Ed's Easy Diner - Lakeside in Thurrock

Incompetent waiter first took our order. Young Asian gentleman wearing glasses. Messed up the drinks order and the food order completely. Tried arguing over the fact I wanted to order a small portion of Mac and cheese for my elderly grandmother and said that we couldn’t. Had to have one dish re cooked as it was completely wrong.

What great customer service and value for money little on had a hot dog and chips and loved it. Milk shake was amazing . What a great store Thank-you

The food is just like any other Ed’s Diner. This review is based on the incompetence of the staff. We booked a table well in advance as we had never visited this diner before. When we arrived we said we had a table booked and the staff member said there is no spare tables. After stating we booked 3 times he then turned round and said I’ve found a free table. Guess what it was the table we booked. We ordered of food and drinks which became very complicated and from here I knew they would mess up our order and even said this to my wife. We ordered nacho and the waiter came back and said nacho was off the menu as they never had none. Then in the next sentence they took it off the menu as they never had any avocado? One small piece missing and you take the whole thing off the menu. No option to have nachos without avocado (even though I always ask this to be taken off everywhere we eat as I don’t like avocados). Then our food arrived with my wife’s food missing. To top things off my son ordered a plain classic hotdog with waffle fries. His arrived with normal fries and everything sauce wise and onions in the hotdog. When I asked for this to be sent back and it was not what we ordered the waiter looked at me like I had 3 heads. He returned to say we would have to wait another 5 mins for a new one, no apologies or anything and blaming everyone else. I said this ain’t acceptable as we would finish as his finally did arrive or if we waited ours would be cold. Again no apologies he was just grinning under his half up and half down COVID mask. I wanted to leave there and then and leave them with all this food on the table to clear up but the children really wanted an Ed’s. Finally I asked for the bill and the Nachos to no surprise were still on the bill, clearly wanted to charge me for food they told me was not on the menu. I asked for these to be taken off and this was hard work. We paid in cash and even though it was small change, I was not going to leave a tip (normally we did when the service or food is good). As we waited for the change the waitress literally threw the change on the table at my wife. WE WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS DINER. I strongly suggest you stay away. Absolutely shocking service, some of the worse we have witnessed. I DO HOPE A MEMBER OF MANAGEMENT READ THIS AND MAKES THINGS BETTER OR THE PLACE WILL CLOSE SOON.

Ordered breakfast not expecting everything on the plate to be covered in black pepper. I explained I didn’t like pepper and I had I known, I would have asked when ordering not to add it to my plate. They took back the food, saying it would be 5 minutes to replace it. That actually took 25 minutes by which time my friend had finished their food. We both agreed the food was mediocre and lukewarm, despite waiting so long for my 2nd plate. Not impressed and won’t be going back, as Lakeside must have better places to get a decent, pepper free, hot breakfast.

The food was cold they couldn't even apologise and a member of reeked of cigarettes. To top it all when I said I wasn't happy the manager she started arguing about her staff being busy they only had 2 tables in.

Avoid !!! Ordered wings they are red meat red bone red sent back come back out red again so complained agen and chef said it’s just blood vessels my bum!!! Also waited 40 mins to have are wings come out then wait ages to get bill no one checks up on the table!!! Won’t return agen waste of a birthday meal!!!!!!!!

Waited 15 minutes after orderering for hot dog and chips, had to ask where food was. That was bad enough but the hot dog was as tough as old boots as if over cooked. If it was busy I could understand the wait, but it wasnt

Worst breakfast I’ve ever had. How can mushrooms taste of fish? Bacon was so thin. Felt like skin and was cold on my plate at arrival. Eggs over cooked. With so much choice, god knows why my missus choose this place.

Had a great burger and milkshake here. They have some vegan and vegetarian menu options which is awesome to see, plenty of choice for everyone

The choice of milkshakes here is great! We were able to reserve a table easily on a really busy day. Staff were friendly and polite. Perfect out stop with children :)

Good customer service and great food and drink. Would recommend all day long. A relaxing environment and good to have friends together.

Half term and it’s raining, lunch at Ed’s for two 18 year olds. We were not disappointed, COVID compliant, excellent service and advice from Britannie. Food was very authentic Americana. Great fun, I think I enjoyed the music more than they did!! Recommend the Shakes and Ribs- cheese & bacon fries were a hit. Give it a try

Visited on Thursday lunchtime. Restaurant fully aware of covid and provided hand-wash.. Asked if we had any allergies. When we said yes, they gave us a book of meals with the ingredients. Staff were friendly and food was good.

