The best restaurants in Craven Yorkshire and The Humber

We visited the OPO yesterday and loved our visit... The bar was full of great beers 🍻 to quench our thirst and the atmosphere was very friendly... just what is needed for the ingredients for inviting people to be together close together... there's no choice about getting close to eachother but all the more fun 😊... Loved it and I AM coming back xxx

This isn't full on fine dining, but nor is it standard fare. It sits somewhere in-between. Service is first class and very friendly. The subterranean dining room is very pleasant and comfortable and feels very intimate. We had the 5 course taster menu and wine flight for under £100 each, which felt like good value for money. The menu changes every month which is great for repeat business. The chef comes out and asks you what you felt about the food at the end of your meal, which was appreciated. The pudding was my least favourite course, but the canapes and the other four courses were very nice. If I were to offer some advice, it would be to add some carbohydrate and vegetables to the main course. Would I come back ? Definitely, but probably go a la carte next time.

Friendly staff, great service. Beautifully decorated with an Easter theme. We had sandwiches and hot melts, all very tasty. The coffees were delicious too. Really enjoyed the visit, thank you!

Been here a few times and it always delivers on great service and great food, cooked right there in open area of the kitchen. I went for the Belly Pork with mustard Potatoes, veg and Black pudding an absolute delightful meal, the wife went for the Chicken Breast with a Salad and pasta which had a great yoghurt sauce again a lovely meal.

We received a warm welcome and enjoyable Turkish cuisine here. There's plenty to choose from, including a good vegetarian range and wine from Turkey itself. Leave room for baklava, if you love a proper dessert! We'd love to return

The Riverside provides excellent food time and time again. The ingredients used in the dishes, both savoury and sweet, are of a high quality and new fail to please. The coffee, including the decaf, is equally as good too. Today we enjoyed a bacon and a vegan roll (even though I am not vegan it is so super tasty) followed a pistachio and courgette cake with passion fruit curd and Maltesers malteser tiffin, all fully recommended.

We called here today the 18th March at 13.20 we were made very welcome by the the attentive staff. The fish and chips were of excellent quality and cooked fresh . A added bonus is that they are dog friendly in the restaurant part of this excellent establishment. If you are in the area head for the frying Yorkshire man and enjoy excellent service a very warm welcome and of course the food which is 5star

This is a loverly cafe with great coffee and really nice home made food. Staff are very friendly Definitely worth a visit

Comida y bebidas excepcionales. Ambiente encantador. Necesitaba una parada en un viaje entre Los Lagos y York y no podría haber elegido ningún lugar mejor. Los sándwiches de desayuno eran deliciosos y la sopa de hongos era la mejor que he probado. Sigue haciendo lo que estás haciendo, volveremos 😁😋

If you've never dined at the Krafty Kitchen you don't know what you are missing. The food is beyond good it's fantastic. It's tasty and plenty of it at very reasonable prices. The restaurant is spotless and the staff are very friendly. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Absolutely fantastic experience. Staff very friendly and attentive at the right level. Service was quick and the food out of this world. Enjoyed it so much. Best sticky toffee pudding ever! Thank you, look forward to visiting again.

This place is in a beautiful location. After a hard day cycling, we we had run out of water and food. Although the tea-room was closed we asked if our water bottles could be topped up. The lady who owns the place was busy but she could not have been more kind and helpful. She brought us delicious home-made chocolate cake and filter coffee and stayed for a chat. Absolutely amazing customer service and saved us that day! Thank you!

If you find yourself in Malham, I would recommend making the effort to walk the short distance up Finkle Street, out of the village centre to the Cawden Barn Coffee & Bakehouse. You won't be disappointed, great place not only for coffee and cake but also sandwiches, lunch etc. 👍👍

Very good pies at Saxon. Nice short crust pie with tasty chips. At great price too. Would definitely recommend

Gran lugar para una parada mientras conduces arriba / abajo de la A 65. Hay un museo del queso y muestras disponibles. Para un picnic disfrutamos de jamón Yorkshire secado al aire local y queso Yorkshire local en galletas saladas en el área de picnic. También puede abastecerse de cerveza local para disfrutar en casa. Si por ninguna otra razón, vale la pena venir a usar la máquina expendedora de queso.
