Didnt have any food but Tendy was steady pressing about IDs. Very thorough joint. Feller covered his bases twice and once more just for S&Gs.

New year's buffet was a joke. Dirty. Unprofessional, literally was like I was a pot luck. And they charge auto gratuity for bad service?? Not right. Also another charge for using a CC? That's the businesses expense.

90 for food that was so undercooked and had an awful taste to it..very disappointin. I absolutely don’t mind paying that price if the food is worth it but I took one bite and it was just BAD. No one seemed to care about fixing the issue. I am not one to write reviews but I just would like people to be aware.

Ordered the spotted cow burger 14 Dollars, comes with joe chips. Paid extra for Frie's and literally got a handful. Decent tasting Burger but definitely trying to save that frie cash. Might come back depending on how hungry one might be. When my food came out the guy bringing us the food says to me, I had a bigger portion for you but the manager made me pull some off! Super pathetic and I already paid extra for them. The manager looked like he didn't need those extra fries. I just want what I pay for. Another funny thing, they charge you a 1.50 credit card fee before you even pay, so I purposely paid cash just to have them remove it. Seems a little shady. ( GUYS TRY TO DO BETTER)

While the ambiance could be better (too bright) the food and drinks were very good. I had the salmon bowl while the rest of our table had burgers. I wasn't keen on the mustard sauce on mine but everyone else loved their food.

Lunch. Pizza crust was "Hard"! Burgers were good. Chips were so so. Drinks, cheaper booze. I've had better there! Not sure what the problem is. Spent over $250 and wish we would have gone different that day!

We especially enjoy the Packer radio show. Food is very good with reasonable prices. Waitress staff is friendly and efficient, well run B & G! Update January 24. The food is the best part of this B & G. Prices have gone up a bit, and they are adding a high 4.5% credit card fee. We had the bbq pulled pork flatbread which was loaded and excellent. Servers have always been very friendly. Happy hour before 6 pm.

Had a build your own burger with cheddar cheese, bacon,mayo,fried onions,pickles, cooked to medium. Burger was cooked correctly. Was hoping for a hand pattied burger but no luck there. The blueberry cheesecake was excellent.

First time there for the New year day buffet and was disappointed. Let our server know that 1 person was going to order from the menu and she said to let her know when they were ready, closed menus and she never came, we had to track her down to order. Waited on refills, silverware, menus left crowding table. The bar was busy and I noticed some maybe friends or family in the dinning room (our half was totally empty)that the staff spent a lot of time with. Kids behind the bar. It seemed like I was imposing on a family event rather than at a public restaurant. Fruit on the buffet was not iced, so I didn't risk having any. No places to set the spoons outside of the hot serving pans so the handles were dropping in the food, no signs or lables on any item, salmon was not covered. Like I said. It gave more pot luck vibes than $20 buffet. Right before giving me the check the server let me know that 20% gratuity was already added because of the buffet. That wasn't listed in any ads or signage so I was kind of surprised especially after everything I seen that they expected 20% i was thinking more around 15%. That's when I noticed there's another charge for 4.5% if I choose to pay with a card. So that's 24.5% they are expecting on top of the overpriced buffet. I also didn't see steak and egg sandwiches they advertised, I could have over looked them. In the end I did bring it up the gratuity thing and they did allow me change the tip to what I wanted but she was clearly not happy that i said something. The food tasted great but due to service and the nearly 25% extra 'demanded' charges I won't be back. If you want 20% then earn it, especially at a self serve buffet imagine china king telling u they added 25%.... and china king has more options for less money.

I always enjoy my experience at Fat Joe's. I order the chicken cordon bleu and sweet potato fries. The sandwich is huge and the fries are amazing! Staff are always prompt and responsive.

Had to eat here when in town. I went a little after the lunch rush on a Saturday and was seated promptly. My waitress was there with the menu and grabbed a beer list as it was my first visit. I went with the Fat Joe's Amber Lager. I did not ask where it was brewed and it was decent but not exceptional. For food I went with Build Your Own Burger as none of the specialties appealed to me. I went with beef cooked medium, American cheese, bacon, and egg cooked over medium. I stuck with the chips for a side though in hindsight I should have gone with fries. Nothing wrong with the chips but nothing special. Everything came as requested and my only gripe was I had to ask for another beer as the waitress didn't follow up while I was eating. Being unfamiliar with downtown FDL I ended up being parked about 3 blocks away though that was probably good after eating all that.

One of the best burger I have ever have

The food tastes get but is so over priced and with the amount of grease that comes with the food it's just not worth it. Upon entering the place we had to literally track down someone to get us seated, and had to do the same when trying to pay our bill. Though they do have great taste in music, it is very loud and honestly made the whole experience very overwhelming and overstimulating. In the end this dinner date costed my fiance and I $64 for two burgers, some fries and two drinks. Definitely do not recommend.

Fat Joe's is always a great choice for a burger! Their Queso Burger is the bomb. Texas toast, queso, pepper jack cheese. Great combo!

What happened to this place … 6.50 for a tap beer pretzels had no salt or butter… beer cheese “dip” was like soup this with a gross skin on top. I won’t be back sad that they are letting to place go .

The food is great. Depending on the staff and their friends, determines on your what time at the bar. We go there often and there is no consistency in hospitality.

I really enjoyed my dinner here. I absolutely loved my sweet and salty burger. Everything about it is perfect. Before then I can't say I've ever had caramelized apple slices on a burger but it really was fantastic. There's a large bar in the center of the place with a decent sized restaurant portion adjacent. There were plenty of TV's with whatever sport is happening on. Staff was great and the place was clean. One very small downside is the paid parking lot just around the corner but it wasn't hard to find a spot in the afternoon. Though I could imagine it filling up during peak hours with all the other restaurants right next to it.

