Came here not long ago after we had trouble getting a table elsewhere and it could not have worked out better! We were served by the lovely Sienna (hope I’m spelling that correctly) who just absolutely radiated sunshine. Nothing was too much trouble and she was more than accommodating. The chefs accidentally included onions on my burger after i made it clear that i was intolerant, but our lovely server Alice went above and beyond to sort this out for me and got the chefs to make the burger from scratch which I really appreciated! <3

Our server Caitlyn was an absolute delight, she was on hand throughout our visit to provide exceptional service. Highly recommend a visit here. The food was okay too!

Amazing place!!! Came here for a family meal for a birthday, and it was a next level experience. Apart from the food and drinks being incredible, the staff were so lovely, super friendly, and arranged to sing Happy Birthday! We were looked after mostly by Sienna who went above and beyond to make our evening so special. We will definitely be back :)

We ordered the menu from Monday to Thursday and the truth is that everything was quite good, the only negative would be the beef burger, it was ridiculously small, but for the price of the menu you can't ask for more, I would recommend ordering the chicken one because of its size and for starters, the onion rings were very good, the staff was very attentive, fast and very professional.

Delicious festive burger and loved the roasted tots cooked to golden, crispy perfection. My server Brenna was lovely! Will be sure to come back soon.

The portions are really small, but there is still room for dessert! The burger is excellent, so are the sweet potatoes.

On a bitter and very cold December morning my twin brother and I decided to jump the train down from Kirkby to Liverpool City Centre to enjoy a day out in Liverpool City Centre to visit some of the great pubs and restaurants our city processes before starting a week's holiday in Berlin to visit the great Christmas markets in that fascinating German city ,one of the first places we visited was Byron ,been here before on several occasions, always had a good time and so it proved on our latest visit. A great looking restaurant, all the more so beautifully decked out for the Christmas period, lovely decor and furnishings and lots of seating options spread throughout this restaurant both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling Thomas Steers Way. We were greeted and seated by a really pleasant member of the Byron team ,we ordered beers from Brooklyn Brewery, these were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling, we perused the menu and in the end we both opted to have a chilli burger with fries ,service was excellent, burger meals arrived in no time at all and they where outstandingly good. Burger was big and juice, beautifully seasoned, topping was generous, chilli was the right amount of heat and not overpowering served between two fresh tasty buns and the fries were totally delicious, complimented the burger so well and coupled with our delicious beers made for a great dining experience in a wonderful restaurant. We totally enjoyed our meals and beers in here before we moved on, couldn't fault anything about our visit, great restaurant, superb meal and beers but best of all the service, staff here are so nice ,made our visit here so good ,can't wait to go again when we're back from Berlin later on in the month. Byron is easy to locate along Thomas Steers Way. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, open from midday. Well worth checking out if you're in the shopping area around Liverpool One.

Lovely girls waiting on cant fault the staff, disgusted with the food. Worst, burger and sticks that they call fries, I have ever had just disgraceful !!! No hot drinks. Never again.

The staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was nice, although it was quite busy, and the seating was a bit close to other tables. The burgers were really good, but I found them to be quite small—good thing my girlfriend didn’t finish hers, or I’d still be hungry! 😄 For the portion size of the burgers and fries, I feel the prices are a bit on the higher side. That said, the service was quick and excellent overall.

Burgers are ok but nothing special. But the cheek of adding a 'service charge'... What the heck is that all about? Are we America now?? I won't be going back purely because of the service charge. Greed is getting out of control now!! The waitress didn't even smile once and she wanted £7 for it!!! NOPE!!

