Lovely fish and chips, fresh and good portion sizes. Great options for kids too, with freshly cooked options for them. Really friendly and helpful staff, we even got jump start for our van! Thank you again

The best fish and chips I’ve had in a while - everything was very fresh and oils wash changed recently - the curry was amazing and I must must recommend the mozzarella sticks - handmade and fresh - made to order - we will most definitely back - also for anyone that is Muslim - we asked for the fish to be fried in a separately - very accommodating ( halal) - seating outside

Called into Ingleton chippy for lunch, overall improved over the years. Chips, Scraps & Spam Fritter were 5 stars. Fish was tasty but the battered was very thick and greasy. But I will call again

Sorry to say. Had gluten free fish, and it was not nice, and a small portion. Chips were very fat ridden, tasted as if reheated from previous cooking. Disappointed.

It helps when you can sit outside in the sun but .. this was still a really good fish, freshly cooked to order, crispy batter and a moist just cooked fish inside. Excellent. The portions of chips are limited in size and I got an extra so both me and the dogs would be happy. The curry sauce was plentiful and tasty but a bit lumpy. Not sure what the lumps were but they tasted good so who really cares. And we ate them in the sun on the tables outside which means an extra star for atmosphere. I mean it's in Ingleton after all so it's always going to be a winner.

Excellent chippy. Sustainable fish, smaller portions available, no plastic, friendly efficient staff, sensible prices. My only issue was too much salt, so best mention that if you don’t want too much.

Simply the BEST Chippy ever!! Our family have travelled all over the UK and sampled a fair few Fish & Chips…but this chippy was exceptional in every way. THE BEST hands down. Treat yourself and visit soon

We had just walked the Ingleton Falls Trail. About 12k. I was very hungry and really enjoyed my fish & chips. Good size fish and portion of chips

Beautifully light battery and lovely quality fish. The food was fresh and piping hot. Cosy table to sit down at under a gazebo.

The best haddock and chips in years. Generous portions, crispy batter and the scraps were dry not greasy. Nicely packaged in cardboard to take away. Well priced too. Friendly staff who added New Zealand to the map on the wall for us. Highly recommend this place just wish it was open more often!

The food was spot on stopped off here on a motorbike ride out the staff were great good banter will be back next time we are that way again

Brilliant chippy, what a site to come down to after Ingleton waterfall walk.

Had chips sausage and curry sauce twice with two cans of pop. Chips were actually quite good if a bit bitty but I’m presuming potatoes are in short supply in Yorkshire as the portions are always small. The sausage was ok but the curry sauce was watery and tasteless. All this for nearly £20 was very disappointing.

Great Chip shop with friendly staff. Just right after walking round the waterfalls. Small seating area inside. Chip butty, Sausage and gravy. Hmmmmm.!

Superb place to get fish and chips in Ingleton. They are not limited to that. They serve several dishes which are reasonably priced and tasty. They serve black coffee too. If you want milk, they separately serve cold milk for you to add according to preference. When you do full ingleton waterfalls trail and come out to the village centre this is one of the first few restaurants you come across. Dine in and outside seating available.

We are gluten free! So the lady explains how they cook the fish separately with the chips in the chip fryer, rather than their ordinary fish, which are done in a different one, and cooked in beef dripping! Well best gf fish n chip’s I’ve had in many a year, and a reasonable price too

After a long walk through whitescar caves, we popped into this chippy for a little treat. Staff were welcoming and friendly. The batter is lovely great portions good fish sizes only downfall that some of the chips were rock hard in the centre but overall it was ok.

Decent chippy, tasty chips. Not huge portions of chips but enough, especially with 9 chicken nuggets. The light bites fish portion was the right size. Not a huge menu but everything tasted fresh and all reasonably priced.

