Called in here twice this week 5th and 11th October 2024,on my motorbike,When this cafe is at its busiest(usually a Saturday)Theres a few staff serving/cooking/washing up. On other days when it's quieter especially Monday, tues, thurs, friday(closed weds)there's often only the guy there on his own, today there was only him,I don't know how he manages on his own! Give him and the other staff some respect?and if your grumpy to him then he might be grumpy back,I'd say fair do,s. The breakfast baps are delicious and the latte,s are lovely, plus if you call in don't buy anything and expect to use the toilet then no why should you?Great cafe I will still visit on bike or in car.sit outside or in.Good meeting place.Watch your speed near this cafe too!

https://www.yell.com Yell Route 59 Cafe, Skipton | Cafes & Coffee Shops Find Route 59 Cafe in Skipton, BD23. Get contact details, videos, photos, opening times and Last minute call in for 2x bacon buttie and 2 latte's. 14 quid... wow Grumpy owner/ server! I took coffee to car it tasted of dishwater very weak and milk was scolded rather than frothed .....within one minute looked like a americano rather than a velvety smooth latte. went back in to ask for another shot of expresso to wake the coffee up...Mr grumpy not happy! I've never had complaints before....err read your own reviews! Asked the nice batista😉 if he wouldn't mind tamping the coffee puck to improve the infusion and give the nice crema layer on the shot.think Mr grumpy was more grumpy! 😧when the 'shot' was drawn it looked like dishwasher so obviously some nasty cheap grind coffee.. If you go to the expense and trouble of installing a coffee machine please learn to use it correctly after all your CUSTOMERS are paying a premium price! After all think of the long journeys the coffee bean has been on to end up in a tatty cafe on the a59! Bacon buttie was average (I'm been generous) but two rashers on on a bap is a bit tight for 4 quid! Asked for mushrooms got growled at couldn't get mushrooms today.....so overall I'll give my experience 9.5 out of 10......oops decimal point in wrong place 0.95 out of 10... Looking through reviews (wish I had done it earlier and saved 14quid!) Mr grumpy will respond to critique in the same manner as he served and how he responds to every negative feedback Lack luster owner doesn't deserve the custom. Look faward to your response

Not fair on travellers in need of a loo break. You have to purchase something first. Not a polite service. I left on principal. Too many people have mentioned this same problem even when they've been desperate to go it's not allowed. Rude comments are given in return. It's there for motor bikers. That says it all.

Visited this cafe for a bikers breakfast and was really impressed. They have a sign that says "[this is a bikers cafe - all are welcome but not interested in changing to suit non bikers]" or words to that effect. There were non-bikers there enjoying it just as much as the many bikers. Place is clean; staff are the friendliest folk around, food was great and a whopping cup of lovely coffee for not a lot of money. Biker newspapers to read, loads of parking, outdoor seating as well as the cafe and a wall to sit on too if you like. Brilliant !

Nice Cafe popular with bikers but open to all. I've only had your usual brekkie type butties and a drink but these were done well and are reasonably priced. Staff always friendly even when they are busy, they must earn their brass on biker nights.

Have been calling on this cafe for a few years now and the lady owner is very pleasant and provides a good and efficient service. Called in on Thursday 9th May. It was busy but I got a seat. Another couple were serving and I waited to get my order taken. They definitely knew I was waiting but totally ignored me. I gave eye contact as if to say ‘ I’m ready, please take me order’, but to no avail. Walked out in the end. Probably won’t go back unless the other lady is there. Shame. Thought you should know nevertheless.

This cafe is small with a badly laid out but good sized car park. It is on a main but featureless road just outside skipton. It has biker information and notices but is used by a very mixed customer basel. Food is typical fried fare and decent ,if a bit slow when busy. There is a outdoor toilet and you have to ask for the key.

Got to be the smallest cafe in the U.K. just the four tables inside plenty of seating outside , free WiFi hence the bloke on the next table with the laptop and the two hour old coffee , bit of a limited menu offering a number of cooked breakfasts ranging in size with the normal accompanying cooked sandwich’s but shock horror we went for the cheeseburger with bacon which was a bit tasteless, there was a electric heater next to me but there was no heat coming out of it , which was a shame as it was freezing , would I venture back .. probably not

I called into Route 59 after a friend recommended it. Although I only had coffee and a bacon sandwich, both were great quality and reasonably priced. I have to say this is one of the frendliest places I have visited. Audrey and Bobby made us feel like we'd known them for years. If you're passing, drop in. If you're not passing, find an excuse to do so.

Just passing it again and decided to give it a go as we pass quite often, not very big inside only 4 tables inside 16seats but very clean, all the food is cooked to order didn't look like just warm it up again had the bacon cheese burger with salad and a coffee and a cheese burger no salad with coffee all for less than a £10 so for us we will be giving it another go hopefully we will be on the bike next time.

We called here for lunch as our usual cafe was full up, and had a really nice lunch. The cafe inside is very bijou, but really clean and the staff were friendly and pleasant. Huge thumbs up as they have Quorn bacon and sausages so veggies don't miss out- I had an Eggs Benedict with veggie bacon and it was lovely! My companions' food was also very well received, particularly the locally produced bacon which both praised highly. The choices were a little limited, especially drinks as they were out of orange juice, but with the great value and the friendly service this wasn't a big issue and we would happily return.

. . . . . . más de lo mismo, por favor!

On a trip back from Harrogate to Preston we called in on the off chance we could get a drink. It was all the things yo want from a cafe - clean, pleasant, fresh cooked food and low prices. Run by a lovely lady who made us and everyone else feel special. A tea and a coffee freshly made for £2.80. What a bargain. No wonder there was regulars having lunch.

Stayed at The Lister Arms for a couple of nights mid week. We stayed in the Lister Barn which is a 2 minute walk from the actual pub. Cosy and warm, tastefully decorated with lovely toiletries - a real gem of a place. The main pub is really cosy, with a gorgeous fire burning all day and evening. Breakfast and dinner here were both really good with large portions. Lots of dogs inside the bar area too which was lovely. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely return.

After driving around the Yorkshire Dale's, we were in need of a drink and snack. We came across this lovely little tearoom and we weren't disappointed, quirky and quaint I would say, very friendly, great value for money too.

Fantastic place. Roll with bacon and sausage was lovely. Really good quality ingredients and perfectly cooked. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. I've been coming here on caving trips for 25 years and always either start or finish the day in Inglesport. Love it. The only thing I'd say... bring back the pints of tea!!! And please don't ever stop doing the tiffin, it is the best on the planet.

On arrival the pub does not inspire confidence in the quality of food - but it was really very good. I was dubious about the sizes of sunday roasts after reading a previous review - and to be fair, the plates do not arrive loaded with masses of veg or mash. However, we all left feeling satisfied and it really felt like well prepared, high quality food. The steak and ale pie, and steak and ale yorkie had the same filling, which was superb.