No prior booking, minimal wait and used our taste card so weren’t disappointed. Food, service and staff were all good. Covid compliant too.

Firstly, I’m surprised to read bad reviews after my last experience. We went during Eat Out Help Out and they were offering 50% off everything, all drinks, alcohol, food and no limits. Could t believe it. And we were really pleasantly surprised with the food. No complaints at all. We have been coming to Ed’s since I first met my wife 15 years ago. We stopped going after a while as we felt it went a bit downhill and other places like Byron popped up with much better burgers. But we went because the queue wasn’t long and we were hungry and noticed they now do ribs. So we got ribs (which were amazing and fall off the bone and also come with mac cheese) and ceased salad (daughter loved it) and a full English (perfectly cooked). Also got halloumi fries and milkshakes etc. To be honest the milkshakes aren’t as good as they used to be. Not at all. But they’re still ok. The halloumi fries are best I’ve had. All in all loved it. The staff were so friendly, really lovely girls. Defo come again now.

We were looking for somewhere to eat for a family, it being lunch time was not making it easier but most of the other eateries were so disorganised that we took the chance and lined up here, although we had to wait about 15 mins for a table it was not too bad. We found the staff helpful and polite considering the amount of things going on. Food was tasty, decent portions and the bonus was a 50% discount as part of the "EAT OUT".. Don't know if we were just lucky with our experience but this is what the review is assessed on.

Terrible - don’t waste your money.If you like cold food and bad service then come here!What a waste of money, would have been better going to Burger King opposite, at least your food is hot and you know what you are getting.All our food was cold so told the waitress although she had an attitude on her and wasn’t very helpful.Ed’s Diner you really need to review this place as it’s got the right concept but with poor staff and chefs it is never going to work. Myself, wife and 2 children were shopping in Lakeside today, we were ravenously hungry as we went out on empty stomachs (just kids fed) so saw an American diner with lots of larger looking people in there. They all looked related funnily enough, so thought to ourselves, they must know and tried it.Staff were nice, and saw 2 people sitting with big milkshakes that looked decent. Sat down ordered! That’s where the experience started go downhill, out came the worse food we have ever eaten out! Should have served it in a troff! Worse burger, worse onion rings, worst salad, like a pile of dog sick.Wife didn’t eat it and sent it back, I broke the good bits off for kids but didn’t let them eat it all, some of it I didn’t trust. I’m greedy and fat so eat myn, but hated every second of it. There is a reason you pay first here, because you wouldn’t pay after.I looked around the room and saw lots of chubby little spotty Essex faces and even they didn’t look amused with their food and they all looked poor, but even they looked like they were used to better! I’ve disgraced my family today, I’m a bad dad and husband, I deserve to be punished for putting them through our lunch

Last time we visited Eds there was service , the tables were spotless , and the food was fast (also what happened to the decor,the mini juke boxes have gone.Eds only had one waiter when we arrived and it looked like they were short on chefs as well. It took 15 mins to get our drinks , and then in total a 38 min wait for food to arrive , food was warm and not hot, but that is the only positive to a dissapointing day, the food was tasty (don't order the Mac n cheese sides it looks like an store brand instant meal and tastes like one).I advise against anyone eating here, there are better and cheaper choices.

No hot drinks as machine was broken, food arrived cold so had to send it back. I ordered pancakes with bacon and maple syrup. The bacon was not streaky, just your normal medallion, it was undercooked and sprinkled with some smokey flavouring- gross! Service was awful and the restaurant was cold. I’m assuming it will be closing down in due course. Shame as used to be a good place to eat whilst out shopping- those days are clearly over!

Wanted a big breakfast to get us through the day’s shopping. Off to a bad start - no hot drinks so had to make do with a soda, which was lukewarm. Could have put up with that if when the breakfasts arrived the food was hot. Unfortunately the bacon and beans were cold. There was a hash brown missing from one meal and after waiting for the guy to bring this and cutlery so we could start eating, Hubble had to go in search of them himself. Asked for the food to be re-served hot. When it came back most of it was ok but the eggs weren’t cooked properly. When I questioned this the response was that the eggs are griddled and should be thoroughly cooked but he couldn’t explain why to top of the eggs were still clear and sloppy. Would never eat here again!

