Great food, Great staff. Love the chicken here!

Food was meag!! Very nice, the new lad that served us had a laugh with us and was very friendly. 1 thing I'll point out to customers is that if you're ordering the mac and cheese (very nice) it's a starter but it's massive and we left half of it (2 of us shared too). 250g chicken is more than enough for one person.. don't think I could have hacked 500g haha! Cheers guys

I love chicken wings, and I really want to love this place as there aren't many doing proper wings in Liverpool, and I do like it as a bar, but the wings are always really disappointing. Feel like nothing tastes quite right, and I've tried a few wing flavours. The fried chicken also tasted a bit strange and was really burnt when I visited. I shouldn't have to complain when it's black, whoever in the kitchen shouldn't send it out and put the customers in an awkward position.

The stack attack burger is arguably one of the best chicken burgers about. BUT I don't believe its because of the chicken. The white gravy is what takes top spot in making everything tasty Most of the sides are absolutely disgusting Onion rings jesus have the cooks tasted them? And the Mac and cheese have you tried eating it? It's impossible to swallow it. Its either the wrong cheese or you put way too much in I know crazy too much cheese! Lol The chicken tenders on there own are okay nice crisp to them but not much flavour very basic. I love the atmosphere low light, cool theme and the guys an gals that work there are nice and cool. I've been a few times and probably won't stop as I enjoy the atmosphere AND the tasty gravy stack attack burger. Edit: Patterson kindly invited me back to try the food again and wasn't disappointed. The onion rings are a lot better in texture and taste. The Mac and cheese was the same. But still what did not disappoint is the burgers!👍🏻 Thanks for inviting me back. Will be returning.

Food takes a bit of time to arrive but absolutely worth the wait. Tasty food. Friendly staff. Highly recommended. Loaded fries are amazing. K pop chicken also very tasty.

Me and my boyfriend came here for Valentine’s Day . And wow let me tell you, I’m so glad we did . We had the pattersons platter which consisted of the choice of the burgers or chicken burgers. Choice of flavoured wings and topped chips! It was amazing . If the picture doesn’t do it justice .. thank you pattersons for amazing food and your service !!

Food was great, we really enjoyed it. Especially after having a negative experience at a similar establishment the night before. The buffalo wings were absolutely to die for! Bit cheeky that you can't get fries as a side with your burger or wings but that's how they get you. Everything was lovely though and I enjoy the range of soft drinks they offer. Staff were lovely and friendly and the guy who gave me a takeout box for my wings even gave me information on the best way to reheat them. I did the exact way the next day and they were great! Great to see staff with actual knowledge and caring about the job and customers. Can't wait to come back and get my fill again x

Simply the best fried chicken I have ever eaten. Absolutely delicious. 100% will be coming back here as often as possible.

We visited in December during the Christmas chaos for the first time and were very impressed. There was a wait on food which we were told about before we were sat, and when it arrived it was worth the wait

Server was great, welcoming and chatty but sadly the chicken was overcooked and not as good as hoped for.

Group of 6, hadn't booked so thought we'd be disappointed but after half an hour having a drink up the road we came back to a reserved table. Service was excellent, food and drinks all spot on. 100% recommend!

If you're craving southern fried chicken, I don't think there's many better places in Liverpool. The food and service was 10/10. A special mention to the staff, too. The waiting staff who served us was bubbly, friendly, and went above and beyond. I can't say I've had many better customer experiences. I didn't catch the name but she was absolutely great and had time for everyone. If you're looking to shop local/independent, this is the place.

We ordered the fried chicken with the hash browns and coleslaw. I felt the chicken was either over cooked or they don’t change their oil. Disappointing.

Went here last weekend wasn't as good as usual, normally 10/10 menu had changed it was a bit of a let down bring back the old Pattersons menu please!!!

