The Green Dragon in Wycombe

A typical local pub in the back streets and serving a range of typical pub foods. The appearance inside and outside is not prepossessing, but the attraction of the pub is well cooked and good value food. We had the sea bass. Two well cooked, thick fillets and masses of sautéed vegetables, accompanied by a large dish of thick cut, well cooked chips Worth a visit for the food

I went to the Green Dragon having read the reviews. The locals were great, very friendly and welcoming. But the food and service was terrible, nothing like what I read in the reviews. There was only one young lady serving at the bar, and it took forever to get a drink, and it wasn't even overly busy. I ordered a paninni which was average at best. I wasn't offered any cutlery or even a napkin, I had to ask for them. I would only go there again because of the locals being so friendly and welcoming and to watch the football, but food - never.

My wife and I had the items on their new Italian menu and it was very good.

A chill place to visit when you need a quite, human time. Sweet ladies behind the bar. They do an excellent all-day breakfast. Go enjoy will a drink of coffee.

Stopped here on a hot Sunday afternoon, staff were friendly and had a cheese ploughmans and it was delicious.

A friendly pub in Flackwell Heath, High Wycombe. It has a good selection of beverages ant soft drinks on offer.

The staff are friendly, pub is clean and tidy with nice are outside with canopy. Good selection of home cooked food which is very nice. Wide selection of drinks. Only bad thing is has a pool table !!!

Beer moretti and plenty of TVs too. Wasn't to busy for a Saturday afternoon. Food was being served too.

A proper pub. Enjoyed a nice lunch time drink here and had a nice chin wag with the friendly landlady. There is nice comfortable seating and a pool table. Call in and support our pubs.

What can I say about this lovely pub the Green Dragon in Flackwell Heath Trish has just moved in from another restaurant kitchen manager s and the food is absolutely lovely good atmosphere clean tidy portions are mature prices are fair and Trish is a wonderful chef and cook and hospitality is second to none keep up the good work and let's hope I can get a seat next Sunday and it's not too busy

At the time there were barely any beers on tap, no darts for the dart board.

A very homelike pub with lovely staff and nice beers.

Allows small kids to run around playing when pub isn't busy. Badly in need of resealing the windows on the inside. Friendly staff and reasonable choice of beers, cider & great crisps though. Not eaten a meal there but the family with kids enjoyed their lunch.

Slightly disappointed..great staffing very helpful and welcoming.....food slightly over cooked on the roast side but that might be because we had booked a Late lunch..but fridays food was excellent...needs a little update regards decor... we need this public house.. this i believe has just had a changeover ...fingers crossed this team can make it work . I will certainly use this public house again. Good luck to the team.

Spacious local. Had sunday lunch here. Food very good quality and good value. Try the carvery! Young staff were polite and attentive. All round good experience.

I love this pub and I'm very lucky to live nearby. The staff are great and always efficient. If you like steak & pudding, you'll love it.

Segunda visita no era tan buena- era de arranque en frío y una mesa que nos dieron era empujado en una esquina y hasta una pared con poco espacio para moverse. No luz en la mesa de té era iluminado y el lugar era oscuro y lúgubre. (nuestra primera visita fue genial.) Carne era bueno de nuevo, pero las otras cosas nos han puesto que de nuevo me temo. Lástima

Seems to keep changing hands - was a sort of pub/ Indian, now seems to be different. Good to go and play pool - but not sure it will be a regular...

We had a takeaway a few moths ago, but all food was very sweet almost like they had used sugar instead of salt.
