The pub has a very good selection of Gluten Free for my friend. She really enjoyed the meal. I certainly enjoyed mine as did the rest of the party. I would definitely cone here again for food. Friendly helpful barman as well

Six of us seated across two tables. Ordered over £40 of food and drinks. Drinks came together but only one of the three meals. We waited. The first meal was finished. We waited. Our drinks were finished. We waited. The couple who arrived after us received their food. We questioned where our meals were. We were told it was because we were on seperate tables. We pointed out the other couple arriving later. The waitress, unapologetically went to chase it up. We were told because there was a mix of breakfast and lunch order, they were cooked separately. Breakfast menu was egg on toast, lunch menu was child’s beans on toast but apparently they take much longer. We were told that we should have been made aware of the delay, we weren’t, we were then patronisingly told that they weren’t going explain how a cafe kitchen works. Overall, very rude. As a family who come to Filey regularly and have been paying customers in this cafe we will not be returning again.

Just book it, so worthwhile for everything

Disappointed fish very dry .my grandson was visiting .and treated me to fish and chips . Takeaway I live in cayton but always loved your shop ..the fish was dry and mine had a strange fin piece battered ..sorry but can't afford to waste money .so won't recommend you again

We really enjoyed our experience at this great traditional pub! Everything was great! Good knowledgeable staff, very friendly! Lovely food and drinks. Everything was homemade, The prices are very reasonable. We really enjoyed our experience. Definitely we’ll return next time we’re visiting from North Wales. Everything was simple and easy.

Albert’s became a family favourite after our last visit in 2021 - a fantastic location offering a wonderful choice of seafood, served professionally and with a touch of sophistication. In 2023 we had family from USA and Australia visiting, so on a trip to Whitby we booked Albert’s as a way of showcasing the ‘Best of British’ - unfortunately in the intervening period, the standard has dropped significantly. Menu choices were limited (the seafood platters we were expecting weren’t available) and whilst the service was friendly, it felt overall like we were eating at a slightly upmarket cafe - such a waste of the wonderful location. Hopefully the people running Albert’s can recruit well and get the kitchen back to where it used to be, and a bit of training for front of house to bring back the special feel that it we experienced on our earlier visit.

Precioso café a la antigua con una vista increíble. Siempre detente aquí para tomar una bebida caliente cuando pasees al perro. Por dentro es un poco oscuro, pero me siento fuera, ya que hay un montón de mesas y bancos. Selección decente de comida caliente, el culo de patatas fritas es enorme! Sólo efectivo.

Stayed here recently while on a weekend retreat at Samye Dzong, just across the road through a small pretty park. Hotel was wonderful, central location, warm, comfortable rooms, loads of hot water, and amazing, thoughtful staff. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, offering to do bar meals in residents sitting room, accommodating guests with a dog, every member of staff made sure guests were treated as individuals and delivered a personal service. Breakfasts were generous, tasty and very well priced and the bar meals were also very good. I think this hotel delivers excellent, personalized service, at great prices, in a very central location. Thanks to all the wonderful staff and looking forward to my next stay.

Nos alojamos por una noche para la cena, alojamiento y desayuno y nos encantó! La habitación era cómoda, con todo lo necesario y una hermosa vista. Nuestra cena fue deliciosa, el pastel de pescado era exquisito y el filete de bacalao cocinado a la perfección. Los mini postres eran encantadores, especialmente el pan de mermelada y pudín de mantequilla. El desayuno en la mañana estaba muy bien presentado y había un montón. Los huevos revueltos y el salmón ahumado eran preciosos. Sin duda recomendaría este lugar para aquellos que quieren una noche tranquila y disfrutar de comer pescado perfectamente cocinado. Stayed in one of the apartments and it was brilliant. It was spacious, very clean and perfect for what we needed. The location was great and parking was easy. The staff were lovely and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Called in just to try. Amazing fresh home cooked food. I had Turkish mixed grill and mrs had cajun chicken burger. Delicious highly recommend this place
