Miller & Carter Resorts World in Solihull

We arrived at the door, it didn’t open. Staff inside saw us but didn’t acknowledge us. We realised there was another door around the corner and entered through there. We stood for 5 minutes before anyone acknowledged us and they said someone will be with you shortly. Over the next 15 minutes, four further staff members said someone will be with you shortly. We were then advised to wait in the bar area, tables were filthy, sticky, horrible. Eventually we were shown to our table where it came to light we hadn’t been given the Sunday menu, Eventually we were handed the correct menu and ordered. Our waiter was excellent, kept us informed that our food was delayed and did give us a free drink. Food arrived, definitely worth waiting for, it was delicious and the view from our table was lovely but the whole experience was marred by the start of the evening.

Having visited the Tattoo was a great way to finish the night .Good quality food attentive staff , thanks to Bella our waitress made a good evening great.

Lunch for 2. No complaints on food as always. Enjoyed our time and thankful of the customer service from Donna. Very polite and happy to help. Thankyou very much!

We had a lovely family meal, the food was fantastic, wonderful service and a great atmosphere, thank you Magda and team.

Booked last minute for this evening and managed to get a table. Had a lovely meal. All the food was piping hot. Our waitress was Magda and she was amazing. Very attentive and cheerful, just what we needed after quite a sad day.

Had such a lovely dining experience, the atmosphere was great. Tom our sever was really helpful and made sure we had everything we needed.

Thomas was a great waiter , looked after us great, constantly checked if we was happy with our visit. Also advised me on what to have which was great! Will definetly be coming back soon

Being a regular customer i have noticed it could do with a bit of a makeover as it is looking tired. Apart from that we do enjoy here apart from when our family spent Boxing day but that's now been addressed.

Had a lovely lunch today and was served by Donna who was so kind and absolutely fabulous with us. Food was beautiful can’t complain at all.

I arrived with friends to a very friendly welcome. My bbq ribs were very dry. Staff were informed and immediately brought me some bbq sauce which helped, however, not worth the price.

Donna was amazing as always! and saw to our every need!! 100% as always, the food was excellent and the cod wow.

Cocktails were lovely as always & waitress was polite and friendly. Food was nice (although a couple of steaks were overcooked). However, when prebooking a table for 10 at 15:45, having a call that morning to confirm + a text also. You don’t expect to wait 2 hours for your main courses and to be told “well we are busy today” - it’s a restaurant in a shopping complex next to an arena - it’s going to be “busy” almost every day of the year, they should be used to catering to full capacity! Disgraceful to have a £40 service charge added to the bill considering the poor service!

Waiting time was far too long. Over an hour and we had only just finished starters. Server wasn't told we'd been seated. Waited ages for drinks. Server was great, she seemed to be doing everyone's jobs.

First of all, I want to thank Donna. She was our waitress. Not only was she super polite and friendly, she genuinely made every effort to capture my wife's dietary restrictions, and liaised with the chef about the sauces etc. Secondly, though, my wife's medium rump steak was quite chewy and hard to cut. She didn't complain and it didn't detract from our evening, but that was a shame. Maybe, we should have said something to Donna about it. But otherwise, many thanks for contributing to a nice night out.

Tom was great and the food was even better!

The food was delicious and our server was absolutely lovely, very attentive. The cocktails have definitely gotten better over time however a larger variety would be fantastic. Our only minus was that there were children standing on booth seats, dashing around into our dining area and shouting alot.

Over all amazing!! Our second time coming came here on our first date, and I must say it felt magical a being back again, but Donna our waitress was so attentive and very friendly and welcoming, overall a lovely experience and can’t wait to come back!!

Really enjoyed our night here. Food was excellent and came out very quick but not too quick! Service was excellent wonderful from Donna. Very friendly and was always there to help us when needed. She was very welcoming from the start. Would 100% attend again.

Really good food, pricing isn’t too bad. Service wasn’t as friendly as you would expect but overall I would recommend the place.

For all you expect it was only, Okay. Party of 9 for a birthday, service was average from start to finish. Nothing stood out of good or great service it was all just done to forful a duty. Lacked a smile and any personal touches apart from a desert which said happy birthday and a candle on their desert. We found the food to be mixed quality. The stake was cold and over cooled which had to go back, the new one was much better. Starters sat in the pass for at least 5 minutes before they were all brought over so soups were warm only. Some of a mains had items missing from the listed discription or replaced with something else. The whole placed lacked any atmosphere at all, just people sat eating quietly. Not somewhere I'd rush to go back to for the cost.

Donna was a wonderful, friendly and helpful server. She constantly has a smile on her face and treated us with respect and kindness through my whole experience. 5 star service xx

Great dinner was had. Just a small group of us out for our Christmas meal and a cocktail. Gorgeous.

Amy the server in M&C resort world Birmingham was great. Very attentive and was clear on how the menu worked. The food was also fantastic. Perfectly cooked and great sides.

Met with 6 friends for our annual festive lunch, this is our 5th year at the Resort World Happened to be on a Wednesday in December In this instance everything was near perfect hence a 5 star rating, but has been 3 and 4 star's in the past.

Our Donna was a star, very attentive and friendly

Magda was amazing she knew everyone’s orders when they came to the table. She is an absolute pleasure. She served us all night made sure we were happy with the food and had a good night. She’s really lovely. The food was also really lovely steak was cooked perfectly and came out really hot.

Great place for a good piece of steak and a bottle of wine. Staff are friendly too. Nice place for any steak lover :) Our waitress Donna really made our visit an enjoyable one. Great service and hospitality. Thank you so much for getting us the drink recipe that we enjoyed so much :)

Late being sat despite what looked like a half empty restaurant. Chap was stressed and didn't really care. Food was substandard and some things were cold. Only thing that saved this was the great service staff