I used to love Byron burger, the friendly atmosphere and the fantastic food, when it was at paradise street, now it has moved and gone downhill I'm afraid. They no longer ask you how you would like your burger cooked, medium or well done etc, if you love your burgers that tells you everything. The buns are hardly brioche buns, but borderline supermarket quality, the fries are a bowl of sorry looking,bottom of the fryer basket, quadruple cooked chips , more like thick crisps, and the cucumber they tried serving my daughter was well past it's best and was probably sat at the bottom of the container all day, it was translucent and nearly mouldy, she said it made her feel sick. Its a shame really because I used to love going here, but seems to have gone the way of.....how can we serve low quality food at the highest possible price, just like a lot of other places. But Bryon now rates in my mind as a posh fast food takeaway burger you'd get from mackies, but more than double the price. And with the constant passing of footfall from the docks to town, I doubt they'll ever find the need to change. Very poor,and we won't be going back

First time at Byron Liverpool and Byron full stop, really impressed. We booked ahead so we’re able to go straight in even though there was a queue at the door. Staff were very nice and attentive, food and drink arrived quickly after we’d ordered. Burgers juicy and very good size, fries great, dips tasty. The kids menu was really good also. 20% discount off adult main courses for NHS staff was nice also. Will definitely return!

Over £12.50 for a tiny burger plus £3.95 for a small pot of chips. Small slithers of pickle and tiny square of cheese this is far from the best burger around. Felt ripped off and left hungry. Disappointing. How does this chain survive?

Only had to wait ten minutes for a table at 5pm on a Saturday which is good.The burgers are lovely.Decent enough prices.The milkshakes are very tasty.As a party of three including one disabled the guy front of house was very welcoming.The kids menu is a bargain.We were in and out within an hour with full stomachs and empty plates.We will be returning.

Ordered for delivery and it hit the burger craving spot! Very fresh and decent portion sizes. It’s so hard finding a place that does decent vegan AND meat options, usually one of us is left unhappy. Both of us were left very satisfied trying Byron. The fries were very tasty and I love all the vegan dip options. Fantastic work! Whenever I want a burger I know where to go.

Clean and staff were ok. Order using the QR code, so no waiter per say taking orders etc, so the 10% service charge (per person/order) seemed a little off… as apart from bring the food over, they didn’t do anything. Didn’t come over to ask if everyones food was ok, more drinks etc. But the 2 stars is for the food( 1 star) and price point; very disappointing. Double burger, dirty fries and a coke for £26.20…. The burger wasn’t the best, had better; and far too much sauce, couldn’t taste the actual burger. The fries…. Not that I counted but I might have had under 30 fries in a small circular “basket”. The “dirty fries” upgrade for and extra £3.95 ( I think it that much) added 2 dips, some bacon dust and was supposed to come with some pulled meat (brisket or pork or something)…. I had no meat, bearly any of the dust, and bearly any fries; all for £7.45! A friend of mine had the same fries, with all the correct ingredients , still didn’t look worth £7.45. Won’t be coming back, gone really down hill over the years, and if you’d like a great burger with actual decent portions of fries, tastier burgers for a slightly less / similar price point, give Almost Famous a go.

My family and I always look forward to going to byron burger when we go to liverpool. But a lot has changed since we went last. £14 for just a burger £3.95 for fries and £4 for the slaw which you used to get as part of your meal that's over £22 for a burger and fries. The atmosphere was ruined by an influencer your staff were encouraging by giving them one of your deserts to promote every 2 minutes a massive light attached to the top of her phone was switched on which my sister and I were in lines sight and was like having someone shining a torch in their eyes. £119 for 4 burgers 2 fries and drinks and left feeling hungry and miffed I don't think we will be going again.

Menu is now accessed from a mobile phone and qr code. We placed the order , waited 30 mins with no one coming to see what was happening . We eventually spoke to a waitress who said the kitchen didn't have our order . Such a farce we left and went to the baltic triangle, had lovely food and great service .

Nos quedamos impresionados. Además de eso, la comida era excelente. Comimos hamburguesas con queso y patatas fritas, pasteles de queso Oreo y botella de vino. Disfrutamos mucho de todo sobre nuestra visita y sin duda volveremos allí. Gracias de nuevo, Dylan.

