Our server was lovely, sorry cant remember your name but you are doing your Law Masters, lovely girl, helpful and pleasant. Food was lovely and the wine was a good price. Nice atmosphere and no loud music which was fab. Highly recommend

Amazing service from start to finish, well looked after even though restaurant was very busy. Niamh was brilliant, helped us with my children and wife, sorted some hot water with no dramas for my 4month of baby, over experience very happy, oh and food was fantastic hanging kebabs for the win!!!!

Great food, attentive service and roomy enough gh in the indoor veranda section for meetings too. Can't fault the Botanist, first time visit g the Liverpool One location, but will be back.

Bailey and Lucy were excellent bartenders they were attentive and served me right away. The level of service was excellent and respectful.

Came here last week with my work friends as a late Christmas party, we thought the interior was lovely however the food is below bog standard, I ordered the chicken katsu curry in my opinion your better off going Wagamama’s !! Our experience was ruined after I’m assuming a waiter (young lad with a skin head) SLAMMED the food onto our table abruptly and completely blanked us when we asked for sauces. When my friend on the table specifically mentioned a severe allergy to sesame seeds the waiter didn’t have any idea of which meals were which and safe for her to eat and proceeded to place down an plate in front of her which did in fact include sesame seeds! incompetent, lazy, and attitude ridden staff and the overpriced RUBBISH on the plate has ensured I will never recommend or revisit this establishment again! note to management, the environment may look nice but the experience makes it unbearable. Give it a miss

The food and service were incredible. Staff were very good, the music wasn't too loud that you had to shout, and the overall atmosphere was brilliant. The Pineapple punch cocktail was especially amazing.

Been here before it was lovely last year same time. Waited ages for our drink to come had nearly finished first course. My Christmas kebab came very under cooked i sent back. Brought food but no cutlery. Then was cold on me serving, sent back again once I plated. Got up 3 times from the table to get service, even to pay! £10 service charge which i refused to pay. Such a shame on £100 bill.

We came in to celebrate my sister’s graduation, and while the food was okay, the service was not great. As someone who works front of house in a restaurant, I found the lack of basic service standards surprising. There was no check-back on our food to see if everything was okay, and we weren’t offered desserts, which felt like a missed opportunity to enhance our experience. For such a special occasion, we expected more attentiveness. Unfortunately, this put a damper on what should have been a celebratory evening.

We went for Sunday lunch on 8 December and the food was delicious. Highly recommend the pork roast dinner with stuffing and pigs in blankets. We were served by Marius who was absolutely amazing. Very polite and attentive, fantastic service from him.

I recently dined at The Botanist Liverpool One and had the pleasure of trying their hanging kebab. It was absolutely delicious! The meat was perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavour, complemented by a variety of tasty sides. The unique presentation added to the overall experience, making it a fun and memorable meal. The atmosphere was vibrant, and the staff were friendly and attentive. I highly recommend visiting for a delightful dining experience!

Food was ok expecting more for the price.. Place was freezing asked to put heating on but it never happened. Service was slow

My daughters took me for a surprise birthday lunch. Lovely food, good service and an extra surprise.....fizz and brownie..on the house. Such an enjoyable time. Will go again

From the selection of tapas starters to all of our main meals, the food was great. Wanted to give a special shout out to our server Bella. This was a busy Friday night but she was always aware of us and made sure that we were never waiting too long to order or wait for food.

We had a great experience at the botanist in Liverpool one. The food was good but the real pleasure was the staff. Marius was amazing, making the service very tailored to the customer with plenty of care and attention to detail. Staff make a business and Marius was a breath of fresh air. Great service! The botanist are lucky have him.

Slow service, told table ready, no cutlery no napkins, tasty food just about saved the experience but very over priced for what it is, discretionary service charge added for a table of 2 when dealing with long wait times between having to ask to place a food order and a 30 minute wait on food

Visited The Botanist for lunch on 26th October. We have been several times, and have always been very satisfied with the food. On this occasion, my meal was awful. You would think that it would be difficult to get sausage and mash wrong, but they managed it. The sausage were overcooked and rubbery, the peas were hard, and the gravy wasn’t very warm. Very disappointing.

