Hemos estado en el tejo innumerables veces en los últimos meses. Cada visita es de 5 *. La comida es increíble, hemos probado una variedad de elementos en el menú. Mi favorito son las tortitas y mis compañeros el huevo revuelto. Los pasteles son deliciosos y siempre tienen tan buena gama. El personal es muy amable y servicial. Es nuestro lugar de destino y siempre nos sentimos bienvenidos. Gracias.

Beautifully Decorated, lovely location and DELICIOUS food! We came to Grosmont for a walk and finished it off at this cafe. I definitely recommend it.

Decepcionado no hay muchas opciones en pasteles. Nada parecía atractivo, así que solo tomé té. Sin ambiente. Arriba, así que no es adecuado para cualquier persona con problemas de movilidad. Las escaleras son negras y necesitan bordes de color / peligro. Iba a reservar el té de la tarde tan contento de que no lo hicimos. Lo siento, pero no creo que vuelva.

My Wife and I recently attended a wedding at 'The Barn'. Fabulous venue, food and service, would highly recommend. We all had a great day however one issue regarding the bar prices, many of the guest's commented on the high prices. That was the only negative, beyond that great, Many thanks for a wonderful day.

I always pop in for a cappuccino if I am in town and I have to say it’s one of the best coffees I have had. Very smooth and not bitter at all. Very friendly relaxed atmosphere and nothing is too much trouble. I also love to look at the dog board as my little pooch is on there! Highly recommend this cafe you will not be disappointed.

Best chippy in Scarborough. Been coming here for a few years now, always visit when I make the 2.5hr drive ❤️

We'd been walking around Filey on a wet morning and were looking for a spot of lunch. This place fitted the bill, service is friendly and we both had the soup of the day - clam chowder which came with a bread roll.

We visited for dinner when staying on the nearby Egton Estate and had a fantastic evening! The pub is beautifully and uniquely decorated. We had mushrooms and goats cheese for starter - the goats cheese is made locally and is the strongest goats cheese we've ever had - very tasty! For mains we had beetroot bourginon and pork belly and just as good as the starters. We met the chef (and owner) and he was lovely, as was the woman on the bar. We also visited the farm shop during the day and got some excellent cheeses, incredible pork pie and scotch egg, as well as some lovely gifts. We will be back and definitely recommend a visit!

Been here on several occasions. Bacon sandwich and hot drinks are always amazing. Staff friendly and decor is really pretty 😍 Highly recommend and will be back again. Desserts and other drinks look great too.

Visited here on Sunday with my OH. Had the lovely Sunday roast, choice of 4 different roast. Lovely fresh vegetables, perfectly cooked. Would have been better if the heating was warmer as it felt slightly cold. Nevertheless it was excellent all round.

Staithes is a beautiful little coastal spot with an unspoilt feel about it and we found The Captain Cook Inn placed at the top of the town a great place to stay and enjoy the area. The walk into Staithes itself is down a very steep hill with the walk back more than a bit testing for some. However we found a present welcome on arrival at the Captain Cook where we were given the pass code for our room and the after hours rear door. Our room itself was really big with nothing short of outstanding views of the area and coast. The room was clean and well stocked the tea coffee and biscuits. After a great nights sleep we moved on the breakfast, I enjoyed a full English which was tremendous with great tasting quality bacon sausages and eggs. My partner who is a non meat eater and hardly ever eats much in the morning ordered poached eggs tomatoes hash browns beans and mushrooms and finished the lot! Stay here with our recommendation and enjoy a beautiful little piece of the English coast.

Lugar encantador para un café. Personal muy amable. Lo único negativo que hemos experimentado las últimas dos veces que hemos estado son los perros. No te preocupes de que se acuesten en silencio, pero cuando los propietarios los tienen en su regazo y los perros patas están en la mesa o trepando por encima de los muebles. Piense que esto necesita ser abordado por los dueños de la tienda. Así las cosas, es demasiado "amigable para perros"

Bueno con mi pareja para una buena comida y venir un poco por ella .. mi otra mitad ni siquiera podía cortar el pudín Yorkshire y podría decir que le da cuerda preguntó si podría cortar para ella lo cual es vergonzoso y todos los que buscan .. pidió otra couse era rock tenido. Salir con otro era lo mismo que ambos no podían querer de humor para comérselo. Y hemos estado mal toda la noche y hoy horrible comida últimamente. Yorkshire quiere congelado casero podría tel. Muy decepcionado bajado comida colina desde la última vez. Fumar hacía que mi pareja se sintiera tan pequeña que no le daba vergüenza. No podía salir así. Control de calidad.
