We were pleasantly surprised to find that the cream tea included fresh clotted cream (not the packaged kind.) Delicious treat, for sure!

Sem muitas opções e também nada muito especial. Vale a pena ficar ali nas mesas de fora, com a vista do castelo. O bolo de cenoura muito bom.

Tea Room and shop are adjacent to each other & in the castle grounds. Excellent reproductions of the family to enjoy while you sip your hot choc!

Today we visited Janet and apprentice for a lunch. Home made, baked blind, Stilton and broccoli quiche with salad and a beautiful pit of Yorkshire tea. The staff were amazing and the food was a delight. The surroundings were so clean it put top class restaurants to shame. Not a thing was out of place in the service and it makes a refreshing change to those eateries out there who fall short of this exceptional standard.

Lovely food, made better by the stunning painting of the life of Lady Anne. I has read about the triptych.it was fascinating to see it.

Pity they only had choice of filter coffee which was weak and not much choice in the way of food. However, it was warm , clean and comfortable.

Having enjoyed the visit to the castle, we then settled down for a pot of tea which was enjoyed siting outside in the autumn sunshine.

Food was good, but not enough choice for gluten free, only two options and both were from the dessert side, Brownies or carrot cake.

We popped in here after visiting the castle. We would’ve liked a sandwich as it was lunch time but were informed that they aren’t doing them at the moment. This is a shame as the other choices were quite limited but I guess at this point in time it’s not easy. We settled for a tea cake for him and a cheese scone for me which were both tasty. The hot drinks were nice but again the hot chocolate couldn’t have marshmallows or cream. It would be a good idea to cover up the big menu board as you can’t choose from it. The tea room was spotlessly clean and the service was good.

Perfect place to stop for lunch before or after your castle tour. We had two sandwiches which are made fresh served with a side salad and coleslaw. The cakes are to die for you don’t know which one to choose. We went with Coffee & Walnut and Victoria Sponge both were delicious and the hot chocolate is so thick and yummy.

You need to enter the castle to obtain access, but this does make it nice and quite.Limited hot menu, plus cold snacks and lovely cakes. Only filter or instant coffee though. Fast free WiFi. Great staff. Nice views of the castle / down the high street.

We took a visit to the castle and dropped into the cafe for lunch. The fare on offer was excellent and all homemade by the woman who served us at the till. I had an outstanding broccoli and Stilton quiche and others in my party had soup, sandwiches and jacket potatoes, all were excellent. We followed that with a fresh cream and strawberry jam scone.....absolutely delicious. Service was quick and friendly, and it was all very well priced. It has disabled access as well. Well worth a visit.

Stopped by after a ramble around the castle, much needed coffee as it was chilly. Staff very helpful, asked for a latte, but next best was good enough, cafetiere coffee and hot milk, most welcome, hit the spot, thank you.

This is a well set up licensed little tea room. They have a reasonable selection of nice food and cakes at a reasonable price. Seating inside and outside and next to the gift shop

Friendly service and clean surroundings. Good choice of cakes and light snacks but a bit limited on what coffee was available. Asked for an espresso and a latte but the choice was filter coffee in a cafetière or instant. Nevertheless it was good coffee. A bit on the pricey side, but the scones with jam and cream were freshly made to order and were gorgeous, so no complaints there.

This was a nice place to have a coffee, and a lovely slice of coffee and walnut cake. Had a lovely filter coffee they do not do the usual range of coffee's. Seemed to have a fairly extensive menu, with good service and a clean place at a reasonable price.

Skipton castle is very interesting. The tearoom in the bailey was most attractive & we decided to stay for a family tea. Vegans were not catered for & when we asked for soya milk we were treated like freaks. Equality had not hit this spot & we regretted not having gone to one of the tearooms or pubs in the town as one (behind the church) advertised vegan friendly options.

The title says it all, really. The tea room is spotlessly clean with a good choice of food which is prepared on the premises by very pleasant staff. The interior is light and airy and there are seats and tables outside. Very nice indeed.

My husband and I visited this tea room and our walk through the Skipton Castle. The atmosphere was cozy and it had lots of natural light. I saw a couple of desserts that looked good but I didn't try it because most items were gluten free. I don't always like the flavor or the texture of these types of snacks so I decide to have tea and toast. We will visit again to try their lunch.

Gorgeous little cafe with super friendly staff. I ordered a GF toastie and the owner came to check whether it was an intolerance or an allergy, which I really appreciated! The food was absolutely delicious and my friend and I felt so comfortable. Highly recommend!

We've visited many times and chosen from the breakfast menu which has always been first class. However today I decided to choose a punjabi lunch special which was brown lentil Dahl yogurt, salad and freshly made chapati, oh my word it was first class. Well worth the 36 mile round trip. The owner & waitress are lovely, so friendly and helpful and seem very genuine that you enjoy your visit. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed

My first visit to this pub and what a change from many of Skiptons tourist orintated watering holes a true"local". Excellent choice of cask beers and some quickfire crac with the barman. I'll be in again.