My husband and I chose this as it looked fairly but not overly busy and we wanted a breakfast prior to starting some Xmas shopping.We were quickly greeted and shown to a table and left alone to chose and order. We were then given our mugs for the self service refillable hot drinks, from which we got a latte and a cappuccino which was mainly foam, both of which weren’t particularly hot. Our breakfast was served quite quickly but we got the impression that it had been sitting on the side for a while as this was not particularly hot either. There was no ketchup and when questioned we were told that they keep running out. The breakfast was an ok size and as we had been told prior to ordering that they had also run out of sausage patties we had extra bacon but I would rather had something else instead. Having finished my husband went to get another hot drink but the milk came out curdled and when we told a server we were told we would have to wait as the machine needed to be ‘flushed out’. Needless to say, we didn’t wait. As you pay when you order we didn’t get offered any refund.Very disappointed with our first visit as this will very likely be our last.

Came here today for lunch for our Christmas shopping trip and wish we hadn’t. Awful staff. Two orders for the same table. One came out 20 mins before the other with a missing milkshake. Second came out cold with sweet potatoes fries well over cooked. Took 3 times to ask for a glass of water which when we finally got was warm. Asked for the missing milkshake and was told sorry not on the order so showed the receipt for the milkshake for them to then take a further 10 minutes before the waitress literally slammed it down on the table without an apology or even a word. We used to love it here when it was table service by friendly staff. Now it is order at the bar, wait for ages for cold food to be served by miserable unenthusiastic staff. Never again.

This was our first visit staff were welcoming friendly happy . I chose big Ed’s burger very tasty two burgers , the meat was very good the fries were great and also onion rings . Service was good you go to the counter and order when your ready . They also take the taste card . I would definitely go back we both enjoyed.

4 of us 'walked-in' during an adhoc shopping visit to Lakeside. Welcoming reception. Clean. Music was in-keeping with the theme yet not too intrusive. Wide choice of burgers, dogs etc on the menu. Simple ordering process. We ordered 3 different burgers and 1 hotdog all with sides, plus 4 shakes. Drinks arrived quickly and were delicious - a meal in themselves! Food arrived soon after - huge portion sizes and very tasty. Slightly on the expensive side for this type of food but we used 2 for 1 offer (readily accepted even though we hadn't booked) which brought the cost down to just over £10 per head. Only issue was that the shakes and mains were so filling we had no room for puds - which looked scrummy. Will defo be back. Recommended.

Very bad food not tasty at all!! Spicy Nashville chicken burger was not edible at all! Service very bland... staff seems don’t be bothered! This place Was much better before... not the same .. overpriced and poor quality .. I won’t go back another time!

Had a late lunch here mainly because my boyfriend wanted a milkshake. Our starters were nice, but the mains were very bland. I won't eat here again

Ordered the Skinny Big Ed’s burger with cheesy chips! Quiet so got seat straight away.. ok service.. food was nice.. however side salad was not good.. the dressing tasted quite sugary and seemed plonked on the plate so wouldn’t advise that! Pleasant meal though 👍

Have visited Ed’s Diner in Blue Water, found it to be a good atmosphere, however, lakeside is awful.

Had a great stop off with Kim and the Chef being superb hosts.

Was seated and made to feel welcome straight away,our server jordan s was brilliant and really helpful, nothing was too much and he made sure we were happy and had everything we needed

Ok I *use* to be a regular visitor here & over time I'm sorry to say its standards have slipped if I'm gonna be brutally honest.

We wanted to grab some lunch while shopping and tried Ed's. Looking back, we should have headed to Five Guys instead!

We only ate here because we had a taste card and got a 2-1 deal. I still wished we went to 5 Guys just down the mall. Took a while to be greeted and taken to a table and during our meal there were several tables that took too long to be cleaned. Food itself was ok, nothing special. Plenty of better options nearby.

Lakeside should be a gold mine for any establishment in the food court. I was there on both days, I tried ordering food on the Saturday, there was a queue and went to five guys instead. On Sunday I returned and tried ordering twice. The first time I was standing for 10 minutes, zero acknowledgement from any member of staff, got annoyed and left. After that, I went again and was acknowledged by the lady and was served, whilst waiting at least 10 people came waited, got frustrated and left, the business is loosing business because they are understaffed not sure what's going on. The food I eventually got was average, generic and nothing special. The have the location and interest from people to give them their money, but this is not an organised operation, they have great potential but poor execution.