I really loved this place, service was spot on, the waitress we had is really polite and helpful. She asked us is everything okay, we responded yes thank you with a smile. She was the best waitress I have had in my whole life. She will be the reason why I really want to come back to that marvellous Pattersons restaurant & pub. 5 stars all round. Food, was out of the world, better than KFC chicken, better than McDonald’s chicken. I love everything about the place. I’m gonna come back next year on my own.

Food was ok, nothing exceptional. The service was also ok. The place was pretty empty when we went there and the service was still a bit slow. I think it’s something you can try, but I wouldn’t necessarily say it’s a must.

Visited here many times and never had an experience like this visit! I was bought a bottomless brunch voucher for my birthday and visited with two friends. My friend was looking forward to Dortmunder beer that was on menu but was then told they hadn’t sold it in 3 months and we questioned why it was still on the menu, no explanation really given and an alternative was provided. We ordered our food and was really looking forward to it however the food was cold and not a lot of it was eaten. We ordered our second round of drinks, the waiter brought over a cocktail and a beer, placed the cocktail down and then spilt the whole pint of beer over me, I was soaked and my food was swimming in beer which had to be replaced. The waiter apologised and grabbed me a cloth to dry off. We were told we would get a discount on our bill and when it was brought over they only took 10% off… we all agreed that wasn’t enough for the experience we had had that night, not only was the food not great, and the menu hadn’t been updated with the correct beer available but also I was soaked with beer and stunk of it all night. The manager then offered us a bigger discount which we were happy to then pay I am very disappointed with this visit and I’ve been visiting and ordering from the restaurant for many years and always enjoyed it however I won’t visiting again.

You want crunchy chicken, you go here! So tasty. Cocktails are not bad. Staff are friendly but been here a few times and always have to ask for more drinks. Could pay more attention when customers drinks are finished and ask if more are wanted. I had the salt and pepa burger, my partner has Korean BBQ burger, loaded fries, onion rings, hash browns.

Went to Pattersons on Friday night. Despite the restaurant being busy, servers were kind, welcoming and attentive with food arriving quickly understanding how busy the restaurant was. The chicken, fries and wings were fried to perfection and the cocktails were just as tasty as they were unique. Will definitely be returning soon.

Staff were very friendly and polite, loved the geordie lad who helped us out. Food was immense, couldn’t recommend more!

Came across this with my girlfriend and came in quite late, but the staff were so accommodating and lovely. The ambience of the restaurant is very chill and the drinks whilst we waited for our food was class! Me and my partner both got what I think was called a juicy. We ordered chicken tenders, hashbrowns, and buffalo wings and a 500g chicken bucket between us and the food all arrived so quickly! The service was impeccable as all the staff are so friendly. My favourite was the the chicken tenders. Thank you Pattersons team! xxx

Incredible experience!!! Went for cocktails initially and ended up staying for food because the vibe was vibing way too hard. Music was banging. Get the juicy cocktail it’s unbelievable! Out waitress Abby was so fun and friendly! The food came down, best nachos I’ve ever had in my entire life! I would fight a rabid ostrich just the lick a table that those nachos had been on. DO NOT MISS OUT GO TODAY.

I would like to recommend this place to all of you who haven't been to this place yet, the food was amazing and the portions were very filling ! staff were extremely friendly and professional , the atmosphere is very quaiet and relaxing for someone who wants to enjoy some nice peace and quaiet for themselfs. I defo recommend this place.

Amazing meal for my 18th Birthday. All staff were lovely, particularly the guy with blueish hair, waited on us all night and was amazing throughout the entire night. Food was amazing the best chicken i've ever had from a restaurant, medium paced service is quickly made up for with the amazing food. The atmosphere in the restaurant was really relaxed and it was not too busy or rowdy especially for a Saturday night, thank you for such an amazing meal and accommodating balloons being brought into the restaurant etc. Will definitely be returning again. Thank you very much :)

Disappointing. Food not that great. Chicken was tough and over-cooked, if you want sauce with your food your have to pay extra. The burger also had the smallest amount of cheese and didn't come with fries. You do get a lot of chicken bits even with the smallest order but unfortunately the food just isn't the best. The restaurant was nice though and had lots of cool stuff going on and the staff were nice also.

