We've eaten here before when visiting Grassington. It was very good in every way the first time and lived up to our expectations. Very friendly service, delicious food, although the soup was so tasty, it was on the cool side. Overall, we'd definitely visit again, when in Grassington. Lovely restaurant setting.

Servicio vergonzoso y comida asquerosa.

When we walked in the staff were very polite. However when i went to the bar to order food there was a young girl near me who got shouted at by a member of staff while they where behind the bar, Very unprofessional !! And some of the things she said were awful overall the food was okay, we will return hoping its a more friendly experience next time.

Came in to have a coffee. Lots of cakes and bread on display but nothing has a price on! Would have to ask to know what anything costs! Pies uncovered on top were over cooked/burned. Not sure why you would put them out. And everything being uncovered and where people queue is off putting. Seeing people cough and sneeze next to food you are expected to eat is not my idea of good hygiene. No one in kitchen wearing hair nets, and saw one member of staff wipe her nose on back of her hand, another poking her ear before both went back to handle food. Young woman asked if we wanted food. I said no just coffee. Reply was well you’ll need to wait. Well the wait wasn’t worth it. The drink I had was nothing like coffee. Warm milky water maybe. Very disappointing. And somewhere we have previously enjoyed. It used to be excellent. What’s happened?

I first visited this Fish and chip shop 20 plus years ago it was excellent then It's still very good today the cod and chips were very good and cooked fresh while I waited .. It does get busy in the small shop so you can expect to wait.

Really tasty meal. Large portions. Competitive prices. Pick up or delivery options. Fast service. Place appears clean and tidy. CASH only, this is why I gave it a 4star as no option for 4.5. Look forward to trying something else from menu.

We went for a Mother's day walk and decided to have lunch at the Craven Heifer at Stainforth mainly due to location but also timing. The food felt as if it was home cooked and very tasty, the roast beef was melt in your mouth and the sprouts and carrots were to die for. A lovely family meal had by all. The staff were also very friendly.

We visited on a Friday lunchtime, very busy. Our last visit here was perhaps 4 years ago, so we thought we would try it again. Really glad we visited, the staff were amazing, all of them, friendly, professional and smiles all around. The food, to be honest, I was blown away by the presentation when I received my order, absolutely stunning, and everything on the plate was cooked to perfection, quite possibly the best pub food I have ever eaten, yes, it was that good. My friends also loved their food. It’s a wonderful place, with great staff and excellent food, 10/10 simple!

Rubbish food i wouldnt even feed to my dog the batter on fish was soggy and the peas were tasteless and radioactve looking. The guy behind the till was lucky to have four teeth and seemed very interested in my father as he was eyeing him up. Come to bill and bens!!!! I have years of experience being a food critic and bill and bens absolutely rocks my world compared to this place!!! LOOK AT THE FISH THEY SERVED ME OT WAS STILL ALIVE???

Step back in time to the original "Woolpack," back in the good old days of Emmerdale Farm and there it is, the Falcon Inn in Arncliffe. Once the word got out, people flocked for miles to try and get a glimpse of the actors during filming. The tiny, peaceful village got so packed that the residents couldn't get in and out of the place and protests began. Eventually filming moved to Esholt, on the outskirts of Bradford and over the years, Arncliffe returned to a sleepy little village. There is still a photo next to the bar of Amos Brierley and Henry Wilkes, as well as a more recent photo of the modern James Herriot and his wife, from the new series of All Creatures Great and Small. The pub is packed with items of interest; better than many museums I have visited. It's quirkiness is a joy to behold and you could spend a long time trying to take everything in. You can park outside, next to the green. The only sound is that of the birds and the occasional farm animal. There is a compact but enticing menu and we had a lovely plate of sandwiches and fries for two. I even enjoyed the air conditioning toilets, though it was a bit of a limbo to get into the cubicle. Having passed by a number of times, I'm pleased that we made the effort to go in at last. If you want total tranquility, you can also stay there, as they have a few rooms available. Go take a look. You'll be surprised. We were.
