic chicken. Such a rarity in restaurants these days, and such an important message to be sending. Will be back.

Came in for lunch. The restaurant wasn't full but yet it took nearly an hour to get our food. We were seated beside the pass and could see that food sat for a long time under the lights while the rest of orders were prepared. Over time we saw food returned to the kitchen as being cold. More and more people including ourselves began to ask and this descended into an argument between front of house and kitchen staff over the pass. Farcical. By the time the food arrived it really didn't matter what it tasted like. In fairness I thought the food was good. The wings were quite cold as they also had sat on the pass for a long time. In the end our waitress was very apologetic and I felt for her given that she seemed to be being let down by kitchen staff, and there being too few front of house staff on. We were given complimentary doughnuts which relived some of the disappointment but would need to shape up in future.

Meal - Went with a group of friends and started off with some wings in which we shared not too sure on what sauces we got but they tasted good. Then for the main, we all went for the original waffle burger now this tasted great and I would recommend it but out of a group of four of us only one person managed to finish it, it was that big. I would say skip the starter if you go for the original waffle burger.Atmosphere - The atmosphere was chilled with a nice decor and a good choice of music in which if you ask politely they will play what you want.Service - The service was great from start to end no complaint from me.GETS MY STAMP OF APPROVAL

Very average fried chicken, and for the price I thought it was pretty overpriced. Would prefer going elsewhere. Would not recommend.
