Amelia deserves a pay rise, was completely focused on us all night, service was 10/10, Kiera was also lovely even though she could hardly speak! The girls were absolutely amazing and highly appreciated their service. The managements banter was shocking and should have appraised Amelia when getting a thank you from us.

Served by Kiera, great drinks and a great place to spend the night! Would recommend coming here and if you like cocktails, pick up the mango monster! Thank you for the great service!

me and my partner came in for endless sesame chicken strips today, our favourite dish, had 4 portions, very good value for money. we will be back again soon for more sticky jd sesame chicken.

I dined here last Sunday about 8pm, the food and service was good but the thing that stood out for me was the way a male manager called Dan from what I heard was speaking to the waitress.I was utterly disgusted at his tone and foul language towards her and he done it openly and didn’t seem to care that anyone could hear him, the poor girl looked visibly upset. He clearly needs to learn how to speak to people very rude man!!

had a brilliant night at Lakeside Quay, lots off attractions near by including the big wheel at the beach and always great to end it with a TGI Fridays smash burger and 2 for 1 cocktails.

Had the best bottomless brunch and had the best time ever. Kiera was the best server and she kept us entertained the whole time.

Our server (Keira?) was excellent. But they are either clearly understaffed or some of the staff are undertrained. We had to ask for cutlery, we had to keep telling them what we ordered which came out at different times, we had to ask again for spoons for the dessert, the coffee machine wasn't working and we had to ask for the bill and ask again for the card machine twice. I don't think TGIs will ever blow me away but it is great for families and the food was pretty good. I just think the good staff are being let down by disorganisation and some staff who don't know how to do the basics.

Roy and Emily are the highlight of our dining experience today. What a strong team this site has. Always makes dining here a fun experience. The food was great. Portions were perfect. Friendly and professional service. Can never doubt the lengths the staff go for their patrons! Will be back

Last minute decision for a friends birthday meal, seated very quickly and both Roy and Kiara were super attentive and friendly and looked after us all night.

Went to Tgi Fridays At the Quay, they have a new menu so i thought id try the smash burgers, it was good, i will be back again soon

We came to TGI to celebrate our anniversary and Roy was absolutely amazing, very vigilant with our allergies and very communicative, very kind and willing to have a chat. The food was nice and overall for two appetisers, two mains, 4 drinks and a dessert it came to about £80. Very nice meal out

Booked a table of 2 families for 9 adults and 5 children and made it quite clear that there needs to be 2 separate bills before ordering drinks. Waited quite a while for starters but I couldn’t really complain about the meal apart from its seems quite expensive for what you get. When we asked for the bill there was one bill for the whole table. Was then told by I’m presuming the manager that it’s the companies policy that they can’t separate the bill. The waitress then proceeded to tell me that no one asked her to separate the bill which was a total lie. Total incompetence and will never return and the silly girl lost out of the 10% that she would have received from the £400 bill.

The staff were great and the food mainly tasted fine which is why I have rated it high, but the slaw was sad and dry, the portions are small compared to the price. Mainly I felt it is over priced for the portion sizes. It’s ok and the kids liked it, but the food is pretty basic for the price.

Just been to the Quays TGI’s for the first time after having visited many other TGI locations over the years, by far the best dining experience at the Quays restaurant. Kiera & Roy are a credit to the company! Thank you guys❤️.

Massively disappointing visit this time (and we usually LOVE TGI), we had a table booked for 4pm and got there to be “greeted” by a lady who looked most put out by the fact we’d walked through the door. Once she’d disappeared to clean a table, we were sat and waited for our server. At this point the table wasn’t laid and was still wet and sticky. We were greeted a few minutes later by a lovely chap who was to be our server. Sadly his great personality did not make up for his lack of product/ drinks knowledge as he subsequently got my drink order wrong and when I asked why my coke was missing the Tia Maria his response was “what’s Tia Maria?” To make things worse, we were confronted with what I would call comedy menus, the new menus are so reduced that they are a third of the size they were and missing key items like JD shrimp??? This was made worse by the fact everything is now either covers in or containing Cajun or saracha spice. Please note TGI that NOT EVERYONE LIKES SPICE!!!” Once the foods came out it was mediocre at best. So after a £100 + bill for 2 adults and a child (with most of the food left) we won’t be returning.

I got an incomplete order. I was not happy with the service.

Such a lovely visit for a random birthday surprise meal. Our waiter Daniel was so attentive, friendly, polite brilliant knowledge of the menu and absolutely brilliant with the two young children in our party ( 8 and 6) After drinks order were taken it wasn’t long before they came. Our food order was placed and there was not such a long wait. The kids (11, 11, 8 and 6) were delighted for the food to come. Our food was hot and tasty no faults at all. What I will say is the whole team mainly Emily, Roy and Daniel were exceptional. The kindness they expressed to our children was just invaluable. Customer service was faultless. They were so friendly customer service was second to none. We had the best dining experience with the team I’ve never known anything like it. All I can say is thank you the kids are already asking to come back and for the surprise bday cake which I’m of course too old to do in your establishment :P

On entering the venue we waited for 15 mins to be seated the restaurant was empty and the 2 staff were engaged in dance moves and loud conversations so we walked out .no wonder it was empty!!!

Rubbish on the floor the seats and the menus. Not one of the staff was bothered until it came to leaving a tip 🙄

The restaurant was busy for a Tuesday lunch but the service was amazing all round. The food was quick and the waiters/waitresses were cheerful and bubbly. Thank you Kiera and Aurel for the brilliant service, will be back!

