Hoggs 'n' Heifers in Craven

Its literally like a scene from Deliverance. The atmosphere is appalling, its full of proper locals and say no more about that but you do wonder! When you walk in the music almost stops and the local inhabitants stop gossiping and turn their heads in unison to glare at you clearly shocked at how you dare enter their second home. The inhabitants even have their own seats AVOID

An excellent pub good ales and food loads of parking, dog friendly. Some great use of motorcycles as decoration.

Visiting Bentham for the weekend and went here for a few pints. It’s clearly a local pub but they are so friendly, welcoming and the staff are fantastic! Thank you for making us feel at home. The beer is great too.

Great little quirky pub, motorbikes in the raffters, friendly staff and customers. Definetly recomend. Parking is easy plus inside and outside seating.

So I'm going to be honest here....what should of been a lovely family meal out (we don't have many a year due to the cost of living) we had booked in and everything was great, that is until my husband went to the bar. He said if they could turn down the air conditioning to the man behind the bar, the man was tall and bald said no and that it would mean all people would then be too warm as he said he was also warm without even thinking abiut the reason the request many have been asked. Now I have a very low immune system due to certain illnesses and being cold can cause me to become seriously ill quickly. Because of this I will not come here again

We found thus gem of a pub as we passed through the village. There was a band playing in the carpark. So quirky inside, we'll be calling in again.

Had fantastic night,live bands in car park,great beer,bbq and food stalls outside,sausages were amazing,despite the rain and wind,well done to you all.

What a fantastic place. Isabella is absolutely brilliant at her job and we've never known anyone who can multi-task like she does. And Andy is a cracking landlord.

If you visit Bentham make sure u have a drink in this pub. Really friendly locals who went out there way to make us feel welcome. My daughter made a few friends including the barmaid and her dog Coco who she really took a shine to and shed a few tears when we had to leave for the final time. Hope to visit again in the future. Brilliant pub famed for its displays of motorcycle memorabilia. Regular live music. Dog friendly. Wi-fi is available to customers. Toilet access is via a flight of steps.

Nicked in for a drink, locals all around the bar, no one spoke to me apart from the barmaid who was cheery and prices were good.

Just off the high street it's easy to miss this bar but it's well worth trying to find. This is a proper friendly bar with no frills or fads. The quality of the beers we tried was top notch although as with all the pubs in the area the range is very limited to low strength light ales.