This place has appealed to me for a while due to the fun, hearty pop culture aesthetic of it. Needless to say I was very impressed with the amazing food, chill atmosphere and incredibly friendly staff. The issues we found however were food took a while to arrive to our table, a couple items were initially not written down in our order and we were slightly charged wrong. Don’t let these issues affect your view of this great place though, since we found all of them were quickly corrected by staff who were very apologetic. Now the main thing which we loved, the food. Everything was cooked incredibly hot, juicy, tender, along with tasting deliciously seasoned. When u ask for your chicken spicy here they will listen to you. The spicy fried chicken as mentioned and non spicy chicken are greatly filling, they will give any chicken place a run for their money. in our case this time the food easily beat any other fast food of a similar genre. Alongside this the variety in sides and sauces is very tasty and perfectly crisped and seasoned. I find it great how a place like this known for American oriented food. Will have something like salt and pepper fries, which taste better than many other establishments version of it. It’s important to mention for those conscious about the spending, all the portions are very large, fairly priced and filling. You’re going to get your moneys worth whether it’s through food, (or the soothing strawberry smoothie I got). Next time you want American fast food, or just a relaxing place to chill with friends this is the place to try.

Things started off great but when food came it was cold in places and abit bland. Felt potentually microwaved. Sure it was just a bad time to go as reviews we've heard from friends were good from some time ago. Shame really as it was a special occasion.

First time been here last minute decision cos my daughter was on her own in her flat. Food was delicious piping hot wouldn't ever leave there hungry even got a doggy bag. Highly recommend it very quiet but only a Monday night.

Came here on a quiet Monday with my parents after raving about Pattersons for months, after recently moving across the street from it. Did not disappoint and lived up to expectations! Their chicken will always be superior!! We were the only diners in the restaurant at one point and still had a wholesome and welcoming feeling and will always return! £55 for 3 people including 3 drinks (not just soft drinks too), portions were perfect, sever was polite and sweet too :)

Great place with great food and service. Kids soft drinks selection is limited but good enough. Service lads are very good and friendly.

Orders the double chicken has brown cheese bbq sauce burger. Waited 45 minutes. Chicken was so dry and chewy. Cheese not melted at all. Very bland. Gutted as was really looking forward to it.

A good holiday experience with good food and drink

Food was cold when it came out. Looks good and would have tasted good if was warm. Quite disappointed overall. The service however was good.

First time here, got a platter for £36 which was two burgers, topped fries, onion rings and wings. They were absolutely banging, top quality and home made. My wife also got what she described as the best nachos ever! The waitress was extremely helpful and polite. We will come back again, without a doubt!

The place is lovely and such a good spot in the area, the chicken was immense, honestly so tender and the chips weren't greasy and super crispy. They did food right! Price was reasonable and well worth what I paid for. Staff were polite and kind, I'll definelty be back for arguably the best chicken in liverpool!

Arrived here after looking at all the good reviews. The food looked delicious but was really greasy and needs more seasoning. The chicken itself was well coated and cooked to perfection, it just needs more seasoning and less grease. The onion rings were nice, but again greasy and needed more seasoning. The hash browns were good. Our waitress was really nice but overall the food sucked.

The food was incredible. Service staff were very welcoming and friendly. We were late arriving for our reservation but the team were still accommodating. There was a slight hiccup with our order but the staff immediately identified it, apologised and made amends which we really appreciated. Would definitely go again.

Pattersons used to be my go to burger venue, it never disappointed! I booked to go a few ago, it was extremely busy and myself and my partner were shown to our table, however no staff approached us thereafter with any menu's or to take a simple drinks order, 30 mins passed and we decided to leave. Hoping that this experience was just a once off, we returned tonight, only to be sat waiting at our table again. With the restaurant being very quiet tonight, we decided not to waste any more time and left and unfortunately won't return in the near future as a result of the last two experiences here.

