The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving American food

What's the point in during your reservation you ask where you want to be sat to then turn up and be offered the exact opposite of what you booked? Not only did I not book a high chair table due to a family member just having surgery we were then placed in the cold and complete lack of atmosphere conservatory. The server was rude and frosty towards us and quite frankly ruined my husband's birthday meal. I was looking forward to this but I cannot recommend this place any less now.

Met the chef outside after cooking our delicious meal and thought he was a lovely genuine young man. Gave a nice environment for the pub think his name was Scott

Vegan burger is really tasty. It's great that you can use the app and choose each individual topping. The vegan biscoff milkshake was really delicious. The staff were really friendly and helpful. £10 for a burger, fries and drink is also a great price.

Overall, it was a fantastic place to eat, drink, and be merry.

Fantastic as always an great value for money

Just had a drink but will be back to eat. Place looks great very trendy. The age dried meat on show in the chillers is a cool touch!

So was planning on going out for birthday dinner unfortunately covid for us both had other ideas. So ordered on line come half hour before the delivery time was lovely and hot fresh and beautiful cooked thank you USA chicken may not have been what I was hoping for but saved the day

Bar staff were a disgrace they can’t take banter one of the girls on Saturday her attitude stunk

Could do with brightening up the decor and furniture, a little bit of a wait for food, but 100% well worth it. The food was fantastic. we did have 4 of us, so that would have slowed it up. I really can't fault the food, really worth a visit.

Best cookie dough in Leicester by a mile. We usually order takeaway but chose to pop in. £20 for 4 delicious desserts is amazing. The inside could do with a major refurb! Saying that the desserts are so good and well priced most people are willing to overlook this

Acklam Hall although grand was a little fraid around the edges, but the food in the tomahawk which was the main reason for our visit, was very disappointing. My wife ordered the garlic mushroom parmo and I ordered the shwarma board. My wife's parmo turned up with what looked like cambells gloopy mushroom soup plonked on top and my shwarma chicken was diced so small it kept rolling out of my flour wrap. But top marks to the young manageress for appeasing my wife and offering her apologies and throwing a free dessert on the bill and the young men who brought the food to our table excellent manners and friendly personality. Overall the food is king and we won't be returning but whoever reads this review I would recommend the Saltburn by sea Tomahawk restaurant. Clearly a cut above all other Tomahawk restaurants due to its food and portion size for your buck. Even so we'll done to the staff at Acklam Hall

Group dinner, amazing food and ambient.

Super food and very well priced. Portion sizes was very generous and Tasted amazing. Very friendly staff and our waitress Ellie was superb. Very polite and courteous and kept us well informed on when our food will be ready. Would highly recommend!!
