Cawden Barn in Craven

If you find yourself in Malham, I would recommend making the effort to walk the short distance up Finkle Street, out of the village centre to the Cawden Barn Coffee & Bakehouse. You won't be disappointed, great place not only for coffee and cake but also sandwiches, lunch etc. 👍👍

A perfect stop for lunch, afternoon tea and morning tea. Best coffee in Malham. All gorgeous homemade goodies; chocolate cake and soup to die for. A baby change table and lovely customer service too.

Scott gave us a warm welcome to this little great secret tearoom. Served amazing chocolate cake but had range of other lovely snacks too. Would highly recommend.

What a lovely cafe. A little bit out of the village, but we'll worth a visit. We had drinks (the coffee was excellent) and cake, but will be back for lunch. We also had a lovely chat with the owner, who was very friendly.

What a great find. We discovered this relatively new cafe on Google maps in preparation for a trip to Malham. You might call it bijou, you would definitely call it a barn conversion but it is most certainly a must either on your way (or back) to Janet's Foss or visiting the village and countryside. It has parking accessed via a short gravel track, a toilet and the biggest welcome and hospitality ever courtesy of Scott. Dog-friendly to boot - we felt very comfortable with our black lab puppy. Thank you, Scott. We are sure to return.

A friendly welcome in a cosy little cafe. The fried egg sandwich and coffee were freshly made and there was no wait. Recommended.

This coffee shop is a little gem in Malham- we have already recommended this to our family and friends and only been today. The homemade cakes and the quiche are delicious..not forgetting the coffees. Thank you Scott ..will DEFINITELY see you again.

What a lovely spot for coffee and a cake. Bacon butties were brilliant, as were scones and a classic Victoria sponge. Very impressive (if small) barn conversion that has created a lovely cafe. Very happy to recommend

A wonderfully quiet little spot just outside the very busy village of Malham. Service was warm and friendly, our food and drink was delicious and reasonably priced, and the views out the window were stunning. The thing I loved most was the peace.

Just delightful. Excellent coffee and cakes. Set up from the road with a rough path up to it. An ideal cyclist's stop but you'll need to haul your bike up the short track.

The first tea room you come to is The Old Barn. Go straight past and up the hill, which will be well worth it to Cawden Barn. The coffee is fantastic and plenty of cakes to choose from. Very friendly and welcoming

This is a great place for a drink, snack or ice cream. Just out of the village centre but worth the few hundred yard walk, also a car park. Excellent fresh food and home bakes.

Great after a walk, the food is amazing. A nice sausage and bacon butty. Add an egg for 50p. And, there’s only 2 indoor tables so it doesn’t get busy! Highly recommend please visit
