Great food as always and even fulfilled my extra request in the notes, bang on time as well what more can you ask for 👍

disappointing that its on just eat in my area just to have my order cancelled because they "cant deliver" to my area

12mins late at the point the delivery driver dropped the food all over my driveway. Obviously waiting for a fresh meal so i expect it may arrive no earlier than 9pm, by which it will be an hour late minimum.

Delivered within the timeframe they said. The food was excellent: very tasty and fresh. Highly recommended.

Was called and asked to pay £5 extra for delivery to the driver. Wasn't too bothered about this, but the order was missing items. Disappointing. Food was tasty though!

We decided to get some food as we were walking by and ordered the set meal for two. Helpings were generous, and each of the dishes in the set meal was nicely prepared and spiced. We ended up sharing with a third person, and there was ample for all. The one thing that threw us was cash-only, but that was not a show-stopper. We really enjoyed the food, and would definitely get take-away from here again.

food was great.! All hot and very tasty. When placing order on just eat it said that collection would be in 20 minutes. After placing the order this increased to 50 minutes. it was ready at the time they said, but took a lot longer than we had initially been estimated through just eat.

Tasted okay but it was all cold and had to be reheated. Very disappointing as it use to be great. We will try again another day and hopefully it’s back to the usual high quality

Food was great! Most negative reviews seem to come from delivery (just eat)which I dont think you should blame the restaurant for. Customer service was great, will be going again! Only took 20mins for collection

Ordered a take away for 2 people at 5.45pm and it was supposed to be delivered at 6.45pm which then was changed to 7pm by The Taj. 7.30pm still no food delivery, so phone them to find out what was happening and the guy in the phone said it is going to be another 20 minutes. This is not the first time this has happened either. I won’t be ordering from here again.

food arrived about 15 minutes early which was good. first time we've ordered from here. food was lovely, plenty of it and very tasty, will definitely order from here again.

Ordered 4 garlic mayo and paid for them. Got one. Heart broken. These guys are always great though so will let it slide!

Most delicious curry I have ever had! We have never been disappointed by the Taj but every dish in this order was fabulous and so different (Hariyali, Nihari Hindustan, aloo gobi and garlic naan). Thank you xx

Lets start with the positives. Food was divine. Literally the best curry ive had in years. - - bad news, it was so late that I had to drive out and pick it up myself. - - think they are very understaffed

The food was excellent but the delivery was terrible. The original estimate when we ordered was 30-45 minutes. After ordering this became 55-75 minutes. The food eventually turned up after 90 minutes.

Food was 40 minutes late and the service over the phone was terrible had to contact the restraunt 3/4 times and was told every time it’ll be 5 minutes and nothing happened so had to contact again and same result really disappointed with the customer service

Order was late, driver clearly got lost walking around the estate with her phone torch while the food was getting colder… had to warm it all up in the microwave as it was stone cold

Food was nice apart from the Lamb which was over cooked and the starter that tastes last it was yesterday’s and heated up again.

Very disappointed. Order was 20 minutes late and then the driver 'demanded' £7 cash for additional delivery charge. I had already paid £2.50 through JustEat and nowhere on my order or on the takeaways page did it mention this additional charge. Driver very rude when we explained we don't use cash hence ordering through JustEat and it was unacceptable to demand this. If the restaurant want to charge £9.50 (!) delivery this needs to be charged on the initial order. Food average at best.

Driver didn’t bring a bottle of coke when asked he said very flustered they’d run out and mention on next order to get it so we’ll see. Food was excellent but you still won’t send extra mint sauce when asked in comments box or when I’ve rung to ask for it. I’m beginning to think you are not bothered about customer satisfaction just their cash so prove me wrong PLEASE. !!

We are currently staying in Yorkshire at the campsite and by the time we got back it was late so we came across this takeaway service that delivered to the campsite we was staying at, we did have to wait but the food was delicious! I had a chicken korma and pilau rice and a tango to drink, the food was delicious!! I would give it 10 stars if I could! Food was brilliant. They also had vegetarian options aswell! The food was just lovely!

Always our go to takeaway when we visit Skipton. Great flavours in the curries and everything turned up piping hot.

