Fridays - Birmingham NEC in Solihull

It was our first time having a bottomless brunch at a TGI Fridays and we had the best time. Alison was so lovely and attentive, she made some great recommendations. We’d happily come back again.

Amazing experience made all the more better by Mia !! What a star ⭐️ fabulous asset to the TGI team honestly amazing talent

Alison was an absolute Angel. She has immaculate service and constantly checked up on us and made sure our drinks were topped up. I’ve been to Fridays before but never quite had service like it.

Jack was a lovely and friendly server. Very quick with orders and a delight to be around. Would come again and was knowledgeable about the food. Very polite and helpful

The food here was amazing specially there glazed chicken strips and our waitress Alison was very lovely and very caring to our needs

Great place with fantastic coattails and wonderful food. Jack served us perfectly getting us everything we needed quickly and being attentive to our table. He even helped me with cocktails choices when I couldn’t decide recommending the best for me when I asked. Don’t have a single fault to the service, food and drinks. Couldn’t recommend enough.

Amazing place with such great service! I was recommended the bubble tea mock tail and it was soooooo good. It needs to stay for good! Really lovely atmosphere and views. Food was really nice and fresh!

Service, food a drinks fine, seemed rather cold in the restaurant. My only criticism would be the food portions were rather stingy tbh, drink & food menu seems very limited compared how it used to be!! Would me and my girlfriend return …. Hmmm prob not tbh 😒…

I had booked a table for 7 people at 6.30 to celebrate my daughters 20 birthday we arrived eventually some came to take our drinks order the place at the time was quite empty it was very hot even with doors open we asked if we could be moved to a long table as we felt very squashed and hot cramped in a booth The answer was no they had bookings later. We ordered our food waited 45 minutes before it came to be told the sesame chicken did not have any seasame seeds as they ran out 2 weeks ago the chicken was dry and hard no flavour we had to ask for the chips as they had forgotten two people in the party ordered 8 oz streaks med rare these arrived very well done no steak knives and we had trouble eating them the whole experience was a big disappointment service very slow not taking care of customers and the food awful needs to do better and inform customer if there is thing missing on the menu when you order not as it arrives Waste of 147.00 We certainly won’t be returning

Nice restaurant, good food, but the portions are smaller than expected. They did mix up 1 of our orders, but that was rectified at no extra charge.

I had an amazing time the TGI Fridays. I really appreciate how kind and hard working our server Sophie was and would happily recommend this restaurant to others.

We were seen to very promptly on a busy Sunday lunchtime. Our server David was very quick to take our order and was always smiling. He was helpful and understanding of our son with special needs.

The best TGI visit ever at Resorts World Birmingham.. frequently attend TGIs with business lunch meetings and todays was the best experience.. had a server called Mia and honestly would have recruited her on the spot if I could have ! we booked a table for 8.15 a week in advance turned up 10 mins early we got seated it took 15 mins for our drinks and food orders to be taken we where informed that they had no ice of drinks etc we then sat for a hour and half with no food in sight it’s now nearly 9.50 pm we had our drinks and eventually walked out at 10.pm s never return absolute horrendous service no staff no food and they could not care less

I've been visiting TGI's for many years, mainly at the Hagley Road. Had to wait for a table even the place wasn't that busy. Been a while since I've been to one. We ordered hot wings £3 a wing! So we went for the sharing, still £2.67 each and they came glazed not with Frank's. Not good, fatty and greasy and it came with...one celery stick. Not the way they used to be. We then had the Frank's red hot grilled chicken, fatty and cold with a piece of 'rubber' cheese, nearly £20 each. Two diet Cokes, 55 quid. There's no point saying it wasn't good because it's like...what am I supposed to do? Won't be visiting TGI's again soon, glad I didn't pay nearly £30 for a steak... I visited my local Sizzler today and had a Clukin' Hot Stack - less than £10 and put TGI's to shame.

As usually, food is nice but portion size rather underwhelming for the price, long waiting time too. The service was great though, staff makes up for the chain shortfalls, our server Maddy helped make the experience a lot nicer so star up for that!
