Fiesta del Asado in Solihull

I had my baby shower here as it’s one of my favourite restaurants. I have to say the service was outstanding. Nothing was too much bother and the staff are always friendly. Mario the manager made my baby shower joyful and made sure we had everything we needed for a great experience. I always look forward to visiting as the atmosphere is calm whether you’re popping in for a few drinks or food. I’ll be back soon

After a long time, I decided to give this restaurant another chance and it definitely wasn't a good idea. I ordered my non-alcoholic cocktail without ice and when it arrived it looked like I had ordered it with extra ice. My steak was like a rubber and there wasn't even a steak knife on the table, I had to ask for it. My daughter's dish was from the children's menu and it didn't even seem like it, it was very spicy. Furthermore, the atmosphere was very noisy. Very loud music and the noise of many people talking at the same time. It was even difficult to order. Faced with this whole situation, I came across a completely unprepared staff who didn't know how to solve this sequence of problems. An unpleasant experience that ended up being very expensive!

We come to the Solihull branch often and Harj has always been our waitress. She is so attentive and always checking whether we need anything. She always has a big smile on her face and such a bubble personality which makes the experience that much better. She is a real credit to the restaurant and keeps us coming back!

Been a few times before. Bar staff are really attentive and cocktails are amazing. We had a meal. Service again excellent. Food was amazing too. Lovely ambience and classy place. Thank you..will defintely go again.

The food is OK, the staff is kind, food came in time but for dessert we had to wait 1h. It was becoming ridiculous. The prices are little bit higher than expected.

It was our first time at the restaurant and the steak was so nice and juicy and filled with flavour. Mario’s service was exceptional. He even volunteered to take pictures of us and was always available regardless of us needing anything. Would highly recommend.

Went as a group of 16 on a golf weekend. They had a really good app which allowed everyone to pre order individually before the night. Service was great, lovely place, amazing steaks. Only issue was that all the sauces ordered hadn’t been charged on the app so the bill came to £40 more than I had told the group - restaurant very kindly cancelled the charge so group cost was the same. Great choice for a Saturday night group meal.

Great restaurant, decorated very authentic. Service was excellent, professional informative and very pleasant. Signing up for their card is very beneficial as you are able to get discounts and save up points to get money off your next visit. Fully recommend.

Our group of 5 ate here last weekend. The service was great from all of the staff, attention to detail, patience and kindness were demonstrated. We waited a reasonable amount of time for food, it was good because we didn't feel rushed. The place was busy and had a good atmosphere. Food arrived, it was tasty and sufficient. My son said it was the best tomahawk steak he'd had to date. Bit of a shock when the bill arrived, there is a service charge, to be fair, we hadn't skimped on what we had. We very much enjoyed our experience.

Have dined in Fiesta many times & the food & service is always amazing. Popped in yesterday afternoon for a couple or more cocktails! Kyle served us, what a star he is. It was our wedding anniversary & he kindly gave us a complimentary glass of fizz along with our margaritas. Suffice to say we stayed longer than intended & had a lovely afternoon. The old fashioned was the best I've ever tasted. Kyle, you are a credit to the company, we look forward to returning again soon!

This place has definitely set a high standard for food/steak. Every aspect of the menu tasted exceptional. Credit to the chef. The staff were amazing and looked after us well from the moment we arrived. Will definitely be returning.

Me and my wife had an amazing amazing dinner at fiesta, Harg served us and was fantastic.

We came on Saturday for bottomless brunch. Mario was amazing, he was so attentive and gave great customer service. The food was delicious and the drinks were lovely. Overall I recommend this experience. The cocktails were proper alcohol and my mom got 2 bottles of Prosecco during our bottomless brunch. So deffo worth the money!!!

Ordered a fillet steak. Appalling. Like a lump of leather. I do t blame the chef, he cooks with ingredients he’s given but if you’re marketing yourself as a “steak restaurant” and the softest cut of beef is the fillet to be served a lump of leather is not acceptable. Won’t be eating there again.

The drinks are fantastic, you may wait a while but cocktails always take time to make. The food is okay, but over salted. Changed my review to 1 star, as we went back and they gave us food poisoning. Emailed them and there was no response what so ever.

Fantastic cocktails. The spicy marg will make your eyes water, not for the mild spice people! This was our second visit and the food was perfect again. For the price point, I think the food is excellent. Steaks were cooked perfectly. Service was friendly but professional. Live music was a nice touch! Shame on a Saturday night it's not full, I hope the restaurant stays open because we will absolutely be back 👏👌 Didn't take pictures of the food because I was too excited to eat it 😅

We went a little early so there were only a few people in the restaurant. The food was full of flavour and the portion sizes were very good. The staff are amazing, polite and very knowledgeable of their full menu. We had a great evening and an all round great experience. I would definitely recommend to anyone and I will be returning very soon.

