Not happy at all! Waited well over an hour for the food when at first it said 30-45 mins, time kept going up. Food finally came, freezing cold and with items missing.

The kitchen and the server were very accommodating with our order and made changes to a few of the dishes. The plant based fajitas were great and our mocktails were delicious.

It was an amazing experience from start to finish. The service was great, with the staff being incredibly attentive and efficient, ensuring that all our needs were met promptly. I was celebrating for my birthday and they allowed us have decorations and our a cake their. The drinks were great. A special mention must go to the manager, who was exceptionally nice and went above and beyond to accommodate our requests, making us feel valued and welcome. We had a nut allergy within our party, and the staff handled it with utmost care, providing us with a range of suitable options that did not compromise on taste or quality. The swift service ensured that we could enjoy our meal without any delays, making the entire dining experience seamless and enjoyable

Friendly and quick service. The app had a voucher for £25 off when you spent 100 which was great. The restaurant has a nice vibe. The stack ribs a bit of a let down though. The ribs were really dry, overcooked and not marinated well so had an unpleasant smell. We are unlikely to return because of this. The chips were really nice though.

Our TGI Family! Well, that's what my kids call them! A massive shout out to Marc, Daniel, Aurel, Liam and Kiera! These 5 always provide a fantastic service, as do all the other staff and are always so attentive to the children! The staff are always smiling, talking to the children and going the extra mile during our dining time. Lots of happy customers were also sat around us! We visited this evening, again, and the food was tasty as always! The girls had their colouring packs and we was checked upon frequently to make sure we had everything we needed/wanted. The restaurant is clean and tidy and tables are cleared quite quickly to ensure its readily available for new customers. If you haven't been to TGI's then I definitely recommend this branch- you have to have the sesame chicken as a starter, followed by the double glazed burger! My children really enjoy the kids chicken fajita wrap and also the hotdog! Oh, not the mention the 'Build you own Ice Cream' for dessert. TGI Fridays is a fantastic spot for a fun night out with friends or family. The food was very good, and the drinks were on point. The atmosphere was lively and inviting, adding to the overall experience. I especially loved the 2 for 1 cocktails offer, which made the evening even more enjoyable. It was very cold and uncomfortable they just put little heaters on terrible. Staff were great but they told us they were running out of stock like coleslaw and for the price we paid there was very little food.will avoid next time

Yesterday we attended TGI Fridays mid afternoon for our granddaughter’s 3rd birthday party. It took over an hour for the food to arrive. Food was accidentally spilled all over the table and I ended up cleaning it up. When it came to singing happy birthday to our little one, there was a distinct lack of participation in the staff and one walked away. The service was appalling, food mediocre and expensive for what it was. Previous visits have been much better. The party was for 16 including children. They were hungry before the food was even delivered. When consulted the manager agreed with us that the service and spilled food wasn’t acceptable and offered a discount which wasn’t forthcoming on payment. Each order was over £30+ poor. It was stressful with the children. Not an happy experience which it should have been. Not to be repeated.

Never have I been more disappointed with a TGI Fridays in my life. Before the food arrived I found myself contemplating walking out in favour of the one next to Costco. The booth we were initially pointed to sit at, was filthy. It’s not Smith’s of Ongar but I couldn’t justify sitting down. Having been moved to a cleaner location we ordered drinks which were pricey to say the least and didn’t arrive until we were halfway through our meal, (Our server having forgotten about us). The Wall to Wall barely warranted a sharing platter and sweet potato fries were crispy on the outside and slightly undercooked on the inside. I only mention the fries as these were charged at the extortionate price of £6.40. When our £32.00 2for1 Christmas cocktails arrived they had barely any alcohol and were full of water and ice without much else to offer in terms of flavour. Certainly not the legendary cocktails you would expect to receive from this restaurant chain. My money would have been better spent at Turtle Bay or Las Iguanas cocktail wise for the price. I paid £109 for the 3 of us and have never felt more ripped off. The food got cold rather quickly due to the intense air con being pumped directly above us. Having decided we most definitely weren’t staying for dessert our server advised he wouldn’t be far and jetted off not allowing us time to request the bill. I then had to flag someone down to pay for the bill before promptly marching out as fast as my feet could carry me.