Hostess was super rude. 5 empty tables around the bar but told us we need to sit in an area away from the bar. A total profile….stay away there are far too many good places to waste your time here

Discrimination shouldn't be tolerated at any business. I hope the settlement from the ensuing lawsuit goes well for the poor girl. She deserves every penny tbh.

First time stopping was after a Packers game on our way home. Lots of TVs!! Roomy place! Poblano tacos were good! The steak was tasty, and extremely tender…. Not what you’d think you’d get from a steak at a sports bar…. The build your own tater skins were also good! The side of grilled asparagus was tender and salted perfectly. Service was fast, friendly, and made you feel like you were part of the regular crew! Big Fan! Will definitely stop by again on our way through!! Also saw a sign for great drink specials during all Badgers and packers football games. Other sports bars should take a page out of fat Joe’s business plan. Good work!

Can’t rate this place enough. Probably the best burger I’ve had and cooked to perfection. Plenty of sides choices and the milk shake was to die for. When you’ve had a Fat Joes burger you won’t want one from anywhere else.

Had a nice dinner with friends on the rooftop patio. Service was great. Waitress had a feeling my drink may have been a little flat and came to ask me and apologize without me saying anything!

Sat down and bartender ignored me for 10 min playing some dice game with a gentleman and carrying on a conversation with him. I was about to walk out. I am from out of town and thought it sounded like a good place to eat. Next time I'm in town I will not go back.

Very busy as there was a wine event going on in town. Met a friend there who is new to town and had a nice reunion. Drinks were cold and the food was good. Had the salmon salad and wasn't disappointed.

My first visit. Had a wrap which was dry and no flavor. Took half home so I could add the needed spices. My husband ordered a sharable in-bone wings. His plate consistent of all Drummies. Four pieces (how is that sharable)? The prices are outrageous for the amount of food. I don't mind paying the price if the meal is worth it. Our friends burger was kid size. For that price I shouldn't have to leave hungry. Will not come here again. Or recommend to anyone.

Went in for a shot and a spotted. The cos was 9usd I payed with a hundo and got back...89usd. now I'm not good with mathing but this just doesn't seem right.

Attempted to order delivery around 8pm. She pretended to be the manager. I was willing to spend about $60. She just wanted to go home. I've heard the food is a 5out of 10 but after that I'm saying -50 out of ten and that's being too nice

I didn't try any of the brews so I can't comment on that, but the food here is delicious! Especially the sweet potato fries, those were the best! The service was friendly, they did a great job catering to the children in our group.

Came at noon on a Wed, there were 3 tables and one person at the bar. It took 15 minutes to acknowledge us after seating, 25 minutes to take our drink order, 30 minutes to get our food. Ended up having the wrong drinks, and our food was cold. Worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant given that it was far from busy.

The Ham and Swiss Pretzel Sandwich was amazing.

Ordered some appetizers and sizzling entrees. Food was all well seasoned and service was good our waitress checked on us several times.

It was a busy place because of the Sturgeon Spearing downtown celebration. We waited 15 minutes for a table and then another 15 minutes before we were ever talked to. Our waitress was not focused on us, she instead was interested in sitting at another table and talking. We had ordered appetizers, a side salad and soup and sandwiches without bread. 20 minutes later, our whole order came out at the same time, and the sandwiches came out in bread/buns. The side salad came out as a big main entree. The manager canned and took our sandwiches back and brought us out the corrected meals. Our beverages never got refilled until we were ready to leave. Our waitress apologized for the scree ups and offered us a discount, but never gave us one. The food however, tasted great, and was hot and fresh. It will be quite a while before we go back.

This pulled pork sandwich was delicious. I really like the way the bun they used with this. I also love that I got to choose a healthy side. They also have a BOGO Mon-Fri 2-6 for drinks. That was a really great deal. And, the caramel apple cheesecake was something new but very good!

The food was amazing. The Coleslaw that I had as a second sode is some of the best I have ever had. I had just a Cheeseburger but I recommend there horse bun. There burger was juicy and very flavorful. I would highly recommend.

Fun atmosphere, large sports bar, tons of Tvs. 1st time here for fish fry, panko breaded perch FANTASTIC. Owner Tad personally came to ours and others tables to talk. Family friendly, lots of options on menu and the specialty drinks were delicious! Great service, we will be back.

The service was good. QUICK! The food was okay. For a place that puts burgers in their tagline. The burger I had didn't wow me. It was kind of sloppy, bun was soggy, and not any popping flavors - other than the bacon. Maybe try a different one next time. The place looks renovated, and the bar is huge. I would recommend.

It's a very nice place inside the waiter took forever to come around all the people I was with no one was really very crazy over their food the burgers were average little too well done and for the size of the portions I thought it was a little overpriced

I like this place a lot! Numerous things on the menu I want to try. Service was quick and food was tasty. We came back a week later and enjoyed our meals again. Food arrived quickly. I had the Fiery Asian and it was good and spicy, made my forehead break out in a sweat!

The food was a disappointment to say the least. Meat loaf bites were not appetizing, flat bread pizza had cheese that wasn't even melted. Service was initially attentive but our waitress was also the bartender so we ended up going to the bar to get our checks and pay the bill. We know that everyone is trying to do the best they can with limited staff but we left with not a positive experience.

Convenient location that is very accommodating for group size. Staff are always attentive and they work as a team to take care of customer.