Very well priced, excellent value and quality and very tasty. We had fish, chips mushy peas x 2, one with gravy, one with curry and tried a black pudding fritter. Liked the seating outside, no frills but perfect for what it is and can watch the world pass by

We'd done a circular walk around Ingleton and rewarded ourselves with these delicious fish and chips! The service here was lovely and friendly, it was nice to see and hear the staff getting on so well. We thoroughly enjoyed our fish and chips. So many places get them so wrong, but these were perfect! Fairly reasonably priced for such a high tourist area too. There's a seating area outside and a small seating area inside. Great place for a pit stop when exploring or as a reward after a long hike!

Chips was just like warm the pie was hard because it had been warmed many times

I have now edited my review from a negative to positive as this brilliant fish and chip shop has new owners. I can confirm that we have revisited and had lovely fish and chips and the staff and owner was very friendly. I will be back again for more.

Not sure what fish is used but don't think it was Haddock or Cod, just seemed a bit small in texture and tasteless,chips were okay.

Got there just before closing on Friday night and yet they could not be more accommodating. Friendly chatty staff, exceptionally fresh fish and the best chips I’ve had in years. Hot and fresh and street side tables to eat at. Perfect. Will definitely return.

Lovely meaty fish with a lovely golden crispy batter and under a tenner with chips and curry sauce so good value. Staff where welcoming and friendly. Everything freshly cooked to order but only waited 10 minutes. Its a takeaway but they have a few tables and chairs outside to eat at if the weather allows. Great location 2 minutes from the local outdoor swimming baths so great for the hungry children after an hour swimming!

Ordered the large haddok and chips, i can honestly say its the best fish ive ever had (and ive had a lot). Chips were lovely too, Its not the cheapest chippy but if you want quality well worth paying the extra ££. Keep it up guys, top little chippy

"Yesterday's food at today's prices" Fish was good, I'm told. However, chips were very bad. About half of them were really chewy and tough: We think they were old cooked ones which had been refried. Strangely, other ones were uncooked in the middle so suspect it was a batch of new undercooked chips with old refried ones.

Chips were dry. Batter was the worst I’ve ever had. Incredibly disappointed. The standard should be so much better. Management needs to seriously up it’s game. As it will never getting returning customers.

Friendly team, let down by the poor quality & limited selection of food. Early 6pm on a Friday evening you’d usually expect a fish and chip shop to be fully stocked and ready to go for their weekend customers...wouldn’t you? We ordered Cod and chips but they only had Haddock, which we accepted but unfortunately the batter was overly oily, lacking in flavour and had an overall odd taste to it. We also ordered 2 pies which were pretty inedible. You can’t go wrong with chips right?- sorry to say these weren’t much better.. dry and flavourless. The owners have a real opportunity to create a booming little fish and chip shop in beautiful Ingleton!

For many years as we drive down from the lakes, we have dropped into Ingleton for Fish & Chips. Under the old owners it was always a bit hit and miss if it would be open. We called in this weekend for our second visit under the new owners and the Fish & Chips were fantastic. The Fish was cooked to perfection with lovely, light, crispy batter. We read the note on the counter regarding price challenges at the moment and it’s great to see even under the current pressure on prices the quality remains very high and nothing has been compromised in this area. I think people will always pay for quality. I would highly recommend the Ingleton Chippy

Fish and chips were great. The batter was really light and crispy. The bottom was slightly soggy though. Overall it was lovely.

Made a big order for a special family occasion...everything was perfectly on time and food was still hot 15 minutes later (took thermal bags). Fish and chips were excellent...highly recommend and hope their new business continues to prosper 😍

We ordered fish, peas and curry sauce plus another portion of peas. Short wait which was good. Only received. one portion of peas. When we went in the question it she says she’d only charge red us for one. Not very good customer service. Fish was like they’d gone to Iceland. Very small. Not good value for money. Won’t be returning.

Lost a star as fish was frozen and thawed just does not taste same as fresh fish. Salt was a touch generous for my taste. Service and presentation were spot on