It might be a chain, but consistency is key and unfortunately on this occasion the service was a miss. Food wise, nothing really to complain about. What I ordered tasted fine. Their menu however could do with a makeover. If you’re not hungry for a burger then the other options are somewhat quite limited. I think what annoyed me the most was the service (or the lack of it I should say). Despite the restaurant being super quiet when we got there, staff were nowhere to be found. Most were standing up by the kitchen pass chitchatting amongst themselves instead of looking out for guests. On the plus side, kids eat for free so it’s a pretty good deal if you’re planning on taking the family out without having to break the bank.

Went today for a birthday we had various food ribs burger calamari chicken wings and lots more and I can't lie it was all lovely took a while to be served but the waitress was lovely and apologised to be honest I think there has been an improvement I went last year had the Christmas menu was not impressed but today they have redeemed them self everyone I was with said they enjoyed there food

Still not the TGI Fridays of old but definitely an improvement from my last visit to their Basildon branch. We attended here for a Thursday lunch visit. When sat down, we were only given the main menu. I had to ask the waiter for the lunch time deal menu. He didn't apologise or say that he had forgotten it, just grabbed it for us after I asked him. I genuinely believe this is a tactic that a few different restaurants keep doing to try and get people to spend more money on the main menu, instead of saving money using the deals on the lunch time menu. Sadly there was another menu that had lunch for £7 and we never even saw this one. We only found out about it after the meal and asked if it was real and it was. Very disappointing. Another thing, we had our two children with us. The waiter gave us two children's menus but nothing else. No crayons, colouring-in or activity sheets for them to do. Normally I'd expect something for the kids, especially in a family restaurant. The waiter didn't give us his name, nor was he wearing a name badge. He also didn't write his name on the card you receive with your bill at the end. Thought this was odd. A female member of staff was bringing the food to the tables, she was just wearing a grey Nike quarter zip over the top of, what I assume would have been her uniform. Wasn't very professional and definitely looked out of place. Even with the lunch time deal, we still spent £70 for lunch. 1 kids meal, 4 soft drinks, 2 adults starters and mains. It's never a cheap place to eat but we knew that when we came here. On a positive, the food was very nice this time round. Cooked great and tasted good too. The atmosphere was ok, not too loud which was good. Tables were sat spread out so no overcrowding anywhere which was nice. Only problem we had was where we sat, we couldn't be seen by the waiting staff all of the time, so sometimes we had to wait for a while to get someone's attention or stand up to go and get them. Only a minor thing.

Food was really nice and hot. Service was very quick and the best service we have had all the times we have come here. Our waiter was called David and he honestly was the best. Friendly, helpful and doing everything you’d want to see a waiter do and more! Would definitely come back here!

David our server was very kind, helpful and was working extremely hard and kept checking we were okay and letting us know he would be with us shortly whilst he was serving lots of other tables. The main meal came out very quickly. David was a very pleasant member of staff to deal with.

The outlet can get pretty busy. The speed of service needs a lot of improvement as there’s only one person taking orders for one entire area. The food is standard, nothing different.

We have waited for 45 mins for our food. Everyone keeps walking past our table. No one bothered to tell us what’s going on. The lady who took my son’s order (because of his allergy). She told us that because we ordered a “well-done” stake it will obviously take time. She made us feel that it’s our fault getting it “well-done”. She’s didn’t apologise for keeping us waiting. She sound arrogant. She didn’t even show that she cares. She lacks energy and she’s not even interested to take my son’s order. She looks miserable. The staff didn’t even look happy. The young lady who sits us down to our “still wet” table couldn’t be bothered. She wasn’t even welcoming. The only time you see their fake smile is when you’re ready to pay. They’ll be there in no time. If you’re on a hurry, and you want your food right away, avoid TGIF in Lakeside Shopping Center. It’s a time waster. Either the food was great or because we were very very hungry after the long wait.It was Monday but it feels like you have to wait until Friday before you have your food. So I won’t thank God, and I certainly won’t thank this TGIF. I didn’t enjoy my time. Waste of my day. Waste of our money. I don’t recommend. A big let down. Please avoid.