The service was very professional even if there is extra charge for it. The atmosphere and the music were good. The food price was a bit excessive for what it was really.

This being our third time here we were very disappointed we found the food covered with oil and all we could taste was garlic!!! My husband always has tomahawk steak but this time was barely any meat at all.I nit sure if the kitchen staff javw changed but we was very disappointed and won't be going back anytime soon.

We dined here last night for my birthday. 6 out of 7 meals turned up at the same time but my wife was told they had accidentally given her Fillet steak to another table. We had to eat without her as our meals were nearly cold (waiting). As we were nearly done her meal had turned up. We were charged the full amount (nearly £400) for this experience so I won't be heading back here anytime soon. Terrible service.

Went here for a catch up with my friend and the food was amazing! Drinks were just as good. We had a lovely waiter Jamie, he really looked after us, kept the drinks coming with some cracking jokes. 10/10, would recommend.

This time the food was too greasy/oily. Everything covered in potatoes... Bread was really nice, with potato on top, but then to find more of the same on the plate and the mash version also covered in the same. , it got a bit much. Steak was pretty amazing. Fish would have been great if it wasn't so oily. Chicken also was ok, but again to much oil everywhere. Shame. As I've been here several times and perhaps a chef change has changed the way certain foods are prepared. As far as steak is concerned this is still pretty good. Great atmosphere. Great service and awesome food. Music, drinks and food all spot on. They do some of the lost delicious steaks. Even the chicken is excellent. Advise to book as always busy.

Great steak as always at the Fiesta del Asado. Rib-eye better medium-rare, rather than the recommended medium. Excellent with the chimichurri.

Visited Fiesta last week and it was great - the steak was perfectly cooked and our waiter (Jamie) was super friendly and helpful. Would definitely go again!

Harj service was 5* nothing was to much foe her she was Positive friendly. Food was amazing 🤩 The chef was a little rude and not wanting to give a few more tomatoes lol 😂 after spending £230 on steak for 2 people. Harj ensure we got the tomatoes as requested 😝 thank you Harj

Arrived without booking, it was very busy, but we managed to get a table for 2. The temperature had dropped yesterday so it wasn't very warm and cosy inside. We had chicken milanese and fries, £16.95 this was delicious, the breadcrumbs were fresh and the temperature was hot, really good. The fries were lovely too, although a small portion. We had a side of broccoli and asked for it be cooked in oil instead of butter, this was a big disappointment, it was £5.95 and arrived in a pool of water, soggy with approximately 2 cloves of garlic cut up on it, the garlic overpowered any other tastes. it didn't need any garlic or water, quick roasting with salt for a crisp touch would have been great. The decor is beautiful, music is lovely, you get the feeling of being abroad and feeling relaxed. Bill arrived with an added service charge of £7.00 which we paid as it was lovely, but we were asked again on the card machine if we wanted to tip? With options of how much. The cynic in me felt that people who hadn't read the bill correctly would tip twice, as it didn't state that this was optional on the bill. In all, food was amazing, decor, music and cocktails were great. We'll definitely be back.

Food was good, drinks were good but vould do with an extra pair of hands behind bar, cocktails take a long time compared to pulling a pint. Harj our waitress was pleasant but covered a large area of tables. Main down fall was having a round table located very near toilets.... would have preferred a nicer table location.

I met up with all my family on 07/04/24 We haven’t seen each other for a while so we’re excited to see one another. As I had eaten here before about 2 years ago. I suggest it, however to say it was disappointing is an understatement. The food was disgusting 🤢. My daughter got sick. I had to send my food back to the kitchen as it was not cooked. My son’s steak was not cooked as asked. The roast potatoes were like rocks, the carrots were like hard sticks. The chicken was raw and full of jelly. Really put a right downer. The whole experience was awful. I will never eat here again.

Would I go back? Unlikely. In two minds about this place. Mains, particularly steak, were very good; puds also good; drinks reasonably priced; starters were not great and were poor value in my opinion. Service was attentive. It's quite a noisy atmosphere and there was live music, the volume of which was just too high to enable comfortable conversation at the table. So, a mixed bag...will order differently if we do go back and skip starters.

My gf had been victim of verbal abuses by a table of 3 men tonight, in front of the staff who didn’t react unfortunately. I had to take care of it. Disgraceful.

Impossible to make contact after finding I had not been credited my deposit. First I phoned there head office as the restaurant was closed they said they would get someone to call back, still waiting a day later. Next tried internet found nowhere to make contact. Then I phoned twice through resevations, both times no reply message said they would phone back, still waiting.

Food OK. We were not given our £20 deposit back. Have tried to contact them many times in many ways. Even spoke to their head office. The only deposit is the toilet flushing because of upset tums.