I am working away and ate here this evening got to admit I ordered the largest burger on the menu for £11 !! And it was a joke my 3 year old can eat more than that , not saying it wasn’t nice because it was but so small I ended up at kfc for a bit more to eat . That been said I am only a small guy too so I think that says it all , oh and for £11 it was just the burger £3.75 if you would like a tiny portion of fries with it ....

Travelled from Chelmsford for an early breakfast. Waited to be seated even though plenty of tables free. Eventually got a table to be told the coffee machine had broken! The big draw of this place is the bottomless hot drinks. No coffee at breakfast! Had an apple juice but no refill offered or anything for the inconvenience.

Probably the worst burger I’ve ever had small,burnt on the outside and dry inside Completely ignored by staff,not a good experience left without finishing meal.

I went to this place just to have a try and OH MY GOD it was kinda snazzy and I loved the food. There was a Nutella milkshake I had and to be honest it was the best milkshake I’ve ever had. The food was amazing but for my opinion the portions of chips are a BIT too small but that isn’t my decision. Overall it was a great experience and I thoroughly enjoyed the food and I will definitely come back!

Had a discount voucher to visit Ed’s diner and another one for a free birthday shake. Great service, good food and great price. The shakes were worth the visit themselves.

Firstly we never actually got to try the food here, the reason for that was ALL empty tables were not cleared from the previous customers, that’s approximately 6-8 tables. To my mind if a restaurant cannot keep the front of house clean, what are they like in the places customers never get to see, as we walked out I gave a member of staff ‘the look’ and gestured to the unclean tables, we went to eat in 5 guys, as we walked back past Ed’s some 40 minutes later, I counted 3 uncleared tables.

This visit was very poor. Went up to order and then waited over 20 minutes for two milkshakes, our food was served before our milkshakes. When I asked the server where our milkshakes were , he said give us two minutes we are just making them, 2 minutes turned into 6 minutes. When they were brought over, not even a sorry for keeping you waiting or an explanation as to why the delay. At one point , when I checked, the diner was left staff free as they were out the back doing something, even the chef was out there. Very poor service. Will not rush back to visit. Food was ok

The food was average, though nothing special. It was just expensive fast food. But the service was non-existent, no, actually it was really, really bad. After the food arrived we were ignored by our server, no check back. Having ordered unlimited drinks I eventuallly stopped her and asked for another round of drinks. She took the order, saying that she was overworked because she was covering two sections (surely a comment for her manager, not a customer). Fifteen minutes later she returned to our table to ask if she could clear our plates. We asked if we could have the drinks we had requested instead. They were served with bad grace and another complaint about how short staffed they were. The plates were cleared and a couple of minutes later the bill arrived (the only thing to arrive promptly). Before we paid for the bill, we asked for some more drinks. We’re still waiting for these to arrive! The whole place seemed chaotic, tables were left uncleared while staff walked around, looking busy at looking busy. Very disappointed, next time we visit Lakeside, we won’t be visiting Ed’s Diner, it’s not worth the effort.

Lovely burger for lunch, advised they where taking longer as they cleaned the grill first to prepare my gluten free food to avoid cross contamination. Well done.

Fancied a burger - Eds sounded ok

Very poor value for money. Prices are expensive and portions are small. The food we ordered (chicken burger and BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger) was no better quality than the average KFC or Burger King but twice the price. Fries were cold and had to be sent back. At least when they exchanged then the fresh ones were hot and tasty.

Imagine yourself sitting in a run down Little Chef circa 1980s.

Dont waste your time, Poor and slow service, food overcooked and cold and small portions . . . yuck. Restaurant is also not clean. Staff had a cannot do attitude. Really gone down hill from a year ago. Definately would not go back.

Went to eds with my partner on Saturday 22nd of September, the floors where extremely dirty. We sat in booth and I instantly put my foot in onions and ketchup. I ordered bacon cheese burger with chillie cheese fries and mac and cheese. And for her a chicken burger with chillie cheese fries. Well the look on my girls face when they placed the smallest portion of fries In front of her. Not to mention my mac and cheese was cold. Not even warm.Cold! Also same as hers my chips where nearly none existent, only good thing was the Budweiser, came to £32 or maybe more. Never will I eat here again. Also one of the staff seemed to be staring at us while we ate.

Firstly we asked for cokes, we were told they only sell cans £5.40 for 2 cans!! then saw another customer use the refill machine ..

friendly staff, good selection of American inspired food and drink. American inspired décor. food presented well and was hot, milkshakes cold, all things should be as they are, which was great. will defo return.

