We've eaten here before when visiting Grassington. It was very good in every way the first time and lived up to our expectations. Very friendly service, delicious food, although the soup was so tasty, it was on the cool side. Overall, we'd definitely visit again, when in Grassington. Lovely restaurant setting.

Great restaurant and bar in the heart of Grassington. Good selection of Ales and Lagers and a laid back atmosphere. Food was excellent visited twice and on both occasions the food was exquisite and the staff really friendly.

We were in Grassington for 3 nights and chose the Black Horse as it seemed to have everything we needed. The Restaurant was very popular and the menu had a wide selection for a pub. I chose the pad Thai on the first night and the chicken curry on the following night. Both were excellent . As we were there for hiking we found the breakfast started a little late at 8.30-9.30 but we managed to work around it . Very friendly and helpful staff and excellent service in general. I’d highly recommend the Black Horse and its restaurant .

This is a great pub and restaurant located in the beautiful village of Grassington. We arrived without a table booking and although they were busy, they went out of way to accommodate us. The service was first class by both lovely waitresses and the meals, that arrived much faster than expected, were both delicious. We returned the next evening for their weekly quiz which was great fun as well.

Great 50th birthday party for a large group of 17 people including children. I had organised a 50th birthday party for my brother at the Black Horse restaurant. I was in regular contact with Millie who was v responsive and helpful. Initially the number was 25 then 19 and finally 17 and they were accommodating to the changes. They arranged it so we had a large table at the back of the restaurant, which worked perfectly. We pre-ordered food and everyone enjoyed their meals and said how friendly and efficient the staff were. I can't rate the staff or food highly enough given it was a v busy Pride w/e, they did amazingly well. We will be back. A+++++

We had a lovely couple of nights in this charming pub/hotel. Our room was comfy, spotlessly clean and warm. The food in the restaurant was excellent both breakfasts and dinners. The staff friendly and the place had a lovely cosy friendly feel. Would definitely return and recommend.

We were staying in nearby Hebden and there is a wealth of pubs with dining in the area. We were drawn to The Old Hall Inn because of previous good reviews on Trip advisor and we were not disappointed. We had not booked prior to our visit and just turned up on the off chance. The pub was busy with diners but the very helpful young lady behind the bar was quick to find us an available table. The menu offered the usual variety of pies, fish and chips, and a curry or two but we happened to be visiting during National Burger Week and the imaginative chef had at least a dozen burger varieties from around the world, including New Zealand, Germany, Spain and France, there was something to appeal to every burger lover. The burgers themselves were top notch, very meaty and full of flavour and the various toppings were inspiring. This coupled with a very welcome pint of a local brew led to a wholesome and satisfying meal. The service was superb and I would definitely come back to the Old Hall again.

An absolute gem of a bakery! Couldn’t do without my bacon/cheese slice most mornings! Lovely dedicated staff who all the locals appreciate!
