UNBELIEVABLE as the daughter of a French Mum I can honestly say the best croissants I have had outside of France. The sourdough bread is delicious and I wish this was my local bakery. truly The sausage rolls and scotch eggs were lovely. What an absolutely beautiful bakery.

Called in for a beef and veg pasty and paid £3.95 for it. It was good and weighty but unfortunately made of majority undercooked, very thick salty pastry. Inside was dry and rubbery minced beef and pieces of potato and seemingly little else. No seasoning at all. Very disappointing indeed.

We stopped in here a few times whilst staying in the area. Lovely small bakery with a big selection of cakes, tray bakes and pies/pastries. We really enjoyed their bacon butties (which had plenty of bacon in and were a good price) The latte I had was one of the best coffees I've had for ages. Perfect hot temperature and smooth flavour that wasn't too strong. Their scones were really nice, and I got a piece of the giant carrot cake (special) which was amazing. Had such strong flavours and was very rich. The people serving were really friendly. I'm glad I don't live nearby or I'd be here all the time!

Went here by chance as the other cafes had closed for the day. So glad they were! Everything is made on site and there is an incredible choice of bread, cakes and savoury goods. Had only gone for coffee (which was great) and went back each day over the weekend for one, purchasing flapjacks for my Y3P walk and then on the Sunday went back and bought some delicious loaf cakes and tray bakes for the family. Would recommend for walkers lunches the tasty looking pies/pasties etc. Plenty of room to sit in and enjoy the delicious offerings.

Called and bought a lamb and vegetable pasty for lunch on my way through the village based purely on the 'Award Winning Bakery' signs. Such high expectation were not met, the pastry was much too thick, the filling a little dry and overall the whole thing was overly salty. Very disappointing so can't recommend, also parking is a bit of an issue.

I noticed the bakery while walking around the village with my dog . A lovely interior with friendly staff & an array of sweet & savoury items & hot & cold drinks. Eat in & take away available. My dog took to one particular staff member, 'Claire', ( I think the treats helped!!!). If we're in the area again, I have no doubt we'll spend time in there, & probably buy even more than we did this time, especially their Eccles cakes & bread.

We decided to go for breakfast, we both had a coffee, unfortunately they didn’t have oat milk, and a pain au chocolat. The pain au chocolat was huge, unfortunately served cold which spoiled it. Looked like a decent bakery, I wouldn’t recommend eating in though. Seating area wasn’t inviting; lack of tables and crumbs on the seats.

Called here today whilst out trail riding on a wet windy day. The pasties were brilliant large mug of tea and a vanilla slice, what’s not to like? I’m amazed at some of the negative comments especially regarding the staff as they were lovely, nothing too much trouble, guess you can’t please everyone one all the time. I personally think they were brilliant. This will be a regular stop know I know where it is when I’m in the area.

Visited today and there were around 20 cakes on display that were out of date. Lots of staff around not doing much so there is no excuse for it. I think they were hoping that customers bought them without knowing. Have been here before and have enjoyed it but something has changed recently and standards have slipped. Staff made aware but didn’t seem too bothered.

Recently has our annual holiday in Ingleton and we were delighted to be able to visit Seasons on most days during our trip. Various pies, pasties, bread and cakes we're sampled - all top quality. We stopped here for lunch on Sunday 19/09/21. People were queuing outside, but we decided it would be worth it. The shop looked really nice so did the bread. I ordered 2 coffees, 2 lamb and veg cornish pasties, 1 sausage roll with apple and 2 freshly baked egg custards. The bill came to just under £20. There was a table free outside so we sat and ate, or attempted to eat our food. The lamb and veg cornish pasties looked really nice. However, on first bite it was so salty and tasteless I couldn’t believe it!! I pulled the thick salty pastry from the top and tried the filling. It was so dry, tasteless and very very salty. It was disgusting and I could not eat it. Without prompting, my wife had the same experience with her pasty. My son, who was very hungry and shuvs any sausage roll down his neck as it’s a treat did the same. He had one bite and nearly spat it out, he is 5yrs old!! We put the pasties to one side and tried the egg custards. They were absolutely disgraceful. They tasted of bleach!! I actually spat it out my wife felt the same!! We were so disappointed as the bakery looked and smelled beautiful. The bread as I’ve mentioned looked fantastic. However, every bit of food we bought was disgusting and is the worst food I have ever tasted. We wanted to take the food back and complain but the queue by this time was far too big and we were going down Whitescar caves at a set time so didn’t have time to attempt a refund. What a shame!!!

The shop assistant was so rude and I felt that she didn’t want to serve me even though I was the only person in the shop (we were adhering to the social distancing rules for the shop). She snatched my money out of my hand for no reason. The cakes were ok but I thought they were expensive at £2.95 per cupcake. I won’t be going back just because of how I was treated. Visited in early October 2016 to buy a picnic for a walk we were going on. We were very impressed by the range on offer and very much enjoyed the sandwiches and pies we bought. Friendly and helpful staff and picnic benches outside for dry days - particularly enjoyed our vanilla slice that was so large we had to share! Messy but amazing!