Typical American style burger bar in terms of décor, but very clean and well presented. Although this venue wasn't particularly big, the service by the waiting staff was first rate and they worked very hard to clean the table once empty owing to the queue outside.

Visited on a lunch time on Sunday, what a mistake from the time we sat down the table was dirty with no cutlery.

Visited here yesterday with my husband and it was bad from the get go really.

We usually enjoy our meal, even though it’s expensive. This time we were quite disappointed. The milkshakes were not up to the usual standard and when we ordered our burgers we were not asked how we wanted them so they were all well done. One of us had chicken & waffles and the waffle was so dry it was hard to swallow as there was hardly any maple syrup on them. We may go back again but for the moment we’ll stick to GBK for our burgers.

We popped in here after a shopping day in Intu shopping centre. It’s a relatively small diner, but had enough space. It wasn’t too busy and there were plenty of staff to assist if needed. The service was quick and the staff were friendly. The food was nice, the portion sizes looked really small but they were actually quite filling. The only downside is I thought the bill was quite expensive for a diner.

Been visiting Ed's ever since it opened, and always appreciated the quirky atmosphere and attempt at "US"-style diner experience. But a week ago I got a shock - the décor has been sterilized and the waitress service axed. All that's left now is a very expensive "fast-food" outlet where you queue up at the counter to order. Customer-operated drinks counter is a magnet for kids and unhygienic for adults, and the menu has been pruned back removing some old favourites. Top it off - the "revamp" that removed all the 50's décor didn't include a new lick of paint, so the bare walls just look old...

Went with the family and expected more!

It was a quiet time when we visited and had managed to choose a comfy booth for us and our 3 children (It is on the small side, should it get busier). The waitress was very friendly and the food was amazing. The portions were huge and authentic, we all enjoyed the American experience! Def looking forward to going back.

If you are looking for a nice lunch then this is a good place to enjoy a burger, fries and a milk shake. The surrounding were clean and the staff were helpful.

Went here lunchtime - I have Gourmet Society membership and the special offer was 50% of the food bill (not drinks). We both had foot long hotdogs - I had all the trimmings including onions, crispy onion flakes, gherkin, mustard and tomato ketchup - it was delicious. The chips were nice and seasoned too! Great value at just over £11!

We visited Ed's dinner lakeside on Sunday for a family meal but what a let down. My 2 daughters ordered the veg burgers with salsa sauce but no sauce no explanation before the order just we have no sauce. I order chilli burger that had no chilli spice in it at all and a mixed salad made up of the same lettuce. The portions are so small now a child would still be hungry add that to the over the top prices Ed you will never see a penny of my money again.

Although the restaurant had run out of ice cream and they couldn’t make any milk shakes the food was great. I would return!

Very disappointed with our visit to lakeside diner. The staff were very pleasant & helpful,stopping the table service is a mistake as is making your own drinks. The inviting atmosphere is gone & juke boxes at the tables are a loss.before visits were an exciting experience not now though. When our chips arrived they looked the worse for wear & unappetising ,but they were swiftly replaced. Fortunatley we had a half price voucher codep, wouldnt have wanted to pay full price.

Had the full American breakfast, it was lovely, the restaurant is clean and inviting, staff are polite and welcoming and great service

We ate at Ed’s diner Lakeside a fortnight ago and were very impressed with it there. The food was really nice and lots of it. We thought the interior was great- sat in a lovely booth.Our waitress said the following week there was going to be a new menu with more dishes on it. We also thought that the staff here were fantastic - a special mention to Emilia and Alex who made us feel so welcome and who gave brilliant service. Next time we go to Lakeside we will dine again at Ed’s for sure. Thank you!!

Pros: Has seasonal menus which are interesting. Milkshake (pumpkin) was impressively tasty. Server was very helpful, and polite. Cons: Very small restaurant, which meant we had to queue for a while, and the seating was a little bit cramped.

The food was very adequate and nice and the waitress I think her name was kayleigh was very friendly and very talkative would recommend coming here again For food.

has gone down hill really bad come here before christmas and was really nice has it changed over hands? the manager is really rude wont be coming back here again the food was cold and over priced such a shame as was really nice

Visited for breakfast last week, the food is great and we all enjoyed it but the service is shocking!! The waitress was quick enough to take our order but after giving us our food she was no where to be seen to ask for extra drinks or refills on our tea and coffee, and when she did appear she tried very hard not to make eye contact with our table as if she was avoiding us??!!