Went on 7/09/24 around half 8pm walked in lady showed us to the table then walked away we was left guessing on what to as in order food because we was waiting for a menu then realised we had to scan the QR code and order food ourselves but the lady didn’t exsplain she just walked away wasn’t the end of the world Food The food is overpriced burgers started from around £11 the food looked nothing like the picture on there website it was small and if you wanted anything to go with it like chips you had to pay separate When my burger and chips came with onion rings it’s wasn’t hot it was slightly warm and very greasy with very over cooked chips also had a milk shake Wich was tasteless and overpriced again not the end of the world because the manager got the food sorted Overall Byron’s burgers is very over priced for what it is all small burgers they need bigger portions better quality if your going to be charging them prices and better quality of side dishes

My first time visiting with my friends all 10 of us ,the staff were fantastic helpful and polite. The food was amazing.will certainly be coming back on my next visit.

Extremely overpriced - paid £13 for a small burger that came with no fries or any other sides that would normally come with something for that price. Ended up paying for fries separately for another £3.95 and had to wait, but overall not worth as much as you pay. Service and food was good

Such a shame because I have a ten with byron burger before and it was good. This time me and two friends ordered dinner and there were many things wrong with the order. One of the ordered a vegan cheeseburger, and a chicken burger arrived which they couldn’t eat. The two other burgers were also wrong, none had any salad on it, just the Pattie and buns and to top it off, the vegan tenders were Not vegan, both meat chicken tenders and no sticker on box to confirm it was veggie / vegan. Food was also freezing. We tried to call the two Byron burger phone numbers listed online, one disconnects after one ring, the other says the service is unavailable. Never ordering again.

Staff were friendly and attentive. Food was ok but pricey for what it was. Double bacon cheeseburger was ok but I felt the bacon and mustard were doing the heavy lifting in that. Actual patties were very average but the added salt from the bacon balanced the seasoning. Bbq wings just a little on the dry side. Kids menu: he was happy with the burger and milkshake. My wife had the shiraz which was nice. Even with a free burger deal it felt a little overpriced for what it was

Went to Byron for a family dinner while in Liverpool for a weekend away. Food is delicious and service is great. Very friendly and helpful staff. I would highly recommend😋.

Strange place for us ....staff were great and explained to us you scan the qr code on the table and this opens up the menu on your phone ....you then order and pay with your phone and the food is delivered to your table .....we had small mix up with drinks ...sorted in a flash with a smile and an apology.....food was delightful and fairly reasonable price....was clean and interesting place ....would recommend no problem.......

Great location to eat after the Beatles tour. Ordering was easy because you paid in advance using a QR code. Both the food and beer were delicious!

The food was fabulous. Because you order on line the staff don’t really have much to do with you other than drop down your food. Only complaint was that the air conditioning was sooo cold & cooled our food

It’s the last night that my boyfriend and i are down in liverpool, and we were looking for a good place to end the trip. Food was very good, the atmosphere was nice and calm when we were in, and the staff were very warm and well mannered! Id say it’s a pretty good value for money given the quality of food and speed of service.

My rating is soley for the service (or rather, lack of it), as we were left to our own devices after being shown to a table and told to use a QR code to order on our phones, confusing my elderly dad no end (he doesn't have a smart phone or know what QR codes are). We tried to get the attention of staff in order to ask a couple of questions about items on the menu, but weren't able to. The restaurant was very quiet, but the staff we saw weren't paying attention to the few customers inside. So I went to the counter area where the person who had pointed us to our table was, and they ignored me for the best part of a minute before finally looking up. Sadly, they weren't able to answer my very basic questions and didn't come over to the table to answer anyone else's. It was clear us being there was irritating and inconvenient to them, so we ended up leaving and going to another restaurant. I've been to other branches of Byron countless times and it's always been fine and staff have been friendly; I've never had staff be so distant and avoidant like this anywhere tbh. Reading some of the other reviews suggests this is unusual for this branch as well, which is even more odd; why were we treated with such disdain when other customers have had such great service? Not sure if it's that this QR code system now means that staff don't assist customers beyond pointing them to a table and bringing out their food, but I don't think I'll be visiting any other branches in the future though if this is the case. There are plenty of other very good options for burger restaurants nearby.
