An old church, coverted to a very hip restaurant ! great 80s background music, fantastic decor. Food 6 drinks, hit the right spot, although was srange that chips did not go with the burgers, but were a side. Burgers were excellent..i would recommend though, not to serve them on the paper on top of the plates as you are not sure if you are eating paper or burger, due to all the sauces

Lovely burgers lots of gluten free options. We went on a busy Friday night the restaurant was packed but the service was great. The staff were lovely and even double checked our order and made sure the chips we ordered were gluten free as well so my husband and myself could share. My burger was delicious with a lovely gluten free bun. Would definitely eat here again.

Best wings ive ever had. Nacho's are going to be something i think about for a long time. I would definitely return. They do blue light discount too!

Still a great burger but they’ve def shrunk since I was last here - felt like I’d been served a child’s portion! Also given what you get the prices are a bit of a p-ss take - £18 for a bacon burger and here’s the p-ss take - that’s without any fries which are another £4.50!?!? And that’s for a tiny portion - thing is you can get a bigger Phillip Warren burger in a baker Tom bun in numerous nice local pubs for less than £20 and that includes fries and coleslaw etc On top of this they no longer do burnt end beans which is a shame as they were great - won’t be returning.

We have been here a number of times but disappointed on this occasion. Burger was ok, price reasonably, but add ons are expensive. Service was poor, a number of staff looked like they didn’t want to be there.

We visited the St Ives location a couple of weeks ago for my daughter’s birthday and really enjoyed it so when I saw Truro were hosting a locals night I thought it’d be rude not to go! It’s quite deceptive from the outside as I expected it to be quite dark but it was light and airy. We chose our drink, burger and side to then be surprised with a free taster of the chicken wings and nachos while we waited (both were lovely). Our food came quickly and was spot on. We ordered the mother clucker dirty fries and the trailer tots (the tots were my fave) as well as the Honey C and brisket burger. We were stuffed and couldn’t finish it so took the rest of the food home with us. We asked for the bill which took a while to come because of an error on the till system but were kept informed while we waited. My son had to go and catch a bus so left, however, while we waited for the bill I was then told we also had a dessert included in the locals night offer. It was a themed ice cream pot which I wasn’t able to takeaway for my son as there were no lids so he missed out on that unfortunately. Nevertheless, we enjoyed what we had, the service was efficient and friendly and we would definitely return again and pay full price.

Amazing service and great food. Fun vibes and all around. Casey and Jake were super attentive and Olwyn was funny!! The cocktails were yummy and good value for money. We were celebrating our course finishing and this was the perfect location for the occasion!

Went in with my Dad who is in his late 70’s, he loved it too. I really fancied a good wholesome burger after work and they didn’t disappoint, very tasty, just the right amount of food, great staff, good atmosphere, hit the spot!

It’s my unfortunate pleasure to have ask you to tread carefully at Hub Box Truro. I contracted severe food poisoning from eating one of their ‘Dirty Club’ burgers on 29/03/24!! I was scheduled to run a half marathon in Henley-On-Thames on the 31/03/24 but after violent vomiting all day on 30/03/24 I could no longer participate. This was incredibly disappointing as I had trained for many months to get into a position to run the race. I ended up spending all day in a hotel room in Reading attempting to prevent any further expulsions. I would suggest avoiding the chicken at this restaurant as it’s clearly not at the standards required to serve to the general public.

Wow!! went to boozy Bingo last night wasn't sure what to expect as we had never done this before, but was a girls night out so thought we try something different. Don't know where to start. The atmosphere was buzzing the staff were happy and helpful. The food was excellent and then the Bingo started and so did the belly laughs 😃 Jake and Dev are the next comedy double act and definitely need to brush up on the Bingo lingo which actually made it even more funnier. The bar staff were brilliant handing out the drinks on top of the jelly shots that were so strong. The prises were amazing even tho we only won one line. Such a good night will definitely be coming again 😌 Well done to the Hub box team for a fantastic evening 👏

We’ve visited our local Hubbox in Plymouth on a few occasions so as we were in the area we thought we would try this one. We were not disappointed…. The building is I think an old church? Great outside eating area, a lovely log burner as you enter the main building. Greeted by friendly staff and the service was top notch…. As was the food! Chicken tenders were succulent, an enormous portion of mac n cheese as a side, I went for the basic cheeseburger, it was superb… Thanks Hubbox…. Keep up the good work!!

I recently had family visit for a weekend break with their gentle retrieve, and finding dog friendly places to eat in the evening in Truro can be tricky. The Hob Box came highly recommended, so we booked our table. Dev, the manager, and his team were fantastic. He had time for us, answered our questions on the menu and the waiting staff, sorry I forgot their names, took great care of us throughout the evening. The food was delicious and service was fantastic. The atmosphere was great and other customers were friendly which made for a lovely evening overall. My family,including Baloo, and I were very impressed and will definitely be back.

It was a very disappointing night. We were one of those forgotten tables no one care to even ask if they have been served. Toilets are just beyond disgusting, the vile smell, the toilet paper all over the floor ( it was only 6 o clock in evening, you could almost understand it if it was midnight in the night club), the handrail at the stairs was covered in sticky dirt, all place is somewhat unkempt. Food took forever to arrive and was nothing worth remembering or returning for, white wine wasn’t chilled, just plonked in a cooler with tepid water, so no, we will not be returning