Food was dry and a bit cold, and the wait time for food was painful. The first time we went, we walked out after nearly 2 hours of waiting for starters. This time was quicker but still too long. Staff are very polite and friendly.

Fabulous service from Tamsyn, food was delicious especially the JD glaze! Thank you for a wonderful lunch :)

It would have been higher, but first their was a big crack in my cup, then the waiter changed cup to a tiny coffee cup as they had no others. What 1 tea cup in the whole restaurant, as their was 1 other couple in their. & they had cold drinks. & my husbands food was cold. Will never go back. It was our anniversary lunch too.

A really brilliant experience, we bought our daughter who has additional needs. The staff were friendly and helpful, found us a quieter corner to eat and made the time to chat to her and explain things on the menu. Tamsin our waitress in particular was very good, she’s got excellent customer service skills and we’re so grateful to her for it. It really made a difference to our day. Food was delicious, service was impeccable. Thank you so much

Just had a meal here for my daughter's birthday. Food was ok but very small portions for the price, especially with the kids meals. But the service was shockingly slow. Took 3 attempts and 30 mins to get a coke and 2 waters, even after that only the coke arrived. Same wait for the bill with no apology or even acknowledgement. In total we were served and finished eating in 45 mins. Then 1 hour 30 in all waiting for drinks, bills etc. Really poor service

Spent the afternoon at TGI Fridays and Roy and his team were fantastic. They laughed and joked with us and tended to our needs. The food was great and they happily made adjustments for the fussy child eaters in the group. Highly recommend this site. We will be visiting again. Thanks again to Roy and his team.

We were served by a lovely waitress called Keira. She was friendly and really down to earth. She made a wonderful biscoff milkshake! (Im really fussy with my shakes but it was 10/10) and our food was delivered in good time. Alongside assisting other customers, Keira ensured we were ok and everything was ok with our order. The food was good however i did try the new calamari but i wasn't really keen on them but the Friday wings and full rack of ribs made up for it. A big thank you to Keira and hopefully we'll see you soon!

Fantastic place, they made our friend's birthday one to remember

The place looks great and the toilets are clean BUT: the quality/quantity of the food is not worth the price also we were in the restaurant for a little more than 1 hour and the waitress asked us if we were ok 12 TIMES. It was so annoying. Afterwards we went to McDonald's for dessert, same quality but cheaper. Sorry, not going again.

Sometimes service is hit and miss, can be fantastic and then when you go back be awful. Food is mediocre for the price. Sesame chicken is lovely, only reason I go.

Came in for a meal with my husband before a movie our waitress Rachel was brilliant service was above and beyond nothing was to much even with my fussy hubby 😂 food was great thankyou again Rachel look forward to seeing you again soon 😊

Didn't have a good experience, went with a very large group, everyone paid for their own food and then we was told we were short by £50, they refused to go through it with us, instead left us with the bill and the card reciepts. After about half hour of us trying to work out what happened as everyone had paid for what they had had, we realised there was a card reciept missing. They hadn't deducted the missing £50 off our bill, even though it had been paid. No apology for this at all. Were they just trying to get more money from us as we were a large group and thought we would just pay it? Manager didn't apologise, when we tried to complain about it he just laughed.

Arrived and there was a mild delay for tables and was directed to the bar if we wanted. Food arrived , in two stages but the burgers were cooked to a good standard. Clear favours coming through and displayed in a pleasing manner. The cocktails , again there was a bit of a delayed for us to receive these however can also note it was a busy period. The cocktails where also refreshing, there was a small twist (can’t remember the actual name of it)

Wow. Just wow. The milkshake: to die for. The burger: undeniable. And the service, above and beyond. Truly one of the best dine in experiences I’ve ever had. Balloon making was so much fun too, despite my incompetence, the staff were so attentive and informed. Thanks for everything! Will hopefully see you all soon!

I’d rate the service a 6 if I could. Came here for my sister-in-law’s birthday and the staff were too good, constantly helpful - especially considering our random questions and taking things out of the food e.g. tomatoes out of the burger. Restaurant has a great atmosphere and the food has always been great. Never afraid to suggest. (Cheers Amelia and Roy)

Amazing service from Amelia and the front of house staff! Absolutely lovely staff, they are really attentive with bubbly attitudes and really made our night. Haven’t been to a TGIF in a while but this was a great time! Food was delicious too and will definitely be coming back soon :) 100% recommend the rocky road milkshake it’s SO good!

Me and 6 work colleagues went to Tgi’s last week which we do a few times a year unfortunately not anymore. Service was rubbish - had to ask for drink menus and then ask for someone to take our orders as our server kept ignoring us. When we eventually got our drinks my cocktails were overfilled and dripping down the glass and made the table soaking… Food took ages to come and it wasn’t even busy. The food itself wasn’t good, I got a sharing thing with my colleague and there was no mozzarella in the mozzarella stick? Another colleague of mine had sweet potato fries and they were horrific. We called over the waitress and she took both away and admitted that the mozzarella was overcooked. At this point we just wanted to leave, it took ages for us to tell someone we want the bill aswell after being ignored again. Wouldn’t come back, which is a shame as we came here for birthdays and the occasional meal for team building as we work in lakeside so it’s easy for us.

The burgers you get here are amazing and the staff are friendly and attentive. I will be back here again.

Kiera was our host for the night and she was absolutely amazing, we all had our “birthdays” and she played along and did all sorts of songs with us, did balloon hats and even replaced one of ours after it had popped, bearing in mind we are all adults here for a good night out!