Food and service were great and nicely calm for the game. Particular note to the friendliness of the two girls that looked after us for a few hours on a Sunday afternoon. My partner ordered the (now hotter! ) exorcist salsa which she loved. I dipped my tongue in my drink to cool it down 😂 Will definitely be back soon

Used to be one of my favourite places to eat in Liverpool, but the menu has gone down in choice. The quality of food the last few times has been really poor, and on top of that, it is absolutely freezing in there. Sadly, it will probably be the last time I go. So, I haven't been here for a while. You can happily say they have got their act together. Food was lovely a bit of a wait, but it was worth it. Staff were amazing, so helpful and friendly. I'm so happy I can add this back onto my go-to list. Would recommend

Great food from here if you like chicken! The gravy is to die for and great chips too. Prices are really reasonable. It's dog friendly too which is always a bonus.

This is by far the best fried chicken in Liverpool, nothing and nowhere else even comes close and we will never go to or recommend any other high street fried chicken fast food place ever again . The staff are amazing and make you feel really welcome and at home and nothing is to much trouble they are so lovely and friendly. The terrace on the roof is great when the weather is nice and if not the chilled out vibe downstairs is great whether your out with family, friends, as a couple or on your own you won't be disappointed. 5* all the way and I would give more stars if possible 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Amazing chicken and great beer. Great service and a lovely chill atmosphere. We stayed for a full pint after we finished our dinner.

Visited on 29th July, food was amazing, everyone on our table was stuffed and great value. Only small downside is 2 pound for barrs cans and the discretionary 10 percent tip. At least it was mentioned and offer to take off. I don't think this is a staff choice as they felt awkward mentioning it, but great service and great food

Heard about this place online and went and checked it out, I wasn’t disappointed! Excellent food and service!

Visited the terrace with my daughter and dog for something to eat (and ice cream of course!) the food was amazing, flavourful. The waitress with blonde hair provided the best social interaction i have ever experienced from any member of staff when eating out. We will be back for sure!

This place absolutely brilliant! The vibe is great, you can play games while waiting it’s great , the staff are welcoming an relaxed an just overall awesome people !! The food is just what you need it’s filling maybe the portions of the fries could be bigger but the rice is gorgeous

Really great food and if you get large side with friends it works out good value as well ..we had abit of a wait when we entered after asking to wait before ordering drinks, it was abit odd he made us wait 15 mins after we asked to look at the drinks . Outside of that no complaints , friendly staff and great food .

First of all the atmosphere was amazing and very interesting. also the staff were really nice and friendly but the food wasn’t good to be honest. it was very oily and salty, but the taste was good. however from my point of view it could be better.

We have been going Pats since they first opened and can not fault it. Never a disappointing meal in the hundreds of times we have eaten in or had it delivered! And no hard feelings for scraping the dr pepper wings or katsu curry 😂 They were replaced with more amazing food! Super dog friendly and is a second home to our pup who pulls up from the car park all the way there🐶

Went to the Patterson at Baltic Market. Ordered the £10 chicken meal. Got two tinny pieces of chicken on top of a mountain of fries. Chicken was badly breaded, irregularly coated, it was bland, the inside of the chicken was as dry as a desert. The fries were bland too. Very disappointed. Will not come back.

Visited over the bank holiday weekend after a recommendation from family and wasn’t disappointed Their ‘famous chicken’ was flavourful and tender, but the winner for me was the wings. I opted for the honey sriracha and they were unbelievable, some of the best I’ve tried The cocktails are fun and boozy, which is always important! The only gripe with our visit was we booked a table but unfortunately didn’t get a booth but will definitely specify on our next visit A nice little surprise was their roof terrace which we didn’t realise was there until the end of our meal so we stayed for another drink before leaving

Came here after seeing positive reviews online. I'd had a long drive and was looking forward to something decadent and satiating. We ordered the Plain Jane burger and the Fried Chicken. Unfortunately the chicken, though moist, was too sour and underseasoned. Seems it had been marinated in buttermilk for too long. A crispy, salty coating might have saved it but it was neither of these things. Lattice and curly fries were good but the Korean inspired dipping sauce was a bit thin and bland. Aside from the food, the music was far too loud! My companion who already had a headache couldn't wait to leave. Staff were friendly, knew the menu well and were happy to make recommendations. Good concept, interesting menu but it didn't deliver on this occasion. Hopefully an atypical experience.