Entered our address onto just eat and restaurant came up for delivery. Waited 40 minutes from order to then be told it would be £20 extra for delivery due to distance (we were not aware of). Then asked if we could cancel the order and get a refund which we were told we could. However we are yet to receive the refund (next day) and the order says it was delivered to which it wasn't. We are not local and were not aware of the distance from the restaurant to were we were

I was planning a walking trip that terminated in Malham and wanted to find out where I could eat. Prior to the trip I looked on just eat and saw that the Taj offered a delivery service to the hostel where I was staying. On the day of my trip, having walked 18 miles over the hills, I was looking forward to my meal from the Taj. I checked again on just eat and saw that the Taj was open for delivery to my address. I placed an order that came to about £25. The order was accepted and I thought that was it, but no, the order was soon cancelled. I contacted the Taj by telephone who told me that it wasn’t worth their while to deliver to my address as it was 10 miles each way. My point is why advertise on just eat if you have no intention of delivering to the address covered in the description. I was left hungry and disappointed by the Taj and a nice end to a hard day on the hills was spoilt.

Ordered a set meal for 4 on our way home after a day at York Races. Absolutely brilliant, really tasty & varied dishes. The Taj forgot to include the rice however the naans were great, poppadoms crispy & the whole meal just right in portion size.

Over two hours wait for a curry that still hasn't turned up, lies and a stinking attitude from the person who answered the phone when calling several times asking and expecting an honest estimate of how long it'll be. After 9pm and ruining the evening. Would avoid.

Absolutely appalling food was ok 3 items missing even wen they got delivered one was wrong also the delivery driver had the cheek to hoot his horn outside the house for us to come out not the cheapest of places n that’s what you get not good for a food place

PLEAS PLEASE GUYS again I rang to add extra mint sauce and yet again you only sent one which is part of pickle tray and again I rang and asked you to add some extra to which the chap who answered the phone said ‘no problem’ If it’s a question of paying Then PLEASE PLEASE tell me and I’ll pay for it cash at the door if need be. Please try rectify this as it’s spoiling what is an excellent meal service contact me if you wish so we can work a solution to a silly issue. Thanks Michael.

Everything was excellent as usual but WHY do you add extra mint sauce when asked either on the order in comment bit and even today after I rang to ask you you didn’t even though you said you would. Good food and delivered early. NOT HAPPY: upon delivery was asked for £5 delivery charge extra to what had been paid online. This was not advised at time of booking; was lucky we had some cash as too used to paying by card. Taj advised they tried to call to advise (no signal or Wi-Fi at site).

Do not go here! Ordered a takeaway they took my money then cancelled my order! Its open till 11. I ordered at 10.40! When I called the man was rude saying they were shut now. However I paid and got a message saying delivery 11.30! Never will go there again ...

Blackmailers, say they deliever to long preston, paid the delivery charge on just eat ... for them to call me and say they can deliever but want extra £20! Hung up and call back.. changed to £10 told them to cancel. Do no say you cover an area then try ring me of a mobile to cover your back.

Bought the mixed special kabab, and got a large didn't realise large was like 2 foot long lol. Was only me eating. Its lasted me 2 days and unfortunately had to chuck half. But was absolutely delicious, I even dreamed about eating it again. 😋 is

Meat was very very tough. The donner was thin and didn't taste of anything. Used to be very good but somethings changed.

Good food ... very poor time keeping. Being told "we are busy" does not account for a text saying food on way .... and still waiting for it 40 minutes later!

Good food as usual but far too early. In fact we were just finishing it when the message arrived saying that the order was on its way! Therefore we weren’t ready for it when the driver arrived.

Received a call asking me to pay +66% more cash than advertised at the door for delivery fee after ordering, then they missed items off the order. Would suggest their effort goes into getting the order right, rather than extracting additional cash from customers. Food was good, but local restaurants that don’t deliver are better. Will walk in future & save being both hustled for cash on my own doorstep, and then subsequently let down when I open the bag xx

Amazing Take Away!!! I am from Burnley and will not buy another Kebab from anywhere else since having one from the Taj!!! It is a 1hr and 20 minute round trip (depending on Traffic) and is Worth it every time! Service is Exceptional, you can see the Chef's while they prepare the food, always Friendly and thry Greet you Warmly as you enter. Infact after writing this review I fancy one of your Large Mixed Kebab's!!! See you in about 40 minutes 😋

The hottest madras I’ve ever had

Poor quality food! Ordered poppadoms which didn’t arrive! The pickles and condiments did though! Byriani dishes really poor lacking taste and the sauce was similarly disappointing. Service though was prompt and friendly driver delivered on time.