I had been staying in Ingleton for a week with walking friends, and dropped in here on the last morning to take a cake back to my partner as a gift. It is a single storey building, with various cakes on display in the reception area, and a choice of different breads on shelves behind the counter. It was a couple of minutes before someone appeared from the back, they seem to do a good trade in takeaway sandwiched with bacon, sausage, egg etc for builder types as an early breakfast (this was about 8.15),The cakes were wrapped in film, looked attractive enough, but were not priced, I took a half chocolate cake. I also took a small white loaf for breakfast toast and sandwiches. I was surprised at how much I was charged , and did not think it represented good value for money. I suspect I may have been overcharged as a visitor, prices should have been displayed. The white loaf was alright for toast, but nothing special. The problem came with the chocolate cake when i got it home. It was rather heavy, not the fluffiest sponge, but the main issue was that it had an odd and unpleasant taste, that was certainly not chocolately. My partner spit out the first mouthful she took ,and did not want to eat anymore of it, so a wasted gift for her from my holiday. I did persevere and eat it myself over the next 3 days, but it was a chore and joyless experience, and left a strange unpleasant aftertaste. There had definitely been something added to the mix that badly affected the taste, and for one of us made it inedible, and as I felt it had been on the pricey side initially, overall a very disappointing experience. Hopefully it was just a dodgy batch of cake mix, but I will not return again if I am back in the area to this bakery. If I had still been based locally I would have taken it back and asked for a refund or an alternative, but home was some 50 miles away so I was stuck with this disappointing cake that looked ok but tasted very odd, certainly not of the promised chocolate.

We have passed this bakery many many times but this time decided to call in. We just got a couple of pies and two vanilla slices, they were really good although a little 'pricey'. Nevertheless we will certainly call again!

Just called in today after walking up Whernside for a cake as energy levels were dropping, Choc Eclair and Jam scones were fabulous but the sourdough spiced fruit loaf I brought home is one of the nicest loaves I have ever bought. I bake all my own bread but I was tempted with this loaf of bread and the taste doesn't disappoint. Proper Bread! And I know proper bread takes skill to make. Can't wait to call back in next time we pass.

I live local to seasons bakery and I have never had anything bad. Everything is superb, freshly made, very tasty and served by friendly staff. The pasties are to die for, lovely shortcrust pastry with plenty of filling. All cakes are excellent, especially the vanilla slices, they are massive. Well worth a visit

I holidayed in Ingleton last year. This is a fab bakery. I rarely buy bread as I bake my own but the bread on sale here is excellent with 2 fresh sours each day.

We live quite nearby and fancied some cakes and something for lunch so my husband went up to this bakery. What a disappointment. He bought an eclair and a choux bun, plus a couple of chicken slices. The choux pastry of the eclair was, frankly, scorched to say the least and was not a pleasant experience. Binned it. The choux bun was filled with creme patissiere which was 'split' and therefore unpleasant to taste.Binned it. The two chicken slices were a triumph of pastry over filling, ie. hard to find the filling. Was so looking forward to a good, local cream cake place. Alas, 'twas not to be. The errors with the choux pastry and the creme patissiere are pretty much unforgivable for an experienced baker. Will not return.

We had been looking forward to a cream bun from this 'Award winning' bakery, which is fairly local to us. Unfortunately we were very disappointed. At about 10 am the choice was somewhat limited. Maybe there would have been more choice later. We bought a choux bun and an eclair. When we came to eat them this afternoon we found that the eclair pastry was burnt and the creme patissiere in the choux bun was 'split' and, therefore, was grainy to the palate. Most of the cream buns went in the bin!

Passing through Ingleton, we just called in for a few savouries for tea. Steak & Kidney Pie was lovely! Nice sausage rolls and I treated my 11 year old to a huge slab of Rocky Road which she proclaimed, 'The best ever!' Will be back soon!

Stopped off here whilst out on the motorbike with my boyfriend a couple of days ago. He'd been before and wanted me to try the fruit scones because he claimed they were amazing. I have to say he was certainly right! I spent about a tenner in there because I couldn't resist all the baked goods they had on display! I got a millionaires shortbread which tastes lovely, a meat and potato pie which was okay, not the best I've had, and a fruit scone filled generously with jam and cream, beautiful! The scones are to die for, wish I lived closer! The staff were lovely, we were served by a new girl who was just being trained up bless her, but she was excellent nonetheless. Will definitely visit again when we're over that way!

Got seated with menu then waited!! After 15 minutes I had to ask for order to be taken. Food was good when it arrived. Our waitress was less than efficient. Other customers arriving after us were served some time before us.

We called in here to break up a car journey and my wife had the sausage bap and I had the bacon bap. The baps were a good size with plenty of filling, indeed my wife was unable to finish hers. All the staff were efficient and helpful and we may well have to return again in the not too distant future.
