Did the walk in the Visitors Guide. Although they only offrerd soup and sandwiches the quality and choice was excellnt

Modern, clean lines , and a welcoming bar. A good selection of wines and beers. The glass fronted cellar is a nice touch that you can see from the bar area. There is only 1 minor downside, a single toilet cubicle for men, so if you are planning on downing a few pints, you need to pick your moment. I would recommend a visit.

We ate here for Sunday lunch. The Sunday dinner was fantastic, lovely meat and a great selection of vegetables. We’d definitely come back if we’re in the area again.

Had a lovely meal with wine, the Buddha bowl, the seafood/mackerel one with truffle & parmesan cheese fries on the side. The Chilean house savignon blanc was suggested to us even though it was cheaper than the New Zealand. Goes to prove they were not just trying to make as much money as they could out of their customers. A refreshing change these days, & a refreshing wine.
