I had seafood pasta. Very good amount, but the prawns looked as if they were weeks old Grey, dry and unappetising. It is very noisy in the restaurant. I just found it underwhelming! Wine is too expensive also. Won't be visiting again. There are many restaurants in the area where the food is much better.

We visited while on holiday in the village after reading the reviews on here. The restaurant is small but didn’t feel awkward at all - just glad we booked! The pasta dishes were all delicious and everything was very reasonably priced. Lovely friendly waitress and atmosphere was perfect. Definitely give this place a visit if you’re staying in Ingleton!

Very disappointed with our visit. My pizza needed further cooking the cheese was only just melted, a couple of minutes extra would have been all it took. Service was very quick but I would have preferred to wait for a better quality meal. No one checked whether everything was ok, I did pass on my comments when the table was cleared but the server didn’t seem very bothered. Prices are extortionate - £3.50 for a Diet Coke is just ridiculous and it was almost flat. 2 pizzas, 2 cokes, 2 pieces of cake and 2 coffees, £51, this does not represent value for money, you could get much better value in Ilkley and at a much nicer venue. Coffee was lukewarm too but the cake was very nice, if expensive. The barn is very pretty, despite still smelling agricultural, last I visited it was still home to a horse and a food storage area. Toilet facilities are very lacking, only one toilet for the whole premises which is outside down an uneven/slippery path. My previous visit was also disappointing, again due to pricing, 2 coffees, 1 tea and 2 pieces of cake - nearly £25, I thought I’d been overcharged but didn’t realise until I got home, but maybe that is just the pricing of this place. Marketed as a farm shop/deli you would expect value for money but you definitely don’t get it! 2 visits both disappointing.

Wonderful evening at this cosy restaurant, the owner Mateo and his charming assistant being so friendly and accommodating. Delicious food, will definitely return when back in the area.

Had to ask for water for the table 3 times, got given someone’s order literally 30 seconds after we ordered food, staff were too busy gossiping until what looked like the manager appeared and then they started clearing tables and asking customers how their food was. Our doppio dough balls didn’t come with garlic butter so yet again had to request them. Server seemed to be let down when we didn’t leave a tip which we thought was quiet ironic. Food was great as usual but service was poor especially when it wasn’t busy.
