The best restaurants in Nechells Birmingham West Midlands

The vide was Great as usual, it was nice stopping in for a pint and chips, and seeing unexpected uni mates. I totally enjoy it.

Very poor experience. Food was below average, salad in my chicken shawarma platter was old and browning. The portion itself seemed stingy. Neither my husband nor I enjoyed the shawarma however, he did enjoy his lamb mandi. Interior is strange; dark and cramped and the service is beyond awful. Rude staff aside from the gentleman that welcomed us in, who was covering for someone else and apologised on behalf of the owner?, who was irritable when confirming the price of part of our meal. The hygiene is also questionable as I found a hair in my hummus and while I appreciate this is out of the restaurant’s control, a young man seemed to help himself to my fries while his mother was paying at the till. Completely ruined the entire meal which wasn’t enjoyable to begin with anyway.

My Fav hot pot outside of Asia, really good value and excellent food. Still love this hotpot, remains my favourite! It’s inside the Genting Casino.

This place has REALLY gone down since the other branch has opened up on ladypool road. They serve pasta/spaghetti 2 days old, and didnt tell us beforehand. Meat was all the same, tasteless and quality was poor. Nothing seemed fresh. Food all came out within 5mins, and we placed a large £80/£90 order. This tells me everything was heated in microwave or heated up quickly on the grill. Wont be returning here again.

It's a bit of a lottery with this takeaway. On some occasions the food is great and others it's below average. There's no consistency.

I find this place to be very standard, we visited about three times during lunch hours. The food was standard, good parking in the back, service was ok and it was family friendly.

Booked this hotel as we were shocked by another booking and couldn't spend the night their. ABBEY made us feel welcome as soon as we walked in 5stars for her. Lovely hotel and NCP car park just across the road so easy acess.

the service is very bad so I'm waiting for a long time for order and they can't take the bother anyone.

Today I went for pizza I ordered pizza with thin crust, extra cheese but they didn’t made thin crust instead of that they made undercooked crust and cheese is very less on it I really didn’t expect that

We made a last minute booking and turned up on time. Lovely restaurant and nice vibe. Got served quite quickly and all going well. Lovely cocktails too. Not a lover of food coming out when cooked so didn’t bother having a starter as good chance would have come out with main meal or after. Three pizzas and one chicken Milanese. Chicken looked and tasted good. Pizzas are more pizzette in size. Like a garlic bread starter size. My nduja sausage topping one had tiny amounts of topping, more like a margarita with a hint of flavour. I told the server when collecting the plates, though wasn’t asked what I felt about the food. Taken aback but nothing more. Overall I wouldn’t return unless it improved portion size and toppings. Sorry. Promised a lot and delivered medium to little