Lovely lunch with friends. Staff were absolutely fantastic, my friends both have food intolerances and the manager went through the menu thoroughly to ensure their needs were met. Food arrived quickly and was delicious as were 2 for 1 cocktails. 🍸

Amelia deserves a pay rise, was completely focused on us all night, service was 10/10, Kiera was also lovely even though she could hardly speak! The girls were absolutely amazing and highly appreciated their service. The managements banter was shocking and should have appraised Amelia when getting a thank you from us.

I dined here last Sunday about 8pm, the food and service was good but the thing that stood out for me was the way a male manager called Dan from what I heard was speaking to the waitress.I was utterly disgusted at his tone and foul language towards her and he done it openly and didn’t seem to care that anyone could hear him, the poor girl looked visibly upset. He clearly needs to learn how to speak to people very rude man!!

I always love a birthday at TGIS the staff are so friendly and the 241 cocktails are amazing. I wouldn’t want to celebrate anywhere else.

Our server (Keira?) was excellent. But they are either clearly understaffed or some of the staff are undertrained. We had to ask for cutlery, we had to keep telling them what we ordered which came out at different times, we had to ask again for spoons for the dessert, the coffee machine wasn't working and we had to ask for the bill and ask again for the card machine twice. I don't think TGIs will ever blow me away but it is great for families and the food was pretty good. I just think the good staff are being let down by disorganisation and some staff who don't know how to do the basics.

Roy and Emily are the highlight of our dining experience today. What a strong team this site has. Always makes dining here a fun experience. The food was great. Portions were perfect. Friendly and professional service. Can never doubt the lengths the staff go for their patrons! Will be back

Last minute decision for a friends birthday meal, seated very quickly and both Roy and Kiara were super attentive and friendly and looked after us all night.

We came to TGI to celebrate our anniversary and Roy was absolutely amazing, very vigilant with our allergies and very communicative, very kind and willing to have a chat. The food was nice and overall for two appetisers, two mains, 4 drinks and a dessert it came to about £80. Very nice meal out

Booked a table of 2 families for 9 adults and 5 children and made it quite clear that there needs to be 2 separate bills before ordering drinks. Waited quite a while for starters but I couldn’t really complain about the meal apart from its seems quite expensive for what you get. When we asked for the bill there was one bill for the whole table. Was then told by I’m presuming the manager that it’s the companies policy that they can’t separate the bill. The waitress then proceeded to tell me that no one asked her to separate the bill which was a total lie. Total incompetence and will never return and the silly girl lost out of the 10% that she would have received from the £400 bill.

The staff were great and the food mainly tasted fine which is why I have rated it high, but the slaw was sad and dry, the portions are small compared to the price. Mainly I felt it is over priced for the portion sizes. It’s ok and the kids liked it, but the food is pretty basic for the price.

Massively disappointing visit this time (and we usually LOVE TGI), we had a table booked for 4pm and got there to be “greeted” by a lady who looked most put out by the fact we’d walked through the door. Once she’d disappeared to clean a table, we were sat and waited for our server. At this point the table wasn’t laid and was still wet and sticky. We were greeted a few minutes later by a lovely chap who was to be our server. Sadly his great personality did not make up for his lack of product/ drinks knowledge as he subsequently got my drink order wrong and when I asked why my coke was missing the Tia Maria his response was “what’s Tia Maria?” To make things worse, we were confronted with what I would call comedy menus, the new menus are so reduced that they are a third of the size they were and missing key items like JD shrimp??? This was made worse by the fact everything is now either covers in or containing Cajun or saracha spice. Please note TGI that NOT EVERYONE LIKES SPICE!!!” Once the foods came out it was mediocre at best. So after a £100 + bill for 2 adults and a child (with most of the food left) we won’t be returning.

Just been to the Quays TGI’s for the first time after having visited many other TGI locations over the years, by far the best dining experience at the Quays restaurant. Kiera & Roy are a credit to the company! Thank you guys❤️.