Went here with my boyfriend after saying we’d go for a while as it looks unreal. We were disappointed by the food - chicken was bland and overly greasy. Everything else was pretty bland too although the chips were really nice. Gravy kind of tasted like bisto? Im sure it wasn’t but the point i’m making is it was something I probably could have made myself which isn’t what you want when you pay £40 to eat out. Waiting staff were fine and the atmosphere was good. The food filled us up but i’m not sure we’d be returning. It looks and smells amazing but just doesn’t have the flavour to it. Not awful but nothing special.

Disappointed, used to love coming to eat here. Glasses were dirty, waited for the table to be cleared for 20 minutes on the terrace. Was told napkins would be bought up to our table - never happened. We ordered 1kg of chicken and it was barley edible, felt like we had just been given scraps that were the horrible bits of chicken with veins and skin. It was also dry. Have always been happy to pay the compulsory tip when ordering via the QR code but this time i really feel like they didn’t deserve it.

Very mediocre. Can’t complain about the speed of service or the temperature, but that’s about it. The flavour was so bland, and the chicken wasn’t great quality. Quite pricey too. Wouldn’t order again.

My friends suggested this chicken shop and coined it the best chicken shop in Liverpool. Perhaps chicken bucket would be a better choice for lunch. Instead I followed two girls on the next table and ordered fries with marinated fried chicken on top. I was a bit disappointed. The curly fries were good but the chicken was only average. The venue seemed fun and the waitress was friendly and helpful. A meal for two was about £37 (with soft drinks).

Was in town with some friends and came across this place. I've done wing challenges before but the time limit on this one put me off so I just order a regular portion to go with my other food. When they came I was really disappointed. Don't get me wrong these things are HOT and I can handle a lot of spice, but the sauce is basically poorly blended chillies (there were bits of non identifiable but very hot chilies all over the place) and nothing else. The guys here are kinda missing the 'sauce' point it all, like some sweetness or acidity, you might as well just be given a whole ghost pepper on top of some fried chicken as is. The service was fantastic (our server was a blonde haired woman with coloured contacts who I unfortunately cant remember the name of, but she was really friendly) and the food is clearly good quality, just that wing sauce actually needs some care and attention because its a bit half done as is.

Very disappointed with the decline in quality of food here. Me and my friends have been going for years pre lockdown and always had really good food and staff were very friendly and helpful. Pattersons has always had really good food and brilliant atmosphere. Since lockdown, the quality of food has took a massive dive. Gave it a few chances after having poor quality food last time thinking it was a 1 off. Was in yesterday and the food was even worse. Chicken was burnt and super dry and burgers were really greasy. A shame as I really enjoyed this place pre lockdown. Sadly lost its atmosphere and quality. Staff are still friendly, but seem to have lost interest in the food side of things.

The food is incredible, we got one of the sharing dishes and it was a lot of food however we ate it all, so flavorful and delicious, staff really friendly, next time I’m in Liverpool I will 110% be coming back !

Ordered from their stall in Baltic market. Honestly the worst fried chicken I’ve ever had. It came literally 1 minute after ordering which should’ve been a red flag - they’d clearly just dumped some fried chicken that had been sat on the side onto our plate and served it. It was soggy, lukewarm, no crunch at all, and half of the chicken wasn’t even coated. It was also really dry. No excuse as they weren’t even busy, it was a Thursday night and the two people working there were just stood there chatting most of the time. We were really excited to try and were genuinely so disappointed.