Gone is the Ed’s Diner of yesterday. The old look of an American 50s diner complete with Aiden/waitress service was the main selling point of this place.

And it's not good. They've moved from waiter / waitress service to counter, the menu has changed (i.e. it's shorter), the jukeboxes have gone, the 50's diner feel has gone. So long Ed's, it was good knowing you.

Normaly i go for lunch or dinner but today i decided to Visit but this was Breakfast so deserves another...

Food was ok, had a voucher for 50% off. Service was slow. Would not go if not for the voucher....

Arrived and was busy, he questioned how many of us, we said 3, he replied sorry full!!

If you want the more unhealthy fast food at a table this is your place, although the food was tasty its more the lower end range.

Americans would be embarrassed by this place. We had a great friendly waitress but she was let down by the lack of structure in the kitchen. After a near 20 minute wait we watched as our meals, and those of many other diners, sat at the pass waiting for our fries. At least 5 minutes.

Had a really brill evening with my family we had fab burgers and cheesy fries while listening to old songs from the fifties staff were friendly and helpful and would deffo do this again absolutely wonderful

Was in desperate need of a chees fries, so swung by to get some nice & quickly .Served attentively by a nice girl, left happy .Much better service than my previous reviews have stated over the years, but I chose to not linger intentionally. Hope this unit can work out its issues based on the other mixed reviews people have been leaving about it!

Recently visited with family for dinner and we were all very happy with our food, service and milkshakes!

Sat down and was told the waiter would be over shortly for drinks. Waited 15 minutes to order but not even 1 server came up to the table. Terrible customer service especially when only one guy rushing around, serving most of the tables, the manager and the other female server not pulling their weight. Not going back there again and advise others to steer clear!!

Looked like a fun place to stop for a bite to eat on a shopping trip with my daughter. My daughter had a Bacon Blue Burger, which was well cooked and tasty. I had a Cheese Burger which was a little too pink for me. I asked for it to be popped on the grill for a tad longer and the Manager (?) said that they would cook a completely new burger and kindly took this off the bill. I didn't have to make a fuss, she was extremely apologetic and very professional..We also had Coke Floats which were very nice.The restaurant was clean and the service was great. We would be happy to visit again.

A small diner, compared to other Ed's Diners we have visited. But still to their high standards of service. Very busy, but they cope with everything very well. Great to be able to sit away from the hullabaloo of all the other eateries, and enjoy the food. Also great that you can get credit towards future visits. Food so good may plate is now empty. Looking forward to future visits to Ed's.

Customers were walking out left right and centre. Manager couldn't decipher which foods were and weren't gluten free. We had burgers, over cooked, fillings burnt, cheese lacking, fries undercooked and cold, onion rings dripping in oil. Compared to Bluewater this is awful. Service was slow and not worth the wait. Disappointed

Probably my own fault, I allowed myself to be talked into having a bite of lunch here. It was noisy, tables were sticky, albeit it the little waitress in fairness was a gem, very social sweet natured, couldn't do enough. Shame about the sticky tables then! Sorry food was SHOCKING I can't even find a kindness in my heart to refer to it as edible. A burger over cooked until rock solid, they also run out of coleslaw - really!.... Lordy, I will never, not ever go to another Ed's as long as I live, so help me.....

Gluten free. Again we can eat somewhere .where Laura the waitress knows all about gluten free menu.what is avalable.had burgers off the lunch menu.very good.bottleless cups of coffee and green tea.

Stopped by for a quick breakfast with the kids and were pleasantly surprised. They have a full breakfast menu, including traditional American pancakes. Full breakfast menu for the kids too which was really reasonably priced and included a drink. Always pleased to see a bottomless coffee on the menu! It's a nice cheery place and the kids liked the big booth we were seated in. All in all, a great breakfast experience.

wood was chewy and did taste a bit bland when i go to other eds diners normally never happens! Waiter was so rude, didn't help with anything and when asked something huffed puffed. Gave us the bill and we had apple pay and she says they don't use it, so got my card out and said oh machines broke, had to go get money out and while I was gone apparently she was moaning at my friend, sorry we pay on cards, not our fault its yours! Had to complain as she was so rude and the manager didn't look too pleased!

Undercooked tough chewy chicken sent back and replaced with beef as didn't want to risk it, no customer service or offer to reduce bill, couldn't wait to leave, was surprised it was so empty but the food has gone downhill so explains it!Best thing was milkshake