Came her to thank the staff for such lovely service tonight. Came for my dad in laws 70th bday. The service was super friendly and helpful all the way through. There was a small mistake with the order but it was acknowledged and rectified in a really personable way. Mistakes happen but how it is dealt with is always the key for me and this was handled really nicely. Also the staff gave us an impromptu happy birthday song and embellishment on outer dessert. So nice they did that off their own back. It wa really appreciated. The food was really good and was happy to see some really decent vegan options on offer. Thanks for a lush evening!

Welcomed like a valued customer and given a menu. Served quite quickly and food arrived in good time. Very nice chicken kebab on the skewer with chips. Decent beer. Good service, good food, good atmosphere, good location. Reasonable price for what I received. Will return.

Absolutely fab! They went extra mile and wrote the message on table" Happy Birthday".The food was great too,we had Sea bass and Korean chicken(little bit spicy) and very nice cocktails.We will definitely come again in1 month time.Thanks to a blond waitress..

Arriving at 4.30pm we sat outside, no one came to take the order and we thought that there was probably no service inside. No problem, we enter the venue at 4.45pm. We are made to sit in an internal room. After 5 minutes a table sits next to us who will order after 10 minutes. Nobody considers us. After 20 minutes we ask to order but we only receive a "one second". We still wait but nothing. We call a new waiter who says that that room was only for those who wanted to eat. We, who only wanted to drink, got up and changed rooms. In the new room we wait another 10 minutes and then go to the counter and discover that we ordered from there. Unfortunately there was no communication with the staff, who were intent on drinking their cappuccinos/tea and talking to each other, instead of communicating with us who had clearly been waiting for a long time. Only the place is saved, really nice.

Starter was nice but as for the main (hanging kebabs) it was very bland. Basically just chicken and chips. Could have done with some salad and sauces or something with it. Not worth the money and very disappointing. Also asked for a Malibu and when the drink was brought to me was told they don't sell it and I have to have Bacardi. I don't like Bacardi so I would have preferred it if the staff member came to tell me first they don't sell Malibu and would I like anything else. Disappointing birthday meal, ended up coming home and ordering a takeaway as we was still hungry.

After a midday light show called into the Botanist for lunch. Saturday service so was busy. The staff found us a spot for two. I ordered a pint of Madris and my wife red wine. My beer was fresh and cold. I ordered the bangers and mash which was to be honest a cheaper option on the menu. Didn’t order for the price as I just fancied it. Wife ordered a club sandwich. My bangers and mash tasted great. Lightly minted peas which I wouldn’t eat at home added a nice touch. Gravy and mash tasty and the sausage tasted quality. Food was hot on service. The chicken on my wife’s club was pure breast and as thick as your arm. Salty fries and a bill with service charge £47. Fair price for what we ate and drank.

It is a nice place. We did not have a reservation so we were given limited seating options at the front even though they were mostly empty in the main dining room. The chicken was juicy. The pork belly was a bit tough.

Gorgeous location on a sunny day, wine is a little pricey, nice friendly staff.

Mason looked after our large group so well on Saturday especially when the heavens opened and he made sure each of us had a poncho so we could continue to sit out listening to the great live music. Will definitely be recommending to others and returning on our next trip

Came here for Pizza on the Terrace, Mason looked after us and couldn’t be more helpful! He must have run up and down the stairs a hundred times to fetch what we needed and also was able to recommend some great places to visit in Liverpool! He definitely went above and beyond to ensure we had a lovely meal! Thank you Mason we will definitely return 😊

We went for my wife's graduation. The food was really good, prices were reasonable. Lots of choice. It was very busy however but good restaurants generally are!

Went here for a drink after a few hours shopping. Lovely place but ordering a large glass of wine and a pint of lager, and being charged £21.50 is ridiculous. Wont be going back.

