We received a warm welcome and enjoyable Turkish cuisine here. There's plenty to choose from, including a good vegetarian range and wine from Turkey itself. Leave room for baklava, if you love a proper dessert! We'd love to return

Really great restaurant! I visited with a friend for an early tea. There was so much choice on the menu one of the staff helped us choose and we took his recommendation and the meal was seriously good. We had baklava for a dessert which was gorgeous and coffee to finish. Staff were absolutely lovely, atmosphere was great and the price for food was very reasonable. Brilliant restaurant in Skipton, will certainly be back. Very good! Thank you

This isn't my first review of Efendy, but wanted to do a more up to date one. We visited last night Friday 23rd and had the fish sharing platter for the first time, it was absolutely amazing, so healthy, fresh and tasty! Not going to go on and on but the hot part of Salmon, sea bream and a fish "stew" with all the veg etc were amazing. The sauce which the "stew" was in was so good I could have drank a pint of it! The staff as ever were amazing! One small tip, no pun intended, but if you do visit, you will want to leave a tip for the staff, take cash as you can not pay the tip on card. Keep it up!

A lovely meal out with a friend. I had the salmon and she had the lamb skewer. Both were delicious! Service is always friendly and welcoming. Good atmosphere inside. Portions good size. Always happy to return and recommend to others.

We brought a friend for a birthday meal and the restaurant made us feel special, putting up our balloons and decorating the table for us. Food was delicious ,we had slow cooked lamb , pizza, moussaka - all great . Good sharing starters . Would go again

Wonderful meal for Christmas eve with the family. Busy restaurant was pleasing to see. Staff very friendly and polite. Food was amazing. Portions are superb! We visited Efendy with some family for a birthday celebration. From the minute we got there all of the staff erre so friendly and amenable. We hadnt been before so we wernt too sure of some of the menu options but the guy who looked after us was really helpful at explaining everything We were celebrating a birthday and I took a cake and some candles and after we had finished the meal they brought it out and everyone sang hsppy birthday anf they were playing traditional turkish instruments - a really nice touch All food was delicious snd cooked to perfection - would just like to say thank you totbe whole team for a wonderful evening and such great service and food

Had a lovely family meal to celebrate my 70th birthday. Service and food were excellent. Nothing to fault at all. They even brought out a dessert and presented it me whilst singing Happy Birthday. Very impressed.

First time at Efendi, no booking, they sat us just In front at the door but kindly they moved us to the 1st floor and we were really surprised! Tiny restaurant but with a lot of atmosphere, super friendly manager and efficient staff. The food just amazing! We both eat a lot and the portions are big and everything super tasty.

Last minute booking but so pleased that we did. The restaurant was buzzing on a Friday night but although busy the staff and management could not have been more helpful. We were initially seated at a table for 2 but the manager/owner advised us that a larger table was available upstairs if we would like to move which we did. Thd food was tasty and well cooked. On our departure we were thanked warmly by all the staff. Don't be deceived by the plain tables and chairs this restaurant should be highly recommended.

Been to this restaurant several times (not enough to be a regular but visit once every few months) and we’re always welcomed like old friends. The owner/manager remembers our requirements and ensures we have a great experience. The food is incredible, freshly made and tasty. The mixed grill is highly recommended as is the sucuk. There are vegetarian and gluten free options so they make dining with requirements easier. As it is so good, it gets very busy, so for evenings you must book in advance.

Fabulous!! We booked a table on a Sunday evening during a weekend stay in Skipton after walking past the restaurant a couple of times and we were not disappointed! Service was friendly and quick and the waitress was helpful when we asked about the dishes. Our food was very fresh and hot and SO tasty. Wish we lived closer as it would be on our list of regular places to eat.

I have been visiting Efendy since it opened and I have never once had a disappointing experience. It is without a doubt one of the best restaurants I have been to, and I have travelled all over the world. The food is to an excellent standard. The bread is delicious and the hummus is out of this world. I always have the Beyti or Adana Kofta but recently I tried the Mousakka and that was also incredible. The most special part of this restaurant has to he the service. Aykut is almost always front of house and greets every single customer with a smile. Nothing is too much trouble and he is incredibly attentive and does his best to make sure every guest has a great experience. He has a great team of staff who all work incredibly hard. I have taken many friends and family members to Efendy and they all love it too. We also have a Holiday Let in Skipton and we always suggest to our guests to visit Efendy. Our visitors books often says what a great meal they have had there. My family and I are looking forward to many more years of dining and celebrating our special occastions with Aykut and his team at Efendy. Xxx