Great place this during the summer. Lots of outdoor seating and perfect place to chill for a drink or two when the sun is shining. Outdoor bar and I door bar with lots of seatin internally too. Expect to pay London prices for your drinks though which is a bit of a joke, having moved from London to Liverpool. The place is nice but it's not London price nice. ;-)

My daughter booked a table at the Botanist for my 60th birthday which I shared with my husband, my daughter and her boyfriend, my sister her daughter and her fiancé and her little boy. Fantastic enjoyed everything. Staff brilliant, food excellent couldn't falter anything. And to top it all of it was a beautiful sunny day.

Our first visit to this venue. Really good service and the food was nice. Didn't have to wait long for drinks or food even though it was quite busy. Bit of confusion with regards to what IPA was on draft as they don't do the one that was printed on the menu. Hopefully this will be rectified in time for my next visit. Would certainly recommend.

I regrettably booked a table for my nieces 6th Birthday. I noticed a massive change since the Restaurant changed hands. The service was substandard, we were left with our dinner plates on the table until we left. No one asked if we were okay or if we would like anymore drinks, and it was not busy at the time. When they brought my Nieces dessert to the table; I was asked if it was her birthday, that was it!! I am still yet to receive an email from Kevin the Restaurant Manager. I am disappointed how the complaint has been dealt with by Kevin. Furthermore, I won’t be dining there again, and certainly wouldn’t recommend it.

My first visit and I will return.. I would of g8ven 5 stars however it was a Saturday afternoon and only one lady serving whilst 3 team members stood at the end of the bar chatting so there was a wait to be served. Not impressed by that.

6th Apr 24. Very busy, popped in for one drink. If you're after food suggested you book a table in advance. Nice large outdoor seating area. We found a table inside by the bar and Ordered a drink at the bar. Staff are friendly, know there drinks and mix any cocktail straight away with no delay. Take both card and cash payments.

The Club House has been my favourite pub in the town centre for a while now. I have to come here when we visit the town centre as I found it relaxing, love the atmosphere. But…I used to like the decor but noticed before Christmas that the bar ceiling had been painted a very dark colour which didn’t appeal. When we came again recently the walls had been painted in the same colour. The place has now gone from a bright and happy looking place to a dark and gloomy miserable one. The pub hasn’t got much light coming in from the small windows behind the bar so the light decor of old helped brighten the place up. I’ll still visit but it looks terrible now.

Great open air shopping experience. Only knocked a star off because parking is expensive.

We had a lovely meal here with cocktails. Waiter was very polite and it was nice and warm. Situated at the top of Liverpool One, there was plenty of outside sitting space which would be great in summer. The menu had a good selection of items. We would definitely go back there again.

Have been here many times. Food is always delicious - the Haninging Kebabs legendary! Very pleasant surroundings and attentive staff. Unfortunately there was an issue with the coffee machine on this visit, but the 4 of our party who ordered hot drinks had their drinks immediately refunded. Definitely a favourite place to visit😀

It's a very aesthetically pleasing restaurant. Very clean and staff friendly. The food was good but the shared hanging kebab dish we had was not hot in temperature, merely warm. It also had 3 kebabs to it, to share between 2 which was odd, as the hanging kebabs per person seemed to have 2 kebabs and a load of chips. There weren't many chips and there was one pitta between 2, which was ridiculous. Mr J3 had to ask 3 times for his drink to be brought to the table and I'd given up on my final drink arriving, although it appeared when we'd finished eating. It was also a bit cold where we were seated, as the main door did not seem to fully shut and as people were coming in and out a cold draught was circulating. I hate sitting down for a meal and having to put my coat back on. I just don't expect that when I go out for a meal.

Worst restaurant I have ever been to. Looked promising initially. Took 20 minutes for someone for come and take a drinks order and we Ordered food at the same time. We waited 40 mins for the food so I politely asked a passing lady to chase it up for us. She was very rude, looked at me like I was mad and stomped off….. next minute the food arrived but we still had No drinks….. asked another lady who went to check, ten minutes later came back “what did you order again”? Waited longer for drinks. My daughter asked for mayo and ketchup which we didn’t get. It’s a shame as my food (bang bang noodle salad) and my daughters (chicken burger) was very nice, so thank you to the chef, but the service was utterly non existent. Really do need to get this sorted.

Called for a drink stayed for two. Staff were very welcoming. Lovely place to recharge.
